- 0102030405about mehey there! my name is fox (she/her), and i'm hoping to see if anyone is potentially interested in rping with me! i won't bore you with a ton of details about myself, but figured i'll say some fun things about myself before we dive into anything more serious!
• i'm a psychology student currently in uni, which means i am above the age of 18. because of that, i would prefer my partners to also be over 18. (not too surprising, but always like to mention that!)
• i love making miniature models!
• i also restore dolls on the side, and adore the color pink. it's the superior color.
if that sounds like a cool person to you, hopefully we can potentially be partners! below i'm going to list out some rules. i'm pretty firm on most of these, so please keep that in mind when contacting me!
please also read my entire post before contacting me! i don't mean to be rude, but i have stopped responding to PMs that make it clear they skimmed over my post.
(see next tab.)
- 0102030405rules
➢ As of recently, I write a lot for my posts. My average is around 1.2k words, though I am mainly looking for 800+ at the moment. I don't mean to sound rude, but please don't contact me and ask if a max of 500~ words is alright with me. I'm looking to push my limits at the moment with longer posts, and I find myself unable to write much without a partner who can match that length! I have nothing against shorter replies, but I got long response brain rot.
➢ Once again, only looking for partners who are 18+.
➢ No bigotry. I shouldn't have to clarify this, but just putting it out there. I don't tolerate any type of behavior that resembles racism, fetishization, sexism, or anything close to that.
➢ [T.W.] While I am certainly not against heavy themes in my RPs, and I often have them included, there are a few things that I simply do not want to see as the 'main' attraction. I will not RP out abusive relationships, though they may be mentioned as backstory. I do not want to RP anything that involves or mentions p/dophile, inc/st, r/pe, and st/lker-like plots. Please respect this, as these topics upset me and I don't want to be upset while RPing! No one does! I will also respect any triggers you have, so please mention them beforehand!
➢ I play both genders, and I am perfectly fine with doubling. At the moment, I don't have a huge interest in doubling, but it's absolutely not off the table. (AKA I'll probably do it lole.) Please mention to me any pairings you would be interested in playing in your PM if you do decide to message me! (I'll go ahead and mention that personally at the moment I am looking for m/f slot in an RP, but again, mostly open to doubling.)
➢ Please include a writing sample if you contact me, I will provide one in return if you want!
➢ Aiming for a once a week reply at the moment. University will randomly kick my ass, but I'd love for a partner who isn't afraid of reaching out and asking about posts if I fall behind! Hold me accountable! (But also if you aren't comfortable doing that, it's okay!)
➢ I'm alright with both threads and PMs! Prefer to keep it on-site to help abide by the rules here, but I'll happily throw you my discord for planning-related conversations.
- 0102030405wordbankjust a lil word-bank of things I like. If you see anything in here and go 'oh my god, I have a plot that's really close to that!" please tell me about it! I'd love to hear it!
enemies-to-lovers | superhero/villain | mermaids | pirates | sirens | fae | witches/witch hunters | humans-in-space | ghost/detective | inhumans-in-a-human-city | gods-and-humans | twisted-fairytale | rumpelstiltskin | cinder-inspired [marissa meyer] | caraval | gothic
- 0102030405originalsbelow are some actual plots i'd love to do! just a heads-up, i will have some webtoon inspired plots listed separately! though tbh most of my plots are based on somethin' else and will be appropriately credited.
one or two plots might be gendered, and that is because i am lazy and don't feel like rewriting them! (i am absolutely selling myself as a great partner rn.)
✴Oceans as Red as Blood [Based on to 'To Kill a Kingdom']
The seas no longer belong to the men who used to rule the waves with wooden vessels. For whatever reasons fifteen years ago, they showed up. Beautiful and alluring, these creatures of the sea peeked up from the waves with lovely voices and suggestive gazes. But when their lips parted and the songs began, so did the slaughter. Entire fleets were wiped out by these half human, half fish women, and trading was nearly destroyed. No one was safe from these creatures, dubbed 'sirens.' They stole the hearts quite literally from the chests of their victims, and never stuck around long enough for capture.
But mankind doesn't fall so easily. Hunters began to arise, and take out the nasty creatures. Turning to foam once they were killed, soon ships of grizzled hunters were sent out to spear these beastly women. One ship in particular excelled at hunting, their captain known for being the prince of a neighboring kingdom. He ditched a life of gold and pleasure for salt and brine. He had one goal, and that was to kill every single sea-bitch there was.
Yet when he finds a woman floating in the water one quiet night, his entire life is flipped. Animalistic and nasty, the woman offers one thing to the captain. If he delivers her to land, she'll teach him the secret to killing the Queen of Sirens. With her dead, the creatures would have no leader. No motivation to keep killing. He has no reason to trust the woman, but something about her is familiar. She reeks of the sea and blood, and the necklace around her neck is known to be only worn by sirens. Will a shaky alliance form, or will the two find themselves at each other's throats?
✴ Poison! [Inspired by 'Poison,' by Bridget Zinn]
Muse A has just received some awful news. They're supposed to kill the Queen before her coronation, and not get caught whilst doing so. They also don't know why they need to do such a thing, but are warned of grave consequences if they fail. Unfortunately for Muse A, there are several issues. Not only is the princess their former best friend, Muse A is a terrible aim and now apparently poison darts are the only way to go. (Thank you, mysterious Seer with has decided to be as vague as possible.) Despite being the best potion master in the kingdom, nothing can prevent them from missing the princess and barely escaping with their life. Now on the run as a fugitive, Muse A must somehow evade the kingdom's army while circling back to still kill the Princess before she's crowned Queen and something terribly awful happens. (Allegedly.)
Fortunately for Muse A, they just so happen to run into Muse B while hiding in the trees from a particularly nasty guard hot on their trail. Muse B is also on the run, though they won't say what for, and neither will Muse A. Together, both decide to help each other return to the kingdom and finish what they need to do.. Unfortunately for them, the trip back is filled with goblins and trolls, witches and warlocks, and a lot of talking animals that just won't shut up. There's also the issue of Muse A being a wanted criminal, and the fact that Muse B is the one marrying the soon-to-be Queen and is trying to find her would-be assassin. Whoops.
✴ Salted Veins
On the small island of Pandrosa, the ocean is never calm. Storms constantly rage, and the sky is always grey. The dead aren't buried, but rather sent out to sea to float away. Only a few ships brave the storms for supplies, and it's not uncommon for newer vessels to never return. In the cold winter nights, chattering old women tell children to stay far away from the cliffs and imposing rocks, for one strong gust of wind could send them toppling over.
It seems that no one informed Muse A's sister of that, whose body was found on the craggily rocks below, her fresh nightgown bloodied and ripped. Misfortune has dogged Muse A's family for the past several years, as they continue to lose family members to tragic and freak accidents. One sibling slipped and hung themselves in the lighthouse, while another seemingly walked right into the sea while they slept, only waking up to scream for help before they went under. There's only so much tragedy one can handle, and Muse A is nearly at their limit.
That is, until the storms settle and the ports begin to open again. As sun shines through the clouds for the first time in years, Muse A can only wonder if it's a sign from the Gods that something good is going their way. Yet something in the air seems strong, and the mystery stranger (Muse B) that Muse A has found themselves acquainted with seems to know more than they let on. As more ships pour into the port, more and more begins to go wrong in their little village. Is Muse A able to solve the mystery with Muse B, or are they soon to end up like their siblings, shipped out to sea in a wooden coffin?
✴ Lost Galaxies
Body-transferring has been outlawed for years, and for a good damn reason. In the face of an ever-extending universe and such little time, humans created a process in which one doesn't die of their old age. By transferring their consciousness to younger body, one can continue to explore the world while effectively getting a second chance at life. The only issue is, youthful bodies don't just pop up out of nowhere, empty of a consciousness of their own. When young men and women begin to go missing all across the galaxies, only to turn up with no connection to their lives, it quickly became clear that the use of body-transferring wasn't used to help continuous space exploration, but instead keep the dying wealthy alive and youthful. Today, no one can legally transfer to a new body.
But in the darkest corners of space, the dying rich spend millions to raise the 'perfect' body. Born with their desired features, these individuals grow up in an 'orphanage' and learn specific physical tasks in the hopes to graduate to the promised 'University.' It's only when they reach the age of twenty-two are they put into cryosleep for their journey across the universe, only to never wake up again.
Muse A is a low-class space smuggler, who doesn't ask questions and simply gets from Point A to Point B. They don't look in the cargo, they don't ask about the cargo, and they certainly don't care about the cargo. It's only when they hear someone politely asking for help do they realize who they're unintentionally smuggling across the galaxy. When Muse B emerges from their malfunctioning pod, they're absolutely convinced Muse A has kidnapped them for some unknown reason, and they two begin to quickly butt heads. As the truth is slowly revealed to Muse B, the two begin their journey across the galaxy in attempt to right what was wrong, while avoiding those they've angered just by existing. Muse B was a product never delivered, and Muse A is the one responsible.
Webtoon Inspired Plots
Below I've listed a few WEBTOONs that I would love to explore the world of. Each one is listed with credit to the author/illustrator. I'm mainly looking for loose retellings of the stories, or just existing in the world! Deviations are always welcomed when it comes to these sorts of plots.
✴ House of Stars by Saltacuentos/Lion Illustration
"An adventurer finds themselves on a quest to find the missing girls of their small town, as they seem to be the only one who can remember them. The adventurer finds themselves in a strange world where stories come to life, and must face the tasks that the Queen sets out for them. Along the way, they're aided by the unwilling knight of the Queen, who seems to know more than they're willing to let on."
✴ Suitor Armor by Purpah
"In a world where fairies and humans are at constant war, a young fairy must conceal themselves among the royal human family to survive. Their identity is only known by the King, and they must constantly bind their wings to avoid detection. Yet when a new mage comes to visit the castle with a promise to defeat the fairies, the hidden fairy finds themselves pulled into their world and their deadly creation. An animated suit of armor with a hidden face and little to say is revealed as the secret weapon. They only have one goal in life: Kill fairies. Yet when they're tasked to become a guard for the hidden fairy of the castle thanks to a close encounter with a rogue assassin, things become a bit more complicated. Especially when the armor begins to feel emotions like used it too."
