For as long as there has been sentience, creatures of the supernatural have roamed the Earth. For nearly a thousand years, fear kept an uneasy stalemate. But while the numbers of magical beings remained mostly static, the humans on the other hand, kept growing in numbers. Until the day they became bold enough to begin hunting in packs their ancient fears. It was a dark time for the magical world, and the most powerful of them became concerned. Those with authority and influence sought to protect their endangered brethren. So the first Homes were created. Safe havens, protected by wealth, stature and above all, power. For hundreds of years, the majority of the magical community sought refuge there, and over time these Homes spread to new lands. The creatures of the world became myth, though no one knows how this happened. Now, in the year 2022, a home has established itself. Adopting to the times, it has taken on the form of a gated community. Each resident there has secrets, humans in the know and creature alike. Whether it be a desire for tranquility, a need to hide, or simply a place to retire, this community welcomes all who have decency in their heart.

The staff of Broken Sword welcome you to the most secure gated community in North America. Our security is top notch and available 24/7, as are our member services. We offer several amenities such as a tennis court, community pool, jacuzzi and a theater that can be rented out by our residents. We pride ourselves on having the latest in amenities. If there is something a resident requires, our specialists are happy to acquire it, within reason. Each Home is catered to the specific client and has special features for each of our treasured neighbors. From solar and lunar shielding on the windows, reinforced walls and doors, to fully stocked panic rooms, our service strives to meet the needs of every resident.

1. Be respectful to everyone, and follow the rules of RPN.
2. No gods or demigods. Feel free to be creative with your choices, though all characters must be approved by me.
3. Realistic FC's only
4. At least one paragraph per post of reasonable English.
5. OOC will be done on the Discord, and I will send links as characters are approved.
