Fandom Boku no Hero: Peace Sign Academia IC

Kirin Kirigiri
Auditorium
9:02AM

It felt refreshing to go to a school filled with abnormal people, differing from shape and size. It seemed like it was a special or somewhat special day for the academy. Kirin kirigiri felt ready for what peace sign had in stores for this year, surely this would be a good year. He felt a little nervous, and a little rush of enthusiasm coming from him this evening. The auditorium was quite filled with new faces, faces he never seen before at least in his early childhood. Considering he didn't come across good people back then, more or less just people who'd want to pick on kirin and how some can describe him as a sissy or just the type that doesn't want to deal with conflict. But in a world like this, you'll expect a lot of unnecessary violence among others, and the road to become a pro hero will be as rough and, bumpy.

When he thinks about people and odd figures, he wasn't joking. The teacher was a good explanations, is she really the teacher? Sitting on the chair, kirin had his right leg crossed over to his left leg. His purple asymmetrical styled hair had been slightly pushed away from kirin right eye in order, to have full view of the auditorium and, all the students and staff from within. After listening to whatever they had to say and, how much they'd appreciate having us here. It was at the moment they announced the students ranks and, led them into the combat room. Only the top 3 were to be fighting the teacher, but what does fighting the teacher have to do with anything? Might just want to test them, for whatever reason and, kirin just have to watch as he sat on the benches like the rest of the students and, observe the action that he didn't really care about.

Just some where eager to see much of the fight and, hope for a good performance and, explain what was the meaning of showing us how capable the teacher is. Despite looking like a mere child, kirin pondered about her age, logically she'd be older than what she looks like. His father could treat her like if she was a child if he wanted to, but he's sometimes too drunk or careless to deal with kids by himself. Not too mention having kirin to, he wouldn't like that.

9:00 A.M

After half an hour of doing warm ups, Kuba eventually notices the other students attention being directed at the principle. He makes his way to the combat room and takes a seat, where he was then told of the ranking list and other rules and regulations. Speaking of the ranking, he recalled being in the top ten out of the 72 students. His mind filled with joy as he couldn't believe that he managed to get that far into the ranks. However his true goal in life was to become a hero and also become the strongest, which of course means aiming for the top. He would have to train more then ever if he wanted to better improve himself.

After calming himself down, he pulls out from his duffle bag a large bento box containing steak, a large amount of rice, and some veggies. He gives a small thanks in prayers and starts to chow down and looks to the three top ranking students. To be ranked one of the top 3 must've taken much training for these fellow students to achieve. Suddenly a malicious aura was suddenly appearing right next to him, as he looked to his right to see the girl sitting next to him was clearly angered about something. Her eye's seemed to be fixated on the 3 students. Most likely she was upset on not being able to prove her worth and being established as one of the best. "If you are upset about not being the best, do not fret over it.....You'll have many opportunities to prove yourself like the rest of us." Kuba takes another bite off of his steak while adding some rice and bell peppers on top of one of the ends.

After finally sitting down on one of the combat room benches, Masaru took a closer look at Tokage. Even though he was mildly excited about what was about to happen, he couldn’t help but feel pretty envious towards his friend. She was about to have all the fun herself, and he had to sit there and do essentially nothing. It’s not like he was aching to beat up some little children, but doing something would be a nice change of pace, and it would surely benefit the the students to have their self-confidence reduced by quite a bit. He could only hope that Beauty Beast will do a good job at it. Well, given her personality, I’ll be in for quite the show. A slight grin appeared on his face, but it disappeared after he heard Yori’s retort. “Well, maybe not, but I can't smoke here anyway...”

The top three students finally entered the scene. The baldy, the rich girl and the… boygirl. The start of the fight was even worse than their appearance. Two idiots charging at a teacher, completely uncovered, while the girl is chanting some bullshit… What a complete waste of time. He started massaging his temples. Please punish them, Tokage. And as to answer his prayers, the teacher fighting the students suddenly changed her form into a lizard-like atrocity, towering over the kids. “Ahh! There she goes!” He almost shouted excitedly.

Mizuki "Mizu" Suimma
Combat Room
9:00 AM
Suimma.png Mizuki had struggled to make his way to the auditorium, the halls had just been too crowded to slip past people in his way. Typically he would have ducked and squeezed his way through the waves of people but today was different. Being the first day of school the hallways had been thrown into chaos. Nonetheless, Mizuki had made it to the assembly in one physical and mental piece. Letting out a breath of relief, Mizuki took a seat beside two strangers. He didn't know anyone yet, and he hadn't been planning to make conversation with anyone, save for the occasional chat with his roommates.

Mizuki watched the principal's announcements with mild interest. He seemed like a fierce, yet a kind person, the headmaster. His speech, however, were just words to Mizuki. In one ear and out the other, his mother would say to him. However, Mizuki was sure to pay attention when the principal introduced the top 3 students. Tarou Sasaki, Dea November, and Shiri Itami. Mizuki wondered if he could ever rank as high as any of them. Mizuki was ranked 30th, which wasn't that bad when you thought about it. If half of 72 is 36, then that would mean he was in the better half of the leaderboards, right? Mizuki wondered just how far he'd get in the rankings before he graduated, assuming he didn't drop down by that time.

Mizuki's was slightly surprised when the principal announced those three would be fighting a teacher. While he wasn't one to underestimate people, Mizuki couldn't fathom how those three could defeat the teacher. They may be the highest in the rankings, but that didn't mean anything when up against an experienced pro hero, even if she did go easy on them. As the fight began and the students began their assault on their teacher, Mizuki couldn't force himself to look away for a minute. "Wow," Was the only word that came to mind that could describe this spectacle. They might not be capable of winning, but they would put up a good fight.

Riba Hone
The Top Three
9:00
Location: Combat Room
Riba sat in her seat with one leg atop the other, seeing the rest of the students looking through the mirror of the combat room. She had hoped that they were going to be the ones fighting but it was rather the top three which made her scowl. She felt slightly angry at the fact she didn't even breach the top 10 in ranking and spent some time contemplating about it. It was probably due to her brash reactions at the exam. She had gotten the best of herself and it might have costed her a higher rank. Also the fact the bird girl did most of the carrying didn't help her assumption. "Shit." She cursed softly to herself, believing the decisions at the exam had costed her a spot.

Riba watched as the teacher was called into the combat room. It felt odd seeing a tiny teacher though not too surprising as this same problem was with their principal. The teacher was suppose to fight against the three strongest students and it seemed slightly unfair. However, she knew that the principal wouldn't call the teacher up just to be a punching bag. If this woman helped in the making of the school and was trusted to fight against the top three, she had to have some edge to her. That's when she saw the three that would face her and in her opinion, they were very underwhelming. However, she did get curious of the feminine looking boy but it was simple curiosity. It made her wonder more how bad she was that these three were her competition. Though she stopped herself from assuming too early on, while they didn't look too powerful, perhaps their quirks or combat skills were the opposite.

Even if she wasn't at their level yet, she could take notes here. If she studied the top three, she could probably find weaknesses or advantages to exploit in the near future. She caught a lot right at the start with the more talkative girl seeming to start a light attack along with the other two just charging right at the teacher. An audible sigh escaped her lips at the sloppiness of them all. They didn't plan anything and she was already thinking of ways to stop them in battle. The one charging her attack could be easily stopped by a simple hit and the other two could be either dodged or an offensive attack could counter it. The bald boy seemed to have a fatal flaw in the form of a shrinking torso, leading her to believe it could be fragile. Then the teacher shot a gust of wind, blowing her away from the rest. Could it be some kind of air pressure quirk? The rebreather around her neck made some sense if that was the case.

Her belief that the teacher was stronger than she looked was correct as she moved through the air and had thrown one of the boys at the other two. However, what made her curious was when the woman seemed to expand in size to something almost dragon-like. She started wondering more what this woman's quirk was to cause such a change. Riba was beginning to admire the teachers fighting style and her made to kill sort of attitude; it made her wonder how this woman became a hero. That's when the other three finally decided to work together though still with the sloppiness from before. The girl yelling for the other two to go for the rebreather around the teachers face with the boy trying to be a distraction. While their attempts seemed like a bold decision, even she knew the battle would end soon with the teacher on top.

"Howdy!"
A voice suddenly popped into Bunny's little bubble as someone she faintly recognised but not quite appeared before her. "Heya! Nice to meet you." She grinned, making a small bit of small-talk as she bided time to think of something to say. "I'm Bunny Carstaires, have we met? You look familiar.." the pale blond asked with a soft smile and wide, bright, red eyes as her long ears twitched on the top of her head in the bright light of the main hallways before they all seemed to move into this "Battle room" and they were told about watching a fight between the top three students. Bunny had managed to grip her nameless conversation partner's hand and procured them two seats to watch the fight, but thought she wasn't going to pay all too much attention to them as they would probably just demoralise her with what she was going to be put up against.

"Pleasure to meet you!" She said once more as they appeared to settle down on their new seats. "Now 'en, what's your name so I can forget it again?" The new pupil joked with a large smile and a light-hearted giggle as her hair bounced around behind her from the laugh.

    PRESENT DAY
    9:18 A.M.
PEACE SIGN ACADEMY - THE COMBAT ROOM

The nauseating smell of food wafted into her senses, disturbing her from her inner tirade. Looking over at the person next to her, she scoffs in response, covering her nose as she scoots further away. Unfortunately for her, the boy noticed her and began talking to her. She raises her brow at him, not taking his words lightly. Did this guy really think he had the right mind to even speak to her about whatever? "Excuse me? Are you insinuating that I'm not good enough? Because I'll have you know that I am in a totally different league from you and everyone else here. You do not have the right to lecture me about 'proving myself'," she adds in the air quotes to further her argument. When she had nothing else to stay, she turned her attention to a large amount of food he had brought into the room and was now eating. With her voice raised just a little bit, she points to the bento and continues her rant. "Who the fuck brings that much food on the first day, and eats it when we're supposed to be watching those losers fight the teacher? Are you a dumbass or what?"

Quite literally, her face was red in vexation, and if her quirk worked differently, there would have been steam fuming from her ears. Lián felt no shred of remorse for letting loose on a boy who was only trying to make her feel better, but whether the circumstance or situation, she would have never appreciated the words anyways. Her eyes glance from the boy to a couple seats down, just casually raking her gaze across the competition. It was about of habit, Lián would remember doing so before every wushu tournament. She almost regrets doing so, because her eyes land on one person, in particular, she didn't want to see, especially now. Sure, the times spent being cruel and strong-arming the girl from middle school was fun, especially with her gaggle of friends, but just being at the same high school again felt offending to Lián. This whole time she had still been tapping her foot, but the moment she spotted Riba Hone, the knocking stopped and she almost freezes altogether. "Oh that bitch really wants her ass beat, doesn't she?" She says, loud enough for the boy sitting next to her to hear.

Avery's grin seemed to widen at the fact the girl knew somewhat about him though it would make sense why it was such a blur. He rubbed the back of his head while trying to explain why he was here. "Well, you see, I kinda fell in front of you a couple weeks ago and I believe ya helped me up. It was mighty kind!" It was nice to have someone to talk to right off the bat in such a foreign place. He wanted to say his name but was swept away with the rest of the kids into the combat room. He would have gotten lost if it wasn't for Bunny who grabbed him by the hand and got them seats.

Avery watched the students go onto the stage and that stary look appeared again. Knowing these were the top of the class made him want to work harder for his goal of being a hero. That's when he turned back to Bunny.
"My name is Avery Baburu, likewise!" Avery tried to match the other girls smile, his eyes catching a glimpse of the fight. The teacher seeming to transform into a giant monstrous lizard. "Wow that's a powerful quirk right there." That's when his gaze shifted back to Bunny. "Sorry if this is personal, but may I ask what is your quirk? Must be something powerful to get you here."

Riba was leaning forward at this point, resting her head on her hand. She hadn't had much sleep since the announcement whether it be planning for her hero suit or writing in her journal, she spent many nights doing what she naturally did, working. She knew that she couldn't sleep during the battle and decided to look over at the other students that had come in an attempt to stay awake.

Riba's eyes went from student to student, not really seeing anyone of interest. It figures she was the only one to apply, most people at her old school probably went on to U.A. or failed their hero exam. However, that's when a sound caught her ears. It was faint but still there, her head swung over her shoulder to the source of it....she wish she didn't do that. That's when she saw her. Lián Shimizu, the bane of her existence. Riba's eyes seemed to dilate and the expression of boredom turned to one of anger and hatred. The girl who harassed through all through middle school had applied here and found her again. She could feel her skin start to tense, as if she couldn't handle the mere sight of the wicked bitch of the west. Her fist seemed to curl and crack as she mouthed a few words. "That fucking bitch!" She gritted her teeth, just staring in pure anger at Lián and without Kuma to stop her....she could finally settle it with the monster behind it all. This could be a fun year.

Kuba was a bit taken back by the girls response, she obviously had the shortest temper that he had ever laid he eye's on. But he didn't take it personally and decided to ignore her aggressive posture. However he was laughing in the inside as he took note that the girl was steaming red with frustration for some reason, but his face was stern. Too be honest Kuba was not confident in his social skills, but noticing those who have a passion to prove to others that they were the strongest is something he could easily relate to and understand. ".....Sorry if I have offended you, I was just making sure that you understand that I do not consider whatever your quirk is to be useless. But rather has much room to grow.......Isn't that a reason for why you are here?"

He quickly finishes up whatever food he had left and wiped his mouth with a napkin, giving a small light burp while also covering his mouth with his hand, "Scuse me." He goes on to watch the students and suddenly a chill went up his spine as the girl next to him clearly stated her hatred to one of the students. She obviously had some sort of pure hatred for one of them, he then turned his attention back to the three students and suddenly noticed one of them giving the same similar look that the girl next to him was giving. He was worried that this girl was about to leap from her bench and pounce on the student. "Ummmm.........I'm assuming that you know her?"

Shiri Itami, Combat Room
0916 Hours, Waste Engine - 00:47 Remaining
Quite literally, Shiri had the ground swept from beneath him. In the midst of his swing the air exploded in front of him not only blowing his arm clear out of his swing, but sending him, taken off-guard and overconfident, tumbling down to his knees. Buckling from the blow, the sight he beheld as he got his head back into the game wasn't a reassuring one. His teacher had gone and turned herself into a dragon.

So now the fight was going to be between mythical creatures, huh? East versus West?

Man, that joke was way too nerdy for him to be thinking of.

Gritting his teeth at the situation, he realized his plan had gone awry. The three of them going all out, he was so sure that was going to put the little girl they'd had them fight five feet under, but now there she was bloated to the size of a bodybuilder and covered in two hundred pounds of scales, claws, and bloodlust. In comparison, here he was running on fumes. That wind gust of hers had helped with the overheating issue, but he didn't exactly he much to work with here. He'd blown his 'breakfast' already and he didn't exactly have anything to top up the tanks, he couldn't speak for the baldy or goldie, but if this fight didn't end soon then he was screwed. There was no time for fancy plays or devious tactics, only one course of action remained.

He'd take the girl's advice and smash that rebreather like it was his mother's favorite teapot. She was charging right at them and he was ready to spring. Whether she dodged their next attack or it connected, she'd be distracted for a moment, and in that moment he'd spring, tear the rebreather from her face, and then crush it under his heel.

Alex patiently holds his head as he continues to watch the fight. Out of the corner of his eyes, however, he watched the other teachers, observing anything he could pick out from them. The two that caught his eyes the most was Subliminal and the Principal. They did not waver at all, which was troublesome for Alex. His eyes wandered, looking for any sign that he could slip out, but it seemed as though the pro heroes were looking everywhere, not leaving any exit unattended. Maybe if he could make an excuse...
As he thought that, he looked down at the battlefield once more, and he could see that the three students were starting to understand the situation. It wasn't a battle for them to win. It was a battle for the students to understand that the rumors about these pros being "amateurs" was false. He slipped another energy drink out of his pockets as he chugged it again, this time quietly setting the empty can next to him.
"These three might be the top of the school now, the ranking were strictly taken under how you would manage with a lack of nutrients in your body. I doubt those three would still be the top. "

  • "Oh, we're talking about ranks?" I asked upon overhearing part of their conversation. My eyes were still glued to the stage, as I tried to figure out what the quirks of all the soon-to-be fighters had. The voices next to me sounded a little familiar, but I couldn't put my finger on who they were yet. "I got somehow placed eight. I'm really glad I saw bullyman there, or I would never have been able to carry anywhere near that many mannequins! How did you do it? You should have seen bullyman lifitng those ro-"

As I finnally turned around, I realized exactly who it was I was talking to: That stoic expression, that scruffy black hair, Akashi Park in person. I froze mid-speech, and wondered if I'd just stepped on a landmine. Akashi wasn't a bad guy. Not in the slightest. Most of the time. Specifically, in the times in which I didn't mention Bullyman. Probably something about bullies, or maybe their families had something with each other, or maybe something else. It was best not to get too deep into those things. People have their privacy, so what right did I have to peek into it? Besides, if it was the family thing I would be buried for looking it up. I heard the Yakuza were still around.

And just to make things worse, right next to him was a certain girl by the name of Atsuhi Junsou. We'd only met once, stopping a thief from robbing a lady. Fortunately I didn't actually hurt him with my quirk, but merely used it as a distraction and a couple of kicks bought enough time for real help to arrive. I still got a talking to from the police, though, and my mom got wind of it. I shivered just with the memory. Ever since then I had gained an admirer who would take every opportunity to profess it. How was I supposed to take that? What did I do to deserve it? I mean, I liked it, I loved having an admirer, but... me? After that? Just...that? . Put the two people together, after I just talked about Bullyman getting a near rank 8... How would she react to my suddenly frozen posture? What would she say when she saw my eyes going back and forth between her and Akashi? How would she see the hands showing like a gun was being pointed at me, and what would her reaction be to my smile that struggled the same excited wideness it had just a moment prior?

"A-a-a-A-kun...! Yo-you're, you're in the P-PSA too? And you, Junsou-chan? I had no idea." I slowly placed my hands on my lap and nervously turned towards the fight that was taking place in the combat room, only to realize I just made a mistake. I almost jumped on A-kun, wvaings my hands in front of my face frenetically "I didn't mean it in THAT way though, I-I'm sure you were really impressive there, on the exam! M-maybe they just were not looking right?"

I inadvertedly found myself thinking about everything I was missing right now. The wonderful fight between teacher and top students. I could hear others commenting about how she turned into a dragon, and I wanted to watch that so badly! But right now, I couldn't really focus, despite my eyes darting back and forth. No choice but to jump back to what he said now, I supposed.

" But why would they even need to make us fear them? Aren't teachers supposed to be juust respected? Aren't we supposed to become heroes? A-kun... are you saying we're nothing special?" It was a sad thing to say, really. I couldn't even help but pout a bit.

  • Despite the instructions to watch the fight, I just kept observing the other student instead, tail waggling slowly. I observed the some fine features, slim but not too much, just an outline of the bone and some fine cheeks below the flowing black hair (or it could just be a really dark color) and that saucy remaining smell , sinking every detail, taking in his face with a hopeful grin. I mean, he had brought room to classes! And he didn't get scolded! He had to be some kind of genius, last time I even tried I got scolded. And the time before that. And the one before. I think I got scolded for bringing food every other class, looking back. But they always made classes so loooooooong! Of course I got hungry! Of course I brought food! Of course I ate the frog we were dissecting!

I mean, it was just laying there, open and meaty, already with an utensil set up anyway, and some napkins next to it, it was pratically begging me to eat it! No else wanted it, so I went ahead and helped myself. And then, who knew, I got scolded. Of course I would cry. Mommy had always taught me not to waste food, and there it was, food, laying on the table, but they got angry when I had it. I tried explaining nobody wanted it, but they weren't even listening!

"You're nice, did you know that, Setso-kun? Giving me treats, letting me call you by your first name right away... You're a good boy!" I reached out a hand to pat his head, smiled, then lowered it. I would be rude of me to be looking at the box of food instead of him, so I just kept hoping there was more. And low and behold, dreams DID come true! After a short question I barely registred, the boy bumped by shoulder a little, and handed me the box. It still had food. More than I expected even. I couldn't contain myself but to try to lick his chin, pratically jumping at him. "Really? This is... for me? Thank you Setso-kun, I could marry you right now!"

I looked to see if there were any spare utensils, but I couldn't find any. Oh well, sometimes you just can't help it. I raised my hands and scooped up a bunch, shoving it into my mouth and filling it like a squirl worried about why everyone is saying that "winter is here". I happilly munched, my smile contained only by the need to keep things in my mouth.

"Thbank you zo mwuch, Zetcho-kum! Iz upper yummys!" I said, bits of food flying everywhere. Some people were starting to complain, and I gave them a glare before remembering the fight and what Setsuo had asked me. "I bope she pus, I woub wibe bu eaeu it."

I smile at Koinu-chan as she ate some of my food, not too worried if I didn't eat it all like I normally do. I smile at her complements as I let her pat my head and call me a "good boy", knowing that it was her way of calling me a "nice guy". I wondered to myself briefly if she used dog lingo often, before realizing that time probably held the answer.
"Don't mention it man. I got plenty to go around between the two of us. ... Wait, what did you just say?" I ask her, thinking she had just said something about marriage, but I was too late. She had already begun chowing down and I turned my attention to the fight, taking out my bottle of Bone Broth, popping open the cap and downing some of it, keeping a close eye on the fight before closing the lid.
I half hear Koinu-chan speaking, and I turn to her, confused as to what she said. "Uh... y-yeah. Anyway, who do you think'll win?" I asked her hoping that she would swallow her mouthful before speaking, but not entirely expecting it. She is an animal... human... thing after all.

Jesse sat in the combat room as he'd be instructed. By no means had he been in the top of his class, but at a moment like this he wished he had. Not because he wanted to show off, no it was because of the multiple other students in the room. At least in a spar he wouldn't need to focus on anything other than his opponent. Knowing him he'd screw that simple task up as well...Remaining tense, he tried to focus on the fight, but he couldn't help it. It felt like he was being stared at. He probably wasn't in all honesty, but he couldn't resist a glance over his shoulder. Pulling out an earbud, he slipped it in his right ear and began playing some music quietly. That helped a bit. Now he could focus on that instead of the strangers who surrounded him. Leaning forward, he rested his elbow on his knee, propping his chin on a hand. Jesse's foot began to lightly tap against the ground, following the rhythm of his music. The story is apparently very complex, following a young child as her parents begin to drift apart due to each's own seperate vices. Of course it wasn't the child's fault, but as any child of divorce could tell you, it felt that way. Personally he didn't know the feeling. But he did understand it. Hell, he apologized for everything. Even when he had nothing to do with the event's unfortunate circumstance.

"I'm a nutcase..."
Mumbling under his breath, he couldn't help the bitter smile that flickered across his face for a moment. Yep, he was a nutcase. But at least he tried hard to help people, no matter how crazy he thought he may be.

Mouth of The Dragon

Location: Combat Room
"Smart." That was one of the few words going through her mind as the three seemed to finally start to try and work together. However, she could tell they were running out of ideas if they thought going right for the mouth was a good plan in the heat of battle. Each of the students came back, charging in with their own attacks. The girl taking her hit head on, and the bald boy went above. Tokage could feel the strength of the punch coming from Dea and while it wasn't intimidating, she could tell that some potential lied underneath. A crack formed on the side of the teachers mouth, another gust of wind being released in order to dodge the oncoming boy from above. Her movements seemed to become even faster as she swerved, though her size decrease ever so slightly.

She was about to attack again when she saw Itami decide to rip off her mask and crush it underneath his foot. Everything seemed to freeze at that moment, a mixture of fear and worry started to appear on the teachers face. Her gaze turned cold and her mouth dropped as if she had finally felt crushing defeat. Tokage took a step back to watch the boy in horror. Tears started to form underneath her eyes...though only for a second. That's when the drooping frown turned into a toothy grin, revealing the many jagged teeth that lay underneath the rebreather. The false fear turned into a face of mockery and pity. Tokage didn't even look very much fazed by the crushing, though her wallet would probably feel it later.

The claws came right back as she had another plan in store for these top three. She would grab Itami's head along with Tou and attempt to throw them in the middle right into Dea, maybe that could get them all to fall. The teacher seemed to show no hesitation in her plan and in fact, the deranged smile seemed to shine even brighter then before. In the heat of the moment, her gaze turned to the glass, wondering what the many faces felt after watching the the monster come out and play with the students.

"Wow!" I muttered with happiness. I was watching the fight the best I could, stretching my neck really hard, but and smiling at every peek I managed to get. I wondered if I would ever be able to be like the teacher that just turned into a lizard. She was going up against the three top students, and yet she was still a badass, a teacher who looked like a little girl, just like I did. I was so happy and so excited I could have cried, and it was hard staying still in my seat. I barely knew that girl, but to me she was an icon. And maybe I could even really become like her one day. I did manage to reach twelth place, after all. I smiled to myself, but then sighed. I wished I had heard that teacher's name better, but the voice was kind of muffled by everyone else's legs. It was like being surrounded by this big blue or black forest.

Next to me, someone began playing music. It wan't very loud of anything, but I was sitting right next to this boy, and it made it even harder to hear what was going on on the other side of the combat room. I thought about giving him a little nudge so he'd stop the music, but I didn't. That would be mean of me to do. There was only one way now, jus stretching myself wouldn't be enough. I pulled up my legs, then put them on the bench and got up on the bench, struggling a little for balance. I breathed a sigh of relief when I did recover that balance, until the boy said something about being "a nutcase". There was no doubt about what I had to do.

"That's not true!" I told him, half-whispering, half shouting. "I don't know wha you're thinking or who you are, or why you called yourself a nutcase, but you have to believe in yourself. We're here to become heroes, aren't we? Heroes should inspire others to feel hope too! Am I wrong? I am right, right? Right?"

The battle was starting off better than I expected. Even if the exam wasn't perfect, it was easy to tell why these were the top three. They were applying their knowledge and taking the innitiative upon realizing the obvious threat. Compared to some examples in the exam itself, this kind of attitude was much more effective, seeing as they had no choice but to engage my former sidekick in combat. Frankly, I felt a little sorry for them, but it had to be done. We might be pros, but we were by the bottom of the barrel. Some of us lacked pure combat ability, others the presence of a hero. Some of us were driven into the shadow by our past sins, only to crawl back out of it, and be barred entry into the full sunlight. Some of us were imprecise, some of us too niche. The principal, however, believed us to share two things: A noble spirit of self-sacrifice despite the rejection of the public eye. This, of course, probably included some, or who knows, many of the students in the room. We had something to prove, that we had something to offer.

As I watched Beauty Beast trigger her quirk to turn into a lizard monster, I had to give myself props for the design of the room. In each seat, regardless of how far back, the fight was still just as clear, and the echo was so perfect I could pratically tell what they were saying inside the combat room, and what the mutters nearby were. There was something a little offsetting though, music? It was hard to tell maybe just a bird outside. I was gonna look to the window behind me, when I saw a student peek their head out of their row, looking around , in particular to the principal and turning all the way to me, before retreating back into their seat. I raised an eyebrow inside the armor. Did he need something? I stood and headed down, but a new sound distracted me in one of the rows by whcih I passed. I turned to the student in question, one who had an earbud on and was tapping his foot. He was sitting on Mitsutada's row, so I lightly tapped their shoulder before raising a finger towards the student listening to music.

"You! You should not be listening to music in the middle of class. Pay attention to the fight as instructed. Otherwise myself or Mitsutada-san here will have to take your earbuds and phone." I told him. "I'll be returning here shortly."

I made my way back to my seat, forgetting the reason I came down to begin with.

Setsuo Nikuruisu

Before I have time to react, Koinu-chan had already taken my words to heart and decided to prove me very, VERY wrong. She grabbed her... chest and squished it together. Never in my life would I think my face would get that red, or hot for that matter, but little did I know I would be proven very, VERY wrong. After that little scene I turned back to the fight, my face still red and the image of Koinu-chan pushing her chest together had burned itself into my eyes against my own wishes.
"Uh... yeah, I think the student'll live-- I mean win too." My head was going to dark places with this match. "And sorry about the mean question. Didn't mean to put you on the spot too much." I said to her, knowing full well that it wasn't that hard of a question.
I look at Koinu-chan once I hear an "Ow!" come from her, before I see her holding her tongue out at me with a spot of blood on it. "Gross. Wait, what? How did you make yourself bleed?" I say before catching a glimpse of a scale on her finger. I was perplexed for a moment, before thinking that maybe this is a part of her Quirk too. I wouldn't have enough time to ask the question, seeing as how Koinu-chan asks me a question, one I don't know the answer too, the other I know the answer too all too well.
"U-uh, I would think so. As for your second question, me and water never really got along too well..." I say with a bit of shame in my voice.

Ringo-chan.%28Haegiwa%29.full.2079498.jpg

At the moment, Junsou was a bit proud of herself. She was switching her attention from Akashi to Akacha to the battle. She was doing quite well in her own opinion. She was able to hear Akashi saying that he ranked 34th which was still great but she wondered how he felt given how confident he was. For a split second, she was worried that her coming in 4th would be problematic but she immediately perished the thought. Junsou was confident the ranking wouldn't tamper their friendship. They weren't that childish. At least, she's sure they aren't.

For a moment, Junsou turned her gaze towards the fight as she listened in to Akashi. She was internally grateful she got just fourth. If she got higher, which she doubts with all her heart, she'd just be a nuisance. She wouldn't know what to do and would probably just stand there, dumbfounded. Still, Junsou was amazed and Barun-sensei's transformation. She probably had a shape-shifting Quirk or something along those lines. Once again, Junsou felt amazed. She nodded her head silently to what Akashi said even though she couldn't pay attention to his whole speech.

Junsou eyes trailed to Akacha's when she heard her talking, a smile slowly forming behind the mouth mask. So she got 8th, which was amazing although Junsou did feel kind of bad for Akashi. 34th wasn't a bad rank but he was sitting in between two people who rank in two ten. Even if he didn't feel mad, he's still feel... not good. Akacha started talking about the exam and about 'Bullyman', someone Junsou didn't know about. Probably a friend of hers or maybe a temporary partner like her and Shiri. However, when Akacha's eyes landed on Akashi, she seemed to have froze which caused Junsou to tilt her head slightly.

Junsou was aware of how Akashi acted so seeing someone freeze at the sight of him wasn't new but she couldn't help but wonder what's the exact cause. It seemed like they knew each other and from Junsou could see, they weren't on relatively bad terms. Maybe they fought each other once or maybe Akashi just caused a bad impression on their fist meeting. Either way, she was curious now.

The crowd was getting more rowdy and Junsou wanted to look but her attention was gain by Akacha as she started speaking again albeit in a tone less cheery than before. Junsou could see her eyes switching between Akashi and herself. Judging by her words, they knew each other. Again, a sense of curiosity washed over her mind. Junsou looked at Akashi and Akacha and then Akashi again. Rather than torturing herself, she decided to just ask.

"Nice to see you again, senpai. You know Park-kun?" Although her last sentence seemed like a statement, her tone indicated it was a question. Obviously, wanting to know how and when without actually saying it. Junsou decided to not use her phone since Akacha was kind of far. Besides, she was sure she was feeling completely neutral. Just in case, she kept her words relatively short.

Hearing Akacha's last statement, Junsou couldn't help but mentally winced. Mainly because it was kind of true to her. Again, her attention shifted to the fight. She paid half-attention to it as she contemplated her words. Even Junsou wasn't sure herself but she respect the teachers because they were just that, teachers. Also since they're Pro Heroes. They protect and save people, how could she not? But she knew that everyone was different and different people have different opinions. Some might be arrogant. Some might think they're ready to face Villains. Some might think they're better than even the teachers themselves. This fight might be to strike fear and respect to those kinds of people because even the top three can't beat one teacher let alone you kind of thing. Or maybe she's thinking too much and instead of striking fear, it's to strike motivation and hope so the students will want to be like the teachers and even be more than them. That made Junsou wonder if she will ever be able to to do that. To be more than the teachers or at least herself. Will she ever?

Junsou stopped thinking too deeply when she saw blue gas. She was leaking. Groaning silently, she sucked it back in. This was why she avoided deep thought. It let to unpleasant emotions. Shaking her head, Junsou started giving her full attention to the fight while waiting on either of their replies. She wasn't sure what happened but Barun-sensei's rebreather wasn't on her anymore. Instead it was smashed on the ground probably by Shiri. This whole scene baffled her. One, because Shiri actually managed to get that close to her. Two, because of Barun-sensei's expression. She looked horrified. Why? Was the rebreather than crucial? Did they actually beat her?

The questions perished when she saw that Barun-sensei's expression was an act and honestly, Junsou felt incredibly silly for doubting her and even thinking those questions. She could see she was charging straight towards the three and she didn't seem like she was playing around. She was worried but she decided to put some faith in the school and it's teachers. Maybe they'd get injured but not that bad. Surely.

Jesse Anderson

Time- 9h17

Jesse jumped as he heard the girl next to him speak up about his self-deprecating comment. He felt his face heating up as she spoke with such fervor. Jesse had been about to comment back when someone else spoke. A teacher. Turning off his phone, he removed the earbuds with a quiet apology. Turning to look at the girl next to him, he tried to focus on her instead of the returning weight of anxieties. It was a futile effort. The anxieties would simply lurk like a cloud until his mind was less distracted.

He began rambling to the girl beside him, unable to stop his urge to apologize for making her feel like she needed to cast some attention on his existence. He didn't want to upset her by simply not apologizing.. But what if talking to her was offensive? Jesse did his best to stop overthinking as he simply let himself talk.

"Um, thank you...I apologize for making you take your attention off of the combat. I didn't mean to bother you. But since we've already begun talking, I'm Jesse Anderson. Uh, you can just call me Jesse. I mean- um that's only if you want to. I don't want to force anything on you that may make it awkward. I'm probably making it awkward. Am I talking too much? I feel like I'm talking too much. It's just that you sounded so confident in what you said and-....i'll stop talking now. I'm sorry."

Jesse's face was a shade pinker than it had been, as embarrassment flooded his body. He looked forward, trying to calm his mind. Why did he always manage to fuck something up? A simple introduction and he can't manage that!
He was such an idiot..

'Whoa' are one of words that sprinted inside of Kuma's mind as he looked the group of students try to deal out a great deal of damage towards the teacher only for them to be pressed back by the dominating power of Ms. Barūn as she showed them her quirk which was a transformation based on a dragon or large lizard/reptile. Putting his right fist into left hand which he repeatable clench as he tried to calm his rage that continually begun to rise as Kuma want to fight something, that teacher was something that he had a desire to crunch but he knew that he need to train for a great deal and hope that his quirk experiences a mutation....or several...actually maybe twenty if he didn't get an increase in power from the training provide at PSA.

He knew that the top three are strong but have intelligence/skill in combat combine with their talent and potential growth made them be at the top, Kuma knew that he is at their level but his lack of combat training and lack of hero-like attitude made him one of the students that were incredible close. A bloodthristy grin came as the students continued to try their best to push the teacher and possible beat her but they didn't have that much of a choice despite their newfound teamwork while he thought in his mind 'They are working out the kinks in their teamwork but their strength individual makes it impossible to win, possible if they had more knowledge of Ms. Barūn's quirk and could've made a well form plan of how to fight her.....they would've had a tiny chance..... I wonder how it would've been if i was fighting with them? I'd pissed off that overgrown fat lizard with my constant attacks so the others could piece Ms's hide.' Slamming his temple so he could refocus on the battle only for one thing to distract....Lian.

Kuma's grin became shark-like combine with the Joker from the legendary comic book villain made in america which he had a great interest in when he was younger, his eyes appeared like that they were almost complete closed but a little bit out. Happiness of annoying her and possible throw her around brought great joy to him, helping her out when she didn't want it was also something that was awesome as well but he watched her eyes lock onto someone that Kuma knew as well...Riba...'FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!' ran inside of his skull like a crazy rat chasing after a massive piece of cheese float away from it. Suddenly he spoke to himself "Just perfect, another couple of years dealing with my "sisters!" Alot of people would see a gigantic boy ready to rip the entire room apart which was correct as he slammed his head right onto the desk before him and as result, caused it to be smash apart by the power of simple headbutt but the two girls who knew that this boy was more than ready to handle any fights that they might cause.

Alex looked over as he saw Subliminal look at him, keeping his eyesight away from the largely armored teacher. He watched as the teacher lost sight of what he needed to do in the first place, giving Alex a bit more confidence to sneak out. Suddenly, he hears a large boy smash his head into the desk. Alex raised his eyebrows, wondering how much more abnormal this place could get. Using this distraction, Alex looked over at both Octavia and Toujou, making sure neither of them were noticing him. Cranking his quirk to it's max potential, Alex suddenly flashes away, and due to the distance from him to the door, was basically invisible to the untrained naked eye as he quickly exited the room.

He looked around the empty hallway, his eyes scanning around as he assessed his situation. He knew he could get into some real trouble for this, but he had no choice. If Alex didn't stay proactive... He looked down the hallway before continuing to walk down, making sure he wasn't being followed. This was a perfect time to collect some information. Maybe if he could get to some sort of information room or an office...
His eyes trailed down the hallway as he kept walking, looking for any indication of an office, hoping for some files on the teachers. If he knew about the teachers, it would make information collecting easy.

The ground quivered ever so slightly yet again, and Octavia could feel it clearly through her cane. She was using the technique, her father taught her after watching some document about it. She had her walking stick placed on the ground, between her legs, with her head (ear, more specifically) resting on the handle. She has counted 3 big tremors so far, and about 4 lighter ones. The sound of steps was muffled, but it would be possible for her to deduce the participants position based on that. It WOULD be possible if not for the constant murmur and hushed talking of other students, so she was left with Tou’s commentary and constant earth-shakes. As far as she could tell, her previous train of thought was correct; the students will lose. However, there was a thing that she found very curious. Makoto told her, that the teacher turned into a giant lizard-like monstrosity, but her steps were just as light and quiet as before. She truly is a powerful Hero.

„Their strategy wasn’t bad, but they would need more speed and power to execute it properly. It’s a hopeless situation. Barun-sensei’s quirk is powerful in hand-to-hand combat and the gusts of air can quickly counter ranged attacks… If I had to fight, I could only hope to land a hit on her throat and solar plexus, or to simply strangle her, and with both of those options being almost impossible to execute… I would surely lose.” Octavia spoke slowly and with consideration for every word, but at the end, she smiled to relief the atmosphere. That smile however, wasn’t a genuine one, it was forced and under it was concealed a feeling of hopelessness. I wouldn’t be able to do anything to her. Not even a scratch. The top 3 students aren’t able to do so, and they’re supposed to represent the strongest and most intelligent students in this school, so if anything, only they could even stand a chance. So if even they can’t defeat Barun-sensei, why am I getting so sad over my own inability to do so? I’m stuck in 56th, so why would I even consider having a chance? Another voice made her regain her composure. What he said made perfect sense, and a sudden realization of her own unthoughfunes hit her. Of course, they won’t be the top forever. And it’s obvious that I’m not stuck in 56th for eternity. She let out a chuckle.

“My, my Alexander. It sounds as if you’re aiming for the top.” Octavia retorted with a smug smile. Well, if I want to get better I do need to train… and what is a better motivator than a rival? Her grin disappeared and an expression full of resolve replaced it. “Well, if you are, you’re not the only one.” Octavia said in a dignified tone, but only a slight gust of wind responded to her. "A-Alexander?" Silence. Where is he?

Outside of the School
8:17 AM
"Makes us proud, we know you'll be great!"

The final words from my parents raced through my mind-frame in a continuous loop as I strolled impatiently towards my new school and residence, hauling my black book-bag; which held my school essentials and a maroon suitcase that (mostly) held nothing but clothes and maybe a few books to read. Under normal circumstances, this wouldn't be anything worth note. I had the first few days of school down to a science! Meeting new classmates and teachers, Getting used to class schedules, Finding places to sit a lunch, Etc. All this, thanks to the wonders of public education, was thoroughly pummeled into my DNA. Although, whether or not that's a positive thing is a mystery the likes of detective Conan in all likelihood wouldn't be able to solve, regardless of the ethics, that statement still rings true. Academically, I've always stood out, not that I mean to brag. I routinely made honor roll in middle school, of course, it helps having a nice, but immensely intelligent mother who will cast upon the wrath of Izanami-no-Mikoto on me if I dare make a grade lower than a C, not to mention my dad, who'd be terrifying even if he wasn't a hero, so that was never going to be a major point of contention. In fact, seeing it as it is, not a lot was out of the ordinary. PSA, while certainly still impressive, wasn't a masterwork of construction by any means and was actually smaller in scope than my old middle school. In fact, one could say it was quite boring to look at for very long, it didn't give off the larger-than-life atmosphere like the majority of super hero academy's in the country. But that was just it, Not only was I, Daisuke Hashimoto, enrolled at a HERO academy, I was enrolled at one endorsed by All Might, the world's No.1 hero himself. It was......surreal, I worked my whole life just for this.....To gain an opportunity to uphold the legacy of my father.....To become the proud and honorable protector I dreamed since my infancy i'd become. But now that it's actually coming into fruition....well, it's overwhelming to say the least.

As I progressed through the sizable courtyard, passing the gigantic and surprisingly life-like statute of All Might along the way, I began to take a gaze at the leagues of bodies that evidently was filled with my fellow students for the year. Tons of differing body figures and proportions, some kids were especially lanky and slender, others were more compact and bulky, facial features were likewise varied. Heck, a considerable number of people that I passed had animal-like dispositions, Whiskers, Claws, Feathers, Talons, Paws, Sharp almost ominous looking teeth, you name the creature and there was likely some kind variant here. Certainly a colorful looking bunch, the diversity however only served to worsen my ever growing anxiety, I'm a "City-boy" as some people would comment and because of that I'm not used too the more.....eccentric quirks and abilities. Yeah it's rather xenophobic, I just hope I'll be able adjust to my unfamiliar surroundings quickly. After stopping to greet a few people I eventually found the auditorium, student piled in droves finding places to seat; everyone was silently (or not so silently in some case) awaiting for the instructors to officially welcome us into the new school. I took a long and drawn out breath and exhaled slowly, I walked into the building not completely sure what to expect next.

PSA: Auditorium
Time: 8:27 AM

Entering the auditorium, directly after one of the school staff took my book-bag and luggage to my dorm room. I found myself being stared at by multiple dozens of black, theater style rows of seats Students had already began to fill up every vacant chair with impressive speed, I hastily rushed towards the first open seat I saw, splashing myself down and earning some nasty looks in the process. The time I had to converse with the kids around my (at least the ones I didn't bowl over when I went to take my seat) was cut short as the principal of PSA took to the podium right in the center of the room before starting his speech. The man with through the standard checklist of "back-to-school" announcements, giving us a general welcome to the school, congratulating on our collective effort and energy, telling us that we were embarking on a special journey. The enthusiastic speaker also so mentioned the entrance exam, it was more of a nightmare than regular exam. I thought for sure after leaving the testing grounds that i'd failed, even now i'm shocked I had been given an acceptance letter. After the loud applause from the students in response to the principal's speech, we were all instructed to follow the teachers into the combat room for are first class of the school year.

PSA: Combat Room
9:04 AM

Me and my fellow students filed into the combat room one by one, we were promptly told by an oddly robotic sounding voice to sit down on the benches near the glass windows at the end of the room, the teacher also explained to us; in a very forthright way to avoid the room directly behind said glass windows. How that request pertained to the class in any real way I'm not utterly sure, however considering the voice was able to emote an extreme sense of agitation despite being robotic, I outright refuse to check inside to find out. After the rest of us students finished siting down, the teachers promptly found there own seats at the end of the bench. Except one adult, the principal, who stood before us with a piece of paper in hand. He began to clear his throat and started talking once more. It began apparent early on that the instructor was reading our letter of acceptance, once he finished he stopped and stared directly at the students before him.

"You may remember the day you read this. How did you feel? Joy? Excitement? ... Pride? Yet whether you were on the bottom or the top of our rankings, your path is far from over. I'm sure you know that. I'm sure that you know that, but you don't FEEL that. You don't understand it yet."

How about embarrassment and disappointment......? If I had the option to go back in time and redo the entirety of the exam, I would drop whatever I'd been doing and accept the invitation without delay. Unfortunately, I don't believe we've discovered anyone with that type of quirk. Nevertheless, he made a good point, we wouldn't truly know how long are journey to becoming a hero would be until we hit our first roadblock. The rest of the principal's speech was just as poignant and strengthened my resolve how are so slightly, once he was done, the principal called out three names to the front of the class. Tarou Sasaki, Dea November and Shiri Itami as he proudly announced that they were the top three applicants in the entire school. We clapped as the three made it down to the principal, he then announced that trio would fight against a teacher by the name of Miss Barun. As she stood up I was extremely shocked to see petite, nearly childlike female walk into view. Was she gonna fight all three of them? I don't wish to underestimate anyone, especially someone who's my elder, but she certainly didn't look like a threat to the students. Well, I'm not the one deciding these training methods for a reason I suppose. The 4 of them entered the combat room, they each carefully got ready to start the brawl. I payed close attention to everyone involved, these were the people atop of heroic food chain and as such, they were my chief competition. If I wanted to prove myself to the school.......and to myself, this exhibition of talent would be a pivotal step to that goal.
