If any hand other than Safona's had reached out to keep Silber from killing that butcher, he would have killed two people then. But again, she held him back. Barely. He very nearly brushed off her hand to kill him anyway, but seeing Safona step forward and slap the man shocked Silber into inaction. He let himself be pulled away, again, but now his focus wasn't on that human. His eyes were seeing what those words had caused in Safona. Like a stone thrown at a calm pond, that butcher's painful words had broken through to deeper things. For the claim of having killed drahkin, and for causing Safona pain, Silber would not forgive either.

Silber hadn't expected Baoithin to butt into the middle of a private affair, but it wasn't something he shouldn't have predicted. Of course the human guildmaster would side with the human butcher. He dare reprimand Safona for merely hitting the man as he bragged about slaughtering her family! He dare call the fury Silber felt towards this butcher immature bickering! Safona always went on and on about the virtues of these lower races. He'd listened to her repeat it for so long, he'd almost let himself believe any of it. He'd actually thought this Baoithin might be someone worthy of respect. As always, Safona thought to highly of these creatures. And he'd let himself fall for that trap as well. They were scum. All of them were scum.

As his fury deepened, Silber barely heard a word of the guildmaster's instructions. It sounded like a game, something Silber would have under different circumstances quite enjoyed, but right now he felt as just another insult. He stepped forward. "Very well, I agree to your conditions." But his glowing eyes weren't even looking at the guildmaster when he spoke. He was addressing the butcher.

The young drahkin had already been tall given his age, it was a universal trait among drahkin and was especially apparent in the skydryn, but after he brought a glowing hand to his chest and his entire body changed, a much older Silber stood a head or more above either of the two humans in the clearing. The adult Silber's eyes glowed bright as he took in the scene around him. "Ah, I remember this," he finally said. His eyes looked towards where the marking would be on the human, as if looking through his body and clothes to find it. He shook his head and chuckled softly. "Finally I get to see just how much of a liar you were," he said to himself.

"A duel in a game. A game and a duel." Silber smiled wickedly and spread both arms wide, throwing handfuls of crystallized astra shards and dust into the air. More astra solidified around his hands, becoming glowing claws that he pressed against the ground. The short grass carpeting the clearing suddenly began to grow, twisting and stretching towards the sky, and Silber was quickly hidden from view behind the rising curtain of tall grasses.

Baoithin raised an eyebrow as he watched the two prepare to battle. Al had conjured some manner of chain, while Silber seemed to age the grass rapidly, making it grow large enough to conceal him. Smirking, he ignited his own Astra, the energy taking the form of golden fire. As the flames seemed to consume his body, the air rippled around him, as if from heat. This wasn't just a test. Baoithin was determined to force them to work with each other, or at least to get them to respect each other. Sometimes, words weren't enough. The best way to learn was through experience. He kept a close eye on Al as he listened and watched for signs of Silber's presence. Then he raised his arm...and threw a punch strong enough to send a gust of wind toward the shroud of greenery, waiting to see what happened next.

Al watched horrified as the young Drahkin dissolved away, replaced by a man of his former self. This version of the Drahkin looked mature and dignified, especially in comparison to his younger version. The Drahkin looked at him, seeming to search for something within him but found nothing. He raised his arms and crystallized Astra materialised, surrounding his hands. The crystallised shards became claws as he stabed the ground, forcing the grass around him to grow in size that would conceal him completely. He was a Skydryn, but Al never knew he was this powerful, it almost made Al glad to not have fight him in a duel...almost.

A gust of wind swerved through him, he turned to the origin of the wind and found Baoithin covered in fire, his hair mane becoming emblazed, radiating strong heat. Everyone was transforming around him, becoming as powerful as they could be, while all he did was summon purple chains, he felt weak. Al tried to clear his mind of doubt as the test had started.

He dashed towards Baoithin as he conjured an illusion only he could see. The illusion was himself running the same pace as he was. When he got close the emblazed Baoithin, his illusion leapt towards Baoithin's head so as to cover his sight. The real Al dropped to his knees and slid between the erect walls that were Baoithin's legs, he grabbed hold of the stash, hoping it would let go from Baothin as he exited the legs.

Yigira

Yigi slumped on the floor when Master Bao decided to postpone the work. "Myaa, the shiny coins...."

She came into the group when the conflict already escalated and thus she didn't get the context of the conflict. She would just let Master Bao handle that. Meanwhile, what should she do now? The first job was canceled, and her construction work had already finished with that last cart of bricks.

One of the human attempted to invite the rest of the team for a spar, and the wolf beastfolk replied the invitation with his philosophy... and the moon! The moon! Why would anyone worship anyone other than Mother Earth!

"Let's spar with Yigi. Mother Earth is generous, but Mother Earth is merciless. We must keep growing to survive!" The sheepfolk accepted Manu's offer while showing a rather smug grin at Reynar, as if she just won over an argument or something.

Reynar shook his head, when he heard the Ovil's eagerness for sparring. This Yigi appeared neither eloquent nor very bright to him and her obsession with coins was quite unreasonable for the wolf shaman. Possibly this was due to the Ovils' close affinity to humans which had made them adopt their habits. Of course, they had a closer affinity to the earth than any other element which was the only natural thing he could see about her.
Could he really leave the insult against the moon stand or should he rise to the jibe that was her smug grin? There was a some reason behind getting an impression of each other's abilities without the urge of seriously harming or killing one another as the young human and drakhin had had.
"I accept your challenge, Yigi. Not for showing violence, but for showing each other how we will defend one another against our foes." Nodding in the direction of the sparring area, he locked amber eyes with the Ovil. "Do not fear. I have no Intention to seriously injure you."

Daries had forgotten about her beast-folk friend, and was now skipping through the forest, trying to find a perfect spot for her tree-house. As she walked through the forest, Daries hummed along to an old Sidhe folk song. Out of the corner of her eye, she spotted something. Daries skipped over to the ancient looking oak tree. It was perfect for her tree house! She could have a larger platform closer to the ground for her shop, and a smaller one higher up for her personal quarters.

Daries placed her bag of belongings on the forest floor, and knelt down, placing two hands on the soft moss of the forest. Daries closed her eyes, and began to hum again. Slowly large vines and plants began to grow, having kindly asked the forest to help her out a bit. The vines, roots and leaves stretched upwards and together to form the two-story home she was looking for. Daries smiled brightly, thanking the forest and plant-life for their help, and bounded to her feet and up the stair-like platforms encircling the tree trunk.

Daries was in awe when she reached the first platform, she could see the creek from here! it wasn't too far away, it was actually the perfect distance! Daries giggled to herself, turning and walking into the soon-to-be store she would run. Shelves were already set up, courtesy of her plant friends, and Daries began to unpack varies mason jars and bottles of different medicinal mixtures. She began humming again, even going as far as singing quietly, as she worked, hanging herbs from ceiling hooks so they could dry out, placing out baskets of mushrooms and fruits, setting up small crystal formations that one could buy for spiritual reasons. Behind the counter was a large bookshelf, and Daries began to stack botanical, cook, and fantasy books on it, as well as a few potted plants she had brought. Speaking of which, Daries had placed plenty of hanging plants here and there. satisfied with how the store turned out, Daries trotted up a second flight of stairs/platforms, and into the smaller section that was higher up.

Daries set to work immediately, placing even more plants on the shelves that lined the room. She decided to hold off on unpacking her wardrobe just yet, there was a trip to the stream in the near future, she could wash her clothes there. So instead, she began to make a bed from moss and leaves towards one corner. Daries flopped down on top of it, and let out a sigh of contentment. It was perfect. She rolled off the bed, though, to hang stringy lights from the ceiling. They gave off a slight glow, illuminating her room perfectly. Daries stood in the doorway, smiling dreamily as she looked around her newly finished room. It had such a nice view, she could see the edge of camp, the meadows, the stream..

The stream!

Daries gathered all of her dirty clothes into a hamper made of vines and grabbed a bar of soap, and then proceeded to skip down the stairs, past the trunk of her tree, and towards the small stream. It tumbled down from a higher up source, and was slightly hidden by a few willow trees and hanging ivy plants that grew around the stream. A small waterfall bubbled a little further up, and Daries had an odd feeling wash over her. It almost reminded her of her old home back in the isolated forests. Daries shook her head, and began to wash the clothes she had brought. It didn't take long, though, because they didn't really need that much washing. So, Daries quickly skipped back to her new tree house and set up a clothes line from her tree to another oak. She took hold of a soaking blouse, shook it out a little, and then hung it on the clothes line.

Daries repeated these steps with all of the other clothes she had washed, and then grabbed a white blouse, a knee length green skirt and a leather waist coat thingy. Daries made her way back to the stream, undressed to her undergarments, and then slipped into the deep pool underneath the waterfall. After lots of splashing and swimming, Daries got out of the stream and dried off, before re-dressing in the new clothes she had acquired. The waist-coat-thingy was a bit of a struggle to tie, but she managed. Humming to herself once more, she walked back towards her tree-house with her old outfit folded neatly in her hands.

( anyone can come and bother her, she needs friends)

(Note that Baoithin didn't activate Titan's Boost: Sun yet. He simply activated his Astra. So, while there appear to be golden flames around him, his hair and beard are still the same.)

Baoithin chuckled as Al came barreling toward him. Granted, he never came up with a complex plan in his whole life, but this was insultingly simple. At least the Skydryn had the idea to conceal his approach, rather than just...Wait a sec...He thought as the human got closer. Something was a bit...off. He heard something slide across the dirt while the figure was jumping. With an "Alley-oop!", Baoithin bounded high into the air as the real Al slid under him, his fingers wrapping around a small corner of the sash before it slipped out of his grip. After landing, he smiled at the human. "Not bad. Visually, your illusion was on point." He complimented, "But you still need to consider the other senses and what they might pick up." He gestured to his ear to emphasize what he meant.

He knew he had to keep a close eye out for Silber still, so he continued observing his surroundings, while continuing to keep an eye on Al, in case he decided to pull any other tricks.

Fire. While Silber did not know the specifics of Baoithin's techniques, he had heard that the man used fire. Knowing that much, Silber was certain he could beat the human with ease. Fire was one of the best matchups he could ask for. Silber's techniques didn't lend themselves well to taking out multiple opponents at once, so he'd need to deal with one and then the other. But should he deal with the guildmaster or the butcher first?

The burst of hot air from the guildmaster's punch knocked over the tall grasses that concealed Silber, but he'd already retreated back to the outer edge of the clearing, his long hair quickly disappearing behind a tree. The tree suddenly started to stretch, gaining a hundred years of slow growth in the span of seconds to tower over its young neighbors. It aged further, growing and aging to the point that the cuts Silber had made to its base were harm enough to bring the whole thing down. The now-massive and ancient pine tree cracked and groaned before twisting and falling onto the two humans below. But even during this display of power, Silber remained hidden from sight.

Safona barely acknowledged her guildmasters scolding, believing it her every right to slap that fool. But if he wanted to play peacemaker for now, she could play along a little. Nodding at his words, she was initially going to head back to the cabin with Silber and prepare themselves for their stay here, but he was dragged off to a sudden test alongside Al. She felt a little reluctant to let her younger companion leave since she was still feeling a bit shaken from her outburst of emotions earlier, and pondered whether to follow them, but decided against it. She believed there was no way Silber would fail the test with his abilities. Even though he was a bit hot-headed and arrogant at times, he had the skills and status to back it up. She noticed the little Sidhe kiss the drahkin racist on the cheek before skipping towards the forests. Although it was too late now, she was tempted to do the same for Silber, as knowing someone believes in you always bolsters ones confidence. Though knowing him, he'd probably just take it the wrong way again. Instead, she sent him a quick telepathic message of good luck, before turning her attention back to the group.

The black-haired human named Manu made a suggestion for everyone to familiarize themselves with each others abilities. Even though some may want to hide their skills for now, it would be more beneficial if they knew each others capabilities when on joint quests. It's not like they could hide it from each other forever anyhow. Luckily she wouldn't have to bear the sight of a certain scumbag at this time as well. Safona was about to agree to the suggestion before the conversation suddenly went elsewhere. The wolfman refused to show his abilities, which she didn't particularly mind. But then he was challenged to a duel with Yigi, to showcase his abilities, and now they were going to watch them? These beastfolk were a little more unpredictable and difficult to understand than the ones she had seen so far. Well, either way she would follow them to the sparring arena and watch the ensuing chaos.

The cart moved along the road at a leisurely pace. It seemed to be packed to the brim with stuff, but it was all concealed beneath a cloth tarp. On top of the tarp, a goblin woman in mages robes sat perched on top a silk pillow, reading a from a stack of guild orders she had taken with her to familiarize herself with the continents happenings and challenges. Kofsia read them diligently to pass the time. She had come a long way up north, all the way from the golden coast on the southern Lion continent. Normally, such a far way posting would be the sign of falling out of favor with the guildmaster, but not so in Kofsias case. Hallix had sent her to assist the Golden Star guild under the guise of returning a favor to Baoithin Dornain. She chuckled at this flimsy excuse. She knew she was sent on this mission so that Hallix could keep her at arms length, and to keep her from consolidating more power within the Copper Company. This was evident, as she would be receiving generous monthly stipends on top of any contract payments she could complete while she was here.

Kofsia looked up from her papers and gazed at the surrounding landscapes, annoyed to see only rolling hills around them. "Hurry it up, you hoosier bastard!" she commanded as she smacked the cart driver in the back of the head with the stack of contracts, "I'm not paying for premium transport to have you move along at some peasants pace!". The cart driver patted the back of his head and turned around to face the captain. "Fear not, Captain. According to road signs, the Golden Stars lodge should be coming into view soon.". Kofsia huffed and narrowed her eyes as she leaned closer to the driver, "I said hurry it up. We're already behind schedule thanks to that damn storm we had to sail through, and I don't want to give Master Dornain waiting."

Soon enough, they entered the woods and eventually arrived at the Lodge. Kofsia cocked a wry smile as she gazed upon the guilds humble abode, "Glad they don't have to pay me while in this sorry state". She jumped off the cart and instructed the driver and their companions to begin setting up her tent while she looked around. Dornain was nowhere to be seen, and Kofsia assumed that the man would be rather conspicuous, if the descriptions of his gilded and fiery appearance was to be believed. Instead she spotted a small gathering of mixed individuals, conversing about something. She walked up to them with a confident stride.

"Greetings, initiates of the Golden Star!" she announced loudly to the group, "I am Captain Kofsia Silvergrin of the Copper Company Mercenary guild, Archgrandmaster of the Astral School of Un!". She performed a pirouette and then bowed elaborately while flashing the group a big grin that was accompanied with a shrewd expression on her face. "At your service." She concluded with a sly wink. A keen observer could tell that Kofsias grand gesture was not something used to show respect, but rather a trained manoeuvre meant to dazzle and awe.

"Does anyone of you know where I can find your Guildmaster?" she asked, looking about the people in the gathering and eventually stopping at the skydryn. Surely such a noble individual would be more familiar with the workings of the guild.

(Oh okay sorry, got a bit confused with the Astra abilities)

Al's hand was just out of reach of the stash when Baoithin leapt from him as he slid past. Al stood to his legs stunned as Baoithin landed back to the ground, he complimented him on his abilities but discussed his lack of the proper use of illusions, pointing at his hear. Hear Illusion, Al rarely used two illusions at once as it would use too much Astra, but if he was going to brawl with people like Baoithin then it might be time to practice that too.

A large shadow covered them, Al turned and found a tree...a massive tree!

The tree was huge like it had been ageing there for a long time, this must have been Silber. It continued to expand, growing older at each second until it broke from its weight. Creacks and groans it howled, falling down as bits of barks fell off and leafs rustled through the air. The tree was going to land on Baoithin...to Al.

Al dashed away as the tree fell. Idiot Drahkin, they were supposed to work together.

Nox watched as the pair of Silber and Al began their duel with the Guildmaster. Nox watched for a bit as they went back and forth, displaying their powers. Pulling a peach from his clothes, he began to eat it while watching the fight. It would seem as if they were going for a purely magical brawl. This meant that there would be no weapons for Nox to copy. Silber went into a larger and more developed form before enlarging the grass. This seemed like a decent tactic in their bid to get the sash. Though Guildmaster Baoithin responded by punching the air, creating a large gust of wind. He looked to be wreathed in lion-like fire. The purple chains in Al's hand didn't seem to stack up to what those around him had and Nox could see it on his face for a second. Then seemed it was as if Al performed a full frontal charge, which seemed to end with Guildmaster Baoithin dodging an attempt to take the sash. Then Silber followed up by growing up a tree and dropping it on both his target AND his partner in the exercise. Nox considered using one of his magical weapons to bail Al out of Silbers ferocity. However he decided against it, finishing his peach and leaving for the sparring arena. It may be good to get a viewing of his OTHER guildmates fighting prowess...

Yigira

"Oh, Yigi will enjoy this." The sheepkin woman hopped giddily, she didn't expect the wolfkin to accept the challenge. Inviting the other to watch if they so desire, Yigi beckoned to Reynar to follow her to the newly built arena. Even though it was already tested for its durability before, their spar would be the first real fight ever hold on it.

Before they gone to the arena though, a rather peculiar goblin coming at them. Seems like she was looking for Master Bao, Yigi took a moment to point at a direction where a relatively hotter wind blow from.

"greeting Kofsia Silver Company of Schoolgrin Archmaster Copper Un. If you look for Master Bao search him in that direction, be careful though since he might be on fire right now." She then dashed towards the arena, urging Reynar along.

The arena itself was quite a wide and clear crater, allowing two participant to dash around it with sufficient freedom. The ground was solid but smooth, the workers made sure to threw all jagged rocks away. Yigi jogged for a bit to familiarize herself witht he terrain.

"This is first time Yigi face someone from flock of the moon. Hehe," From one of her pocket, Yigi pulled a wooden stick, which was then planted on the ground. A pale glow could be seen emerged from her hand and it seems to trigger the sudden growth of the stick. It's now a full-length quarter staff.

"Yigira Basil. Fundraising team of The Grove. Yigi ready."

Severinus Severinus Radley Radley

Kofsias face changed from smug to baffled to angry in a cascade of emotions as Yigi positively butchered her entire title, only getting her name right as if she were some lowly apprentice. "I.. I... You.." she said, furiously trying to get her words out. "Such disrespect! You badgeless novice! Your guildmaster will hear of this insult!" She shouted as the two beast-folk ran away to test their powers in the newly built arena. She huffed and puffed with wild eyes for a brief moment, before collecting herself and straightening her robes out. Looking to the direction that Yigi had pointed, Kofsia did indeed sense a faint use of astra within the woods.
"Well then..." she continued as she turned back to the remaining individuals, "I'm assuming there's a trial going on? Is master Dornain testing new initiates?"

"Oh ho! Now this is a dilemma." Baoithin chuckled as he turned around and watched the tree descend upon him. Smile widening, he crouched down and shot up into the air toward the tree. Winding back his fist and letting out a yell, he threw a punch to shatter the section of the trunk that would've flattened him, scattering bits of wood through the air. Then, landing on the lower half of the fallen tree, he looked in the direction it fell from. "Quite impressive, Silber. Now how do you plan to follow up the initial strike?" He pondered out loud.

As he waited for his response, he turned to Al. He wanted to know why they fought. Was it really just simple racism? No...perhaps not. He was so caught up in the orientation he didn't notice it at first, but looking back now, he had said something rather...well, disgusting to say the least, but there was something else about it. "Allacer...you were a member of the Dragon Slayer guild, weren't you?" He questioned. "Few would ever have the inclination to join such a twisted group. Might I ask why you did?"

Once Al was far enough from the falling tree, he turned around and saw Baoithin flying through the air, punching the gigantic tree into barks like he was punching a thin piece of glass. He didn't use any weapons and by the looks of it, he barely used any Astra, how can a simple old soldier be so powerful?

Baoithin landed on the lower part of the tree, making comments regarding Silber's attack, then he turned towards Al and asked why he joined the Dragon Slayer Guild. An odd thing to do since he's trying to beat the hell of him right now, but Al responded anyway while preparing for his next attack.

"To you, they are a twisted group of murderers and psychopaths, but to people like me, they're the necessary evil that eradicates those who put the world in constant danger."-Al put his hand on his back and slowly formed a ten-meter chain, making sure his eyes won't glow-"They're a guild that actually has the backbone to bring proper peace to the world, to remove people who abuse their power and status. People like the Skydryn has power and privilege within the calm skies purely because of their blood, while people like me are stuck here on the war-ridden world, barely getting through the day as they look down upon us, never flinching as they watch us suffer."

The ten-meter chain finishes forming. He swung the chain towards Baoithin with great speed, hoping to wrap him around it and pull him down the gigantic tree.

"Initial strike?" Silber said from where he'd jumped off of the felled tree, one clawed hand pressed against the twisted bark. The half of the tree Baoithin stood upon suddenly aged even further, rotting and collapsing under his weight. "That was my fifth move." As soon as the guildmaster's footing shifted, Silber triggered the crystallized astra he'd scattered right at the beginning of this battle. The tiny crystals glowed and fed their power into the seeds embedded inside each tiny shard. Pointed spears of bamboo stabbed out from the ground all across the clearing, wherever the tiny crystals had landed. Shoots stabbed up and into the rot-softened tree even as it collapsed into itself, forming a natural iron maiden.

Silber scattered another handful of seeds encased in crystallized astra, a particular type of ivy this time, over the tree's trunk as well as the ground around his feet. That done, he turned his glowing eyes upon the butcher, who seemed to have avoided being impaled by the bamboo spears that had sprung up across the clearing. Unlucky. Silber broke a long shoot from the ground and ran his crystal claws down its length before pulling his arm back and launching the spear at the butcher's chest.

Baoithin's scowl deepened on his face as he listened to Allacer's response. And as the chain wrapped around his arm, he had the intent to pull Al forward into a punch. However, something prevented him from doing so. The log collapsed inward, and at the same time, bamboo skewers began to shoot up from it.

The guildmaster grunted as he felt a bamboo shoot skewer his shoulder as he fell. However, his smile didn't falter. "Nice, nice." he muttered. This one was quite skilled. Sitting up among the rotting wood and razor-sharp bamboo, he closed his eyes and began to focus. He knew he'd have to get out fast, lest Silber kill Allacer before he could prove his point. With that said, he pulled the spike from his shoulder, and began to focus his Astra throughout his body. Time to kick it up a notch.

A massive dome of flames burst forth from the rotting wood and bamboo, like an erupting volcano, accompanied by another powerful shock wave that shook the clearing. And as the fires consumed the organic material, a figure strode out from it. Replacing his red mane of hair and beard was fire, and the heat emitting from him grew much more intense. "Titan's Boost: Sun". Baoithin muttered. Then, in one swift motion, he caught the spear as it flew past him. Blood dripped from his hand, indicating that the point had cut his palm, but he held onto it. "I understand now, Silber, why you and Safona were so enraged by his actions. I owe you two an apology for thinking the cause of your argument was as simple as plain racism." He told the Skydryn. The look in his eyes as he looked toward the Skydryn sent his other message clearly: Give me a moment with him, please. Trust me. He then turned to Allacer.

"Allacer, are you saying genocide is the solution to the world's problems? Would that not only increase the hatred between the races?" He questioned as a counter to his statement, "Hatred does not bring peace, only more hatred. I know, some Drahkin can be stuck up, and some can be rather villainous, but do the actions of a percentage of a population define the rest? Of course not!" He strode toward them, his tunic burning away and revealing a strange marking on his chest. "What about the Skydryn that came to the surface to help out? Are you saying they're just as guilty as those who chose to stay? Could you even call them selfish for not wanting to get their country involved in other nations' troubles? If you so faithfully follow the Dragon Slayers guild's way of thinking...you'd still be with them. So why did you leave? Or why were you kicked out? And, more importantly, why did you come here?" Baoithin's voice was more like a roar at this point.

Reynar had focused his attention on Yigi, when another intervention occurred, as a goblin woman in colourful robes and with an even more colourful accessory of additions to her name mad her appearance, introduced herself and asked for the guild master. Before anyone else could answer her, the Ovil had in her lack of eloquence managed to answer and offend her whether intentionally or unintentionally he could not tell. From what he had seen from the alpha until now, he expected no real reproach, maybe a lesson in proper speech which the Ovil definitely could use.
Her astra was focused around the element earth, as he could watch when her basil stick grow into a quarter staff. "Yigira Basil. Fundraising team of The Grove", she introduced herself. Politely, he inclined his head and repeated the introduction: "Reynar, Moon Shaman of the Lake Forest Clan." Then he placed his hands on the ground, feeling the earth, he also had some connection with and howled loudly and clearly to call for his wolf companion. "The strength of the pack is the wolf and the strength of the wolf is the pack", were the words in the ancient language of wolfish hunters which called his companion from the spirit plane. A large wolf with fur as dark as the night sky and some white patches reminding of stars sprang forward until it came face to face with the wolf shaman. In a short sequence of yelps and growls he communicated what he needed his companion for, before focusing his eyes on the Ovil again. She wanted a melee fight with the staff, she could have that. He had no intention of truly harming her and so focused his astra on protecting his own body and turning his claws into his weapons.
As they grew to the size of curved daggers, he bared his fangs and growled: "I am ready."

The chains were caught around Baoithin's arm. Al was prepared to be pulled away when suddenly, the tree he stood on broke apart as spears of bamboo shot through it and stab Baoithin's shoulder as he fell down. Surprisingly, this didn't seem to bother him. A wave of fire engulfed Baoithin as Al covered himself from the heat with his cloak. When he lowered the cloak, he found Baoithin surrounded in flame unfazed as his mane was a glowing fire. He was...amazing, he was a god who came down to earth to bless mortals with his presence.

Al quickly snaps back into reality as a spearheaded straight for him when suddenly, Baoithin appeared and caught the spear, the palm of his hand bleeding and his body radiating heat. Baoithin turned to the Drahkin, apologizing for dismissing their outrage towards Al, then he turned to him. He criticized his belief about Drahkins and the hateful act he took upon them, how genocide would only lead to more hatred, how the small amount of Drahkins does not define the rest. and how despite his loyalty to the guild, he wasn't with them.

Al gritted his teeth, trying to find the answer, Baoithin was wrong, he knows this for sure, he knows this-
A crying young Drahkin sat on the floor alone, pleading for her family in the pull of blood to wake up.
"The elimination of the Drahkins will make the world a better place, I was making the world a better place-"
Men wearing green attire with symbols of a dragon skewerd by a sword gather around a great fire as they burn books, arts and statue from the Drahkins.
"A few pure-hearted Drahkins does not equal to the most diabolical of Drahkins. When you exterminate weed from your garden, do you leave out the ones growing flowers or all of them-"
A woman drahkin groaned and cried in pain as she dangled from the purple chain that was around her neck.

"The death, the suffering, the pillaging, they were justified as they made my life a living hell. I was kicked for a mistake that I made, not theirs. The Dragon Slayers were heroes, my old guild master was a hero, I was...I was..." a wrathful beast in human skin.

Al snatched the stash from Baotithin's waist as tears formed in his eyes. "I think we're done here." He walked away holding the stash and back to the settlement, it was warm from the touch due to Baoithin's titan form. "I came here so I can find a way to go home to the people that need me...and hopefully make the nightmares stop."

Yigira

"Mm? Not taking the first attack? Mya, if Yigi fight against a Minos they would surely charge first." The sheepkin was eyeing Reynar's companion that he just summoned.

"That is a beautiful wolf. Yigi wants one."

Yigira decided to took the initiative and broke her staff into three separate pieces. She threw one of them several meters in front of Reynar, the staff piece was stuck on the ground and then grew into a solid wooden wall. Yigi stood on top of the wooden wall while one of the piece grew back into a full length quarter staff.

Throwing the last piece to Reynar's rear, the stick grew into another wooden wall, but this one was bent in a way that make it resembles a giant helmet. Yigi charged towards Reynar with her staff extended forward. The wall behind him would limit Reynar's option in dodging.

Daries had neatly put her old clothes away, and was now making her way back to camp to see if anyone wanted to join her on a quick gathering trip. In her hands was a large basket she usually used for holding the herbs and fruits she finds.
Daries hummed quietly as she skipped into camp, her pastel eyes sweeping the crowd, searching for someone she knew. After not spotting anyone in particular, Daries slipped through the sea of people, heading off to try and find Al. Maybe he was done with his trial thingy. Oh, she hoped he didn't flunk it, he was her only friend here besides Reynar...
She perked up when she saw Al walking back towards the camp, and skipped over, the basket swinging back and forth as she did so. " Al! Hey! How did it go?" She noticed the stash in is hands and smiled brightly, " I'm guessing you won? That's awesome Al!"
But Daries noticed something else too, the slight tears and the way he walked. He was definitely upset about something. Daries didn't want to intrude, but something was absolutely bothering her friend, and she hated seeing people upset. " Al...?"

As Reynar had no aggressive attitude, he left the first attack to the Ovil. Also, he could learn about her abilities and attitudes better by leaving the ground to her and observing her actions. "That is a beautiful wolf. Yigi wants one", was the Ovil's comment. "This is the wolf spirit form of my ancestor, a mighty shaman of the moon", he explained with a smile that bared his fangs.
The growing of solid wooden walls in front of and behind him limiting his freed of movement was an interesting move, but left him unfazed, as he had intended to confront her head on. His own preparations had turned his fur as hard a scale armor, while leaving it unchanged on the outside gaining him freedom of movement without losing speed or agility. Moving to the side so that he could again maneuver a bit more freely and have his back free and not against a wall, he prepared to meet Yigi's attack with his own hardened claws. As wood met razor sharp claws, they dug deeply into the wood of the staff leaving actual marks. Now, she was within his reach to feint a bite at her right forearm which directed the weapon and moved to swish her feet from underneath her body and make her fall. At the same time, his wolf companion sneaked up from behind her and readied its body to pounce.

Al walked back at the settlement, wiping away his tears and trying to forget the memories that plagued his mind. They deserve no sympathy.

When he reached the settlement, he noticed there was few new face here. It was a goblin woman who seemed to be asking around where to find Baoithin. "He's free now, just go down the path I came from."

He tried to ignore everyone, especially the female Drahkin, not wanting anyone to see him so weak. The only person that could comfort him now was-

"Al! Hey! How did it go?" The cheerful voice of Daries ran through his ear. He looked up and found her, smelling and looking both wonderful, like a flower that newly bloomed. She was holding a basket full of herbs and fruits and made a comment about Al's winning but her smile quickly faded away when she realised the tears pouring from his eyes. "Al...?"

Al quickly wiped away his tears and put on a fake smile, he didn't want to weigh her down just because he was upset. Daries in a way was too pure. If she truly knew the...work he had to do under the Dragon Slayer Guild, even she won't forgive him and probably see him nothing more than a monster. "Yeah, I'm fine, I won after all and showed that Drahkin who's boss. Those are some lovely fruits and herbs you have, you about to open a shop or something?"

Daries wanted to press further, but she knew that it would only make him feel worse. So instead of asking why he was crying, she gave him a warm smile, hoping it would help him calm down. " I bet you did an amazing job! You get to stay, right? I hope you can, your one my only friend here!"
When Al mentioned the basket in her hands, wondering if she was opening a store, Daries began to rant; " Uh huh! I set up a tree house not too far away from camp, right next to an amazing stream! I'm using the lower part of the tree house as a shop that's gonna sell herbs and fruits and medicine, while the upper platform is my personal area!" Daries explained, letting the basket rest in the crook of her elbow as she waved her hands around wildly.
Daries paused, realizing Al was probably really hungry from his fight. She could probably borrow the kitchen at the mess hall area. " Al, you must be starving! Let's go see if there's some food at the mess hall, if not, i'll make us some!! What's your favorite food, just in case i need to make it?" Daries exclaimed enthusiastically, grabbing onto Al's wrist and pulling him along.
