A Galaxy of Darkness

Also, protip; the ship will be far more Nostromo than, say, Enterprise.
It better be, this is meant to be A Galaxy of Darkness, not of 2009's Lens Flare*!

TOS = Bleeb Bloop, blinking lights. Terrible deaths at the ends of parasites.

TNG = Soft indirect lighting, softer carpets. Bloody serious politicking.

DS9 = Brown and yellow, but not cool like DX:HR. War!

VOY = Alone with the blue lit bio-gel based computers... now that might creep up if the biological/spiritual tissues are of dubious origin.

Oh, there are likely some of those floating out there, somewhere in the Black/Void/Elseworld or what have you.

Cue mad scientists hunting for cosmologically ancient proof of a xeno-directed movement that seeded life in the universe?

More likely to be the result of a fragment of something Promethean cascading in from the Outer Spheres...

If, by "Forces" you mean, the Arcana of Forces under the Sanctified Remit of the Path of the Obrimos, by the The Angels' Seraphim of the Most Supreme Supernal Realm of the Aether, then yes, you can take Forces.
On this note, are there sapient races known that aren't metahumans?
None currently known, but we've found ruins and artefacts, from time to time.

They may be in Mysterium or Guardian lockup.

Wait, wouldn't that imply a lack of Fae... Tir Na Nog is still inhabited, or is there a distinct lack of Fae, and therefore Changlings, a thing in setting?

I am pretty sure Fae are covered in the setting material I posted.

No cWoD in here, pls.

Hrm. Don't magi require their own special psychologists? Would they hire a changeling/normal-looking human if they could find someone more aware/Awake?

Magi are too busy and important to personally concern themselves with the mental health of the crew - that's what the shrink is for.

Also, a 'ling is close enough to Awake to be somewhat useful in that capacity.

I may be cribbing stuff from the 2nd ed open dev.

Also, how do we feel about artificial or induced gravity vs. scrabbling around narrow service ducts in zero-g?

Gravity is a 6 dot force, in old world of darkness...

Why not just equip the crew with magnetic boots.

Ask the captain(s).

And try not to think about the sensitive electrical systems under the deckplates.

Haha! As long as the mechanic doesn't get pissed off, I'm game. (Is hacking into the Cortex/Internet actually going to take quantum mechanics though? Was thinking of taking some points for that.)

Pseudo-psychologist here would stroke chin and say sense of gravity can be associated with anchoring and safety, particularly for non space boomers. So if we want to amp up the Nostromo, we could go for more zero-g scrabble scrabble yeah. Does this mean no basketball games in the cargo hold?
