Community [Isekai Hell] February 2024 Event

Dear baron Morbella,

With this letter, I'd like to thank you again for the aid you've provided me. Although we've had a few struggles, I am glad to report that Ringo and her shrine have found a good place in my barony. I'd love for you to come visit and see so for yourself, one day.

Truthfully, it is a great joy to have someone of similar interest and mindset in charge of a barony besides mine. Should our schedules allow for it, I would love to be able to meet again, in the near future.

Besides that, I wished to inquire about something. As you might've heard, for rumours spread far and wide, the church and merchant guild alike aren't entirely pleased with some of my past actions. Although I hope to have convinced them of my good intentions, it does worry me to see how fragile these relations are.

As your domain is within former Light County as well, would you please share some insight in how to manage such relations and affairs under these unfortunate circumstances?

With this letter, I wish to formally apologise for causing some trouble to arise amidst relations with the merchant guild and church.

Upon your instruction, I have attempted to remedy this unfortunate situation as quickly as I could and to the best of my extend. I invited some members of the church to visit and inspect things to their hearts content, which has hopefully shown them that none of their concerns are justified and that I do not possess the slightest intentions or desires of starting up new religions or risking new cultist activity.

Even so, I recognise that these events have shown me that I have much to learn. Should you ever see it fit to give me council on how to manage such relations with our nations various factions, I would be most honoured.

Once more, I apologise for my actions and the consequences they caused.

Dear Ophenia,

It's been fun hanging out again and I'm glad we got to talk heart to heart.

I hope you're doing well, but after having read your letter, I don't feel like I need to worry about it. I'm glad you were able to come to such conclusions. I'm sure that, when you're loving yourself, your songs will be all the brighter and all the more powerful.

Should you ever need a reminder; You are loved. You are not alone. You deserve to be happy.

If you're ever doubting the above statements, you're always welcome to write, but I'm sure that whomever you'll be around with at that time could tell you as much. You tend to have a positive impact on those around you.

Calliope and I are planning to visit Calliope's family in the north of Ryken, which might end up being a rather long trip. That said, once it is done, I'd like to come visit an actual concert of yours. As your manager, it's a bit odd that I've never attended one before, isn't it?

Hopefully the both of you have been able to recover from the whole ordeal you've been through? Whilst things would've gone smoother if you'd have listened to me better, you at least listened to me well enough for this favourable outcome to be possible, so I wish you both the best in that regard.

Truthfully, I feel like the both of you were in luck at the chosen Justiciar, as I could have imagined that not all of them would've been so forgiving. That said, I could still imagine that recovering your reputation might not be easy. Perhaps now would be an ideal time to do some charity work? Show the people a reason as to why it's a good thing your heads weren't on the block that day.

By the way, don't worry about your sister. She's already having a lot of fun flirting with a guy she just met and she seemed to be offering him to fight her Fuller, so I'm sure she's already completely over anything that happened.

It has come to my attention that you've recently risen to a noble rank within house Driscol.

Y'arr harr Captain!

It's a shame we didn't get to sell the orb for a lot of money, or at all, but it was a really fun adventure regardless! I like that you showed me heaven as well! We should go back there and hang out with the folk there sometime, as they might be fun and they say that everyone in heaven is happy, so they'd be really great for me to study for my happiness research!

I really like sailing with you and our other friends again and the underwater world was really pretty!

That said, I'm planning to sing another concert soon, so I won't be able to stick around, but I might return for another adventure later! Oh, perhaps you'd want to come listen when I'm having my concert? It'll be with Ophánia "Du Coeur Pur” and she's famous, so I'm sure you'll find us!

It's still a shame you didn't let me touch the spikes on your armour, because they looked totally spikey-spikey.

It's also a shame that we didn't manage to sell that orb at a high value after we discovered how much happiness that might bring, but as the French might say; 'c'est la vie'. I think that means there's food burning in the kitchen, but my databases are cotton now, so that might be wrong.

Anyhow! I heard you were going to stick around with Zeke, so I'm guessing we'll see each-other again! Perhaps when the both of you come to visit me and Ophenia's concert! It'll be great! She's fully called Ophánia "Du Coeur Pur” and she's famous, so I'm sure you'll find us!

I think the others are really, really angry that you took the orb. However! I know that you did it because you believed that you had a way to make it bring even more happiness, right?

If I had to guess, it's because 'absence makes the heart grow fonder', so for us to truly value the orb, there needs to be a lot of distance between us and the orb and you sacrificed your reputation to put that distance between us as the orb!

Honestly, if I knew you'd go make such a sacrifice, I would've tried stopping you or taken on that duty myself. However, don't worry, I won't tell the others about it. I'm sure they wouldn't understand either way.

Also, also, I'm planning a concert with someone called Ophánia "Du Coeur Pur” and she's famous, so I'm sure you'll find us if you'd want to come listen! Then again, I also invited the others and they might want to murder you, so perhaps you'd have to come undercover?

Thank you for welcome me back along with my family. Truth be told, my return home was one of the strangest experiences ever, between the lack of memory and overwhelming return of feelings.

It's odd to know there's someone who's been as close to me as my own family, like you, without having any memories of it. Honestly, it makes me feel guilty. I wish I could recall more about our past together, but I'm afraid it wasn't meant to be.

Even so, I do hope we can create new memories instead, the next time I drop by. After all, the great Vinerva surely would welcome me again, right? Also, I might've read that you, at one point, wished to say something to me. I'm not sure if it's still relevant, but when I return, I promise I'll hear you out.

Thank you for accompanying me to the Magic Tower, or rather the magic crystals that caused its illusion. Although things didn't exactly go as planned, your aid and company were both appreciated.

That said, I must say that your apathy towards death did shock me somewhat, for I would be saddened if you were to die. Please, I do urge you, take better care of yourself and your life. Whilst I believe you seem to be having a difficult time adjusting to life as you are now, I can assure you that, with time, things will start to seem more normal and you'll be happier for it.

Even so, I do genuinely hope you'll the priest you look for to answer your questions. Until then, however, you'll continue to remain a welcome guest within my barony and, if you'd permit me to call you one, a friend.

Truthfully, I didn't expect I'd ever be so intrigued by a non-organic being, yet you're one of the most fun and interesting people that found its way into my life in a long while. The fact that you can keep up with Scylla and seem to know how to work with her is definitely a big bonus as well.

My offer to house you still stands, of course, as I'd be my privilege to have someone as fun as you over. Needlessly to say, that offer would extend should you ever look for more permanent contracts or ownership.

Normally, I'd apologise for having gone a bit overboard with my demands previously, but the extend to which you managed to keep up with them suggest I didn't even test you to your fullest yet. Would you want me to?

Although we haven't hung out for long, it's been rather fun thus far. Whilst I feel like I always need to keep my eyes and ears open when bringing along Scylla, as she finds trouble like a magnet finds metals, I do enjoy seeing her find others to hang out with.

Considering it seems you are oddly able to keep up with her, I do believe it might be interesting to go on this 'date' she suggested. However, perhaps if you can't go with both of us as once, you should go with both of us separately. Starting with her. That way she can teach you, then you can teach me. That'd get us all further knowledge, no?

Truthfully, I was rather unprepared for the mission, yet thanks to running into you, things turned out well.

That said, I must admit it is strange working with someone whom doesn't show themselves. I take it you've got private reasons for doing so, so I won't pry, but I do admit to wonder whether or not we'd even be able to distinguish you should we encounter someone in a similar cloak.

Other than perhaps your height. I think you've one of the few people I met that were taller than me.
