316 led the students to their classroom, once the group exited the cafeteria the pushing and shoving stopped and everyone peacefully and quietly went on their way. The school produces a very strange arua when it comes to student behavior. The same students that enjoyed bullying and being cruel also were quiet, studious and very organized. The classes were located on the second floor, if students cared about not being late they would use the transport chairs. It was only one trip in the chairs, the students would be let off near a staircase that would lead them to the hall of their class. There were three classes in this hall; the rest of the rooms were vacant. The students would need to scan their talkies to be let into the room. The doors were automatic and slid open, when this first student stepped in the door a voice greeted each one of them, but by number instead of names. When Felix walked through the open door it made a small beep and slammed shut. His talkie glowed blue and the door stopped before it hit him, and reopened. There was no teacher, if they questioned ‘316’ she would encourage them to choose their seats and get settled in. Backpacks and school supplies seemed to be unnecessary for class. Their desks were spacious enough to set things on it even with the keyboard. To the right of everyone's desk was a small attachment with a holographic globe sitting floating above it. The simplest object the students could find at their desk was a journal. It seemed to be a basic writing journal, strange for a place that was for the most part paperless. Ten minutes passed and there was still no teacher. 316 had no answers for them, but they were free to explore their own personal areas a bit more. The computers were just a blank transparent screen, if they touched it they would turn on. Just like your first time receiving any smartphone or fancy laptop the computer ran through the motions. It greeted them by number and fazed into the home screen. There was an icon that showed the agenda for the day. The only thing written for today was orientation misspelled. There was another icon with a letter. When clicked on students could choose to send a message to other students. Each student was labeled by a small picture and their placement number. There was another icon on the home screen labeled database with a tiny book icon. When clicked on a blank screen with a text cursor was revealed. There was another icon that also had a book icon but was labeled class database. The students could see the grading system, class rank, and the grading average of their classmates. Everything was blank considering it was their first day of class. At least the students would be able to see what they were being graded on. There were only three categories, general school subjects were not included. This made sense as the students had to have completed the general study curriculum of their countries before they could even apply. Besides the reforms, they were all nerds, even the dumbest of them were most likely taking college classes or just focusing on extracurricular programs. The realization that everyone in the hero program was the best of the best made elite status seem even further away. On top of that everyone here had a good level of skill and control of their powers. No one was a master of their craft but the newbies (for the most part) were from one of the few power based schools located around the globe. It was a fair possibility they would run into someone they knew of course the school hasn’t accepted any new students for a year now. With all the drama and excitement happening at Atlantis any old school mates would have forgotten them.

As Jim explored his desk 316 beeped in his ear then spoke. “A text file has been sent to your pod for later review. The three students you referred to as bullies have attended the school for six months. They are all in the same class. I am going to assume the information you wanted, “the kids I ate with” is not very specific. All information involving students H202, H297, and R008 have been sent to your pod. If you are requiring the personal relationships, social standings, and etiquette of these students then...Incoming message.” A small holoscreen visible to only him appeared out of his talking. If he clicked on the letter icon a message from Veronica popped up. ‘Hey, I saw you sent a request for my personal data. I’m guessing you asked your talkie about me. Anytime you ask for information that isn’t public a request gets sent to the person you asked about. Public information like names and grades usually don’t need approval. Anyway I approved your request. Happy snooping, and be mindful who you ask about, they will notice.’ The message then ended 316 spoke again. “Approval for student H202 has been granted, updating information.”

Since Oliver was last seen throwing a tray into a crowd of students, he thought it was a good idea to get to class as quickly as possible. He arrived as the first student into class. Since Oliver has never arrived first to class before, he wasn’t sure if it was the right classroom or not. Oliver was exhausted from waking at 4am so really didn’t care. He picked a seat near the back, put an arm on the desk, rested his head on his arm like it was a pillow and went to sleep.

James fiddled around with the computers, which seemed like what they were supposed to do, since the AI hadn't complained and there were no instructions otherwise. He considered asking the bracelet if he'd missed something, but it started talking first.

'Of all things, you can't tell if there's an ass in a seat at a specific table?', Jim thought as 316 decided that he wasn't specific enough in his request. But before he could clarify for the AI, he got a message from Veronica. "Interesting..." That could be useful in the long run, but he'd have to be careful. Most of the people here weren't that dangerous if he did tick them off, at least to him specifically, but a couple of them were. And James had seen enough snooper plots to know that if he pissed off enough people that were dangerous to him, then they could team up and blondie was boned. Deciding he'd check out the information later, give a specific list of who he wanted to learn about if he couldn't get it from them directly.

If Branne had known the classroom would be entirely vacant when she arrived, then she might have taken River up on his offer. She'd hoofed it all the way to the classroom, reluctant at best to ride a chair, even with the motion sickness ear drops. Somehow she managed to make it before the late bell equivalent, but she knew she'd have to figure out a faster route in the future.

margate would happily head to class noticing the lack of anyone else it was honestly rather creepy.. especially with how many people they had seen before. the classroom when she did enter had a sci-fi look to it she would sit down at her apparent assigned seat kinda worried about having to sit next to someone else... it was well not a very fun idea for her at least... even the electronic devices had her worried margate and electronics never mixed well

As Victor followed the map to his classroom, Arlon asked him a question, regarding his reasoning for returning back within the cafeteria suddenly then returning just as quick. Victor blushed, not expecting him to question his interest. He did no enjoy showing him being concerned... curious of the other students, it feels that it makes him appear weak.

"Nothing of your concern." He said. "I just wondered whether that idiot was able to think straight and quickly go into class instead of desperately trying to feed himself. Though I do hope we would have another chance to eat since I do need some at the moment...Do you think I will be able to eat a small piece of you?"

Victor noticed something peculiar as he walked to his classroom. There was the lack of typical school chaos he comes to expect, especially with the treatment he and his acquaintance had undergone within the cafeteria. Those who went out of their to bully become obedient and quiet. Usually, Victor would feel joy for students organisation, but it felt surprising...unnerving. This was something unnatural.

Victor reached the classroom and surprisingly enough, no teacher was present. They were greeted by a voice, however, referring to him as H300. So that is what we are called, He thought, sounds worrying like a prison or the names given to test subjects.

He looked over the classroom, figuring out where to sit, then turned to Arlon."Sit next to me if you desire to." He said to Arlon. "But do not get the wrong idea, we are not friends, we just have a mild partnership. Do not talk to me during class, unless you desire my help on a subject." He sat at the middle front of the class. Waiting patiently for the teacher to come.

Few minutes had passed and yet the teacher has not arrived. Victor decided to play around with the computer in front of him, just to get settled and prepared for class. Interestingly, he stumbled to what seemed to be a direct messaging app. Since their teacher clearly has no interest in them, he may as well use it for a bit. He decided to message Felix since he hasn't had the change to thank him for earlier.

Hello Felix, he typed, or should I say H303, how odd is it that students are being referred to as letters and numbers like they are cattle? Anyway, I decided to direct message to say thank you for trying to save me from the android earlier. Sure it turns out that it was just a fluke and you and I made a fool out of ourselves but it was a nice gesture anyway. It is a good trait for a hero to went out of their way to save a person they have no relation with, even if the threat was none existent.

I am curious however, you held my hand while I was being held down the table. Now unless you are a touchy person, I am guessing that relates to your gift. I am interested in what exactly you can do. Of course, you do not have to answer, I can perfectly understand, especially since I asked someone that same question and they preferred to keep it a secret. It would be a nice gesture though and maybe open up the possibilities of a partnership since you clearly have the worth to be a hero, especially in comparison with our peers.

-Victor Lee.

Victor sends the message and continued to wait.

Gm input

when Victor sent the letter the holographic globe floating on Felix’s desk disappeared. A holo letter then popped up doing a little dance to alert Felix that he was reviving a message. 316 would also alert Felix, but with a warning. “Your messages are not private.” it could be that she warned everyone , or maybe she picked up on the stressors of the students. Felix seemed to enjoy his privacy, maybe she was helping him out.

Arlon would give a little nod to victor answer "rightio then honestly I would expect that guy to try and eat a spoon if you labelled it as food" Arlon would chuckle a little bit as his own bad joke. though victors next question had Alron give him a hesitant "err eating some of me might not be such a good idea... but" Alron would stop speaking emerging from his slimy form was a sort of mashed up paste "you can take some of this it was I ate no don't worry its perfectly safe well much safer then eating a bit of me if you catch my drift" he'd reply the two continued it was... very quiet once again everyone seemed to have changed there attitudes as quickly as Arlon changed forms it was a little unnerving. given that the school started calling them by a code Alron thought they where possible attempting to dehumanise them? it was very odd "sure might be the safest bet don't wanna make myself look like an idiot again and no worries can't make friends with someone in two seconds were acquaintances at best right?" he'd say "sitting" down at the desk next to victor.

Felix wasn't expecting to get a message on his desk, much less to be warned that his messages were monitored. Weren't school emails always monitored? Or was he thinking of american email in general? He couldn't recall. But, opening it, he was pleasantly surprised to see that Viktor was behind the message. The pleasant surprise turned sour quickly when he saw that Viktor was asking about his powers, too. Felix frowned, but he tried to stay calm. He couldn't have another outburst... But that didn't mean he had to give in, either.

Greetings, Viktor. he began.

I hope you don't prefer H300. I think you deserve better than my mother's robots, as names go. As for earlier, I definitely made myself out to be a fool. But, I don't regret my actions. I came to not only learn more about my power, but learn of Heroism as well. That scene gave me some second thoughts about what the school regards as heroic, but I digress. I did consider using my powers on you in that moment.

My abilities are a sensitive subject. Everyone keeps prying, but I know that once I reveal it, people will view me differently. It's nothing to be ashamed of, or to be feared. But it will set the tone for how people think of me. They will see me as a tool. But, you haven't revealed your ability to me, either. Is it that it never seemed to be the right time, or are your powers a sensitive subject as well? I won't ask you what they are. But I get the feeling everyone's going to learn what we can do very soon, regardless of what we do or don't say.

I do hope that we can be partners. But, unfortunately, my power isn't the ability to see the future. I can't know whether we will or won't be. I just hope we have a choice.

-Felix Tobin

Felix wasn't sure if he'd used a gentle enough tone in his writing, and perhaps he should've ended on a more hopeful note, but the day had been bleak so far. Why be dishonest, he thought? Then, exploring the computer in his desk, he looked in the database, checking his grades. Nonexistent. Well, that was fine. However, he wondered where the teacher was...

"316, correct?... I appreciate your warning about the messaging system, but I have a question: When will our instructor be arriving?"

Yarra arrived at class, raising an eyebrow as the computer referred to her as R011. She looked around the class and realised no teacher was there to introduce them or set up their sitting order. Hell yeah, free time.

She opted to sit next to the red-head, saying "Hey hot stuff, haven't seen you in a while." to her as she sat down. Yarra put her feet on the table and rested her hands behind her head, waiting for the teacher to come.

The teacher hasn't come.

Yarra sat up, having a late teacher for the first day of school was something she had never experienced. Out of boredom, she decided to play around with the computer. She saw the grade which looked weird. No category for Maths, Science, English or anything like that. Make sense, this was school purely for aspiring heroes after all, though she wondered if it meant after school if you're are not cut for a hero job, would you be screwed since technically you didn't have a proper high school? Whatever, this school was probably a better reference than Yarra's old religious school in the middle of no where.

She came across the messaging app with all her classmates, including the blue-haired hotty. Since she's bored, she decided to playfully ask for nudes, but that would probably get her in trouble. She needed to be clever about this.

Sup blueberry, she typed, I'm bored so I'll just send you prayer. As one of God's warrior, this prayer really helped me so maybe this will help you. Sink in every word you read and let god inside of you.

Saviour oh lord, I need your peace today. Even I know that in order to be at rest I have to stop juggling fear with faith. Never would I not ask for your wisdom. Deliver me from evil and help me to be brave. Now come now and hand over these concerns. Understand that I need you. Devil beware, god fill me with your love, joy and peace instead, Lord. Evil beware as God, grant me tenacious wisdom and courage as I go through this day. See when I am tempted to give up, help me to keep going.

In Jesus’ Name,

Amen.

Yarra sends the message, hoping for blueberry to be able to decipher it.

Portia was let into class the same way the rest of the class was. Considering how loud and bustling the cafeteria was everything was quiet now like it was earlier. People sure had a way of spawning in and promptly disappearing in this school. She was greeted with a number rather than her name, H309, before going to take a seat.

Looking around everyone was starting to take their seats and it was difficult to decide where she wanted to sit. She didn't sit next to nor talk to any of the others during lunch and they all seemed to be chummy already. There were a number of things she could have done but Portia chose to sit next to James. Not because she hoped to talk to him but because he seemed like the least annoying person to sit next to. The first thing she did was look at the interface and desk. The screen logged into her information and went through the motions of starting up as if it were the first time anyone had used it. It felt strange given someone had to have used it prior to her but that could easily not be the case. There was a journal on the desk, one she was going to make sure she used to keep track of her thoughts. It was basic but it'll serve its purpose.

She started going through the files on the screen aimlessly exploring what she had currently available to her. There was an agenda with a word notably misspelled and given they still didn't have a teacher, she wasn't all that surprised. Everything at this school had this odd method of organized chaos that even the adults seemed to follow. Next, she clicked through to the grading system to find out where she stood which was nowhere since everything was blank. There weren't traditional subjects but considering how much coursework she completed before entering and the purpose of this academy it wasn't shocking. What was shocking is that if everyone in her class was supposed to be 'exceptional' then why were half of them so stupid? Most of them seemed to have no common sense or acted before or without thinking. Some of them didn't appear to have control over the abilities either. Portia went to a power school and a good one at that. Not to mention her parents trained her day in and day out for her to follow in their footsteps. The bluette had pristine, near-perfect control over her powers and the only thing she needed was learning unique ways to apply it. The girl may seem like a lazy, stuck up, bitter idiot but she was a lot more than she let on. She dreamed of going to this school and becoming a proper hero, not just someone who takes down childhood bullies. This school was full of them and in order to really make a stride towards change that required partners. Her mother would always say, "All things in life can be accomplished alone but with help, it makes the burden easier to carry." If she was going to go through with what she intended to do she needed at least one friend. Someone she could trust not to stab her in the back. So far, the only person she would remotely consider was her favorite classmate.

Then she got a message, speak of the devil. The globe resting on her desk turned into a floating envelope indicating she received a letter from someone. She scanned it over before smirking. Yarra was quite the interesting individual and Portia liked a woman with a bit of faith. Well, Portia liked just about anyone for any reason from something as simple as the way they smell to something as complex as the way they pronounce each different word. It also helped her case that Yarra was really cute. She sent her a simple message;

My, my so I not only get a nickname but a prayer? How sweet of you. Maybe you'll find out just how sweet I am too during free hours. Hopefully, you don't fall prey to such temptation and let everything flow inside you. Or do, it's up to you and you know where to find me. If you link up with me then you'll just have... easy access. Then I'd get to know your cute face better. I think we'd both benefit from our friendship.

Smooches,
Blueberry

As much as she just wanted to outright say she wanted to meet in the bathroom and smother her face, Portia refrained. The teachers and principal were likely able to read all of their messages and she really, really didn't want to go on to explain what she meant by 'let me sit on your face baby' in detail. Not right now at least. Still, she was fully game to play whatever game Yarra was getting at, and if it got her entertainment in the process, even better. Hopefully, the lovely Aussie would link talkies with her in the event she needed anything there was at least one person she could fall back on. Party girls have to stick together after all.

“Welcome Mr. Starr.” The robotic voice announced the arrival of another. He was older, possibly a teacher, but it was hard to tell by looks alone. The man wore dark jeans and a grey sweater. His messy hair was noticeable under the black beanie he wore and complimented the dark circles under his eyes. He carried a yellow folder that he threw on his desk and a brown flask. He kicked his feet up on the desk taking a swig from a flask and pulled his beanine down to cover his eyes. The unshaven man said nothing to the class. As he leaned back in his reclining chair it was unsure if he was asleep or not.

When the drunk teacher walked into the classroom, he honestly thought there was something on his glasses, there was no way this random dude was a teacher. Usually being a teacher came with a dress code that was stricter than the students' code, at least where he was from, and being drunk on the job wasn't something that the school would take kindly to. James had been late to breakfast and almost got expelled, there was no way in Hell that it was just ignored there was a drunk hipster on campus.

After taking off and cleaning his glasses and confirming that his eyes were not deceiving him, James blinked a few times. "Uh... sir? Are you alright?", he asked the teacher.

Shaking her head, she watched the, she assumed teacher, walk in and take a very relaxed position at the front of the classroom and presumably take a nap. Perhaps the material was already sent to them and she had simply missed it? She was about to ask her bracelet if something had been sent, perhaps a worksheet or something, until she realized that everyone else was fiddling around with the computers as though this were routine.

Branne, having never possessed so much as a digital wristwatch in her life, at least not for more than five minutes before something went wrong, had no clue what she was supposed to do with the computers. Leaning towards Yarra, "I do not know vat I am zupposed to do vith zis... zing," she said to the Australian, "Are vee zupposed to vee doing zomezing?"

Yarra perked up as Blueberry send back there. Just like Yarra, she hid real intentions within the message, maybe a bit less subtle. She appreciated the comment anyway, and just thinking about being with her just gets her excited.

It seemed their teacher had arrived, even though he looked more like hipster hobo than the teacher. Yarra expected a greeting or explanation from him, like what most teachers would, but all they got was absolutely nothing. Looks like he preferred to be on a bed than to be here.

I feel you, buddy.

Hot stuff asked her about her device, though it was difficult to understand her with that thick accent of hers.

"Oh, the watch thing? Yeah, it sorta acts like a phone from what I could tell. You can pull up maps, call people and all that stuff. I personally haven't used it yet but from what I could tell from Jim, all you really had to do is to talk to it and it will follow your command."

It was a miracle he had gotten through lunch without getting a tray dumped in him. Throughout lunch he had been messing around with his bracelet. It turns out it’s kind of like a phone. After lunch, his bracelet pulled up a map of where to go, but even then ,it was confusing, so in the end, he just followed the rest of the people. At last he finally reached the classroom

Right when he entered, a robotic voice said “Welcome H307” so that’s how they keep track of us he thought to himself. He sat somewhere random in the middle, next to some guy, what was his name again, Jimmy? No James, it was James

Right away he began to experiment the interface at his desk. He clicked around for a bit, none of the files really making any sense, though he did discover an instant messaging app on it.

After a bit, the teacher finally came in, though it was hard to tell he was. He looked like some drunk hobo from New York, the kind sat on dumpsters in the alleyways. The only way to tell he was the teacher, because he looked older. Somethings Off he thought to himself. Wasn’t this an elite school? Then why was half of the kids here stupid, and the teachers are drunk hobos? Something about this school felt wrong...

"Wait, you mean the computer...really? You been living under a rock or something?" The hotness not understanding the watch was perfectly reasonable, it was alien-like technology after all, but not understanding a computer is a bit odd. Yarra then realised that she might have insulted her. "Oh, sorry mate, my mouth just does its own thing half the time..people say that's a plus in bed. Well...where do I start."

Yarra used Branne's computer, showing her everything. How to use a mouse, what are the things to click, every basic knowledge she needed to know.

A disheveled adult came into class, sat down, and attempted to sleep. Oliver was happy, as long as the teacher was sleeping, no work could be assigned and all is good. All the students had to do was not talk to him. That should be easy, but somehow too difficult for Jim. Before Oliver could get Jim's attention to get him to be quiet, the teacher awoke.

The teacher asked Jim a tricky question, serves him right, Oliver thought. After Jim’s answer, the teacher went crazy and started shooting. After class, Oliver wants to ask Jim why he thought the teacher being awake was better than being asleep. That is if he survives class.

"Hey you fucking bogan, Jim is the invincible one here, not me! What's the big idea?" She stood up from her chair.

Victor was gleeful to have Felix send back to him immediately, though his excitement quickly diminished upon reading the message. That bastard, he thought, tell me, how hard is it, how bloody hard is it to spell my name right? It is not spelt with a k, it is spelt with a c, a c! I thought I was done with this bull...droppings, once I left the academy.

Besides that little annoyance, Victor understood perfectly why he would not share his gift, he experienced it with Portia after all. Though he hoped to gain a better understanding with him as he seemed to be a perfect ally.

The teacher finally arrived...and he acted what pretty much he expected from this school. Unprofessional, lack composure and elegance. As he sat down, Jim berated him, just this once Victor agreed with the blonde American. The teacher then asked him a valid question then Jim responded.

Without any warning, the teacher pulled out a gun and shot nearby the drunkard, almost hitting the grey gigantic at the back. Victor's heart skipped the beat as the teacher pointed the gun at him and asked him the same question he gave to Jim.

"Well...I." Victor gulped, as he composed himself, trying desperately to hide his fear. "Well, I need a licence to become a professional hero. I am the son of Chivalry after all and I thought I should use my gift that will service the world, society, show what it means to be a true hero. I need that licence so I can use my gift to save those in need. I need that licence so I can use my gift to be a hero others could rely on. I need that licence to be...the Ultimate weapon. Does that answer satisfy you?"

Victor put his arms on the table, if the man even twitches his fingers, he will quickly form his arms into a shield to block the bullet or form his hand into a gun and fire back.

"Hmm." Starr tapped his desk a screen popping up. He took his foot off of his desk and folded his beanie back. "That was wrong by the way." Without looking up from typing on the screen he shot at Victor, the bullet hit his desk, and jumped back up almost taking out his nose. Panic seemed to erupt as the bullet whizzed around before shooting into Jim's foot. When Starr got done typing, Oliver's, Felix's, and Portia's talkies glowed red and gave out a low hum. Starr then stood up and using his gun to scratch his face. "Portia, if you don't mind" He flipped the gun over handing it to her. "Oliver, do you know why the Hero force is so important ?"

Oliver was completely stunned at what was going on. All he could is think, Don’t pick me, Don’t pick me. Of course the teacher picked him. Oliver wasn't completely sure what the hero force was, so he had no clue why it might be important. He tried to think of a good answer but his mind drew a complete blank. All he could muster was, “I don’t know." Oliver looked down and just hoped the teacher was out of bullets.

"Really, that was the answer?" That was a new one, and Jim had mostly pulled that out of his ass, even if it was true. And then he almost put a bullet in Yarra! "Whoa, hang on a second!", Jim was on his feet, but he didn't know who to do jump in front of. The gun was pointed at Victor, but Victor looked like he was preparing to his thing, Jim didn't know what it was, but he'd bet it wasn't being bulletproof.

And then the gun went off a second time, reminding Jim that just because he visualized stuff as a video game, doesn't mean that bullets are slow enough to see and be dodged, at least as far as James's current skill set was, so as this thing bounced around the room and he went to shield the nearest person with his body, he didn't realize he'd been shot in the foot until there were bloody shoe prints sliding across the floor to rejoin his body.

"OW! Crap, bullets hurt, man!" He took off his shoe, showing the bloody sock as the red stain retreated back to his injury and shook the bullet out of the shoe and onto the table. The injury rejenerated almost immediately, bone, muscle, and skin fusing back together before he put the shoe back on, picked up the bullet, and set it on Starr's desk. The bullet was clean, except for whatever was on the desks after Jim let go, as the pieces of Jim on it merged back with his body, taking with them "Would you like to try again? You could have killed somebody! You almost killed Yarra, Victor, and Margate!" It didn't matter if the teacher was a good shot, he was drunk! And he fired shots at teenagers! Even if they were superpowered teenagers, they were lucky he'd missed and the bullet hit Jim before it hurt any of the others. Alron might have been okay, but what about the others?

That was... weird. Why was it so unfeasable to Yarra that Branne might not know how to use a computer? Did she not feel the heat emanating from the redhead's body? "I... melt most technology I touch," Branne admitted, "I don't have any money either." The flirty undertone of Yarra's statement and the wink seemed to have gone over her head, just as Branne's accent had initially gone over Yarra's. As this exchange was happening, however, the hobo drunkard that reeked of fuel pulled out a gun and shot it at them. The bullet leaned more towards Yarra than Branne in it's path, but it was close enough to the two leaning girls that the air around Branne shimmered a bit as the bullet registered. It took some effort and a deep breath to keep from ignition, but Branne managed not to explode this time, unlike this morning.

"What's the big idea!", she barked in agreement with Yarra, but her accent likely made that unintelligible, "You almost killed us!" She looked back to see where the bullet went, only to see it lying on Margate's desk. Confused, she looked back at the teacher, were they in kahoots? Was this planned?

And then the second shot rang out, bouncing around the room. Branne tackled Yarra out of her chair to shield the Australian from the bullet if it went their way. Branne could handle a trip to the infirmary, melt the bullet when it hit her, redirect the heat from the friction to change it's course, something. Of course, as soon as Branne had done this, a cry of pain told her someone had taken the bullet. She looked up to see the blond boy with glasses limping a bit before taking off his shoe and... Branne had to look away. She realized she was smothering Yarra and got off of her. "Sorry," she said getting back into her seat as the blond complained. Branne agreed with him, but the man had a gun. Even if he'd handed it over to Portia, the man HAD A GUN! And now PORTIA had a gun! What was going to happen now?

"Jim stop disrupting the class." Starr patted Oliver on the head giving him a smile. "Portia I want you to shoot me in the head." He removed his hand from Oliver and grabbed Portia's wrist and had her place the gun up to his temple. "Just right in the head don't worry about killing me, if Olivers answer is really not knowing then i am as good as dead anyway, along with the future of humanity. Shoot me." Starr spoke in a calm manner but his tone was very serious. If she would not do it he would do it himself. It had seemed as though the teacher had clearly lost his mind, if they would ask there talkies for help 316 would inform them that she detected no present danger. Kai had mentioned to some of the students that Starr was actually an active hero, that the class should feel lucky. And with a school that seems to monitor everything it was strange that no one seemed to intervene him giving a loaded weapon to a student, or firing at the class.

the gun was a bit of a surprise especially with the shot going past her deciding to maybe just remain quiet and listen to starr.. she'd try to at least make herself look somewhat inconspicuous though that was incredibly difficult for her as she didn't really what to get shot at by the rather disgruntled teacher. oh and then he decided to hand a gun to a student what the heck was going o... wait... of course it was some kind of test right? that would make sense.. well she wasn't called out so no point in saying anything right?

the class was... intense..? to say the least he would look over at victor "hey... you sure this place is for heroes I mean the teacher seems a little unstable?" he'd whisper to him an air of concern within his voice as he'd then look back to starr before sinking under his seat in an effort not to get noticed because someone was gonna get shot eight? sure he'd be fine but still getting shot in class wouldn't look good on his record even if he'd previously offered that scientists free reign to shoot him.
