that reminds me, i played FF1 and 2 when they rereleased it the first time. and i fell in love with the series after that.

Tbh I wasn't really fond of the rest of the series. It required a lot of grinding, which I don't enjoy. I was like the 1 person in the world who liked XIII though lol.

My brother played a Selkie when we played together, and the IFrames they get as their defense last so long, it's crazy XD Catherine is actually kinda stolen with a name change inspired by my brother's character back then.

The one thing I always remember about the game is that if you got a Cure Ring, you kept that son of a bitch XD

Oh? How so?

Lol yeah. I got a ring for Thunder, Fire, Blizzard, and Cure before going after the final boss. And the max amount of health and command slots.

I managed to get to the final boss once (Or at least, that memory-eater thing that stops you from killing the boss in the mountain) This was when I was dumb and thought you could get through the game by playing each area once XD

Thaaaaaaaaaat didn't go well >.< I still need to play it again with actual preparation this time so I can beat it. Maybe when I get my hands on the remake

Ah. Yeah I did that when I was really young. Then when I replayed it when I was older I did each area 3 times in order to play each of the difficulties. It wasn't bad after that lol.

Wait, there's a remake??

I burned through like 20 Phoenix Downs (I was playing solo at the time) and couldn't beat the boss after that XD Yeah, I'll definitely not make that mistake again.

Yeah! They announced it in June of this year

I got it for Let's Go. Aside from some indie games, it hasn't seen much use yet. When Sword and Shield come out though... FFCC is also on mobile though.
I bought a Wii U in anticipation for Breath of the Wild (Back before the Switch was even a concept). I was so relieved when it had a Wii U release as well as a Switch one XD But now there's a whole bunch of Switch games I want to get, but can't because I don't have a Switch yet. Ugh

And I'd rather not play it on mobile XD I don't like to use my phone for gaming, that's not what I got it for

Ah I see. Tbh I didn't really enjoy BotW. It didn't feel like a Zelda game to me. Unpopular opinion, I know.

I feel ya. Usually mobile ports of non-mobile games are pretty bad as well.

It didn't feel like it was really a Zelda game either until I got to the dungeons/Divine Beasts, which there were only four of and they didn't last very long. I'm willing to accept that though, and love it anyway XD Besides, Zelda games have always been trying new things practically since their inception, so I'm not gonna put down BotW for doing the same

But I'm also literally autistically obsessive over the series as a whole, so I maaaaay be a little biased :xFtongue:

I didn't get far at all lol. I got lost trying to find one of the beacons in the beginning lmao. But I heard it's more about using your powers and all than using tools. Either way, I suppose it's a puzzle... Maybe I'll try it again. It's just too open world for me. Once again, a very unpopular opinion.

I really liked the 3D games, and a few of the newer 2D ones. OoT through TP were my jam.

The puzzles are in the Shrines and Divine Beasts, most of the rest of the game is the open world stuff XD I personally loved exploring Hyrule wherever I wanted, doing the main story quests in whatever order I felt like. It's not everyone's thing, though, and honestly I don't play many open world games myself XD Just this one because it's Zelda, and maybe Starbound if you count that

I own all the 3D games :xFtongue: My favorite one is Majora's Mask. I haven't played many of the 2D games though, not even A Link to the Past (A cardinal sin, I'm aware. I can emulate it, just haven't gotten around to it yet)

I see. I haven't heard of Starbound.

MM is my fave too! TP is my second. I haven't played A Link to the Past either. I tried to emulate it but kept dying on the bow and arrow dungeon boss. I got frustrated and gave up lol. I did play A Link Between Worlds though. It isn't my favorite tbh. I'm excited for the Link's Awakening remake.

It's a 2D sidescrolling game where you have a ship and you explore procedurally-generated planets. I play it heavily modded, so that may be part of the reason I bothered with it for so long XD

MM is my #1 favorite of all time, most of the others keep switching places but OoT, WW, and TP all stay pretty consistently up near it XD The rest I enjoy on pretty similar levels as well (Yes, even Skyward Sword) but those are the big staples.

I LOVE Starbound! I owned it during Early Access and played the crap out of it when i got it.

Ah okay. Hmm... Maybe I'll check it out.

And I actually love WW and the toon Link games. Spirit Tracks and Phantom Hourglass were totes fun for me. I was not a fan of Skyward Sword though.

I tried to play it at first and got bored before getting all the Core Fragments. Then a few years later I added a few mods from the Steam Workshop and blew through the whole thing with a Lamia race, and keep making more characters for each mod I keep installing XD I actually burned myself out really badly as a result though, and haven't played or wanted to play in quite some time

Spirit Tracks is actually the only Zelda game I bothered to 100% just because it was so simple to XD As for Skyward Sword, yeah, you and everyone else :xFtongue: I thought it did what it set out to do just fine, though

first ever Zelda Game was a link to the past. Loved the hell out if it and most of the other zelda games. Was not a big fan of MM.

I played full Vanilla when it came out and when they released the full story. Personal Favorite race are the Novakids. (sucker for Firefly)

I 100% all of them from OoT - TP, and Link Between Worlds. Hated SS so I didn't bother. Not gonna do it for BotW. Even if I wanted to, the world is too large lol.

Nooooo! You'd be surprised how many people loooovveeeddd the motion controls! I was on forums trying to find out if there was a way to disable them and man, so many people Stan it!

Ocarina of Time and Majoras Mask were my absolute favorite Legend of Zelda games

Yeah, BotW is definitely not meant to be 100% XD

Really? Literally everywhere I go is filled with people who don't want to bother adapting to motion controls at all, much less Skyward Sword's like the motion controls
