Once Ketu found out that the man wasn't going to hurt Ping, the dragon girl relaxed a little bit and went back to her place, shifting back into her dragon form and relaxing under the tree once more. She felt the gust of wind of the man disappearing and Pings voice rang through the air of them needing to go into a town. Her green head swiveled around to the woman and huffed. "Although I am totally against going into a town, you need to see a doctor." The female dragon said to the woman, sitting up and going to her side once more. "You may ride on my back for easier travels. You're still very weak and would prefer you to." The dragon urged. She nudged the pregnant weak woman with her nose, her tail swishing around as she waited for the woman to climb on.

Ping watched Ketu as the green-haired girl was now a dragon, speaking her thoughts against the idea and then mentioning a doctor. This caused the woman to frown at the thought, not up to or wanting to answer questions, or be treated like a child and chastised. She had a feeling why Ketu was suggesting this though and watched Ketu ambling up to her, the dragon nudging her lightly with her snout. A sigh escaped the woman as she looked down at the ground.

“I don’t much like the idea of going to a doctor,” said Ping. “But I imagine you wish me to have the child checked on.” She should have questioned Zefra on the status of her child, asked if he could tell if the reason the child fought to live was due to magic as a tamer but he was male and she had been startled to see him, afraid he would be angry for losing contact with his speaker and her friend. Grasping the hoe with one hand as Ketu spoke of her being weak still and insisting she ride in the dragon’s back, Ping couldn’t help the look of surprise that slipped onto her face.

“Ride you? It’s been...it’s been years...”

Ping's voice trailed off as she grew silent, looking over Ketu as the dragon expectantly waited and showed no signs of giving in. She then looked up at the sky, trying to gather how much daylight they had left. It seemed they had a good chunk day left before it would grow dark if they left now for the sun’s position was not at its zenith. The thought struck her that she had no money of which to purchase things nor anything of significant value to trade. The only things of sentimental value were her bag, a few scales from Hailong, and...no...how could she trade or sell that?

With some reluctance, Ping dropped the hoe onto the ground once more and opened her bag, pullling out a piece of parchment. Keeping ahold of her bag, the woman climbed onto Ketu’s back and settled herself. “Loathe as I am to do this, I have no money of which to purchase things nor anything of which to trade. This goes against everything I was taught but I am afraid we will have to resort to stealing for the things we need.”

Priscilla sighed "Xander you know I can handle myself, there is no need to worry ok? I am talking to another of your kind at the moment. If you are so worried you can come meet up with us." Her attention was soon turned to the hydra in front of her "I am always welcoming to dragon kind," she says and puts her hand over her chest and bows slightly. "You have the most fascinating visions for sure," she says softly. "You were trapped and tortured? My kind do not fully grasp the dangers and how disrespectful they are when they do such things to dragons."

Minaya's eyes narrowed at Xander's mentioning of his trainer. That explained why he had stayed here. Had to be near his "master".
"I'm not interesting in conversing with your...human." She said in a cold tone. "I'm here because..."
She broke off, considering the message. Her father couldn't have meant to connect with the human. But this dragon...maybe?
"I'm searching for someone." She finished, feeling that's all she wanted to reveal yet. "Another dragon from the East."

Okil Brightscale
The dragoness snorted. She leaned her head down to stare at the human. She met Priscilla’s eyes with one dark green orb and blinked slowly. “It has been long since I have been on friendly terms with a human. Much less one bearing another.” Okil nodded to the woman’s stomach.

She took a deep breath. Priscilla seemed very welcoming. Her presence was warm and unafraid, almost reverant. Okil smiled to herself. She was one of the last known hydras. Her kind was powerful and rare, and her legacy would live on. Rather than gloat, Okil returned to her question before.

“I can accompany you back to your residence, if you have one. I would like to see what the humans nowadays are up to.” With that, Okil closed the ruffs along her necks with a snap, and transformed into her human form. Wobbling a bit, she made her way over to Priscilla, offering her hand.

Ketu flinched when she felt the woman touch her scales and climb on. The dragon wasn't fully okay with this, but the woman wouldn't be able to walk much further. The green dragon took a deep breath and before switching her gaze to the woman. She listened to the woman talk about not having any money to buy things, the dragon sighing at the words of stealing. "I'll let you take a few of my underbelly scales and see if they will take them for exchange. My underbelly ones are the less painful to pull out." She explained to the woman, taking a few steps towards the smell of a town. The weight of the woman shifted awkwardly on the dragons back, the dragon stopping to readjust the woman before continuing again. It was a weird feeling to her, having weight on her back. Ping had experience on a dragons back, but Ketu was new to the whole tamer and dragon thing.

Priscilla bowed again "it would be my honor for you to travel back to my room with me. The dragon that travels with me is currently there and I am sure he would love to meet you," she smiles and turns to begin walking back into town with the hydra that currently looked human. "I saw your smoke visions and I have questions but I am sure you have questions regarding myself so ask away," she chuckles.

It was strange for Ping to be on a dragon’s back once more, one hundred thirty years in captivity making the experience rough and her skills rusty but as the dragon moved, the woman found herself slowly getting back into the ambling gait. Still it would not be an overnight process, Ping would need to learn much of her experience over again and fall back into her training and good memories which were buried. When Ketu spoke to her, sighing at her words as if she were reluctant to do so, she yet offered her underbelly scales as an exchange. “That is a kind offer,” spoke Ping. “I suspect you might have gotten on with Hailong despite being of water and earth respectively,” she said. “But I have never known a tamer to have more than one dragon at a time.”

Ping allowed Ketu to carry her to the closest human settlement, leaving her temporary home behind. She was not too concerned by Zefra finding her but if the sky dragon god could find her then others might as well. It was best they move soon, perhaps even in the evening once everything was taken care of. At last reaching the human city, Ping slid off Ketu’s back to the ground below.

“You can remain on the edge of the city or you can transform and come into the city with me if you like,” offered Ping. “I would say you can walk around in your true form but I doubt the people here respect and fear the gods as is only proper.” She did not mention that as she knew nothing of the people in this land that and was thus unsure if they might see the gods as good. From Ketu she saw how they were treated like animals and status symbols.

Pulling out her list which she’d tucked into her bag on the ride to town, the woman again looked it over and then to her bag. Removing it from her person she opened it and then studied Ketu internally. “You May either lie in your side or back or balance on your hind legs, exposing your stomach and throat,” Ping said. Usually she would collect fallen scales when grooming or they were naturally shed but couldn’t be sure the gods here were the same way. Plus Ketu was still getting used to her presence, the woman did not want to overburden the god.

Fawynn finally reached the human town and parked the car in a space in front of one of the stores. She would take the chance to walk around and do her shopping by foot. Locking the car, Fawynn skid the key into her robe and looked at the list, then up at the store she was in before heading to the doors and entering the General Store where she’d be able to purchase dry goods, clothing and blankets.

The teen continued to lay in the sunlight, smiling at the warmth he was feeling in his bones from the gift of sunlight. That imperial, blazing, billowing ball of energy in the sky gave him strength. The sun was really something magical. Plants relied on it for food, and it seemed to be the beginning and end of everything. Humans based the idea of time around it. Without it, there would be nothing. The thief was actually rather grateful for the sun, for it didn’t discriminate. He could come to it with nothing and it would still give him warmth. Dang people and their unappreciation of the sun.

There was suddenly a vibration and unfortunate rumble from the stomach of the thief, and he sat up and opened his eyes, staring at it in shock. “Man, are you doing okay there?” He asked, giving it a soft poke and concerned look. When it gurgled once more, the thief made a sort of groan and started to ease to his feet. With a fanciful slide, the thief got down from the rooftop and landed softly on his feet, adjusting his hat to conceal his ears better. So he couldn’t go back to the wrap guy, for he’d be recognized almost immediately. Instead he needed to snag some coins off someone and go to maybe the bakery. He felt that a good piece of bread could soothe his aching stomach. However, the fun part would be getting enough coins for it.

The thief had dropped into an alley, sheltered from the soothing light by the shadow of the church as he began to pick out his target. He selected a random female elf who was headed into a general store and he casually crossed the street and innocently strode towards the store. He gave the car a surpassing glance, but didn’t note anything worth his time in there. So instead the teen pushed the door open after the elf, eyes lowered and aimed for around her waistline. He was searching for lumps or even a money bag exposed that suggested the presence of coins. Depending on where the goods were, that’s which side he’d strike on. All it would take would be for him to walk past her, and he could swoop up a loose bag. If she seemed wary of his presence, he had methods of appearing even more innocent. Then he’d be out of there in a flash. So the thief just began to do a quick lap around the store, appearing to be browsing, but in reality- he was on alert for any other eyes that would snitch.

Fawynn was somewhat known in the various human and elf settlements, both due to being a sibling of the “Crimson Blade” as Sarmenor was known and for her knowledge of healing and the her role within the monestary in which she lived. Entering the store, the elf greeted the owner with a wave, earning one and a smile in return before he would turn to tend to a customer. The woman pulled glanced over her list, swing what could be purchased within this store.

Sack of flour x 5
Sack of rice x 5
Sack of beans x 5
Sack of oats x 5
Wool blankets x 10
Thread and needles
Milk x 50
Cheese and butter x 20

I can get all that here. Fawynn nodded in confirmation, tapping the list with a finger and causing it to glow white for a second. That would cross out everything as it was purchased. For such a big purchase she would be making use of her element and bringing forth water creatures to help her.

Fawyn’s money bag was tied tied with a leather cord around a sash that wound around her waist, the yellow robe trailing to her feet and sweeping across the ground as she moved. As someone rushed past her, the elf turned her head to lol, briefly glimpsing a hooded figure who appeared quitter young before he vanished within the depths of the store. How odd. He really needs a bath and a good change of clothing.

Shrugging it off, Fawynn began moving through the store to collect the items she would need here. Tapping each item briefly and letting her magic flow through, Fawynn caused everything to become lighter. Gathering each item up in her arms as she collected it, Fawynn was currently pursuing the rice and filling one of the cloth sacks with it.

Taibaz lifted his head as he heard his partner’s voice enter his head, deep like thunder but soft like rain. “At the docks,” Taibaz answered. “Off to your old tricks?”

A rumbling laugh came echoed in the air as the dragon spotted a glimer of gold and stepped back to sweep it up with a paw. “No. I am searching for items to ensure you have a warm place to sleep tonight young wyrm,” spoke Jeizara.

“I will be fine as I have been on the streets Jeizara,” came the tired voice of Taibaz.

“You have suffered much in your short life. I am your only friend and life heart. It’s my job to care for you Taibaz.”

The dragon paused to sweep up another metal, this one of not much value with it being copper but still it would sell. “Borsten is on the coast.”

“Do not cause trouble Jeizara,” warned Taibaz. The tamer had now come to the place where he had worked for three years and stared at the children and adults who were working on building a new ship.

“I do not plan on it. I will go hunting later, for now stay where you are. It isn’t safe.”

“I didn’t plan on going anywhere Jeizara. I can always find something to steal.”

“Hmmph. You are lucky I allow that.”

“Says the dragon who would still be terrorizing villagers if you hadn’t grown bored. Nobody controls me Jeizara, not you or anyone else.”

Feeling his tamer’s anger, the land sky dragon tumbled to himself before looking up and over in Borsten’s direction. The land god continued standing there, either ignoring or taking no notice of the tame dragon. “Borsten. Why do elves seek the elimination of dragons?”

It took one round for the thief to pick out maybe one snitch other than the victim. They were out of the owner's line of sight. The youth slowed his round and made a face like he didn't know where to look for whatever he was interested in. The thief then edged down the isle this elf was in. Upon closer approach, the back of his mind whispered, Great shining stars, I forgot how beautiful Elves are. It made him almost feel guilty for doing this. The critical word there was "almost".

The stranger then seemed to get an Aha and his face lit up in his best deceptive act, eyes landing on a sack of flour of all things. He approached it and leaned over, his back to his future victim. He picked up one, and then got another before the thief wobbled. "Uh, uh." He started to say before he dramatically fell backwards, hitting this elf and going crashing to the floor with these heavy sacks. "Gah!" He yelped, dropping the bags and releasing an unintentional explosion of flour onto himself. Crap! Now I'll have to get that off... He mentally whined. The thief made a series of coughs, starting to stammer out an apology in his best Elven accent... which wasn't very convincing. Maybe the dusty air could cover some suspicion.

Fawynn was not paying attention to what was going on around her, the elven woman not expecting anything to happen. It had taken the elven woman time to build up a reputation in the various settlements she had visited and there had been some issues with some people but she had gotten the various humans and elves to trust and respect her through hard work. Thus she did not think any more of the stranger who had rushed past earlier. As she was filling the sack with the required item requested by the high monk, Fawynn senses someone behind her but assumed they were mwmerley looking for items. She divided to be helpful. They might be new and she knew such a feeling.

“Each of these barrels contains some type of dried goods. There is more if you ask the owner in the back,” Fawynn said. “Of course there are also sacks you can get as well already full which you will see around you.” Yet the person did not reply and instead moved to her side, the woman keeping her magic at bay until she had the sack of rice full.

A single word was all the woman had time to hear, “Gah,” before she was knocked off balance and crashed to the floor. Hands slipping from the sack of rice she had been filling, it dropped to the floor, spillling it’s contents everywhere. She couldn’t tell, either one of the sacks of flour the stranger had been holding split open on impact or had not been sewn shut all the way and she doubted the latter. Suddenly it was all over, mixing with the rice on the floor and covering the things she had managed to collect already.

Coughing from the flour in the air, the stranger also doing so, Fawynn’s ears picked up the stuttering reply of the person who had fallen into her. It sounded elvish to her ears, but it was rare she went to an elvish settlement and there were not many elf monks in her monestary. Come to think of it, there were few elven monks at all. She sighed to herself and tapped the stranger on the shoulder. “Do...ye mind...ge...get...ti...ng off,” she coughed out.

Jade Zerin - Tamer - 96 - Dragon: Taken
Jade finally got back to the house slumping against a tree for a bit. She was tired, so tired that she didn't feel like messing with the doe, but she knew she had too. So she worked on it, getting it set up for her to cut into it and make a meal for her and her baby. She paused the baby dragon wasn't hers...she shook her head slightly. "You just have to find their parents. Once that's done you probably will never see them again." She told herself a bit of sadness finding it's way into her heart. She finished up with the doe and head in stopping at the door. "Babies I'm back..." She said before walking in, she wondered how the two were doing. Did the blue one speak yet or not, she also needed to name them if they didn't have names already. She couldn't call them baby one and baby two until she found their parents. Smiling she walked over to the egg and blue dragon. "I'm not sure if you have a name little one but until you tell me...I think I'll call you Lumi. It means snow and with your blue coloring and cool body I imagine your are either a snow or ice dragon." Her attention turned to the egg lightly touching it, "Next I will call you Shadow for now until you hatch...then I might change your name. I'm not sure if all dragons eggs are black to begin with or not. Though I suppose it doesn't matter what I call you two when I find your parents." She said with a soft smile. "Do baby dragons eat raw meat for would you like it cooked Lumi? Nod once for cooked or twice for raw...unless you can speak then that would be a big help but you seem young still so I wouldn't be surprised if you haven't mastered talking yet." Not that Jade was thinking correctly because in order to cook anything she needed to buidl a fire. The thought dawned on her and she simply wanted to curl up into a ball can go to sleep.

Though I must admit it isn't often that others come us and aren't looking for my tamer. So that interests me... anything I can do for you?" Darrin Holloway - Tamer - 94 - Dragon: Taken
He had been following her when she ventured off, "Hey where do you think you're going..." Reaching out to stop her but pausing as she bent down in front of the hidden room. Knocking the panel loose and pulling it away, how had she known it was there. Was it her magic? His body trembled slightly, how could she know about it. How could she have the same name and eyes color...and her hair. It was all the same, but she wasn't like his sister and then she spoke of her last name. It felt like the world shifted and Darrin's legs almost gave out from under him. This was his sister, yet she wasn't his sister. It made his heart break far more than what he had expected. Just what exactly had she been out through that made her forget him. That made her forget their home and the happy memories within this house... "Did you forget about me...how come you can't remember me or this place what about our parents. Surely you haven't forgotten the good memories of our parents. I...I'm so sorry Amalia...if I...if I had just been stronger they would have never gotten their hands on you." He wanted to go over and pull her into a hug. But did he even have the right to.. would it scare her off. She didn't seem to remember him so to her he was nothing more than a stranger and that hurt.

Borsten had taken notice of the dragon walking along the beach. But he hadn't paid much mind to it he was just enjoying the feel of earth beneath his feet before he vanished once more. However he did not expect the other dragon to be brave enough to talk with him. He knew the dragon was a mix, half sky half land so of course the dragon knew who he was. He turned to the dragon with a sigh, "The only conclusion we have come up with is that they are power hungry creatures. Wishing for their race to be the supreme one and it was rough taking them on and also facing the humans. So this is why we three Ancients granted humans their powers and the ability to bond with dragons. Had we not there would have been a good chance that the elves would be pulling the world right now." he shrugged, "Then again this is only my speculation on the matter."

The youth imitated a cough before making a real one. He'd spaced out beforehand when she started talking to him, for the tone hadn't sounded hostile. Now it seemed... maybe mildly irritated. The patience was remarkable. Last time this trick was pulled, the victim had gotten violent with him. It seemed women were much more reasonable than any man. "I'm s-sorry! " He got out before starting to scramble to get up and try to pull the bags off her.

That was the opportunity. She was partially blinded and stunned. During that moment, while he went for a sack, the thief's fingertips brushed that little money pouch. Because of the slick coating, the thief found it difficult to pull on the string subtly. So he made a morrow obvious yank on it, ready to drop that sack on her just run for the door if the attempt was noticed.

For certain, he needed to read more on pickpocketing. Surprisingly enough, the thief was a reader. Well, sometimes when bored and hungry enough, he wasn't above eating the pages. He only tore off little scraps of the ends, leaving the words alone- even if he hated the characters. Most books had characters he despised, simply because they shared a name with someone he didn't like. He was a thief and allowed to be a judgemental prick.

The hybrid dragon was not expecting the land god to answer him at all so when Borsten turned to face him, the dragon rumbling to himself as Borsten began to speak, saying neither he nor Zefra nor the sea smelling ocean hair goddess were unsure of the exact reason why elves hated dragons. Jeizara had never paid much attention to who the aquatic goddess was, that was the responsibility of dragons like his sixteenth brother who was an aquatic dragon and his twin brother who was half water and half sky dragon. Or their sister nest mate who was half land half water. “That explains stories I have heard concerning this mysterious Crimson Blade,” spoke Jeizara. An elf who would take on both wild dragon and tame dragon was something that disturbed the hybrid.

“Power...everyone is after power. Dragon, man and elf but elves have more capabilities to accomplish such a feat while humans have unlimited numbers despite their short lives.” Jeizara shook his head as he sensed something and turned his head to the ocean. “I know you are out...” a jet of water hit the dragon in his face, causing him to sputter and cough, eyes flashing as out of the water a sinewy neck popped out.

“Jeizara come play!” A silver bluish-green dragon popped his head out of the water, underbelly covered in silver scales with a pair of black eyes.

81DAC1D6-875B-4AF7-B898-869EA43181DC.jpeg

“Siblings,” grunted Jeizara. “I am busy and you have interrupted a conversation with the land god concerning my sire’s demise.”

“Land god play too!”

A dry sigh escaped Jeizara. “Borsten likely has other matters to attend to then playing. Go find the water goddess and pester her.” At his brother’s keening whine which grated on the dragon’s short temper, Jeizara closed his eyes briefly. “Fine. I will bring Taibaz here.”

Turning from the ocean, his brother disappeared beneath the blue waters and swam off, Jeizara shook his head again, dropping his findings within the sandy beach and covering them up. “That explains some things,” spoke Jeizara after a bit. “Thank you Borsten. I will take my leave now.” With that the dragon spread his wings and reared back on his hind legs before jumping into the air, flapping his wings to get his bulk off the ground before flying back to mainland and heading further inland.

Jeizara flew for some time, passing over countryside and sea fairing villages, even a human port. The dragon briefly contemplated killing humans for a meal but knew Taibaz would not like such a meal so he had to hunt away from the humans. Some hours had passed in which he found a forest that seemed like it might be promising. The dragon settled down within a large enough clearing to land and folded his wings against his sides, head lowering in thought until it was touching his chest. “Hmmm.”

The stranger who had fell onto her scrambled to his feet, still stammering apologies and reached out a hand to help the elven woman to her feet. Still coughing at the dust of flour in the air, the woman was blinded temporarily by the flour as the man, who she still assumed to be an elf, began struggling with the bags on her while Fawynn attempted to wipe some flour from her eyes. At first she did not feel the suitable tug, more inclined to get to her feet and try to survey any potential damage, but did notice the insistent tugging moments later. The look on the woman’s face changed from gratefulness to surprise and then anger in a few seconds.

“What pray tell do ye think ye doing?” Fawynn hissed as she pulled water from the air and shaped it into claws on her fingers, using said hand to balance herself as she was not yet on her feet. It took a lot to anger Fawynn, assault upon her person was one thing she did not tolerate. It was a natural conclusion to jump to however the stranger seemed interested in something else.

The resulting stronger tug and tear caused Fawynn to stumble once more and her momentary relieved sigh that he was somewhat civilized enough to not try deceitful acts upon a complete stranger disappeared when the woman no longer felt the money pouch hanging from the sash around her waist. Frowning, she looked first at herself to see that she was mostly free of the flour that had fallen on the man but her money bag was missing. She knew it had been here moments ago and she lifted her head, swiping her water claws in front of her and whisking away the flour that blinded her. Streaming down her cheeks Fawynn blinked violently before focusing on the stranger before her, seeing he had her bag.

“I would give that back if I were you,” Fawynn hissed, her once caring demeanor gone with the fact that she was being stolen from. Raising her clawed hand, Fawynn curled her hand into a fist, manipulating the water on her hands into a water whip that she froze the end with a twitch of her wrist before raising her hand again, the claws of water still on her fingers as she froze them at will. Normally she would never fight in a store but that money she had been given was saved up the rest of the year for such big purchases as these. Any other money the monestary got was put into maintaining the building and grounds.

So she's no fool after all. Well, I suppose I have an awful lot of running to do. The thief thought with little enthusiasm before his mismatched eyes began to grow wide and he took a step back. What- His eyes fell onto those talons that seemed to be appearing from mid air, liquid claws that could rip through his flesh with ease. Is that water? How did she- Not now, question later, run now!

The thief gathered his composure and flashed the bag he'd snagged for a moment with a mocking grin. "Sorry Beautiful, but a guy has to eat!" The Elven accent dropped along with that innocent facade he'd been displaying. Now she looked like quite the enemy, and he wasn't interested in fighting, especially not a really pretty elf with a scary lash. The thief backed up before snagging a random object off the shelf behind him and throwing it to try and form a distraction from that whip. He knew how much those things hurt, and if wielded properly- how they could swipe someone's feet out from under them in one strike.

So the thief took that chance while she dealt with whatever that was to try and bolt down the isle, heading for the exit. With the crash commotion, the owner had started to approach and made an alarmed yell as a scrawny teen hip checked him when he'd gotten in his way. See, it was all about physics. Bigger and brawnier guys like to knock each other around with their shoulders- which was based on size, weight, and strength. However, hip checks were far superior. Gaining a lower ground by crouching slightly and striking fast, even a little guy like this thief could bash a grown elf away. This hit on the shopkeeper did take him a few moments to recover from, giving time for Fawynn to lash out and maybe snag him before he gained any ground. If she did manage to attack and caught up, he was more likely to drop the bag and then run rather than try and fight against a magic user. This thief, like many, was all talk.

"If I have any change left, I'll send it your way!" His brazenness was almost impressive. Hunger made people do crazy things. Perhaps he meant this, perhaps not. It was difficult to tell when someone had stalked you into a store, stolen your coins, thrown things at you, and was now running off to the Gods know where. Dang Elves and their magic. He bitterly thought to himself. I can't compete with that. Just let me get away, c'mon! I'm hungry.

Ketu watched the woman rummage through her back before looking at the green dragon. Ketu was already on edge from being so close to a town as is, but this woman needed to be taken care of. Her mind fell blank for a minute as the woman mentioned about her scales until tje female remembered she offered to give some. The dragon got on her back haunches, wanting to pull out the scales herself. She knew which scales were loose, not wanting the woman to pull out a fresh scale. Her nails ran across her stomach, plucking 7 loose green and glowing scales and handing it to the pregnant woman before shifting into her human form. "I'm coming with. Making sure you actually go to the doctor and also making sure you stay safe." The now green haired woman rumbled to her new tamer. She was still against the idea of going into a town but knew that Ping needed to go.

Fawynn watched as the figure dropped their act, the elvish accent disappearing. This caused the woman’s frown to deepen. Though she knew there were elves who caused mischief, usually the lower citizens tended to do that. As an object came flying at her, the commotion startled the owner who came to see what the issue was, only to get knocked into himself as allow the thief to run. The woman was forced to dive to the side as she realized it would be too heavy to stop and landed in the flour and rice scatterd about the floor, her concentration wavering and releasing the whip to nothing more than normal form as it soaked both elf and floor. Mess. Scrambling to get to get to her feet, she cursed as she slipped, throwing the claws at the stranger instead as he shouted he would return any change to her. She ran down the aisles after the fool, doubting much that he would return the favor. “Give that back which is not yours,” she said.

Ping watched as Ketu exhibited restlessness at being so close to a city, shuddering uneasily. Watching as Ketu fell back onto her back and began pulling off underbelly scales, seven in total before handing them to her, Ping took them and slid them into a small pocket on her bag. Ketu would then shift, commenting on coming with Ping to make sure she went to the doctor and for protection detail. “You’re welcome to do so,” Ping said. Then frowning, she glanced at her bag again before reaching into it and rooting around through the seeds until she found something. Closing her eyes, she released her magic into whatever she had found before pulling out...an aqua glowing crystal heart-shaped necklace on a silver chain, slipping the necklace around Ketu’s neck and then released her hand after a minute.

There would be a pulsing humming coming from the necklace, followed by an intense burning radiating and then fade into ice cold with flickers of heat and warmth on the edges, seeping up the chain. “Please guard that with your life,” Ping spoke. The woman gave no other explanation but shouldered her bag and began walking along the path to a side road. She was taking a big risk here with that action, she just hoped Ketu could be trusted.

Okil Brightscale
Okil tilted her head, pondering the questions she had. “How did you... meet Arputi? Is she nice?” Okil had long searched for anyone with connections to the dragon gods, and to stumble upon Priscilla could not have been a coincidence. Would her redemption come soon?

The girl stroked her cheek, subconciously tracing the raised “tattoos”, or rather, brands, on her face. The swirling patterns had been indicative of her stature as a dragon, and were forced upon her in her years of capture. She bore them proudly now, knowing that the kingdom that had wronged her was burnt to the ground. The only trouble Okil had was finding the single heir to the throne who had escaped through her razor talons.

"Did you get us that um. Jerky you told us about? I don't mind taking his portion if he doesn't wake up."
Kai Takeshi
Hearing the certain word Jerky finally woken up from his slumber. Sitting up wiping his eyes trying to force them open Kai yawned. His scarf around his neck nicely as he looked up at the two with one eye barely open. "No need to take my portion."

"Both of you guys never stop amazing me of your hunger. Honestly you act like I don't feed you on the daily. And in large portions at that! I'm coming more out of my pocket then Kai has taking a crap behind the tree."
Kazusho
Lowering his head to their level he listened to the elf speak of her annoyance of buying them constant food. "We did tell you we can find our food on our own."
Kai Takeshi
Stretching again he nodded after Kazusho. "Yeah some good ol'pork!" Kai said with drool dripping down from the corner of his mouth.

"She is wiser than any of either of our kinds. Our goddess had blessed me with the job of being her speaker. Enough about me. I wish to know more about your origins. It isn't every day that you get to see a hydra after all!" She chuckles and moves her hand down to her belly. "Calm little one mommy is busy," she chuckles again obviously embarrassed. "Xander what are you up to?" She asked mentally.

Ketu was confused as to why Ping was trusting her with such a powerful amulet. Her power waves started to radiate to nothing once the necklace calmed down. It was as if she didn't have powers. Her green hair turned to a dark brown, and her green eyes turned blue. It made her look like a normal human at the time being. She could feel the burning power of the amulet against her chest, amd hearing ping tell her she needs to guard it with her life, made the female dragon nod and follow the woman into town. She still wasn't happy to be in a town, but she knew Ping needed it. Last time she was in a town she was in a cage half alive. Ping saved her from dying there but she was scared she was going to get caught and go back.

Ping turned briefly to see Ketu nodding at her before getting very far along the path. Upon reaching the side road, she traversed along it, hearing Ketu's footsteps behind her as she moved away from the forest safety and towards the town full of different people that were quite likely different from her. It would only be when Ketu caught up to her that the woman would notice the change in the dragon from her normal human appearance, the tamer glancing towards the amulet with a quizzical look before turning away. This would do, it would make things much more easier for the dragon if Ping were unable to go into town for some reason. When she got into the main street, she headed along it, one hand gripping the strap of her bag tightly that her knuckles turned white.

Ping was forced to ask around to where there was a doctor and was pointed down the main street half a block away from the General Store. The woman headed down that way, figuring she may as well get this done and out of the way as she had no desire to remain in town any longer than was absolutely necessary though it wouldn't matter if she ended up moving her and Ketu somewhere else in the evening. Ping mentally sighed to herself as she found the doctor where the resident of this town had said she would and walked inside, The woman shook her head and walked up to the secretary who was writing something on paper, the woman glad there didn't seem to be anyone else here that she could see but for her and Ketu.

"Excuse me. I would like to...see a doctor," said Ping.

"Do you have an appointment miss...?"

"Meifeng Zhao," spoke Ping, having no desire to use her real name.

"And the woman behind you?" questioned the man.

Ping turned her head towards Ketu. The dragon had not spoken of needing to see a doctor and she doubted Ketu would allow it anyway. "My brother's wife is just here with me while he shops," said Ping. She pulled out one of the glowing scales from the front pocket of her bag and handed it over. "I hope you will accept this in place of money," Ping said, holding still as the man took the scale and held it to the light that shone through the window. Ping had used his name and his father’s family name as a fake name, other times she would use Hailong as her name first name when needed despite it being a male name. The minutes passed as she waited uncertainly before the man marked something down on a fresh sheet of parchment.

"So you require a full examination?"

"Yes," said Ping. Biting her lip she frowned and then spoke up. "I'm also with child," she said, causing the man to stare at her.

"And who is the father?"

"There is no father," Ping said shortly. When the man opened his mouth to respond, Ping's eyes darkened. The man seemed to realize it was no use arguing with the woman nor sparks of fire on her finger tips or the gust of wind that blew through the room, unconscious actions on Ping's part.

"Very well miss. You may sit and wait while I get the doctor." He then got up and hurried into a back room, leaving Ping to exhale and head to an empty chair.
