Fantasy The Order of Seven - OOC

So, I'm having a hard time choosing the next arc. Can you help me?

I won't spoil what we'll be doing, but you can vote on the setting which will choose the arc:

1. The underground city of Edinburgh, sealed off after the plague hit Europe (it actually exists, I've been there)

2. The Black Forest

3. The open seas off the coast of Spain

If you have your own ideas for an arc please tell me. It's always more fun if we come up with things together. XD

1. The underground city of Edinburgh, sealed off after the plague hit Europe (it actually exists, I've been there): This sounds fascinating!

2. The Black Forest: Bryony in her element! Albeit still needing to play at being human, plus potentially awkward interactions with unbound Fairy...

3. The open seas off the coast of Spain: Neither station nor nature give her much to do here...which is fine, just gives other PCs an opportunity to shine.

*whispers* but which one do you like best?

Hard to say! #2 potentially gives Bryony the most to do but #1 is the most interesting to me personally. #3 is the one I'm least inclined to, though there's the potential of fun there as well.

We don't have a vampire yet.

And you'd give Luna Lockhart someone to fret about.

Seems the obvious choice to me! ;)

Hmmm...Why Indeed.

That does sound like an idea, but I'm unsure. I had been leaning towards the Wendigo or something, but that seems like another great idea. I'm back on the edge of indecision. :D

The Wendigo would have the same rules applied as a werewolf. In control for 10 years or more without incident.
The abilities of each creature are diverse and the interesting elements come from having to work as a team.
You can do a bit of research and choose something else. A good way to do it is to pick a nationality you want for your character and then go and investigate what supernatural beings were apart of the culture and mythology.

Sounds pretty neaterino, neighborino.

So I upped the stakes, pass your grievances on to Jonathan.
So arson, reckless endangerment, destruction of property? You can bet there will be reprecussions from the order. ^^'

I should point out that being an order member does not make one immune to the law.

Two things

One: I know it breaks Order policy but when you have a bunch of rats coming down on you, with only a sword and pistol, you get desperate. Jon also is a wild card and I think that's mentioned in the character sheet. Meaning he's independent and off the charts and used to doing things his way. I just thought that was the best way to fend off some rats and all the othe shiz.

Two: I understand how this could be irritating and I'll admit I was a little...intoxicated when I wrote it. Honestly say the word and I'll edit it. Your point is valid, heavily, and if you want me to I'll edit it in a heartbeat and won't be mad at all.

Welp, I've done some research.
Apparently the Wendigo is from Canada/America and is related to greed and cannibalism.
*looking at the time*
I got a few hours till I got to rest...its almost Witching Hour 0o0.

So, I'm wondering if the character could have joined the Order rather recently. Maybe the trail would be incomplete or something?

I will leave the choice to you. There will be reprecussions though, probably something like Jon being put on probation and given an assessment officer (babysitter) to evaluate his performance. It would make for some interesting character devo, I was thinking of making that officer Thaddeus.

I'm not sure what you mean by a trail being incomplete.

Well, There is a 5 Year Trial for the Were beasts. I thought I could make a character that is new to the Order- (Maybe about a year in?) So of course the Trail would be incomplete. Would that be allowed?

No. That is specifically not allowed. They are not admitted to or even allowed to work with the order before the trial's end.

I like your idea SilverFlight SilverFlight and am willing to do that. I think this is better that way and honestly Jon deserves to get his ass chewed. I think it'd be good for the character. Putting a childs life at risk should receive disciplinary actions. He was careless because of his desperation.

But putting Thaddeus above him to oversee him would be even better. I already know Jon will be bitter as hell having a werewolf assessing him. I also think that could kinda force our character relationship we've discussed via PM.

On a side note and an OOC one I promise I won't make a habit of this IC. Meaning I won't let Jon continuously break the Orders rules. Because I do understand were your coming from. If he kept on doing that then he wouldn't even be a member of the Order. I just thought it made sense IC this one time.

Not to mention his own life. It was a bold choice, and I'm really grateful you're acknowledging the world I set up. Trust me Thaddeus isn't going to be any happier, I was thinking about our character talks as I came up with this. XD This is gonna be fun.

And don't worry, the next arc we will be out of the crowded city and we'll have much more freedom to set things on fire/blow them up without getting arrested. I promised The Gunrunner The Gunrunner I would do this.

Bombs, blood, and fire

BloodThunder27 BloodThunder27

Hey, seeming how the group kinda split up and Prenkus, Luna, Iona and Jon were the one to run after him. (I think) Would you want to post next or would you be okay with me posting to go off of what Prenkus did?

I will see to having a post up Sunday Evening when I return home from work.

Drunkle Qrow Drunkle Qrow Good post, but there are a couple of obstacles there I would like you to address. 1. The rats are everywhere, including the courtyard. 2. The building where Prenkus and Jon are, that is on fire.
