Fantasy The Light of Aiaran OOC

Gotta shout out to MangoSargent MangoSargent and Rhodus Prime Rhodus Prime !
FMA and Soul Eater are my favorite Animes and Mafune and General Armstrong are great characters ^^

Anyways, my CS is up. Used a template I made for another character to make the CS. Background doesn't look all that great though >.>

Soo, can I join? I have an idea for a character, a sort of zealous but slightly somber paladin who is part of an now disbanded order of knights who claim to be descendent of the first champions blessed by The Goddess Aiaran whom they refer to as the Et'adda (subject to change).

This Order of Knights was elitist and only taught magic, both holy and vile (dark, shadow, black, demonic, blood, necromancy, pie-nomancy and the like. Assuming their is a difference. Edit: Read all the character sheets and now know that Devan Magic is completely unquie to each individual Devan so I'm going to have to change this) to thouse whom they believe to be descendent of the Et'adda while basic martial training was given to all who could pass their tests. Vile magic, as they term it, was not be used any circumstances and was taught to give the Desendent an edge against their foes who employ it extensively. (So they theoretically know how to use such magicks but had no practice in doing so and would not be effective at using them.) As a whole, Magic that was not Holy or Vile were largely unknown to them as it served no purpose to their duties as Devan Slayers.

They also impressed apon the importance of their code of chivalry (which actually means horsemanship in French, which they are proficient at) called The Salvation Mantra. Which holds, along with other, much more admirable doctrines, a hypocritically Devan attuide regarding the, well, Devan. Essentially it is the same view the 'civilised' Devan hold for the Feral. "The more Feral kills under your belt the more respected and of higher status you were." "To die in combat gloriously usually meant the immortalization of the Devan in question if they were of any real significance" however infighting was typically at most just friendly rivalry and a brave death against the Devan would be celebrated even if the subject of the jubilations were exiled for necromancy.

This once proud order of knights has been reduced to a single bloodline over the eons (subject to change) and with his parents' untimely deaths, Sampson Arin is all that remains, and that is not something he allow to persist.

So Mitchs98 Mitchs98 are you okay with this.

Is it possible to have a two in one character? Lile a rider and a mount, or twins?
Yes. Yes it is. I did just that with Luciel.

That sounds really cool o:. Yes of course that's fine to do :3

zCrookedz zCrookedz and I just edited on a question on the end of that post. Thanks for the like anyways. :D
lol usually if I have the time to sit and read stuff I will like it if it tickles my fancy. I liked your paladin idea, love playing paladans myself, but I got yanked away this morning with work before I could finish it. ^^ I shall like it now.

Oh. Thanks, again. :angel3:
This is the first time I've tried playing a overtly religous character, I was inspired by some fanart and a D&D story. The fanart had a winged pladin which I was orginaly going to do but considering that their were mutiple avian shapeshifters already I decided agaist it. Prehaps he could have 'light wings'.

It's pretty much your a-typical fantasy worship. Nothing really special. Though less 'KILL THE HERETIC' if they don't believe and more 'meh'
Okay. Sooo, what are their views on homosexulaity, lycanthropes, vampires, sex before marraige, acholol, other drugs and stuff like that? Oh and what is there aferlife like?

THey pretty much wouldn't care about that as a whole. it would boil down to individual views. And their afterlife I haven't worked much on. Though essentially it'd be your a-typical paradise. Though it'd have mythical creatures, other gods, stuff like that. More of an ethereal plane for all ethereal beings rather than a simple afterlife area.

Cool. Could you enter this ethereal plane before death and should we move this conversation to a PM?

Ah D&D, an inspiring pillar of story telling and fantasamic adventures. ^^ Seasoned DM, so I understand all to well the inspiration that D&D can give.

On the note of Gods. I know there is Aiaran, who is the goddess that saved all the people from the Devan's, and the Devan god who brought forth the Humans and Elves and such, but are there other gods Mitchs98 Mitchs98 ?
