I never liked Twitter anyway.
If it really closes then I don't doubt some new platform will open in its place.
Probably people would go over Tumblr again.

There's no real guarantee Twitter is gonna die that I've seen, lol
But regardless... I don't think there's a great replacement for it out there.
I sort of advise folks to just not get another social media in its stead.

I've rather outgrown imaginary friends. You see, now I call them "OCs".

I don't think I ever had them. I liked to imagine stories though, and probably that's how I got into writing and then roleplaying.
So I kinda agree with Daisie, they're OCs rather than imaginary friends lol

When I was a little girl... I mean little, like 4 or 5-ish, I used to have a "ghost friend" that lived in the attic. It was a bird (that was also a ghost) and when my mom would go up to the attic to get things, it would come out to visit with me.

With Twitter going under, what social media platforms are a good alternative to Twitter (In your opinion)?

I'd say Facebook or tiktok or any site where you can post things minus maybe Tumblr since that site is also pretty much just as toxic as Twitter can be, but I also don't see Twitter going anywhere any time soon as there are still a lot of youtubbers and other types if content creators that use it as there main source of advertising there youtube vids and what not.

Must've been away for this one. I've never even seen a twitter page irl... or, now that I think about it, I may not have even seen one in a pic. I actually don't know anything about twitter at all, except that it's yet another social media platform that I don't use. I used to have a Myspace way back in the day. Ididn't really use it too much though. And then way later I got myself a facebook account. But I ddn't really use it for much except to get notified for local shows and concerts. I tried RPing on facebook, but oh my god were the groups for that absolutely trash tier.

I couldn't even tell you the last time I was on facebook. Honestly, these RP forums are about as close as I get to a social media platform. Does Discord count? I only use discord for RP, as well.

Tbh, I don't even know what kind of social media things are even out there. Like, I've heard of Tick tock. But I dont know what it is or what people do on it. And also, I should mention that I don't have a phone, and I havent owned one in many, many years. The last time I had a phone was when the flip phone was popular.

Nothing. It can’t be replaced, not in a healthy way, from where I’m standing. What one can do is control the intake to stay within a reasonable amount. Otherwise just drink water and perhaps the occasional fruit juice.

okay, but seriously though, I don't actually drink much soda because the carbonation burns my throat. Not really appealing. I drink teas and water most of the time
