It will be taking place in Northern England, post-World War 1! In fact, Durham, England in fact! Just a few miles outside of the city, though no one actually leaves the orphanage's grounds. The government makes shipments to the orphanage as needed

I believe tomorrow I will set up both the Discord and the official CS page for folks. I think I like the amount we've got so far and the nice thing about this rp is that new characters can very easily be introduced! So if the RP and some more folks stop by, they can still join as a new incoming orphan or caretaker!

Once the Discord is set up, I'll go ahead and start giving you guys roles in accordance to your character so you can get sorted into the channels where I can start giving you some extra info ie. Trauma Points which affect both Caretakers and Orphans with some differences, Madness which will affect Caretakers, and ALSO start nabbing some volunteers to kick off the RP. If no one volunteers, that is ok, I will pick them myself. In the very beginning of the RP, these two will witness some events that... well. You'll certainly be in some precarious situations.

Lastly, I will reiterate this in the Discord but I want to make it clear here: Please, if you want to know if your character would have access to, be aware of, or realized some sort of secret, mystery, or otherwise hidden knowledge, ask me before hand. I will always keep my DMs open to answer and clarify these questions for you guys. If someone is being sneaky and you want to try to catch them or spot them in the act, ask the writer of the sneaky character if they are ok with being seen by your character. For the sake of avoiding any conflicts where people feel it is unfair that some know more than they should, I want to take some precautionary measures. Seriously, just ask and we'll work something out.

TLDR to the third paragraph- Don't metagame. The "Lucky Guess," excuse won't fly with me and frankly, feels like the most boring way to write a big discovery for your character.

You can be an orphan or a caretaker until Coyote closes the caretaker slots, then you can only be an orphan.
