  • Day 19: The weekend is almost here and honestly I cannot wait. Just one more day of work to get through. I love my job, don't get me wrong, but I have one of those coworkers that doesn't do a whole lot and at the same time believes he's working harder than anyone else. A real piece of work.

I hate people like that, not because they think they're more important than they are, but because it's impossible to convince them otherwise
Day 18: It's one of those days again. Uneventful but nice. I really don't have anything noteworthy to say. How about a riddle to fill up some space? "My first is high, My second damp, My whole doth tie, A writer's cramp. What am I?"

Hmm... Writer's block? My best guess so far.
Or rather the muse, I suppose.
Day 17: Send from my phone this time. Mainly because I forgot until I already turned off my PC and can't be bothered to boot it for just an update. So, there you go! Enjoy the knowledge that this is the first message send by phone.
Day 16: I have been feeling strange today, for lack of a better term. Today has been fine as far as I know. No issues at work, and I met another lovely person on RpN today that goes by the name of @machetea. However, I've been having this feeling that I've forgotten something or that I've done something wrong. I'm almost certain this isn't the case, yet the feeling remains. It is quite annoying and I hope it'll pass soon.
(Non-delayed) Day 15: Have you ever bought a video game because you last played it roughly 7 years ago and you figure it'll be fun for nostalgia's sake? Then proceed to get absolutely hooked all over again. That's the reason why I've got nothing to share today.

I can admit to the first part, but sadly not the second. I've bought plenty of games out of nostalgia though
(Delayed) Day 14: Some days you just don't have the time to update a daily post. Mainly because real life. Honestly, I'm surprised it took as long as it did before this happened. It probably isn't the last time either, but hey, real life still has priority.
Day 13: It seems like lingering on RpN is very good for killing time during quiet workdays. Give it a try! Also, I've been getting some very solid constructive feedback on my first thread. It really gives off the vibe that this community wants to see others grow and get better. Something that's very nice to see. Keep it up RpN!

I've seen more than a handful of dedicated rpers always eager to help others out.

And then there's me raiding your profiles and eating all your apple sauce.

I had a feeling my vast collection of limited edition apple sauce jars was shrinking.. How dare you, Blobby!

Day 12: Didn't take me too long to find something to write about again. If you can call a shameless plug on my own profile page something to write about. Today marks the day that I posted my first thread in the Group Interest Check. I would say 'here's to many more', but I really just hope to have this run for a good while before needing to consider making more threads. So, here's to hoping instead!

Day 10: First double-digit day! Sadly, I've also come to terms with the fact that I've ran out of things to talk about in these posts more quickly than I'd initially anticipated. I suppose that's just the result of having a fairly routine-based lifestyle. Same old, same old.
Day 9: I've spend most of my evening teaching a friend of mine Dutch. Aside from that I didn't have much time to do anything on RpN, but daily updates are daily. So, there. Some insight into my daily life after work. Enjoy~
Day 7: With the first week coming to a close, the first day of role-playing has started. It took me an hour or two to get the words on paper. Which was more time than I'd expected. However, I must say I'm very satisfied with what I wrote for my first ever IC post on RpN. Here's to many more!
Day 6: Finally got the ball rolling on the first RP I'm joining on this site. Even if it isn't the biggest feat I still like to consider it the first milestone. Hopefully this will serve as the steppingstone to getting to know some more people, make some friends and have a good time together. I cannot wait!

Since you caught on to my infiltration plans, @BackSet , I had to encrypt this message. However, because I’m a good sport, you are also the key to solving it. Enjoy~

I'm honestly quite impressed with your determination! Though, I don't really have any hints left. So, let me just say that it's a keyword cypher. That should be enough to solve it.

"TODAY I’VE SPEND THE LARGER PART OF THE EVENING WORKING ON MY OWN IDEA FOR A ROLE-PLAY. L’M PRETTY SATISFIED WITH HOW IT IS TURNING OUT SO FAR, BUT IT’LL LIKELY BE A FEW DAYS BEFORE I CAN DO AN INTEREST CHECK."

I'm lazy and put it through a decoder.

I mean, that's what I've been doing the whole time, trying to figure out what kind of code it was and using a decoder.

The best thing about it is that I've already done the interest check by now. Aren't you glad you can let it go now? You're free, BackSet! Free at last!

Day 4: Excluding some small talk over PM and hanging around the forum games for a while, nothing much happened today. Then again, I'm quite satisfied with how things are going regardless. Not every day needs to have new experiences to be enjoyable.
Day 3: @Ayama was kind enough to reach out to me with a role-play invitation. So, I spend a good while today writing an OC for it. It's all in the hands of the GM now, but I'm fairly confident it'll be up to their standards. Honestly, I didn't expect to get anything going within the first week, but I'm happy it did!
