~Stay Purrfect!
Edit One: Hello! The majority of our current cast decided on the Medieval Pokémon Roleplay with darker themes, a realistic setting, Fakémon, Pokémon Fusions, and Regional Variants. We are currently looking for more Roleplayers who would like to join our detailed world for the long term and be active in the OOC chat. The main Roleplay has not started yet since we are working on getting up more threads first, but the Character Sheet thread is open for anyone interested in getting a head start on their characters. P.W.W. focuses on a small group of heroes who will travel around the Aspen region, bonding with one another and capturing new Pokémon as they fight back against the Dark Forces and explore the whimsical community created world. Our goal for P.W.W. is to create a welcoming environment with dedicated Roleplayers who may customize their characters as they see fit and create their own unique tailored experience. P.W.W. is a structured open-world Roleplay with an inciting main storyline, side quests, and random events for you to encounter. If you are interested in participating, please comment on this thread or DM me with a request to join the OOC chat.

Note:

I am looking for semi-literate to literate Roleplayers who are easy to collaborate with :3

I'm quite interested in this! I'm personally most intersted in Fakemon, mostly because I like making my own stuff, but have no problem doing normal Pokemon.

AhHhh I'm really glad that someone expressed interest! I guess going the shorter route was the right call here! If we used Fakémon for the medieval Roleplay, would that also interest you?

It seems like an interesting enough concept, and far more modern based then the other two which I kind of prefer, and a good exploration type of Roleplay has always been nice.

That would also interest me yes. So Fakemon either in a modern or medieval setting would be my preferred choices, but if that's not on the table then normal Pokemon in a modern setting would interest me more.

Purrfect! So far people seem to be expressing interest in one and three the most, so it'll most likely be a choice between those two unless two gets more votes.

While we're waiting for the votes to roll in, how many of you guys would like to communicate through an OOC on RPNation, or through a server in Discord? I noticed that Discord servers make it easier to keep track of the lore and everything, but I wanted to hear your opinions as well. I would also like to mention that the world lore is expandable, and everyone will be able to contribute in world building and make suggestions if they wish to do so!

Captain Spooks Captain Spooks Acethekidd Acethekidd (I saw that you guys voted on the poll, so I thought to include you as well in a tag).

I'm cool with either discord or an OOC, though a private message OOC would probably be best if people can't do discord.

I already voted, but medieval I'm most interested in!

xD My apologies, the polls didn't update for me. Since a lot of people seem to be expressing interest in the medieval concept I would like to mention for this particular world your character can be almost whoever you want them to be. The heroes/chosen ones will be selected through special circumstances, so your character could be a knight, a peasant, or a thief and still be accepted. The only exception to this rule would be things like kings or queens, but your characters could still be heirs to the throne. I plan on giving everyone as much creative freedom as possible, while still giving everyone a structured world to explore!

Oooh, I don't usually do Pokemon, but like...

Fakemon in a semi-realistic setting is the most interesting thing I have ever seen.

Thank you for the interest! Currently there are four votes for normal Fakemon and six votes for medieval. Depending on what people vote for we could also make the medieval Fakemon.

Yes, sorry xD

My brain is slowly dying

Oh, don't worry, I have a square brain :3

To answer your question I will be letting everyone decide a lot of things as a group, so depending on what people we choose the max will either be seven or six Pokemon. For the normal Fakemon Roleplay everyone will be starting with one Pokemon of their choosing. (Excluding Legendaries and Mythicals). Since the Roleplayers will be the champions of previous regions, this starting Pokemon would be the one they share their closest bond with and will usually be fully evolved. The reasoning I said six or seven is because I am going with the traditional standard of allowing six in a party, but if the starting Pokemon is not contained in a Poke Ball this opens up an extra slot for the new Fakemons. As for the medieval Roleplay the standard would also be six, but I am thinking everyone would be allowed to start with a max of three Pokemon if they choose to do so. (However, keep in mind that Poke Balls did not exist yet during this time, so you might want to take that into consideration when choosing your starters). I would also prefer if not everyone started with fully evolved Pokemon during the medieval Roleplay.

Ooooooh, nIce

I like the 7 idea a lot because of the fact that 7 probably isn't contained in a Pokeball so depending on the Pokemon, you could have this tiny bird on your shoulder or a massive F-you dragon gliding above the city waiting for its trainer.

I'm prolly gonna start with a second evolution pokemon just because, but that would require a shit-ton of concept art hnnnnnn

That's fine by me! There are no limits on what evolution your starting Pokemon has to be for the normal Fakemon Roleplay. I just expected most people to have fully evolved starters since they would be champions, and their current parties would have already been maxed out. (Unless you're going for an unevolved Pikachu thing as Ash did). I am not sure if I clarified this, but your starting Pokemon will be a previously established Pokemon from one of the previous generations. The party will not encounter any of the new Fakemon until they reach the new region.
