Muse A and B are both survivors in the apocalypse. Before the world's end, they lived drastically different lives of course. Now they are faced with the horrors that the world has evolved into. Both alone in the dark, seeking the light. And that light they will surely find one day...right? Days and months go by with no sign of that said light showing up at all, the two only find more darkness. Even when they're face to face with each other. Muse A is caught in a horrible trap set by the Fireflies when they're out hunting one day. At the same time they're caught, muse B is scavenging, more so raiding, the base when they come face to face. Muse A trapped and severely injured and now muse B staring at them in a panic. Now two survivors are suddenly faced with a very difficult question. Do I trust you? With no time to doubt and with a harsh winter storm coming in soon, muse B decides to help muse A escape their cage but knowing they will most likely get caught and...dealt with once more, muse B takes them in. With uncertainty still hanging between the two, will they end up coming to trust each other or decide they're better off on their own?

Muse A is a wandering musician in a big city. Coming from a small town, they've always wanted to play in a well known band. With their name in big city lights, screaming fans everywhere, all of that good stuff. Yet interview after interview has gone wrong for them. They've been denied to play for anyone or anything, no matter how impressive their playing is. Now they're at rock bottom. No money, no food, not even a place to stay in the city they love so much. But as lady luck would have it, muse A runs into muse B. Muse B who is a member of a freshly created band. A band that just lost one its members due to some unspoken conflicts. With the spot open, muse B doesn't really have any other option so they give muse A a shot. They play well enough to impress the rest of the band and they're in. Now muse A's dream is starting to head somewhere. The only other problem now is housing. With a written agreement and some other softly placed rules, muse B allows them to stay within their shitty end apartment as long as they multitask the band and getting a job. Not wanting to disappoint, muse A proves how useful they can be and of course, things will go smoothly.

The Vytal Festival, a huge name across all of Remnant. Mostly known for the show-stopping battles between the more well known schools across the lands. This year it's different. Those who are allowed to enter the festival are already hunters and huntresses. Of course, only a set amount of teams are able to enter from each settlement but it's all just a fun showcase of peace. A peace that could crumble at any second. With war on the brink of the edge in the nations, the Vytal Festival is more so a showcase to any and all who would like to watch that not only are they in a time of peace but that the hunters and huntresses all around them are well equipped enough to take care of and handle anything that is thrown their way.
But of course a fun, light hearted moment between the world and those who they call their heroes, turns dark. Something horrible is brewing and with no end to the nightmare in sight, those who lay their life on the line must rise up and protect the world from ending.
I don't need the world to see, that I've been the best that I can be.
But I don't think I could stand to be, where you don't see me.
