Alarmed and Strangerous
Hullo everybody, I've been dipping my toe into 1x1 stuff more frequently after a long period of mostly sticking to group RPs. At this juncture I thought it would be helpful to put up a search thread and hopefully meet some partners with similar tastes. I am in my late (late) twenties, LGBTQ+ friendly and still figuring out a lotta stuff, but I think I am pretty okay at this whole rping thing, so if anything in this thread catches your eye please reach out and say hi.

What I'm looking to RP
I want to write action packed, dramatic stories backed up by rich worldbuilding and complex plots and characters. I love flashy, over the top fight scenes but I love those fights to be underpinned by complex magic or technology systems and deep veins of emotion that lend every punch and kick weight and tactical importance. I really wanna geek out with my partners and dive into the details of our stories and worlds.

I'm open to a wide variety of dynamics and relationships. Romance is on the table, especially as one element of a story that has lots of other stuff going on but I also love exploring rivals, mentors, familial bonds and more. It's all part of the labyrinthine tapestry that is human interaction and it's laden with drama and intrigue ripe for the plucking. I'm not really familiar with the practice of doubling as such, but I've run a number of group rps, so I'm very comfortable managing NPCs and side characters to set up and move things along.

I have tonnes of ideas, but I'm definitely looking to collaborate with someone who is equally enthusiastic. I want to meet the weird imaginary people in your brain and for us to make something together that's bigger and more creative than what I could do by myself.

My main POV character will almost certainly be female, that's just kind of where I'm at with RPing and have been for a while. Your character can really be whatever though, depending on the plot and setting we settle on together though and I'm ready to roll up my sleeves and handle as many secondary or tertiary dudes, ladies or all consuming hive minds as our story need to get where its going but at the centre of it all I'll be steering a lady.

I love Weeby, anime aesthetics. I'm a huge fan of anime, especially flashy, action packed shonen and that informs a lot of my aesthetic sensibilities. I like to draw my face claims, I'm probably not good enough to have a recognisable style but if I do then its anime and manga inspired and that also informs how I write action and build worlds. For instance if I'm writing a sci Fi story then I would probably design personal shields so that people have to draw their laser katanas and start doing spin kicks and stuff, that's just the vibe I love.

What I'm not Interested in
Canon Characters. No shade for the folks out there doing this, I just don't have any inclination at all for this. I have zero interest in playing canon characters, I have zero interest in you playing them for me. At most I might use canon characters as NPCs or side characters if we need them to move things in a particular direction but that's not what I'm here for, just a means to an end.

Excessively Graphic depictions. I'm not shy about handling mature themes and events, but I'm not here to write smut or torture porn and I am mega not here to get my butt kicked off RPN. The further you wanna go with this stuff the more I'm going to need to know you and trust you to wanna write that kind of thing. I'm also not about pushing people's boundaries so please let me know where you draw the line and I can work with that.

I'm not super strict in terms writing quality or post length but I am really hoping to work with people who at least have a competent grasp of the English language and are at least a little expressive. If your posts are sparse or agrammatical to the point that it hinders any sense of emotion or clarity then you're probably not quite what I'm looking for in a partner.

I'm not gonna RP on discord. I'm one hundred percent open to exchanging handles and using discord for chatting and planning, but when it comes to actually sitting down to write scenes discord doesn't support what I want to do at all. I'm not particularly fussy other than that, we can set up a thread, or use PMs or whatever you wanna do. Unless you want to use some other platform that is equally restrictive in terms of character limits and formatting as discord I guess.

I'm not gonna do any fancy bbcode stuff. You can feel free to make your posts super slick and fancy if you want to but I probably wont be the best audience for that kind of thing. And I draw the line at scroll boxes. I Hate scroll boxes, not being able to see the entire block of text at once massively disrupts my reading flow. If your design looks cool and fancy then please show that off by making it take up all the available screen real estate so that I'm not admiring your work through a keyhole.

Okay , Okay. Now For the Fun Stuff.

Fandoms (remember, its OC X OC for these)

(Weeb shit)

Naruto: Probably the fandom I've Rped the most at this point. I have tonnes of ideas for characters and really out there AU stuff, I have plans for totally new nations and hidden villages and rosters upon rosters of bad guys and plots to contend with. I haven't kept up with Boruto at all, but I'm not necessarily opposed to trying to work in that era for the right plot.

Generations ago outcast Shinobi fled the mainland and sailed to a distant continent, mingling with the locals and eventually establishing new hidden villages of their own forming an entirely new shinobi world. One of these hidden villages, the village hidden among crowds, seeks to ascend from a minor to a major power by dominating the upcoming chunin exams. Can a fresh generation of young genin rise to the expectations of their ambitious village? or will a sinister evil from the ancient past drown these distant shores in blood?

After the bloodshed of the fourth Shinobi world war peace at long last has been established among the hidden villages! As war and strife decline the role of Shinobi gradually transitions from assassin to peacekeeper and investigator. In this new era there are still Shinobi naturally inclined towards violence. Whereas in earlier generations these would have been valued warriors, in today's society they are considered outmoded, dangerous outcasts and those who can't fall in line with the new way of doing things are expelled from the ranks of or even sent to prison. But when a sinister new threat arises to menace this now peaceful era two prisoners will have the chance to redeem themselves: by pretending to break out of prison and going undercover as missing nin

Bleach: I actually never got around to the Quincy, blood wars stuff, but I'm very familiar with the rest of Bleach and I could probably catch up on the rest for the right RP. I find Bleach to be a very frustrating setting in many ways, so rping it usually involves a lot of big, bold changes for me.

The Seireitei is one step away from civil war after the assassination of the first squad captain by unknown assailants. WIth the remaining squads dividided into factions who all blame each other, none are willing to send shinigami to the human world to slay hollows. TO make up the shortfall humans are being recruited en masse as substitute shinigami, but these fresh recruits are struggling to hold the tide against what seems to be increasing hollow activity. these two crises seem unrelated but are they actually connected? and what, if anything do they have to do with the archeological digs that the first captain authorized in Hueco Mundo shortly before his death...

One Piece: I'm not up to date on One Piece, not because I particularly disliked anything but just because I found my attention going elsewhere at some point and its hard to jump back on this train after a while. It's a lovely playground though and I have lots of thoughts: ask me about my doc of 100 custom devil fruits!

We call it the Undersea, a vast, underground ocean at least as large as one of the Four Blue Seas and it was underneath us this whole time, as if waiting patiently for us to find it. We are only barely beginning to scratch the surface of exploring and mapping this new ocean but already we have discovered the Undersea has its own islands, its own ecosystems, plants and creatures. In places where the ceiling is high enough the Undersea even has its own weather system.

To those whose heart longs for adventure and mystery the Undersea is an irresistible lure. After all even the deadly Grand Line has been conquered at least once by the unrivalled Gol D. Rogers and his legendary crew, but as far as anyone knows nobody has ever seen the end of the Undersea. What riches might these unplumbed depths reveal? What challenges? None can know for sure. In the immediate wake of the Undersea's discovery Ezelred the Mad, one of the four emperors known as the mightiest pirates in the world lead his vast fleet through the Helmouth into the deepest reaches of the Undersea, but none of them have ever been heard from or seen since then.

Hunter X Hunter: It's hard to find rps for Hunter X Hunter so I'm pretty rusty on this, but I dearly love it. The climax of the Chimera arc is almost my platonic ideal of what shonen anime can and should be and the Nen system is a huge inspiration for the kinds of magic systems I like to build up for my own works.

The hunter’s association is no more. The mafia, once a fragmented, squabbling maelstrom has been forcibly united under one man, a powerful nen user known as the King of Shadows. Little is known about the King of Shadows but anyone who has stood in his way has been ruthlessly eliminated as he climbed his way through the ranks of the mafia community to eventually usurp the position of the Ten Dons. Shortly after consolidating his hold over the mafia the Shadow monarch launched a surprise attack on the 293rd Hunter exam, murdering several dozen prominent hunters who were present. All examinees present were given the choice of working for the mafia or dying, most took the job offer.

The ensuing conflict was known as the Shadow war and was brief but exceptionally bloody. Though the Hunter;s Association had many powerful nen users they were crippled by a series of high profile defections resulting from bribery and intimidation. Eventually the Association was forced to concede after the death of its chairman who was killed by the Shadow King himself and the association was dissolved. Now any nen users looking to take on work are forced to go through the Exchange, a secretive network run by agents of the Shadow King. Members of the exchange are forced to tithe a small percentage of any income they make and are prohibited from taking any jobs that might go against the interests of the Mafia. Meanwhil. Anyone who attempts to use Nen for profit without the blessing of the Exchange is hunted down by the Shadow beasts, the Mafia’s top enforcers.

All over the world corruption and crime skyrocket as the police are powerless to contend with the powerful nen users under the control of the Mafia. The rich can bribe or collude their way out of trouble, some have even benefited greatly from the breakdown of rules and regulations. The poor or marginalized however have borne the brunt of the new order, with street crime, extortion and racketeering stealing away money they can ill afford to spare.

This cannot stand and although the Shadow King seems all powerful, he does have enemies. Those whose lives have been left shattered in the wake of his rise to the top are scattered all over the globe and a small, dedicated group of them have secretly gathered together for one purpose.

The Shadow King must die.

Fairy Tail: A guilty pleasure I find myself returning to RP in again and again despite finding the show itself to be pretty frustrating and lackluster. I have some fairly fleshed out setting details for an RP set in Pergrande, one of the other countries in the setting mentioned by name but not really explored.

Pokemon: Having only recently picked up a switch and pokemon Violet, I'm now more up to date and hooked into pokemon than I have been for quite some time. I have a custom pokemon region complete with a map we could use, but I don't mind any of the canon regions. We don't have to do the classic gym circuit necessarily, I think there's tonnes of room for all kinds of stories, although I do want catching and training pokemon to be a key part of the story not just set dressing. If you're a real weirdo like me then ask me about the Xianxia/cultivation Pokemon idea I've been chewing on for ages.

Demon Slayer: I'm a touch rusty here, I kinda ploughed through all of this back when it first came out and haven't done a lot in this space since, but I could probably muddle through. I have one, really weird semi modern AU idea I like, but I'm open to something more conventional or your own, even more off the wall ideas potentially!

Jujutsu Kaisen: I'm hesitant to include this one, I like JJK a lot but I'm not up to date at all and not particularly experienced RPing it. You would probably need to be the senior partner if we did this one but I'm not opposed to that. I haven't really considered running a JJK RP so I have very little prepped for this setting but I can build as we go.

BNHA: I'm not up to date, but I got pretty far into BNHA and I like its lightweight approach to super powers. I have one plot idea I think is neat, centered around teenage criminals breaking out of jail to go under cover in exchange for a full pardon. Kind of a Suicide Squad Lite kinda thing.

(Not weeb shit)

Mass Effect: For me Mass Effect peaked at 1, I just fell in love with its geeky, earnest worldbuilding despite its many flaws. The later games have lots of great ideas to explore despite the frustrations I have with them though. I don't have any really hammered out plans for this setting but I have some thoughts. We could work something out I'm sure.

Fallout: New Vegas was the pinnacle of the franchise for me and I played a lot of 3 as well, like a lot, a lot. I respect the earlier games but couldn't really push through and play them myself and don't really know them at all. I don't particularly respect fallout 4 and 76 and didn't play them really. Open to exploring all kinds of plot points and settings though I don't have any plans here.

Elder Scrolls: Its a similar story to Fallout, I played the heck out of oblivion and Skyrim, bit the older games were just to janky for me to get into. One of these days I might try and play Morrowind again but I don't really know it well enough to RP there.

Star Wars: who doesn't love star wars? well, star wars fans~ I'm probably most confident in the Clone Wars and original trilogy eras, I have a great admiration for KOTOR 1 and 2 but for some reason that doesn't quite translate into wanting to RP the old republic era. I also have an interest in trying to do something post rise of skywalker, trying to sorta rehabilitate...that.

Others: You're welcome to ask about any fandoms not on the list that you think I might be open to. I'm pretty picky about RPing stuff, even a lot of media I really like I don't always want to RP in for one reason or another. But the worst that can happen is that I'll say no, so like no skin off anyone's back really.

Original Plots and Settings.
The benevolent Society of Huntsman Doctors:
What if Bloodborne was a shonen anime? Foul beasts of every stripe and size stalk the streets of a steampunk, fantasy London and only the Huntsman Doctors can excise this blight on the city's people. Utilising flashy martial arts techniques inspired by gruesome medical history, the huntsmen doctors fight to keep the people safe and healthy, but just how far and deeply has the rot spread through society? And can reason and science ultimately contend with the true depths of the terrors lurking in the deep corners of this world?

Solomon’s Game: When a mysterious mobile game downloads itself onto your phone you are thrust into a deadly game for survival and worst of all: It's pay to win. What if a gacha game let you summon the heroes of other worlds to do battle for you? Command your summoned heroes and make clever use of spells and equipment earned from a frustratingly random and stingy gacha system to battle invading monsters, murderous PvPers and possibly uncover who exactly is behind this sinister and powerful game and what their true motivations are.

Red Queen Operator:
It is the year 2128 and the future asks of you one question:

If you shed all your weaknesses, all of your limitations, will you become something more than human? or less than? Or perhaps both?

It is the year 2128 and the world is almost unrecognisable. Through climate change and the subsequent resource wars humanity drove itself close to extinction. Although our species as a whole is stubbornly clawing its way back from the edge of most nation states went careening right off the cliff, Global politics is now dominated by a complex web of futuristic city states, mega corporations and a wondrous new energy resource.

Nexite noun, A mysterious, crystalline substance with self replicating properties. When charged with an electric current nexite emits a unique form of radiation known as Sorenkoff particles that can be harnessed to generate cheap, clean energy, among other uses.

Unfortunately as any mega corporation will tell you, nothing in life is free and nexite is no exception. Exposure to the particles charged nexite emits can mutate living organisms into hideous, half crystalline entities known as SEROs (Sorenkoff exposure recombined organism). Able manipulate nexite growths within their bodies to generate barriers, blasts of energy and other weaponry, SEROS are invariably hostile towards all other lifeforms and seek to rapidly grow their numbers by exposing anyone nearby to mutating radiation. Most terrifyingly of all, SEROS seem to be able to form a dispersed network of shared information and processing power, the greater the nummber of SEROS in an area the more intelligent they collectively become, allowing them to employ sophisticated tactics and "manufacture" more powerful organisms.

In the early years after the discovery of nexite SERO outbreaks wiped out a number of human settlements, from small villages and resource extraction operations to booming metropolises and there are large swathes of territory all across the globe controlled by permanently established SERO "colonies" which can only be contained rather than eliminated. In the last few decades however a key piece of technology has levelled the playing field somewhat: The HARFrame.

Informally referred to as “Hard frames” HAR Frames are full body prosthetics, fully functional robotic bodies that contain a living brain who lives inside and pilots the frame, sending commands and receiving external stimuli through an advanced, computer brain interface. Specialist HARframes designed for war (known as tactical frames) are many times more effective than baseline human combatants, they are stronger, faster, more precise and can be customised with infinite combinations of weaponry and gadgets. Most crucially, tactical frames are almost immune to SERS as their only organic components are small enough to be protected by layers of shielding and armor.

You are an operator, someone who has had their brain transplanted into a HARframe for one reason or another. Maybe you were sick, SERS or one of the more conventional diseases eating away at your flesh and bones. Maybe you wanted to be stronger, despising the weaknesses formerly imposed on you by biology. Maybe you just wanted to be different, something about the body granted to you by chance and genetics was simply at odds with the true self you carried within, Hell, maybe you were just bored.

Whatever your reasons are, you work for Red Queen Security now. Red Queen is many things: it's an international PMC; a supermassive aircraft carrier that carries its crew from hotspot to hotspot in search of action and the next paycheck; it's probably the closest thing to good guys the world has right now (sadly) and if you squint really hard and maybe take a shot of whiskey, it's even a family.

But we're also an employer. We have certain lines we won't cross, but apart from that whatever the client says goes, if need be you walk into hell and shoot your way back out. Make it back alive and we'll make your rich, more than that we'll make you better. Upgrades, training, weaponry: we take care of our own and we'll hook you up with whatever you need to get the job done. Never stop growing, never stop evolving because there is always a bigger fish just around the corner, stagnate and you die and we just said we're like a family right? so we can't have that.

As to what exactly you'll be after all those upgrades? Human, something more than human? something less than human?

Well that's up to you now isn't it?

FreeCasters (Fairy Tail with the serial numbers filed off and, I hope, a more interesting magic systems: a world rife with magic, monsters and crude, arcane technology. Magic is practiced all over the world, sometimes by the high priests of ancient cults who trace their lineage back to pre imperial times, sometimes by enterprising street urchins looking to levitate valuables out of unguarded pockets. For those who lack the talent, or find themselves faced with a problem surpassing their own command of the arcane, there are the Freecaster Guilds, groups of experienced or not so experienced mages willing to hire out their services for the right price. Free casters face different attitudes and laws in different regions of the world, but they are present anywhere there are enough people in some capacity. They hunt monsters, track down missing people, arrest bandits and other criminals. Freecasting is a life of uncertainty and danger but for any aspiring mage it’s the perfect way to hone one’s craft and make some coin on the side.

The Royal Rangers (What if Naruto and the Ranger's Apprentice had a baby?":
Ruled by just and wise Kings and blessed with industrious, honest citizens Valora has weathered many hardships as a nation, for it is beset on all sides by jealous rivals who would take its rich lands for their own if given the chance. To the West lies tumultuous Chesga, a vibrant melting pot that controls the ancient land routes to the exotic Naridian Peninsula. To Valora's south are the infamous Verillosi badlands, a barren land beset by bandits who prey upon merchants risking passage to the triple port cities of Pent, Athos and Denas. To the East is imperious Morvanis, from humble beginnings this stern and disciplined nation has expanded rapidly through conquest of its neighbours and doubtless would see Valora added to its list of provinces if given the chance. Then there are is the savage kingdom of Bearon to the North, whose high king and countrymen still cling to the old gods and the old ways of plundering and raiding when the mood strikes them. Of course legends speak of a far greater threat even further to the North, across the Hand of Winter, the vast ice formation which split the Bitterrock sea centuries ago and formed a land route to the sinister and unexplored polar continent...

So how does Valora protect its people and lands from all of these dangers? It's true that the knights of Valora are renowned for their bravery and skill at arms but they are few in number. The commonfolk of Valora will also heed the call of their king in times of war, taking up bow and spear with earnestness that belies their lack of formal training. But these bulwarks alone are not enough to keep Valora safe not against rival nations who are themselves full of skillful and brave warriors. The first King of Valora foresaw that his people would need an edge in their coming battles, to serve as that edge the first King formed a small, elite force from the remnants of the wildilng clans he had defeated to form Valora. These skilled warriors knew every inch of Valora like the back of their hands; they could pass through enemy patrols undetected and collect valuable intelligence or strike at key personnel; they could even form alliances with the wild beasts of the land or turn their hands to small workings of magick.

In exchange for enshrining the honour and safety of their clans these Wildings swore loyalty to the first King, becoming the very first Royal Rangers! This small but elite group has persisted up to the present day, servings as the eyes, ears and if necessary the dagger of the Valoran crown. In peace time Rangers patrol the wildest and most rugged regions of Valora, keeping the people safe from natural and unnatural threats. During times of war the Rangers serve as elite scouts, leading the King's armies along hidden routes to secure strategic advantage or screening them for hostile ambushes. Rangers are adaptable, versatile and determined, they do whatever it takes to get the job done and are always looking for promising individuals with unique talents to add to their roster.

Now the Royal Rangers see something in you despite your youth and inexperience, they believe you have the potential to be one of them, a ranger sworn to defend Valora and its people. Perhaps you are clanborn, a descendent of the Wilding clans who became the first Rangers. It may have always been expected that you would become a ranger, but that won't mean it will be easy; lineage is only the first step for a Ranger and you must still prove yourself through wit, grit and sacrifice. Then again perhaps you are a Foundling: an orphan or cast off from society who is already used to relying on your own strength to survive. That will serve you well as a Ranger, but there will still be much for you to learn for you will be a novice to the finer points of technique, skill and especially the magic which Rangers are expected to make use of.

Whoever you are, each and every prospective Ranger must pass the same test: the Proving! An ancient ritual undertaken by warriors of the ancient Wilding clans, the Proving requires you to venture alone into the deepest, oldest and most dangerous parts of Valora's densely forested Northern reaches. Oh, you must also come back alive of course...

BloodWyrm: A shonen anime esque take on vampires and such. In reality all these similar myths can be traced to one singular phenomenon: The Blood Wyrm: a bloodborne parasite that grants immortality and the power to manipulate and transform one’s own blood to achieve various supernatural feats. This great power comes at a price however, as hosts of the worms must continuously ingest more blood for the parasite to feed off of. The more the parasite grows and multiplies within their blood the more powerful the carrier becomes, but the more blood they must consume to satiate it. Within the shadows of modern day society carriers of the Bloodwyrm do battle with each other or work together to survive another day. But the hunter can all too easily become the prey and Bloodwyrm carriers are being hunted down by a shadowy mega corporation whose operatives seem to be able to replicate the abilities of the bloodwyrm thanks to injections of silvery nanites.

SLAYR, Uber for Demons: In the modern age Humanity is beset by demons. Though these otherworldly threats were formerly kept a secret and battled by shadowy organizations and secret societies the weakening of the barrier between worlds has massively multiplied the number of demons on the loose, making it impossible for their existence to be skilled. It’s time for the private sector to step in. SLAYR is a peer to peer service similar to Uber, but for demon slaying, by simply downloading an app you too can become a hunter of humanities ancient foes. Set your own hours! Earn valuable bonuses and higher ranks by climbing the SLAYR leaderboards!

The Blackwood Institute of Arcane Espionage (In a magical version of the 1950's the cold war is being fought in secret by teenage mages trained as spies and assassins):
In the old age Mages were elite, frontline fighters and leaders, trading their loyalty to their kings for rich estates. The age of gunpowder and machines bought an end to this and in particular the Railway war saw elite magical knights decimated by machine guns and artillery. In the Intercontinental war, resurgent magic populations found a new niche, not as frontline soldiers but as commandos, spies and assassins. Mages could infiltrate into enemy lines or territory but still bring to bear devastating force, they could travel light and cross exceedingly rough or dangerous terrain with ease.

Now the Intercontinental war is over, but the Shadow war has only just begun. The victors of the Intercontinental war, only ever allies of convenience at best, now regard each other with mistrust and barely concealed hostility. With both sides wielding weapons of mass destruction open warfare would be disastrous for either side so both sides of this new kind of conflict vie for position using more subtle tactics. Proxy wars, assassination, coups and sabotage, these are the strategies that dominate what some are calling the cold war and the people that carry them out are mages.

It was for the sake of this new kind of warfare that the Blackwood Institute of Arcane Espionage was founded. Major Alfenn Blackwood, a former arcane commando and veteran of the Intercontinental war realised early one the importance that mages would come to play in the future of warfare and successfully lobbied for the establishment of a secretive institute specialising in discovering, recruiting and training children to be operatives in this new era of warfare.

S.I.N Eater (A biopunk dystopia where constantly evolving, mutated mercaneries take on dirty jobs for whoever can pay them):
In the year 2082 HUmanity has been driven to the brink of extinction by the Secondary Influenza Neuro-Virus, a rapidly evolving virus which takes over the bodies and minds of its victims, transforming them into monsters with almost supernatural abilities that slavishly serve the virus hivemind. The vast majority of the planet is now the Red Zone, territory controlled by the virus while Most of humanity now dwells in overcrowded, strictly regimented dome cities in the human controlled Green Zone.

However a small percentage of people infected by the virus are not fully taken over by it. These people gain the mutations and abilities the virus bestows without losing their free will and minds, as long as they take regular doses of an expensive medicine called Neuro Infection Stabilizer. These unfortunate souls are known as S.I.N Eaters. S.I.Neaters are considered virus hosts by the government and are hunted on sight, so they are forced to live in the Yellow zone, the contested area neither fully controlled by virus or by the Government. The Yellow zone is dotted with renegade settlements inhabited by gangsters, terrorists and renegades. Due to the costs of NIS, which SINeaters must take regularly, most of them are forced to take high risk, high reward jobs as mercenaries, bodyguards or assassins. It is a harsh, desperate life to be a SINeater, one must be willing to evolve or die, but they might just hold the key to humanity's survival within their ever changing DNA..

Xian Xia/Cultivation: I don't have a specific plot or setting for this one, but I've been reading a lot of cultivation stories lately and I've been itching to try it out myself. I really enjoy the kinds of cultivations stories where the act of cultivating itself and the techniques that arise from it are explored in detail. I would love for cultivation itself to be an interesting, challenging process that interacts with and informs tactical, complex combat and action scenes. On top of that I really want to explore the complex, cutthroat world of cultivator politics and intrigue. I wanna do things like snubbing the arrogant young master by eating the banquet dishes in a certain way or choosing between this or that internal faction to support.

Gamelit/ System lit: Similar to above, I've been reading a lot of these types of stories. THis is a kind of high fantasy where there's a magical "System" that allows people to level up like in an RPG, there's usually a "status window" which a person can use to see their abilities, attributes and other things like in a game. I'm interested in both isekai versions of this genre, where someone or multiple someones from our world get sent to a high fantasy setting that has system based magic and "System Apocalypse" type stories where Earth suddenly gets a system and people all over the world can suddenly gain exp points and level up to grow stronger, but they usually have to deal with Mass invasions of monsters and other threats.

Your ideas: I'd love to hear about your ideas as well If you've got something you think I'd like, I might not be into it or I might love it, the worst that can happen is that I'll politely tell you it doesn't quite suit me.

Alright I think that's just about everything, though I may come back and add more to this as time goes on. If you've made it this far thank you for taking the time to check out my ideas regardless of if you decide to reach out to me or not. Hopefully though I will be hearing from some of you soon!

Update: I've added in a few plot / worldbuilding hooks to the fandom section which are pretty typical of the kind of games I like to run in those spaces.

I'm still open for 1 or 2 more partners, but I do have someone locked in tight for the SLAYR original plotline and more tentative prospects for Pokemon and Starwars, so I'm not really open for those at present.

I am up if you'd like to discuss. That's one hell of a list to look and remember, lol.

ahh yeah, sorry~ it's all cobbled together from different projects and they weren't necessarily originally written to all sit nicely next to each other in one thread.

Anyways feel free to send me a PM!
