To those who find this Interest Check, Welcome.

This was a fun thought that was tossed around in my mind so much that I felt it would be fit to share out the idea and see who else would be interested in building upon it.
-----------------------------------------------

-{_(The Plot)_}-

The world of Teyvat has found itself and 4 of its Seven regions plunged into the grasp of mystery. No one knows when, how, or even why, but numerous areas within Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma and Sumeru have become riddled with ominous blue-ish white swirling gateways bordered by foreign structures.

Commonly, some would only go as far as to observe and make notes of these structures from afar, but the braver and stronger ones managed to observe much closer.

Those who did, would come to make note that these structures held a colossal width (At least 2x wider than Mondstadt's main gate) and notable height (2/4 the Barbatos statue's height). The borders of this gate had organized luminescent segments etched between smaller, moving mechanic components. Some parts had words or symbols written on them throughout, all seen as incomprehensible. All except for a set of 4 words forming a barely readable acronym in a glowing, streamline font..

SФLДЯ.ЯΞDФЦΓ.ЯДCIИG.LΞДGЦΞ

Unbeknownst to these Natives, the curiosity and confusion was mutual to those on the other side...

Notes:

I am 16 years old. I may be used to Rp’ing alongside adults, but it’s completely okay if you’re uncomfortable Rp’ing with a minor (for the 18+ lads)

Post frequency is lenient, since I am still going through highschool.

Minimum of 2 Paragraphs in posts are preferred, and no 1 liners please.

Formal stuff out of the way, name's Beetle. Nice to meet you (Reader/Potential RP partner/Friend)!

The Teams
Below, is the list and brief description of SRRL Teams that will be used to interact with the characters of your choosing. To see what these team ships look like, the choice will come upon their introduction. Afterall, who doesn’t like surprises?

ESA/AGR - The All-Rounder, equal in all fields. A canonical approach to races with its remarkable balance. ESA holds the highest honor in the SRRL, being the first AG-Racing team to be founded.

Koeniggswerth Engineering - Sturdy, Stable, and Safe, but Slow. Despite this, Koen still makes a great ‘middle pack’ contender and can take the lead with well managed boosting.

Sulha - The true glass cannon: Near Unmatched speed, bare-bones durability. A real ‘High risk high reward’ team that pushes the limit with engines that hold the strength of massive cargo ships.

Conqueror Technologies - Strong power, Hard to tame steering, and the reason there’s a ‘Near’ in Sulha’s description. They may be the Anti-ASERA in terms of Thrust, but with the help of boosts and their specialty in max speed, keeping up against them gets real difficult. Fun fact, Conqueror Technologies intentionally made their Jet engine have low thrust as a jab at ASERA due to their contrast with Low Thrust, High TS against High Thrust, Low TS, with the slogan being: 'High amounts of Thrust is for Chumps!'

ASERA - A tech savvy team which boasts the best Thrust in the SRRL. Strafe, Steer, and Durability are decent, alongside a slightly higher than average Stability ranking. but it sits on the lower spectrum of top end Speed due to the cumbersome weight of their 'Single massive Jet Engine' Design trait paired with Auxiliary units that can't back it up well enough.

Lunare Scuderia - Stylish, Speedy, Special in Steer, but not so Durable. Lunare is elegant in its craft, despite its parent family having almost destroyed humanity. Basing off the design of flamboyant Italian speed demons in the past, it puts a great pair of Speed and Steer in their ally. Lunare was never really known for particularly sturdy ships however..

BURAN - A mixed bag: Quite possibly the worst top speed, exceptional Thrust, high Durability, and lower than averge Strafe/Steer. Despite this, BURAN has its own niche carved out in the league with its oddly abundant reliability.

Akhal Tech - An ultra-light weight team that takes to the air with expertise. Its speed is comparable to that of Conqueror and Sulha, but like the latter, its quite fragile. It hones a decent mix of stability and handling to make up for that inconvenience.

Behemoth - While this aggressive team ties with Koen in terms of durability, their large size makes them heavy and quite sluggish on the top end compared to the others. Behemoth's real specialty is its ability to dissipate heat buildup from boosts faster than others in the league, even when racing directly over lava.

Mantis - To put it bluntly, Mantis is a buffed pseudo-glass cannon variant of ESA. Aside from their backstory of making war machines, Mantis proves to be a competitive player with its remarkable combination of Acceleration/Boost Power and Handling. Unfortunately this is where the ‘pseudo-glass cannon’ part comes, as the chassis is rather on the flimsy side.

Helix - A team born to race underwater. Their ship boasts a Strong balance of speed and maneuverability overall, but the handling becomes even better when combined with the influence of the water’s drag. Though a small issue is that its not as well inclined to dissipate heat outside the water. People often joke that the reason for this was because the engineers forgot to test its out-of-water capabilities during development.

Wallace.Racing.Genesis - Massively supported by Genesis' crowdfunding, WRG has crafted their Ship as a thoroughbred racing machine. Flaunting an extraordinary mix of Speed, Stability, and Steer, it serves as a testament to their skill in staying fast while changing direction. Unfortunately this led to the sacrifice of Strafe, Thrust, and Durability, as WRG planned out their ship to be on the lighter side.

Trait Pairings
A common theme of the SRRL surrounds the topic of mastering the natural elements, namely Fire/Lava, Earth, Wind, Ice/Magma, Water, Electricity, and Gravity.

Pair that with Teyvat's association with Elements and each region's ideals, it garners interesting results.

Each Team in the SRRL originate from areas that share regional aspects (Like their Element, Aesthetic, ETC.) with Teyvat's regions.

For example, ASERA is a team that originates (And is currently headquartered) in an iteration of Japan that is progressively being restored after a global climate
catastrophe. The aftermath left the general area of Mount. Fuji as the largest restored area.

Connecting the dots, we could say that the team would likely garner more interest from those who live within Inazuma.

Helix's origin from an underwater colony would find its attention given by those in Fontaine. Conqueror's case in resonating slightly more with Watatsumi lies within their and ASERA's long running respect-based Rivalry since 2560. For context, back in the 2560 season there were considerable differences in how the SRRL was ran. There were Speed Classes, 4 different models from each team, Energy batteries for boosting instead of thrust mechanisms and Intercoolers, and most notably: Power-Ups.

Conqueror had introduced a Power-Up called the 'Energy Drainer', which would send an arc towards another ship and leech off of their battery to recharge their own. And ASERA, having been heavily reliant on Energy batteries to compensate for their horrible top speed at the time, took a massive hit.

In retaliation, ASERA, with assistance from Koeniggswerth, came up with the EMP Blast, which would disrupt a ship's systems and negate other power ups for a brief period. Since then, it still seems ASERA holds a grudge against Conqueror for it, but at times they would find themselves working together against other teams. Talk about Frenemies, huh?

Sometimes a Team's regional pairing runs deeper than elements or ideals.

Below is a list of Pairings between the Teams and Teyvat's Regions.
------------------

Mondstadt - Akhal Tech, Mantis, Sulha

Liyue - ESA, Koeniggswerth, Buran

Inazuma - ASERA, Conqueror

Sumeru - Lunare Scuderia, Wallace-RG, Behemoth

Fontaine - Helix

Track Pairings
This is a list of pairings between Regions and the Tracks which will be showcased in numerous events of the story. While some pairings are more surrounding environment based than ideals and element for some areas, others will have slightly more similarities. As a plus, Tracks and Ships from RedOut 1 will also be making appearances in more ways than one. Areas marked with (RO1) are areas from the 1st RedOut.

Cloud Ocean - A settlement of floating villages built upon a cloud-breaching mountain's summit. It is unknown why, but a low gravity phenomenon is the reason of its construction. Residents consist of scientists, pure earth-born organisms, and those who chose to stay behind during the Exodus.

Caribbean Dam - The Caribbean Dam served as the Earth Society's largest fresh-water stocks during the Containment purges and Space Assault Era of the RedOut Universe. Before Mars was completely terraformed, those on earth were left with the choice to dig deep beneath the surface for the last clean water aquifers on earth. In the present, this facility is now abandoned, leaving behind an exotic, wild environment of a racetrack containing long wide straights, sweeping turns, dolphin jumps in and out of water spots, and a big enough track for Ships to unleash their potential.

------

Mondstadt - / Cloud Ocean / Caribbean Dam / Genesis Lunar City/ {Mondstadt Signature Track}

Liyue - / Mars Memorial / Caribbean Dam / Volcano (RO1)/ Tartarus Mines/ {Liyue Signature Track}

Inazuma/Watatsumi - / Mount. Fuji / Neo Tokyo / Mariana Trench/ Europa (RO1)/ {Inazuma Signature Track}

Sumeru (Dharma Forest)- / Abruzzo(RO1) / Sequoia (RO1) / {Sumeru Signature Track}

Sumeru (Great Red Sand)- / Old Cairo (Cairo Memorial, RO2) / Cairo (RO1) / Xanthe Terra (RO1 Mars)/ {Sumeru Signature Track}

???????? - / Origin Black Hole / P-A219 (RO1) / Terror Rupes/ {????????}

Dragonspine - /Alaska (RO1) / Cloud Ocean / {Dragonspine Signature Track}

Sure! My name's Stefan. Admittedly I've never played any of the Redout games (or wipEout or BallisticNG for that matter), but I do have Redout on my Steam wishlist and want to play it eventually, and the game's visual style has absolutely captured me. Initially, I found out about it because its soundtrack has been used for custom Spin Rhythm XD charts, and I really liked the songs too.
Other than that, I'm autistic, a maths student in his second semester and kinda bad at social interaction, but working on improving.
How about you? Also, I noticed that this is... apparently 1 on 1? So nobody else gets to join this RP?

Nice to meet you Stefan, call me Beetle. The visual charm of Redout was also what got me enamored with it. (Word of advice, Redout is NOT meant for the switch due to the games’ engines) That, and the fact that it’s rare nowadays to find lore in racing games. Had a lot of social therapy when I was younger since apparently I had high-functioning autism, but I still have little difficulties talking to strangers. Been trying to work on that lately heh..
Anywho, I’m going into junior year in highschool in coming months, drabbles of ADHD and experimenting on art. Gamer to the R, and a laid-back console user.

I’ve pondered turning this into a group Rp for some time, may do so in a slow pace. Likely better fitting due to how much the events expand

So what are the plans for this RP, how does this work? I tend to struggle writing longer texts, so the "no one-liners" thing might become an issue, but hopefully I can work past that.

Edit: Also, will the Tevyat natives make their own anti-gravity crafts? I'm sure Albedo could cook up something interesting.

I have some starting plotpoints on the ready, but can be chosen from. For the main parts, I’m currently developing a Racing System that may come useful for groups. Mechanics like Steer/Strafe power, collision velocity, and pilot actions like attempting to pass others or defend their positions and others are in the works. I guess we could say it’s a bit of testing ground in that concept.

I’d definitely see it happening, through with funding and support from the Srrl as well. Though before I get more specific on that, how far are you into Genshin’s story?

I'm currently partway into the Liyue questline and have yet to discover why Childe is being childish. Haven't touched Genshin for a while though, because it's really good at drawing you in, and I need that time for other things.

How would this racing system work, in more detail? Maybe I can help develop it.

P.S. The mental image of Venti going pedal to the metal in a Sulha is immensely powerful

Hey Hey!! You've attracted my interest^^ ( I dont know anything about redout buut this seems like a super cool concept i'd like to join in!!)

Redout is a futuristic anti-gravity racing game with the tagline "Race faster than ever", and it puts a lot of emphasis on speed. So much, in fact, that it emulates the red-out effect, in which high g-forces push your body's blood up to your head.

Also, Beetle, can I contact you over Discord for the racing system? I'm a little more flexible with that app instead of RPNation.

The racing system all comes down into these factors:

- In terms of RedOut 1, the stats of each ship are as follows:
Max Speed

Acceleration

Magnetic Grip

Structure ( aka Durability)

Energy Pool ( Max capacity of energy used for boosting and powerups)

Energy Recharge Speed

RedOut 2’s stats fall under a different category.

Top Speed

Strafe ( Ship’s ability to shift from side to side)

Steer (Ship’s ability to change direction faster)

Durability (Aside from how much punishment your ship takes, it also affects the heat rate)

Thrust (Your ship’s acceleration and boost strength. May influence durability)

Magnetic Stability (Higher stability means your ship loses less speed in turns)

———-

An example for Durability would be this:

Let’s say one pilot is in A Koeniggswerth Ship, and his opponent is in an ESA.

The Koen has a much higher grade stability than the Esa, but the ESA has better acceleration. Both of them approach a turn, and thr players have the option to take the inside, outside, or center of the turn.

The Koen player deduces that he will not be put at a disadvantage if he turned deep on the inside, while the ESA takes the outside to lose the least amount of speed.

Both players will need to put how much strength they’re putting into their ships’ speed, steer and strafe, as some are wide and long, or very sharp.
