Theodore
Griffith
Basics

Birth Name: Theodore Griffith

Current Name: Theodore Taylor (he only uses this name for governmental purposes or when introducing himself to humans)

Nicknames: Theo

Age: 23

True Age: 58

Birthday:May 11th, 1962

Zodiac: Taurus

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Bisexual, leaning preference towards women

Clan: Vieru

FC: Martin Conte

Appearance: Theo carries a tall and lean figure with the elegance and dramatism of a conceited actor. His brown hair is wavy when left natural, usually appearing like a stylish bedhead (not an accident of course, he styles it like this on purpose). He wears a mix of different clothing types to best suit the type of personality he aims for that day, sometimes a tweed academic, others a rebellious university student. His eyes are a misty, greyish blue that he's been told are "very expressive."

Hell is Empty
and all
the Devils
are Here
Personality

Theo likes to pride himself on his charismatic demeanor. He is like a chameleon, warping and changing his mannerisms and personality to smoothly fit into what people expect and look for in him. Rarely can someone say that they know truly what kind of person he is, and he likes to keep it that way. He's been wearing different masks for so long that he's beginning to forget what his true self was, if he ever had one. Objectively he is pampered and elegant, never hesitating to turn his nose up at a job or responsibility that doesn’t suit his needs. This habit creates a mildly selfish (and lazy) trait that more often than not rules his decision making and motivations. Theo is very poetic, taking inspiration from classic literature, stage plays and poetry. He lives his life as though he’s the main character of a dramatic play. This demeanor entails a certain type of unavoidable sensitivity and softness to his person. He hates being yelled at, being in the middle of conflict or even knowing someone dislikes him. He’s eager to please and work his charismatic charms whenever possible.

Likes: Literature, writing, art, creativity, late nights, red wine, decadent food, expensive parties, theater or movies, dinner parties, the taste of cold blood, cloudy/stormy weather, drama, romantics, lush materials, being liked, impressing others

Dislikes: Anger/wrath, violence, yelling, being disliked or hated, being talked over, warm blood, killing a human, feeling abandoned, being tricked or duped, cheap materials and food, analytical people, emotionless people, paperwork

Strengths: Negotiations, people pleaser, communication, observant, highly literate

Weaknesses: Overly passionate, sensitive, conscientious of image to others, can't think clearly when in love

History

Theo was a British international student at NYU before he was turned. He grew up in the 1960s, an only child to two upper class parents in the suburbs of London. He constantly daydreamed about how he would escape the tragic throes of his dreary, monotonous life in order to live a truly dramatic and eventful narrative that would rival a Shakespearean play. Through rumors buzzing around his private school in London, he had heard about the growing cultural lifestyle in New York in the village and yearned to be a part of it as an aspiring writer. Ever conscious of their status and the necessity of worldliness to upkeep it, his parents were fond of the idea of Theo receiving an American education. He headed to the states with a trust fund in tow, innocent and privileged for the new life that would await him.

As a typical college student, Theo’s lifestyle peaked during the late night hours. He would wander around the empty streets, mingling with other creators and artists as they got up to no good. This suited him well for the first years of his college life. He thought it was the start of his great literary journey, a coming of age story worth telling. It was through this lifestyle that he met his first love Celeste, a mysterious and seductive artist whose origins he never fully understood. She wasn’t a student at NYU, wasn’t a local but wasn’t a tourist. Her past was covered in just as much fog as her presence, but nonetheless, Theo got caught under her spell. He began diving into irregular behaviors that eventually brought about his demise. He skipped class for her, abandoned his friends, spent obscene amounts of money until his parents cut him off. Before he could realize it, Theo’s entire life had fallen away except for one, central piece. Celeste.

Successfully having seduced and isolated Theo, Celeste took him away on a trip to a more remote part of New York State, where she planned to feast and kill him. The night was a blur, one that Theo still has trouble recalling the details of. He awoke the next morning to a blood soaked bed and Celeste vanished from their motel room, leaving nothing behind but two sloppy puncture marks aimed right over his jugular. It was only moments after he had awaken before he felt the bloodlust start to kick in. His first human kill was a maintenance worker scheduled to survey the room after guests had checked out. Unable to control or understand his new innate desires, Theo drank an obscene amount of the man's blood, killing him in the process. The fresh, warm taste still haunts him, as does the kill. From that point on, Theo began only drinking cold blood.

Theo wandered close to the area he was turned for a year on his own, fearing that he might cave in once more to these new and insatiable desires. For a while, he got by on drinking animal blood from roadkill or naturally deceased animals, gaining more understanding and control with each drink. Unable to stave off his appetite for much longer than several months, Theo upgraded to humans (mostly those already dead), his inexperience and odd drinking habits leaving a blatant trail for the right people to follow. He was approached and recruited by members of the Vieru clan, taken under their guidance for many years. They informed him that Celeste was a rogue Vampire, a particularly ruthless one that usually left bodies for the clans to clean up, never victims. Theo is always looking for clues of her, unable to truly understand if everything that had happened was a dramatic act, or if there was something real. He can’t decide whether his lust to see her is romantic, or revenge.

Theo has been with the Vieru for over 30 years. Through the clan he learned how to hone his conniving, stealthy charisma to his advantage. It was through them that he was able to fully embrace his pampered and dramatic character, finally fulfilling the tragic role he had always dreamed of. His current life consists of him playing middle man between the three clans, as his charismatic nature makes it easy for him to cull favor for the Vieru. When not working within the clan, he usually prowls around New York's more creative and culturally innovative areas, peddling himself as a freelance journalist.

Caelum Albus

D.O.B.: July 28th 605 BCE

Age: 22, Actual Age: 2,625

Gender: Male

Sexuality: No preference

Appearance/Persona
Species: Angel (Formerly Archangel)

APPEARANCE

Caelum is a lanky 6'2". He walks with a sense of boredom or purposelessness, the reason behind such an informal demeanor stemming from the fact that he just doesn't care enough to righten his posture or appear formal. He dresses in a hip, skater style, which consists of comfortable clothes (a large portion which are black) and many many pairs of flat bottomed sneakers. He has a mass of curly brown hair that has a habit of obscuring his eyes from view. He never styles it, some days it looks neat, others a wild mess. He has heavy brows set over a pair of inky brown eyes. The most prominent aspect of his features is his lack of wings. He never lets himself be seen shirtless when he can control it, and answers questions to his lack of wings with a very defensive or deflective tone.

PERSONALITY

Caelum has the type of personality that many would describe as a deadbeat. He prefers to think of himself as "wasted potential." He spends most of his time doing what he wants, thoroughly enjoying saying no to what he doesn't. This attitude causes him to be very fickle in nature, as he cannot commit himself to any one person, cause or idea for very long. Once that commitment starts asking for more energy than benefits he receives in return, he fails to uphold the promises once agreed to before. Caelum is rough around the edges. He can be very blunt and to the point, but he never means any harm by it. His saving grace for this attribute is his ability to filter himself once gaining an understanding of what buttons not to press on others. Although he can be perceived as callous and fire-starting, Caelum himself is very difficult to upset or bring to anger. He believes it is a waste of energy to get that passionate about any topic or cause. There are times when Caelum becomes pensive, serious and less laid back than he usually is. These moments of brooding can be brought about by events or encounters that trigger certain memories and feelings within him, things he keeps tightly hidden from the knowledge of others.

History
BACKGROUND

Caelum descended from heaven during the early stages of the Roman Empire. Although technically not his birth, he considers this date his birthday, as it is the first time his consciousness was pulled into being. He was originally an archangel, called to Rome from the Order of the Angels by the pleas of its citizens, for a deity, any deity willing to listen, to stop the rampant outbreak of monsters throughout the span of the empire. Caelum, having just begun to figure out himself and the world, followed the orders handed down to him with black and white clarity, as though it was deeply ingrained within him. He reprimanded monsters toeing the line of order, and put an end to those long since beyond the boundaries set by the Order of Angels.

The long years in-between his original creation as an archangel and his current status as a low level angel are subjects he avoids or simply shuts down when it gets brought up. In the 1800's he was located in London, regulating petty crime violations of the angelic contract within the underworld. After the booming development of North America and the need for a regulatory force of the expanding underworld there, Caelum was relocated to New York City in the 1920s. He is extremely familiar with the workings of the Underworld in New York City, and is known for his ability to circumvent the specifics of the angelic contract in order to benefit himself. He knows many of the big players in every species. Most of them owe him favors.

Likes: Sleeping, nights, watching TV, alcohol, sitting around, relaxing, the thrill of skipping out on responsibilities, black coffee, tea, citrusy foods, anything to do with cities (tons of cars, pavement, tall steel buildings, centralized travel etc.) , smoke, cloudy days, rain, thunderstorms, lightning, high winds, snow

Dislikes: Orders, being reprimanded or lectured, being corrected, overly passionate people, being forced to do something, long days, feeling trapped, being lied to, overly sweet or savory foods, hot days, afternoons, countryside/country work/farm work, bright light

Age: 24
Actual Age: 576
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Bisexual
Date of Birth: May 9th 1444
Species: Woodland Fae

Persona
APPEARANCE

Terra Maye has a cherubic, welcoming face that usually has a pleasing smile and lit up eyes. She has a light sprinkling of freckles across her full cheeks, giving her a more innocent and natural look. Curly, dark hair frames her face, long enough to just barely sweep her throat. When her hair is wet it reaches its true length, down at her collarbone. She is small in stature but with a healthily filled out frame. She wears bouncy, breathable clothing. She loves flowing dresses and skirts with natural print that reminds her of home. Terra loves bright earth tones and typically sticks away from more drab colors like gray and black. Her most noticeable attribute are the sheer, deep blue tipped wings that closely resemble the Calopteryx Splendens dragonfly wings. When not in use, her wings mold neatly onto her back, their veiny translucent texture appearing like an intricate tattoo across her skin.

0dbb7f3743957d9bdbddc6a655fc759b.jpg

PERSONALITY

Upon first impression, Terra comes across as timid, shy and unsure of herself. She is very meek in a crowd, her personality easily becoming dominated by others. After living so long in the forest, surrounded by timid creatures such as deer, birds and rabbits, this first impression is a hard habit for her to break. When she feels comfortable in a situation, Terra is quite the opposite from when she is still feeling out people or events. She adopts a very bubbly demeanor, one that can boil over easily into frustration or anger. Terra is very competitive by nature, she hates the idea of losing or someone else doing better than her. She challenges others quite often because of this, and at times, can be a sore loser. Terra is wildly curious, despite her discomfort in new and unfamiliar situations, she loves thrusting herself deep into a mystery or adventure that beckons for her to explore. This curiosity is what drew her from the safety of the woods to the new signs of civilization that began to eat into her home.

History

(WIP)
Terra Maye was born from a Borage flower, a favorite of dragonflies. She spent her early years deep in the heart of the forest, learning from the native wildlife on how to adopt and live peacefully with nature. As she grew older, the isolation and harmony of the forest was disrupted by the incoming colonies avidly exploring their "new world." Terra, being as adventurous and curious as always, eagerly ventured into the new civilizations. Using her skills of observation and adaption, Terra easily melded in with the flourishing society. As more development swept across the country, she found it in her best interest to slide further into the underworld and away from humans, where she's generally remained ever since.

She currently works at the The Dead Salamander in New York City, a popular underworld bar located on the black market. The bar is infamous for its large scale gambling tournaments, which Terra loves to partake in. Her competitive nature and quick thinking made her an untouchable foe for many years. That is until she came across Cecil Ambrosius. Cecil was a well known sorcerer in the black market, his illegal spells and potions infamous enough on their own. Terra lost her first gambling tournament in years to him, an event that threw her into a spiral of rage and frustration for months. The two competed against each other in various tournaments for months on end, curating a tense rivalry that eventually, shifted into a convoluted sense of love. Terra and Cecil have been on again off again for years, their relationship see sawing easily between love and hate. Regardless, Terra holds him close to her heart, one of the only humans she allows herself to become close to.

The punishment of every disordered mind is its own disorder.
A
Antonio Hernández.

Death is not the opposite of life, but a part of it.
Basics
Creature: Witch - Necromancer.
Birth name: Antonio Hernández.
Gender: Male
Date of Birth: Mexico, Mazatlán. October 31st, 1994.
Age: 26 years old.
Sexual orientation: Only likes men.
Height: 6'4
Face Claim: Kevin Stranart

Personality

Antonio is a very shy and anxious man, as he is aware that his practice is highly illegal within the Coven, but simply finds death to be fascinating. He wishes nothing more than to break people's perspective on stereotypes in regards to Necromancy, as he uses it to help others come to terms with their loved ones death. He has an incredible thirst for knowledge and all he wants is to learn. He is a quiet, young man and an incredible listener, but once one mentions his passions he could talk for hours. He has a bright smile and a bright personality once he comes out of his shell, and could easily be considered a gentle giant. Unless angered.

Background

Antonio was born and raised in Mexico, Mazatlán. It's renowned for big-game fishing and beautiful beaches. Antonio was raised in a colorful town, along the beach. His hobbies included surfing, fishing, and magic. His parents were two no-named witches who fell in love at first glance. He was raised in a loving household and always encouraged to embrace who he was as both a person, and a witch.

When he was fourteen, Antonio's parents saved up money to help him move to England where he was to study at an Academy known to raising prominent young witches. It also helped that he was academically gifted, so he was rewarded with a scholarship. Though, after his first year at school...his mother passed away quickly and abruptly from an illness, and his father soon followed. He wallowed in his loneliness, drowned in alcohol, and left behind his only son to suicide.

In the span of a handful of months, Antonio was found alone in the large world that surrounded him. He had no one to turn to as he was always too focused on his studies, needing to keep up his academic performance in order to keep his scholarship. Though, naturally...death was hard on anyone. His grades began to slip, he became reserved and quiet, and no one did a single thing to help him. Why? Because, he was simply a no-named witch.

Though, one day...they spoke about taboo magic in class and was soon welcomed to the world of Necromancy. Desperate to talk to his parents for guidance, he ran to the school's library, to a section that was out of bounds for students and began to reading about Necromancy...but a fellow student caught him and reported him to the Dean.

Antonio was immediately suspended from school, left with no home, no education, no family, and no money. He adopted odd jobs for minimum pay and simply went where life took him...until he came in contact with Ms. Catherine...a wonderful witch who adopted him upon seeing his potential and pool of mana inside of him. And, to his surprise...she was a Necromancer. She taught him everything she knew, she fed him, clothed him, and paid for his studies. He insisted he wanted to be a doctor, use his Necromancy for good. He wanted to be a surgeon, he wanted to work in the morgue, he wanted to do everything!

After years of hard work, Antonio found himself in New York working for the Presbyterian Hospital. He used his magic to give families closure, offering them words that alway seemed to be the right thing to say in that moment...

His mentor died years ago, and he now lived alone in New York. Working, living, experimenting...hiding from the Coven.

Francis Boisseau
basics.
Creature : Vampire
Birth Name : François Bissonnette
Current name : Francis Boisseau
Gender : Male
Date of Birth : The Kingdom of France during the Renaissance. July 2nd, 1501. Turned at 29 years old.
True Age : info.
Sexual orientation : No preference.
Height : 5'9
Face Claim : Josh Upshaw
persona.
Francis is a kind soul who generally likes to keep the peace. He is an overly romantic man who is overly charismatic and is extremely theatrical. Due to his theatrics, he can be considered a little goofy and silly, and loves a good play with innuendoes. However, he knows how to read a room and understands there is a time for everything. While he loves to flirt and tease, he also enjoys long and serious talks, with empathy being is strongest suit. He is witty and has a sharp tongue, and charm his way through any situation. He is a good mediator and can convince anyone to do anything if given the chance.
background.
Francis Bissonnette was the son of a baker in The Kingdom of France, during the early years of the Renaissance. He assumed his family's business when his father died of the bubonic plague. Thankfully, bakers were highly regarded and needed during those times as they provided for the whole Kingdom, as well as the nobles. The importance of bread as a daily staple meant that bakers played a crucial role in any community. So, Francis generally lived a comfortable life. A busy, hard-working life...but comfortable. Sometimes. It depended on the season, and one bad grow season could leave a whole town to starve. Including himself.

Bakers had to manage a unique and specific set of obligations and situations while providing food for their families, remaining in good favor with the monarchy, and maintaining their standing within their Bakers’ Guilds. Bakers were often times millers as well, taking on the work of milling the grains in order to prepare flour for baking.

Bakers were generally townspeople and could earn additional income by letting their ovens to the nobles, who were required to provide public ovens for the use of their own serfs. Bakers needed to carefully manage their own obligations for daily baking for sale, daily baking for the community, and daily baking for their families with the time they leased to nobles for public usage.

In addition to keeping up-to-date on rules and regulations, maintaining strict quality guidelines, and managing their time and efforts in order to bake sufficient supplies of bread for the village, bakers faced some serious and often crippling problems.

The economic and political instability of the time, along with increased rates of disease, could easily lead to famine and starvation within a community after simply one bad growing season. Because preservatives were not available to keep bread fresh for long periods of time, there was no way to store and prepare for such occurrences. Instead, bakers had to make do with whatever ingredients were available, continuing to feed the village even if resources were low or unavailable.

During times of famine, the monarchy could, and would, step in and force bakers to make bread available at below-market prices to prevent their populace from starving. In extreme situations, a baker’s bread would simply be confiscated with no payment made and redistributed to those who needed it.

Unfortunately, these losses would need to come directly from Francis' pocket and table. His own family may find themselves without bread to eat and without funding to continue acquiring the materials they need to remain in operation. There were periods of struggle, but as they transitioned into the Renaissance things were starting to look up. Or so, he thought.

He married at the early age of fifteen, along with his wife. They had three children, two boys and one girl, and he watched them grow to be fine young men and women who would help around the bakery and fields.

Yet, at the age of twenty-nine...he grew ill. The doctors at the time didn't know what he had and didn't, couldn't, help him. He was left to die, yet with his last breath, one final doctor came to visit him. The doctor seemed to take pity on him, sinking his teeth into the man's neck to Francis' surprise. And, then...there was nothing. He couldn't remember a single thing.

He awoke, alone, in the middle of a dark forest. Without someone to guide him, Francis began to understand, slowly, who he was...or rather, what he was. He had to avoid sunlight and he was...disgustingly thirsty for blood. In one single week, he drained his Kingdom of their produce, their cattle, their animals...and he had to watch from a distance as his family starved or worse.

This was during the time the Royals thrived. He traveled far and long, desperate for any help or guidance, and he found it. The Royals were so kind, and instinctively he knew who they were and what they meant to him. He served them for a few decades, until a handful of people decided to turn against them, locking them away, and building what they now knew to be the Council.

Personality

Mizuki is a reserved woman at first, seeming to be a little stiff at the beginning when meeting someone for the first time. She is respectful and speaks eloquently, kindly. However, there is a natural fire inside of her that Elenora, a vampire who helped nourish her and care for her, sparked within her. As kind and as put together as she seems to be, she will not allow anyone to look down upon her and will call out someone else if they are being unjust or plainly cruel. She talks back, her words like a whip, and she can easily grow bitter. However, she will always apologize for any wrongs committed, and to this day...she's still trying to pay for sins from her past. But, besides constantly reprimanding herself and regretting her past, she's a girl with a lot of love and heart to give out.

Mizuki could be considered a superstitious woman, as she believes in there being a higher power, as well as the presence of spirits. She always believes there are eyes and ears out there watching one's every move, especially the celestial eye that watches over them all. The looks to the moon for guidance and prosperity, as the moon was the one thing that was a constant in her life. She could be considered whimsical or poetic, a pure romantic. She views the world in a rose-colored tint, seeing the beauty in everything thanks to her travels. Mizuki is always willing to try and learn news things, as she believes that true power comes from knowledge.

One could always see her curled up over her window nook reading a good book, or in her customized red room developing photographs. When she's not at work, she goes around the city's night life taking pictures of the absurd or unique for her own personal collection. She especially loves to take pictures of stray cats, even going as far as to lay out food for the local cats in her neighborhood. She always believed that vampires and felines weren't so different, and even found comfort in their presence. She carried around a red string in her pocket for good luck, as well as a charm in hopes she could find true love.

For those who she considers close or for those she loves, she has a warm and mother-like personality, always willing to extend a hand to those who have fallen. However, what comes around goes around, and the moment one acts unjustly...is the moment she sets her eyes on you and keeps her distance. If only looks could kill, right?
Backstory

Life before they turned: Mizuki, or Hanako, came from a small Japanese village during Japan's Industrial Era. They were a family of five, where Mizuki was the eldest daughter and she helped her mother with chores around their home, while her father and brothers worked the lands to sell their produce to villages nearby. They were a happy, quaint family...until one night they took in an injured traveler inside their home. That traveler was the man who brought misfortune over Mizuki.

Life after they were turned: If asked what she had learned in her long life of being alive, what she had done...what she had seen...Mizuki...wouldn't necessarily be able to respond to that inquiry. She'd glance away or fumble over her words as she would try to come up with a believable story. But, in reality? She didn't remember. All she knew, was that after the night of her turning...she awoke surrounded by the bloodied bodies of her quaint little family, and it was their blood on her hands. After that, she blacked out. Roaming around the world for her next meal. Whether it be from the blood lust, whether it be because her mind simply could not process the horrors she had just committed...Her vision was hazy and distant, she was a lost soul. Lingering in dark forests for a weary traveler.

Until one morning, hiding away from the ardent touch of a ray of sun, picking at her skin anxiously...she met another vampire who took pity over her. She was a wise and well-traveled vampire, she was a Lucinius. She was easily able to overpower Mizuki, taking her back to her home where she spent months helping her regain consciousness. Her name was Elenora and Mizuki loved her as a mother. Teaching her English as a second language, as well as how to read and write. Table manners. Clothing etiquete. To hunt for animals, and to morally invest in human blood without harming them. She practically raised her for a handful of years, until Mizuki was able to see the world in color...and not just in a sickly red filter. Elenora never reported Mizuki for the potential lives lost by the vampire, thinking she had suffered enough.

Yet, sadly, it was one afternoon that Mizuki had gone hunting for rabbits...that she returned to an empty home, and has never again seen the vampire she now called: "mother". She padded over to the breakfast table and saw a pendant, proof to show the clan that she was one of them. But, Mizuki never cashed in that favor until 1991, New Year's. After she had spent decades looking for Elenora all over the world, as well as traveling to see the sights, the cultures, the food...that she did not ever remember seeing in her feral state. She wanted to be as well-traveled as the woman she looked up to, in hopes to one day help someone else in need. That was why she went in search for the Luicinius clan, to offer her services, maybe even pay her dues for the pain she brought upon the humans all those years ago. She truly believed in peaceful harmony with the humans, and hoped that one day they would stop looking to vampires as the scary stories they told they children as a way to behave. While hoping to find Elenora, her main focus was the clan and its needs.

Current life: She has moved to New York and finally settled down after years of traveling. And, she fell in love with the "city that never sleeps"...perfect for a vampire. She fell in love with the night life, with the music, the cultures, the diversity!

Elenora had introduced her to her one, true love...photography. The young vampire at the time could not believe her eyes when she first saw a moment in time having been captured over photo-sensitive material. At first, she swore that the vampire stole a part of her soul and it was now trapped within the frame. Elenora laughed with her, saying how silly she was...Mizuki smiled at the memory, as she now held a camera in her hands.

Elenora left behind many things for Mizuki, and one of them was her wealth. Mizuki spent time going to a human school, so that she could learn from them, as well as learn about their photography. She was now a Fashion Photographer by day, and a loyal clan member by night.

Alejandro: Bookish and a thorough academic, Alejandro steers away from the petty drama between the clans in favor of navigating the more interesting treaties and documents drafted between them. Most of his time is spent researching old documents to prove a point, or to uncover a hidden secret.

Park Yun-Seo (Cecil Ambrosius): Terra's rocky lover and long time rival. A sorcerer well known for his illegal alchemy and shady deals, Cecil thrives in the underworld black market. Most of what comes out of his mouth is a lie, usually one that benefits him in some way. He is manipulative and distant, his only soft spot and point of weakness being Terra and his best friend Cassius, to whom he is bonded.

Cassius Marks: Hailing from a proud family of Sorcerers who trace their allegiance to The Guild back to the earliest acceptable time for Sorcerers to have families, Cassius is a black sheep. He rebelled against the responsibilities of his birth right as a member of the Marks family, choosing to instead fall into line with Cecil, an unknown 'mutt' with an extreme affinity for the super natural. The two met at the academy at a young age, becoming instant friends over their shared lack of respect for the rules and authority figures. Although the most talented in their class, Cecil and Cassius were consistently breaking the rules and getting into trouble. He is bonded to Cecil through the Sorcerer's Blood oath.

Katarina Greyson: Chaotic, manipulative, seductive. Katarina is only interested in her own survival and general self-perseverance, and does everything in her power to ensure she never grows bored. Meaning, she's usually very playful and hardly takes anything seriously. She sees people more as objects, and is always interested in seeing what people can do for her, not the other way around. However, she's not a bad person, simply misguided. She follows after those she believes will succeed and assure her a comfortable life. However, although she doesn't admit it to herself, over the years and with the people who surrounds her daily...her heart has slowly begun to soften.

Samantha Jones: Best known as "Mother to the Vieru". She is the the current and former leader of the Vieru Clan. She is a suave, calculating person and while she doesn't make it apparent...is entirely aware of everything that happens around her and in her community. She is usually a very cold individual. Her words are sharp and blunt, and she hates pussyfooting any given situation. However, when it comes to her fellow Vieru, she treats them with warm affection. As if they were her own flesh and blood, especially Theodore and Layla. She is also Celeste's long lost cousin, a detail she never shared with Theodore.

Charlotte Aven: She is Maximus' right-hand and most loyal Lasombra Member. She owes her very life to him, and would careless sacrifice her life for Maximus. Her whole world and her whole life revolves around him, and wherever he goes, she follows. She hates weakness and finds overly bright, frilly personalities to be a naissance. She also holds no respect for other clans or other people overall, and is barely civil with Samantha and Amon (Assur's Leader). She doesn't take vampires like Theodore seriously, as she sees him as childish and frivolous. She always acts as if she is above everyone else, for the simple fact that she is Maximus' "chosen one". She is polite to her own clan members, but can be very strict when need be.

Layla Williams: Layla has a crude and harsh personality, where she takes everything to extremes. She loved strongly, hated strongly, and she was known to explode here and there. When she found people she strongly cared about, like Theodore and Samantha, she grew overly protective of them and started seeing them as family. Due to her strong personality and "accept no bullshit" attitude, many find her to be reliable as she ensures things meet an appropriate conclusion. She has a healthy sense of justice, and will do everything in her power to do the right thing.

Celeste: No one knows much about her, except for Theodore and Samantha. The Council are actively looking for her, and state that it is because she has committed too many crimes against humanity. Though, is that the complete truth behind her bounty? She's a blood-thirsty vampire who cares about nothing and no one, but herself. She could be described as apathetic, cruel, and manipulative. Though, she does it all with a simple smile, and her moves are always calculated and graceful. No one knows what she really looks like, due to her Gift. Except for Theodore, and over the years she has grown obsessed with her paranoia. Due to her paranoia, she sought out the the help of demons.
