Raistlin and Tasslehoff
Some random forest somewhere

Raistlin and Tas walked for what felt like ages. Which was nothing entirely new. It was their main way of travel. Only this time, Raistlin did not have his stronger twins arm to lean on. The young mage had to stop more and more often. And as the day continued, they were coming to a harsh realization that neither of them had been responsible for carrying any supplies. Meaning all they had were what Raistlin needed for his tea, and whatever spell components that might be edible. Which, as a magic user, Raistlin would sooner starve than eat is only line of defense.

Tasslehoff, however, was much more effected by the lack of food. "Raistlin, can we stop and catch something?" The Kender whined, "oh, wait, are those berries?"

"They could be poison, and I have nothing to cure that…" the mage rasped, at this point keeping a rough grip on the shorter males shoulder to keep him from going off and getting himself killed. Though now, he was using Tas for support just as much as his staff.

They came to the break in the trees, and Tas stopped suddenly. Raistlin nearly collided into him and sent them sprawling into the paved road before them. Though, any grumpy outbursts were stopped by the sheer oddity of the road. It was paved smooth, with lines painted. Such things were rare to see, only the biggest cities had cobblestone paved roads. And those were still uneven at best. This was smooth, with only the occasional pot hole in view. He bent and touched the road, bringing his hand back. It didn't feel like any substance he knew.

"Tas…. I think we are far, far away from home…"

"Well, yeah. It's been ages since we've been to Solace." Tas responded, thinking that much was obvious.

"No, I mean we are not in Krynn." Raistlin sighed, looking down the road both ways. He frowned, seeing that they didn't seem too far from a city. It was lucky, and he judged that they might be to make it before sun-down. Depending on if he could keep his body moving. "This way." He instructed, leading the way toward where he assumed civilization to be.

"Well, if that's true then I hereby promise to guard you until we find the others!" Tas proclaimed, Raistlin just uttering a low groan.

They didn't make it far before a car zoomed by, blaring it's horn at the pedestrians. This excited Tas, who stuck his Hoopak in they are and spun it and shouted "wooo!" At the top of his lungs in an attempt toimic the sound.

Raistlin was much less entertained as he thought he was going to have a heart attack. He nearly jumped out of his skin, and ended up sliding and falling into the ditch on the side of the road. The kender only noticed after the mage uttered a few sputtered swears.

"Oh, here! Lemme help you!" Tas said, holding his Hoopak out for the Mage to grab.

"I don't need your help!" Raistlin snapped, swatting it away, working on getting up just fall again in a fit of harsh coughing.

This time Tas jumped into the ditch to help the unfortunate mage. This time, Raistlin got up and they went back into the safety of the forest. Tas was disappointed, but Raistlin was not in the mood for another heart stopping encounter with whatever that was.

Only to come upon something else. The two stopped as an insect like creature landed in front of them. Raistlin very nearly calling up a fireball, as most giant insects tended to want to eat them. However, the magical words failed when it spoke. Leaving him staring, shocked. Unfortunately, with his eyes, it made the already disturbing sight of a humanoid insect more so as it aged and withered.

Tas jumped up and down like an excited toddler. "Woah! I've never met a talking cockroach!"

Sebastian Michaelis
At Taskforce base

"Krogun?" Sebastian said, "no, no. Of course not. It would be terribly presumptuous of me when I have never met one of your kind before, now wouldn't it?" The demon bowed halfway. "If you wish, you may call me Sebastian." He said, just to be polite.

He straightened, noticing a few people, having previously ignored him, were now looking at him like he'd lost his mind. He wondered why, sure this individual seemed on edge. But hardly dangerous. Well, perhaps just not deadly to him. He looked up at the creature, not at all intimidated. He was not looking for a fight, so he remained relaxed.

He shifted his gaze to one of the entry ways, a Guard having walked in. He watched as the door slid open, and shut on its own. "Do you know how those doors function, Krogun?" He asked. Even though it was clear this creature was not in a socializing mood, the demon honestly did not care. The creature was now victim to his curiosities to this new environment.

Dave

So far, Dave was not having a good day. Usually, most days go by with nothing much happening, him serving up drinks to his customers with rather quick speed, and occasionally see a Buddy or two enter for their daily, to which he happily serve and spend a few minutes of break time interacting with.... which isn’t much due to the lack of being able to form Human tongue with its insectoid mouth, but still rather good at understanding what they are saying and typing it out on a tablet. This time however, it started off pretty normal... some same faces from here to there, and then it was some sort of army looking dude who entered, as well as none other than Blink, the one who pretty much make their transportation as easy as pie, who strike up a conversation with the stranger, the both of which ordering drinks at different times. But considering he was rather busy, he could only just hear what they were conversing about while he continued to serve up drinks, and then came what appeared to be a smaller version of the human species. Seemed much more mature than first glance, but he wasn’t an expert at human biology... so it must have been a shorter than average male with some sort of growth problem or was some sort of case with having a young body yet a far older brain.... he will never understand what the hell humans would think up of next with their insane brains, considering this kind of thought had existed on human illustration books for a while.

But hey, as long as he was willing to pay.... good enough... if not, well, he was gonna find some way to make the young ‘adult?’ pay, because it seems that they helped themselves to two drinks now, one of which was another individuals drink. Nothing much to note other than another stranger and Basilio popping up, but what did cause him to get so stressed already and possibly loose a few days from the rest of its lifecycle was some sort of man in futuristic armor... who began attacking one of his customers and did a bit of property damage. He was about to let out his insectoid rage in chittering form, but the man left outside to possibly fight out there, which cause the Ladybug to raise one of its limbs to its head and shake it slowly.... what kind of security he is hiring if they couldn’t even take out one human in a futuristic suit... never mind that, he know that they probably did their best but eh, he will make sure that they were fine in a bit.

Then, one of his bouncers, Hugo if he recalled quickly, brought yet another kid inside his establishment. Yet, another source of stress as he began to wonder what was going on, and was about to ask Hugo before a bottle on a nearby table seemed to explode for some unknown reason. Can’t Dave go a single month without something trying to ruin the reputation of his bar!?! But thankfully, Hugo was going up to help with the mess and possibly get the Janitor to deal with it as well.... good, that means he could still serve some customers and if given some free room, help out with the mess as well. But, it seemed that kid that Hugo was escorting decided to help himself to a glass that the ‘kid?’ he let in earlier and refilled it before taking a large sip from it, now possibly satisfied.

Ok.... maybe he shouldn’t be letting in ‘small humans’ into his establishment for now on.... because this might make him look bad, but eh, he is gonna let only these last two into the building and once they are gone, maybe keep anyone else around their size and appearance outside... well, nothing to do now except serve more drinks, as well as possibly help out with the broken bottle situation.

Alpha's reverie would be broken by a commotion she heard as she walked. The Boss Monster would look to the edge of the city, and see a trio of people talking. One old, one normal looking, and one covered in what looked like bug armor. Bug armor? That couldn't be right. With a turn of her heel, she'd face the trio, curious.

As much as her survival was a priority, she wanted to know more. If they were a threat, it's not like the Taskforce would mount an investigation into the deaths of three otherworlders. Hell, she might even get a medal, she thought. And with a quick start, she was already moving to check it out.

Head down, hands in pockets, she just looked like some human weirdo who was walking in their direction. Or so she hoped, since afterall, she could easily be detected with magic or some sorta superpowers. But sometimes you don't expect this sort of thing, so she was counting on them to be too busy for her to not get a look, as she walked towards the little road that led out of the city, and into a forest.

Interactions: Gabriel Rorke ( Stricken Steel Stricken Steel )

Mentions: Starflight ( gwenpool gwenpool )

Starflight curiously cocked his head, observing the object from his distance. "Hm. The interrogation," he referenced after the comment about Rorke, "I didn't expect it to be easy, interrogating a Resistance member. Without that base they would be good as finished, after all. I'll expect we'll both be hearing results soon. ...Regardless, good work today. I look forward to seeing the report." 'Unexpected development' was not usually a good thing, but Starflight felt reassured by the captain's disregard for it. At that exact moment, the dragon heard the sound of the explosion. Shit! "Check that out!" Starflight commanded, and would be following close behind.
Gabriel Rorke

Rorke put a hand on the lock and unlocked it then opened the door. There was a small pin-like thing that had fallen off the other side of the door. Rorke instantly jumped back...as the Five-second delay quickly passed in the grenade-rig. "Intruders! WE have Intruders!" Rorke shouted as the blast threw him back into a wall, As well as shrapnel everywhere.
Cole raced towards the sound of the explosion, with Starflight close behind. As they rounded the corner towards one of the interrogation rooms, Cole could see the explosion had taken out the interrogation room door, as well as some of the connecting wall, and the whole area was riddled with shrapnel.

In the centre of it lay Rorke, his body slumped against the wall. Cole rushed over towards him and placed his hands on Rorke's shoulders. "Rorke! Rorke! Can you hear me!?" He was unresponsive. "Rorke! C'mon say something!"

Eight

Eight watched the Super-Soldier as he walked outside. "Whew...Basilio. C'mon bud." Eight helped Basilio up quickly, and finished off the rest of his own bottle of Vodka. "Alrighty, Lets go." The Ranger says as he walks outside to find Alcatraz staring at the community around him. Liberty Prime stomped by the bar shaking the ground, But not hard enough to cause problems.

Gabriel Rorke

Rorke came back to consciousness very quickly and pushed himself up. "I'm okay..." He says to the captain as he looks to the door. "No...Only a Ghost did that." When Rorke peered inside the room the Vakarian was missing.
"Sound the alarms! Tell the Soldiers to be on full alert! As for me..." Rorke pulls his .44 Magnum off his hip and pulls back the hammer. "I have a ghost to kill."

Alcatraz noticed the Ranger and quickly turned to him, Which kinda spooked the NCR Ranger. Then Alcatraz scanned the Ranger and then looked back to the community around him. "They...Tell...Us...To...Never...Be Sorry, But...I am..." The Suit was still Synthesizing a voice for Alcatraz since his vocal cords were destroyed in the submarine accident then his Platoon was killed off by the Ceph Gunship. Alcatraz was very alive when Prophet had found him and was thankful for the suit since it healed his wounds.

Well, it was nice to see that even in a different dimension, he was still surrounded by idiots. Five huffed into his drink, fingers tapping against the glass with impatience, eyes raising momentarily to shoot a glare in Blink's direction.

She was useless. All of them were useless. Why did no-one ever know anything? Why did he always have to figure this shit out on his own?

He missed Dolores. She'd have known something. She always did. She was smart, unlike everyone else.

She'd probably scold him for drinking. She'd never liked it when he was drunk. "Shut up, Dolores." The words were muttered under his breath, a hand raising to bat at the air, as if trying to shake off whatever hallucination he was speaking to. "'Least I can walk, you always needed to be carried around, do you know how heavy you are? Not very heavy... But still, I can walk!"

Another swig of his drink. His margarita sat, empty, in front of him.

He'd have to wave Dave over for a refill, he had the cash. Had lot's of cash. Not his cash, of course. He'd mugged a guy only a couple of days ago, Steven or something? Cried like a little bitch when Five had threatened to snap his neck, something about family?

Five could relate. Although, he was fairly certain that Steve-o's family wasn't gonna cause an apocalypse. Again.

Why did his sister have to blow up the moon?

"I needed that cash, Dolores." Once again, Five was speaking to a hallucination, completely unaware to his surroundings. His eyes narrowed as he stared Not-Dolores down, pointing a finger at her accusingly. "You'd do the same! We all would! Thas' just how survival-" Pause. A hiccup escaped his mouth. Five found himself giggling at the sound. "-Works! I'd rather mug a guy than eat 'roaches, anyway." God, cockroaches tasted awful.

Dolores only stared at him.

"Can I get another margarita?" Was Dave even still around? Shit. The whole damn room was spinning. Had he accidentally teleported into the washing machine again?

Wait.

Was someone speaking to him?

Five blinked. Dolores was gone. The bar was still spinning. And there was someone seated next to him. "Where the hell did you come from?" Unfocused eyes squinted at the newcomer, lips setting into a thin line of irritation. That asshole had taken his drink. "Give that back, asshole. S'not yours." Pause. "S'not mine either, but I'm drinking it." He was laughing again. Why was he laughing? He didn't know why he was laughing but he couldn't shut up.

Shit... Dolores was right. He was drunk off his ass.

Which probably explained why he was on the floor right now. He didn't even remember falling off his bar stool. At least it hadn't hurt. Or he hadn't noticed any pain, yet. Aside from the pain in his ass that was this new guy.

Connor found himself rooted to the ground, LED flashing red as Naga bounded forward, his eyes widening in alarm. He wasn't scared, at least, he didn't think he was. There was something oddly endearing about this strange animal. Cute? Was that it? It -no, Naga- somewhat reminded him of Sumo. Large, but... adorable.

A weak smile tugged at the edges of his lips. "Hello?" A pause, Connor's eyes flicked between Korra and Naga, looking to the former for somekind of reassurance. Did Naga was to be pet? She seemed to be waiting for something. Maybe she did? Dogs liked to be pet, at least, the dog he'd met liked to be pet. Truthfully, Connor didn't know much about dogs. He liked them. But he hadn't been designed to interact with them. "Naga?" He extended a hand out cautiously toward the polar bear dog, letting it hover in the air for a moment before finally petting the large canine, maintaining eye contact with her owner all the while.

"She's soft." He commented, letting his fingers dig into Naga's fur, the light at his temple pulsing blue. He was silent for a moment, listening to Korra as she spoke again. "A vacation." The android repeated her words as if uncertain, head cocking to the side momentarily before he let his attention slip to Naga, watching his own hand as it stroked through the animals fur. "I suppose it would make for a suitable location." The city seemed, nice enough, in his opinion. He didn't know if he'd stay for long, seeing as he wanted to get home somehow, but it was pleasant enough. He just wished he could find at least some supplies. Briefly, his gaze flicked to his arm, jacket torn and wires sparking beneath his chassis.

"My name is Connor, I'm the-" He cut himself off before he could finish the sentence, mouth pulling into a frown. He wasn't with CyberLife anymore. He was deviant. He had autonomy, free will. He shouldn't be introducing himself like that anymore. "I haven't been here for long, and I don't know if I'll be staying. This place doesn't seem to have what I've been looking for."

Tech-Com Commander John Connor
Somewhere in an unidentified city???

=======================================================================

This modern-day Earth was going to take some time to adjust to. John was used to wartime and the buildings near him being wrecked all around him, metal and human skeletons everywhere.

But what was even more odd was the fact there was a creature not human walking on two feet (Alpha), something he’d never seen before in his life and two others.

Being cautious was John’s nature and it naturally alarmed him when the others looked at him.

He hid his plasma rifle, quickly on his guard “You aren’t a terminator .. are you?!”

Coming from a man vs. machine war had its downfalls.

This Modern Earth thing was really starting to give Mike a headache considering this was yet another earth with another war. He was cautious as he had all his weapons nearby, but still was extremely annoyed by being "Skinned" by CELL. Who knew if anyone he knew was nearby. Without his nanosuit, things were harder to put in perspective but he was glad that none of the CELL operatives were here. Without a word, he moved quickly with his weapon, cautiously and carefully near the bar.

He was ready to kick down the bar door but he never did.

He stopped, his mouth slightly agasp seeing a familiar Nanonsuit user in front of him.

No, this Nanosuit seemed a lot newer, something Prophet would of used in the past.

"PROPHET?! Where the hell have you been all this time?!"

Not only that but the nanosuit using Prophet was somehow being choked by another man.

"Whoa, what the bloody hell is GOING ON HERE?!"

“Consider yourself lucky that I’m a beetle.” Well, she mentally corrected, also a treehopper but that’s a bit too specific. Still cautious of the odd duo she felt at least some relief that the pair were maybe willing to talk. For now. She wasn’t certain how long the drug would last, certainly not an hour like the stuff back on her Earth, and it would be troublesome if not risky to double the dosage. Better keep the pleasant atmosphere going.

Still, she left a hand on the pack that was tied to her hip. Besides another pair of doses, the pack also contained a bit of cash for the road and her communicator. A light pack for what she expected to be an uneventful trip. As if there wasn’t enough going on, Karoline’s antennae quivered as they picked up another presence. Glancing to the left she only caught an eyepatch and a hoodie, that was certainly weird but then again, so was the pair in front of her. And so am I, she countered. She huffed a sigh.

One thing at a time.

Refocusing on the pair she began to speak, “Okay so-“ Was as far she got before yet another presence caught her attention. This one didn’t wait to speak, and Karoline couldn’t stop herself from answering with the obvious question, “What the hell is a terminator?”

Nanosuit 2.0

Alcatraz turned to the man that had said something, The sun glinted off his reddish visor as he stared at the somehow familiar man. "Prophet...Was the previous wearer of this suit. He gave the suit to me and killed himself from going mad, As the manhattan virus slowly ate away at him." Alcatraz stopped himself as a memory of the Prophet's slipped into his mind.

'...Prophet had put on a parachute alongside Nomad and Psycho. The jump leader had motioned them out the large military aircraft and they jumped out. They were all wearing much older Nano suits than the current one Alcatraz was wearing. Although, Prophet's parachute had somehow failed and he fell into the shallow water, His Nano suit taking in and absorbing much of the damage...'
The sensors in his visor recognized the man as Mike Sykes and his callsign was "Psycho". "As for your understanding Psycho, This is the year 2021." Alcatraz spoke with his newly synthesized voice.

Raistlin and Tasslehoff
Some random forest somewhere

Raistlin recomposed himself, now far more curious about the creature that claimed to not want to fight. Which was just as well, he didn't have the energy for a full battle. The lack of food, not that he ate much to begin with, was wearing him thin.

He remained silent, observing the newcomers as they approached. He couldn't see the hooded figure well from this angle. But the person was not human. He could feel that much, like his magic was trying to tell him but it was just too quiet to gain the details. And not far being that person, was another. A man with… a wand of sorts. Not of magical make, but something else he didn't know. He scowled, not liking that fact. He shivered lightly as a breeze swept thru, and grabbed the edge of his worn red traveling cloak to pull it around himself. It probably wasn't actually cold, but his body ran at a higher temperature than what was normal for a human. His grip tightened on his staff as the other man brandished his… not wand.

Tas was, again, fascinated. "Hullo!" He waved friendly, seeming oblivious to the potential danger. "I don't know what a Terminator is, but this beetle lady doesn't want to to drag is back to her lair and eat us. So I think she's nice! Thought it would have certainly been a new experience. I'm all for new experiences. I'm Tasslehoff Burrfoot! And this is my friend, Raistlin. He's a super powerful wizard."

The kender held his hand out to the bug lady, clearly an invitation to shake hands. He remained rooted there until she did, a wide grin on his face that quite literally went from one pointed ear to the other. Only once he got what he wanted did he move to approach the others, clearly not seeing the potential threats. Very nearly walking straight up to the strangers before Raistlin finally moved and pulled him back by the collar of his fur lined vest.

"I apologise… he is very exciteable…" he rasped, his voice soft and barely above a whisper. They were still close to the humanoid beetle though, and as he moved his golden eyes with their hourglass shaped pupils to study the other two, he missed Tas' hand sliding curiously toward the insectoids bag.

Alpha turned as soon as John called her a terminator. The two men and the bug lady would have to wait, this one was armed. Terminator though. Wasn't that in a movie? She remembered macho man movies as part of indoctrination, something to glorify their job. It rang a bell.

"I'm not a Terminator."

She'd say, curtly, before looking to the group. Raistlin, Tasselhoff, John "Baum", and Karoline. She didn't think she could take them all on, not without attracting attention. Regardless, she was pissed. On closer inspection, now that she had made the mistake of looking up, her goat-like face was visible. Her white-furred hands were also visible now that she had them out, and in those hands was a greyish revolver. The wizard would feel a strong magical connection to the weapon, which would give away its true magical nature.

"But what I will be is dead if you four start making a commotion."

The Boss Monster would say, quickly, with some venom. Introductions didn't seem to appeal to her, so she had no intention of giving them a name yet.

"I suggest bug lady turn around and head back. You're dead if you go in there. You three can pass as normal."

She'd warn, quickly.

Under normal -when was the last time anything was normal?- circumstances she wouldn’t have offered her hand, yet this Tasslehoff was a rather disarming individual. Still, her handshake was limp at best though that was more so due to both her own unmastered strength and the small stature of the other. She hoped he wouldn’t take any offense to that. As for the apparently super powerful wizard, he didn’t look so good. Though not a doctor for normal people Karoline could certainly notice a sick person when she sees one. It was during that inspection that she noted the older man’s odd eyes, somehow that feature seemed enough evidence to make her believe that he might just be super powerful.

However with so many people present Karoline couldn’t keep her eyes on one for long, she would turn her focus to the possibly non-magical human. This one earned a raised brow, not because of his surprise to her existence of course but because of his outlandish story. It would almost seem unbelievable had her own Earth not been so strange itself, still it was quite the tale, so much so that the best response she had on hand was, “Uh huh. That’s…something.” An awkward reply for certain, thankfully she offered a much better, “Nice to meet you as well.”

She was very aware of John’s stare and probably mixture of confusion and awe. If she wasn’t stuck on not her Earth it would have been a little amusing, seeing a mirror image of her own reaction to the metamorphosis. That being said, between the stare and her own uncomfortableness with the entire situation she was almost glad when the fifth amigo spoke up. Almost, and even if she did it would have only been aggressively stolen away by the ominous warning of the girl. That combined with the goat-like features made Karoline really wish she picked a different area for a test field.

Figuring it best to not just take this stranger's word as gospel Karoline asked the obvious yet again, "Can I ask what is that way?"

"You had a great run, sir," Pepper appeared behind Zadruch to say. "Shut up," Zadruch Vohn said through gritted teeth to his Ghost before giving an awkward thumbs up to his newfound ally. We're gonna die.

Garrus stopped for a moment. "I'm supposed to know what that means?" He asked aloud concerning Logan's comment before honing back in on the mission. "Let's hope my krogan friend can fit up here." Garrus wished he could be more useful than just a pistol, but they were somehow able to disable his omni-tool, the implant in his arm that allowed a holographic interface -- used for communication, data, but most importantly, his tech-based abilities like hacking. While the turian was more known for his sniping abilities, without his omni-tool it felt like a fight with an arm tied behind his back. Garrus would need to look into repairing it when back at a resistance place. Then Garrus heard the alarms sound. "Shit," he remarked, "guess we need to shift this into high-tailing mode. Waiting on your word." The turian tensed up, waiting to drop -- most likely into a battle.

Wrex was too confused by this boy's attitude to be mad thus far. "It slides," he stated plainly, blinking once in a deadpan sort of way. He noted the kid's interest, taking a wild guess why. "Good luck getting out," he said with a sarcastic growl, "those are pretty secured with their uh... security system, I guess." Shit if he knew specifics. When he heard the alarm start to sound, he stared up at the flashing lights, seeming calm, tranquil, even, for a krogan. A toothy smile ran across Wrex's face.

"Goddamn....." Basilio said, trying to shake off the blow as he steadily rose, nodding in thanks to his ally that helped him up. Exiting the bar to confront the stranger, he sighed to himself, "what the hell we do to this guy, anyway?" When another approached, seemingly of the same universe from the way the two conversed, Basilio felt very out of his element. But at least hostilities seemed to be ceased -- for now. Basilio could really go for an axe or bow right about now. He decided to wait and see what transpired -- not gonna risk dying yet.

"Cole, I need you to go and secure the prison," Starflight commanded, "I'll be right behind you. If this 'Ghost' plans on causing more chaos, we could have a much larger prison break on our hands. Rorke -- find them." He agreed with the Ghost-Killer's mission, not stopping his revenge which only meant a greater chance at keeping this situation under control. "I want at least one Resistance member left alive, if possible." He asked, "there's still a chance of us getting information on that base, and I want to take it."

The entire situation happening inside and out of the bar sent Blink into a mild inner-panic. What the.... hell was happening right now? When the fighting started, Blink stayed behind Tequila at the bar -- she had no offensive abilities and therefore knew her place in this situation. She nodded and watched him go. "Be careful," she said nervously. Blink wasn't sure whether to follow, so for now stayed put. She wondered if Utopia was really worth it for her, if even here, chaos could erupt in an instant. Blink was mildly concerned about how casually some of the bar-goers were treating this.

(Korra post incoming as well, my phone doesn't fully load jump. jump. 's posts for some reason so need to make that post on my mac)

Naga sat back up, her head still in reach of Connor's hand, and her leg now thumping against the ground heavily, very pleased.
"Oh, you're looking for something?" Korra asked, "maybe Naga and I can help. She's a great tracker, after all." Naga wagged her tail harder as if in response. The duo were mainly going to Utopia for rest and food -- Naga ate a lot, given her size. Korra didn't mind detouring to help this Connor guy with something -- he seemed nice, at least compared to some other people she'd come across so far in this strange, new world. Korra noticed at that moment the gash Connor had.
"Hang on, Connor, are you hurt?" Korra asked with immediate concern and a somewhat raised voice, jumping down from the polar bear dog and coming closer.
"I'm a healer, I could help you." While Korra recognized things about Connor were strange -- the color-changing light on his head, for one -- she didn't acknowledge he wasn't human. So her waterbending seemed like a safe bet. But she wasn't going to start her attempt without his permission.

"Signs! I's put up big spooky totems covered in skulls ta keep da ummies out, but dat didn't work." He spat as he turnd towards the new comer. The hollow pits that where his eyes now glowing a sickly green as he stared at the tiny man. "And yous tink a ew signs will keep dem out. No, no, no I's tried it da nice way in des new bayou but yos ummies just won't stay outta ma swamp. So nows da time fer ore violent measures." And with that he stomped sending a piller of earth shooting up from behind Zadruch trying to launch him into the water where the gators where waiting. At the same time the leeches burst from the muck and tried to swarm the new comer.
