I mean, who says our characters are necessarily gone? It still focuses around the kids, and our characters are around, but not the main focus. Like maybe,
The bad guys have done some magic shit and all our current characters just “disappear”, causing their kids to suddenly have to step up and find them. The kids think that their parents are gone forevermore Then at the end it’s revealed that they were kind of magically kidnapped and they’re actually fine! Happy endings bluhbluhbluh

Granted, it’ll be a bit complicated integrating what I have planned for new OC’s, since the second problem will revolve around the old OC’s but I’ll figure it out lol
