In the time before they got on stage, Alma ran through her usual sort of pre-show rituals to eliminate any jitters. That included applying a heavy coat of dark eyeliner underneath each eye, thinking through the set list, tapping through a couple of rhythms, - if she’d brought her headphones she’d likely listen to the set list all the way through but she didn’t have the time to head all the way back across the ship to go through her luggage.

Loud cheers pulled the brunette from her thoughts, signaled that the group before them was done. Letting her eyes briefly slide over the previous group as they exited, Alma followed closely behind her group as they took to the stage. It was finally time to get this thing over with.

Luckily, she didn’t have to carry her instrument on stage - that likely would’ve been a three person job. The drum set was already assembled so Alma just took a seat, pushing her curls behind her ears as she schooled her features into her usual show persona - cool and collected with a hint of wild energy brewing underneath that exterior. Taking the drum sticks between her fingers, Alma let the loud excitement of the crowd wash over her, drown out any fears or hints of apprehension.

Glancing between her band mates, eyes lingering a bit longer on Sammie as her thoughts ran back to the previous drama of the day, Alma flashed the girl a wolffish grin as she waited for the signal for her to tap out the beginning rhythm of their first song.

Elijah let out a deep breath as those fingers found their place along his. Even now it brought him so much... He didn't know what to call it. But it stabilized him. It calmed him. To know that Z was there. With him, by his side. Sure, he cared about the rest of the band as well, but Z... He had always had a very strong connection with Z. In a different way than he had with Lacey. He let out a surprised gasp when he was pulled back and suddenly those lips were on his cheek. For a moment flabbergasted, more so at the sudden jump his heart made than anything else. It was not the first kiss they had shared, by far. They had been so much further than this and still... His heart seemed to have chosen this moment to do a sommersault through his chest. Probably just because it was so unexpected. He grinned back at the keyboardist, his eyes sparkling. See, Z always knew how to bring his mood back up.

The guitar player hummed softly as those fingers ran through his locks. Oh he wouldn't mind them doing that some more. A bit harder.... No. Now was not the time to think about that kind of stuff. Not at all. They were still backstage and they indeed had to celebrate. He let his fingers slide between those of the taller male so they were laced and thus truly connected. He didn't look over his shoulder to the other band entering. Yet, he was curious to hear them play. He undid his guitar strap so he could put the instrument away, without having to let go off Z. He laughed as the other made them punch the air in victory, before Lacey moved them all into a big group hug, just like before going up on the stage. "The new song, it was amazing," he said. Even if he gotten a bit too carried away perhaps. He leaned a bit more into Z, somehow needing some more of that supporting, stability from the other.

Elijah looked over at Lacey as she suggest going to a club or so. He would love to do some dancing and close body grinding with Z, and NYC, if he was up for it. One thing was for sure, Elijah was not gonna let Z spend the night alone. Either in Z's room or his own room, he was gonna finish what he so playfully started after his arrival. "You bet your ass there is a VIP lounge for us," he chimed in. Yet he couldn't help but to finally glance back to the band that stood on stage. Sammy in the center of the stage, with her microphone. Yet for a moment his attention was taken away by the male behind the keyboard. Of course it was a keyboardist. He had a thing for those as he grinned up to Z. "Look, there is mister Southern Charm," he hummed. Too bad he was connected to Solasta, and thus Sammie, he wouldn't have mind invited him over to their VIP lounge.

His eyes traveled further to the drummer, a female, kicking off their beat and then finally going back to Sammie. He could see how tense she was. Even after all these years he could see it in the way her eyes were searching through the crowd, the way she held that microphone. Their song, and perhaps their whole set, had had the impact he had wanted it to have. Yet that earlier smirk didn't come back to his face this time. "You guys can go ahead if you want, I will catch up," he said with a grin, "just send me a text which club you decided on. I am feeling something latin?" He like the sensuality of the music and just the whole sexy mood that always hung around latin music. "I would like to see them play for a bit," he said. He really had wanted to see Sammie fail, but now that he saw her standing on that stage... His heart clenched with a bit of guilt.

She really didn't have to ask if they remembered the setlist, but she'd needed to say something to cover up the tension in her shoulders and the uneasiness in her eyes. Never had she felt this way before a show, but she wasn't going to let that stop her. She'd worked hard to get to where she was now. She could hear people chanting their band name, and she almost sobbed. Emotional was not her forte, so she shoved the tears aside and walked onstage.

The crowd got silent as the lights dropped.

Without realizing it, her lips had broken out into a grin. She gripped the microphone stand in front of her, and when the lights nearly blinded her, the crowd nearly deafened her as well as they cheered and hollered for the four members onstage. Sam cast a glance back at the others, giving a slight nod to Alma on drums to count them in.

"One... two... three... four!"

Sammie had counted along in her head, letting the familiar notes and rhythm encase her mind and soul. The music counted down to her cue. And then it was gone.

She'd missed it.

She froze, eyes darting towards Ash, the only one she could see without turning her head too much and giving it away. She'd never missed a beat before, much less a starting cue. The crowd hadn't noticed yet, but they would soon if she didn't start singing.

Fuck it.

Her bandmates hadn't stopped, so she slipped in with her powerful vocals, missing the first line or two but pretending as though it was supposed to be that way. Of course there would be people who knew the song, but she couldn't think about that now.

I still recall the bitter taste
I guess something's never changed
And then I think of yesterday
And every promise that you made
I never thought I'd be the one that you would break

But I will fight until the day the world stops turning
And they will fall to ashes
I will just keep burning
But tonight
I need you to save me
I'm too close to breaking
I see a light
I am standing on the edge of my life
Standing on the edge of my life
Standing on the edge

The song continued, and she didn't miss another cue. Her stage presence was back, the emotions in her words and voice hitting each individual in the crowd.

Ash had been excited by the fact that they were getting the chance to play their set at last. He had given one last look to his bandmates and he was ready to rock. However, as soon as he started things he thought were going well weren't and Sammie had missed her cue so he had taken matters into his own hands. He had decided to switch the riff up just a bit which he knew might throw off the others but at least then it wouldn't seem like Sammie had miss the cue. He could only hope that the fans would think that they were trying out something new in their sound for this specific set. He could tell that she had been nervous he just hadn't realized how nervous. Once Sammie had gotten back on her mark everything else had seemed to be going smoothly for the band as a whole. He had managed to move around the stage just a little and his adrenaline was running high. It was the best rush he could have ever felt and a moment he wished he could bottle up and keep forever.
The lights around them were bright and shining all around. He could feel the heat not only from his body but from the lamps as well. The sweat was pooling down his body but he didn't want to stop. It was the most fun he had playing in a long time and the sweat was something he could handle. It was worth the discomfort for him because he was doing exactly what he loved.
The song minus the one small blip had gone well. The crowd was cheering for them and a smile was now plastered to Ash's face. This had been everything he had hoped for in life and he could only imagine what everyone else was thinking. They had all worked so hard to get where they were. The mistakes, the arguments that only happened occasionally, the exhaustion had all been worth it for the exact moment that they were all now in. He hoped each and every one of them felt the same way he felt. All their hard work had finally paid off and this was only the start for them. He believed in them as a band and as friend. Sammie as stressed as she had been always came alive on stage, she had the presence and she knew how to work the crowd. She had proved that in the very moment that they had just had.

The rest of the show blew even Sammie out of the water. The venue itself was amazing, and the crowd cheering them on made them play and sing even harder. The duet with Max, his debut vocals, was the second to last song, and then they ended with a high note via a fast-paced, blood pumping song. The crowd went wild when the last notes were played, and Sam resisted the urge to slam the microphone down. She grinned instead, hanging it up on the stand and stepping back, raising her hands high and taking a bow.

As they left the stage, in a rare show of emotion from the blonde, she hugged each of her bandmates in turn. "That was amazing!" She told them, reaching up to run her fingers through her wild hair. Grinning, still riding the high of the show, she turned to see one of the event coordinators coming their way.

"There's an afterparty. Solasta is invited, as are the rest of the bands. It's an open event, meaning the rest of the people on the ship are welcome to come, too. It's in ballroom A and B, if you're interested in attending." He looked like he wanted to say more, but Sam turned to the other three.

"What do you guys think? Wanna go to a party?"

Lacey strummed a few chords on her acoustic guitar, sheet music paper spread out around her on her bed. She had spent the entire day trying to write rough drafts of songs. But nothing was coming to her. It was like musician writer's block, and it annoyed her to no end. Sure, the songs she wrote rarely saw the light of day. Most of them were too personal for her to share with the rest of GAY, let alone the entirety of their fan base. But that didn't mean Lacey didn't want to write them. Sighing loudly, she laid her guitar next to her on the bed and threw herself back into her pillows. The brunette singer stared at the ceiling, a million thoughts racing through her head. She had been on that cruise ship for about a week, surrounding by a bunch of people she didn't know. It was anxiety-inducing to say the least.

A melodic tone rang from the side table to her bed, the alarm on her phone reminding her to start getting ready for the after party that night. Lacey scrunched her nose, but shut off the alarm nevertheless. At least she would be at the party with Z, Eli, and NYC. And there would be food and alcohol. So that would at least take some of the edge off. Lacey stood from the bed, organizing the papers into a somewhat neat pile before searching through her closet for an outfit. Lacey wouldn't classify herself as someone who cared a lot about her fashion sense and the way she looked. That being said, she did have her own sense of style. Deciding on combat boots, fish nets, denim shorts, a graphic tee, and a leather jacket, Lacey ran her fingers through her hair and was ready to go.

Walking down the ballroom was a bit of torture. A few people stopped to ask her for her autograph or a picture. Lacey smiled and thanked them as best as she could. But wanted to move on as quickly as possible. Shortly thereafter, she made it to Ballroom C and immediately walked straight towards the bar. If Lace was going to make it through the night without a panic attack every five minutes, she would need alcohol in her system. And one way to do that was to get a cocktail full of it. "A Long Island Ice Tea, please," Lacey said to the bartender, smiling shyly. Within a few moments, the drink was placed in front of her, and Lacey took a long drink from it before turning to glance around the rest of the room.

Zander let out a small groan as he stretched out his limbs after an intense cuddle session. At the end of his stretch he let out a happy sigh of relief as he rolled over and his arms found their way around the male beside him. He was able to peek at the phone on the nightstand as he placed a pecking kiss on the guitarist's cheek. “It's getting near that time to get ready for the 'official' party.” His voice was low and calm. The official after party was set up a week after their show, which stuck Z as odd but he also couldn't care since he's attended plenty of bars and parties on his own through the week. All because he knew he could seek refuge in Elijah's room and knew he would be taken care of in every way.

Last night Z had dragged the band to a few of the attractions available on the cruise. They started off the young night with a simple round of bowling and arcade playing. NYC had bested everyone by a landslide in bowling but the arcade games were split fairly evenly. Then everyone went their separate ways and Z brought Elijah to a late night hot tub hang out session. That eventually lead to where he was now, laying in Elijah's bed in his room. The two of them had spent the entirety of the day in that room partaking in various activities, including Elijah having to get up a few times to grab Z water and whatever they wanted.

Z nuzzled his head into Eli's neck. “I'd like to stay here and stick with what we've been doing today but I also love watching you get up and walk around.” A teasing tone resonated in his voice as he let go and sat up. “Or... a quickie before the party? A shower, of course.” A devilish grin made its way onto his face from his double entendre as he watched the other. “At this point we could be just on time or fashionably late by 10 minutes. What do you think?”

So far the cruise has proven to be plenty of fun. They've made use of all of the VIP experiences they could, attending shows and entertainment while getting a chance to meet fans in a casual setting. Z has also enjoyed show boating to the fans that he and Elijah were intimate. Something about it made him feel good inside. He assumed it was just the bragging and making them jealous and wouldn't admit anything otherwise. Getting a chance to do it again at the party will be wonderful. But first stop will be the bar, of course.

Ash had enjoyed and savored every minute of their set and of course he had never been prouder of both Sammie and Max, the two of them had done an amazing duet and the crowd had been so into it. He had been on a high after they had finished a bigger high than he had ever felt before. It had been their best performance by far and that was the best day for him. So, when they had exited the stage, he was ready to pull all his bandmates into a hug. That was when he heard Sammie mention some kind of after party. He had agreed to go though parties had never been his thing, but it was still about appearances after all, so he knew he had to agree.
When the day of the party arrived, Ash had been more than stressed about going. He had paced back in forth in the bathroom, but he had to make sure to keep his calm and almost uncaring composure together around the band. He cared he just always made sure it seemed like nothing bothered him, but this party was the one thing that caused him stress. Not like Sammie with crowds, he just never liked any kind of party. Birthday parties, holiday parties, any party at all just gave him anxiety and he was not any less stressed for this one.
He finally arrived to the party and there were so many people already in the room and he wished he had arrived with Sammie or Max, or Alma but he had thought going on his own was the best idea. Now he was awkwardly standing unsure of where to go or what to do. He wasn’t even sure who to mingle with so instead he just awkwardly made his way to the bar and ordered a drink. Maybe a drink would calm him down until either he talked with someone or one of his bandmates arrived.

Elijah let out a low protesting sound when the other let go of him. However those arms soon found their way back around his body. He pressed his body a bit more back into the others chest. He loved being held like this. He also liked holding the other. Their height difference wasn't that much, so they were capable to perfect exchange the roles of cuddling positions, and other positions, however they pleased. Just how they prefered. It made them such a perfect fit for things like this. "Ughh, after party," he mumbled. Though only because being with Z like this was way better alternative. He loved after parties. He loved the interaction that was possible with the fans and on this cruise also with the other bands. There were so pretty good other musicians out there. And hot ones as well. Even though so far he had not seen the need to make any moves further than some innocent flirting. Either Z was in his room or he stayed over at Z's...

The guitarist made a scoffing noise when he was teased. Their being together today had been rather... intense. And no matter how much he enjoyed it, his legs and back had paid quite the price. "I am never saying no to that if you are offering," he hummed when Z talked about a quick round. Of showering of course. He reached for his phone to check the time and when the party was again. Yeah, fashionable late it was gonna be. "I don't feel like hurrying," he said with a grin. He turned a bit so he could kiss the other. Passionated, deep and loving. Out of all his partners, Z was the only one that he truly kissed. It was just... weird to do it with others? Way too personal? He had no idea, but it was different. Probably because he had known Z for such a long time and they were very clear on where they stood and what this all meant. No strings attached. Just fun.

Elijah pushed himself up and made his way out of the bed. He wiggled his butt a bit playfully. He looked over his shoulder as he made his way to the shower. He held his hand out towards the other to ask him to quickly join him. The water was hot and steam filled the little bathroom as both males were sharing the shower in a rather intimate way. The shower wall was still very cold against his back as his legs were hooked around that perfect waist of the other. His nails not leaving that back untouched, though he made sure not to leave any marks. No deep ones at least. There was already a deep bruise on the keyboardist neck, thanks to his hickey skills.

"I doubt this still counts as a quicky," Elijah said with a very happy and cheerful tone. He looked at his own body. He too had some lovely bruises and bite marks and scratches on his torso, legs and neck. It filled him with some pride. Even though there once had been a rule to no marking. "And we are not fashionable late anymore. We are just late now," he said. All together they had spend a bit over 20 minutes in that shower and they still had to get dressed! He picked up a pair of Christmas underwear. He had not really been paying attention when packing. He smirked a bit and looked over towards Z, through the mirror. He fixed his wet hair, combing it all backwards like some rich smug guy look, before fucking it all up with his hand and letting the damp hair fall around however it pleased. "Any preferences on what else I will wear?" he asked towards Z, "feel free to pick out whatever you want. Just know that you will have to walk beside me and I will embarrass you more than you can ever embarass me."

Max had been shocked when Sammie missed her cue. It wasn’t something she’d ever done before, not during rehearsals and certainly not during shows. It made him realize that the situation with her old friend was affecting her much more than he had realized, and he made himself a mental note to try and do something about it. Talk to her old friend, get his side of the story, try to remedy the hard feelings between them, at least a little bit. Part of him thought he shouldn’t be sticking his nose into Sammie’s past, but he’d always been one to care more about what could help people than what was considered right or wrong. To the eyes of the audience, the missed cue went unnoticed, as like his bandmates, Max made sure to continue playing, adding in a few extra notes to hide the miscue.

The rest of the show after that went perfectly. The feeling of being on the stage, making music people liked with people he cared about and who cared about him was indescridable. The sound of the audience’s cheers carried him up into cloud nine, and by the time it was time for his duet with Sammie, his nervousness was forgotten. For the start of the duet, he stayed behind the keyboard, playing his part of the music, and then he’d set the keyboard to play the rest of the track, picked up his microphone, and joined Sammie center stage in time for the chorus. For the first time since joining the band, he moved around the stage, met the eyes of the people in the crowd, and displayed a voice he’d never known he had until Sammie had encouraged him to try it.

Afterwards, Max had celebrated with his bandmates just by hanging out with them and found himself quickly agreeing to attend the after party scheduled for a night a week later. The week passed by quickly once the first night on the ship was over, and before he knew it, he found himself standing in his room on the ship, looking in the mirror at his tousled blonde hair, light brown scruff, and pale green eyes. He was a little nervous about going to the party. He knew that his bandmates would be there, and he did want to talk to some of the other bands and hopefully make new friends, but he was only human, leaving him worried about how the other people would see him. It was a constant worry he had, because he knew he really wasn’t anything special. He was just some guy from a small town, who only had money and fans because of Sammie, Ash, and Alma. Max worried constantly that his luck was going to catch up to him.

Sighing, Max splashed some water in his face, dried off, and headed out of the bathroom, leaving the towel from him shower on the back of an armchair. He picked up his clothes from the bed, pulling them on and then glancing at the body mirror in the corner. He wasn’t wearing anything too flashy—that wasn’t really his style—and he’d thrown a dash of his Southern heritage into the outfit, so he was content with it. Running a hand through his tousled blonde hair, Max grabbed his wallet and phone, tucked them into his pockets, and left the room, heading to Ballroom C. It didn’t take him long to get there, and his nervousness hit him hard when he stepped inside, but he quickly threw on a smile as a few people looked his way. Glancing quickly around the room, he noticed Ash standing at the bar, and the female singer from the band that performed before them opening night only a few people down from him.

Max considered going over to them but decided against it. He didn’t plan on drinking, and he knew being as nervous as he was, if he went over to the bar even once tonight, he’d be knocking back a glass of straight whiskey for the liquid courage it would provide. He wasn’t a fan of alcohol, and he had his reasons for it. So, for his own piece of mind, he planned on staying away from the bar entirely. He’d talk to Ash later. For now, Max tucked his hands into the pockets of his jeans and stepped off to the side of the room to work up the courage to mingle.

Though drumming was fine love interest, partying was undoubtedly Noel's first love. To say he was excited to be able to drink and dance the night away would be an understatement. With a performance as great as their's was, he deserved this. NYC opted for a classic look, basic monocr=hrome t-shirt, slim fit jeans and a nice pair of sneakers to top it all off. He was going to jet to the bar, but mother dearest was there and he didn't want to get shitfaced just yet. Partily due to the fact that scum from Solasta was not too far away from her.

Yes NYC was willing to stay sober from a little while longer in order to watch over Lacey as she did for the rest of the band. Speak of the rest of the band, where on Earth was Zander and Elijah? ‘Probably canoodling.’ he thought. Which meant he'd have to man the fort until further notice.

Unfortunately, Noel was easily distracted, much like a loving dog, and his attention was caught by that member of Solasta that he had seen in the bar before the performance. ‘Do I dare?’ the blonde questioned internally, unconsciously inching towards the other male. ‘I do.’ he decided. Activating his boyish charms he put on a smile for Max and gave him a wave. “I don't think we had the chance to properly introduce ourselves. I'm Noel.” so much for guard duty.

Sam stared at herself in the full length mirror in her room, her hair damp from the shower she'd just gotten out of, a towel wrapped around her body. The past week on the cruise had been simply fantastic-- filled with more shows, adoring fans, and fun times. Everything she and the other members of Solasta needed! It was like a vacation, almost.

But still, she couldn't help but feel like something was missing. She hadn't thought about Elijah this much in years, and she knew it was because he was here, on this cruise too. She could see it in her eyes that he hated her, and she didn't fool herself into thinking that he'd ever feel differently. It was something she would just have to come to accept, as hard as it would be.

Frowning, she turned away from her reflection, getting dressed for the party. There had been a party seemingly every night since the first night, and though she was starting to feel a little anti-social, she didn't want to just hole up in her room. Besides, she knew she wouldn't get away with that. Someone would come looking for her, that was for sure. And a part of her enjoyed the parties. That was the point, right?

After slipping into a pair of black flats, she ran a brush through her hair and lightly touched it with the blow dryer that had come in the suite. She definitely didn't own one. After completing her signature smokey eye look, she left the suite and started for where she thought Ballroom C might be. It was the first party in that ballroom.

After getting lost-- twice-- she finally found the room. She spotted Max by the bar, though when she started in his direction, someone else popped up. She froze when she recognized NYC's face, her stomach doing a weird flip-flop. Perhaps she should find someone else. Slipping past the two, she popped up at the bar not far from where GAY's singer stood, though Sammie hadn't noticed her yet. Ash wasn't far, either, though with the crowd of people around she hadn't seen him, either.

"Can I have a doubleshot of Jack?" She asked the bartender, who nodded and slipped away, returning a moment later with her shot. She downed it and ordered another, though half turned to look at the rest of the room while she waited this time.

Lacey sipped the Long Island Ice Tea, the alcohol content making her nose crinkle up from the burn. She had wanted it to be strong, she was used to drinking straight alcohol without a problem. But something about the mix of so much alcohol and sugary soda did not taste all that great to her. Nevertheless, Lacey ordered the drink and she had too much social anxiety to send it back. So she decided she would finish it. The room had begun to fill with what the cruise deems as the "VIPs," but Lacey didn't really know many of them, if any. Her boys had yet to show up, a few members from Solasta were there though, one near the bar and one off to the side of the room. At least they were somewhat familiar faces, maybe talking to them would decrease her anxiety a bit until the alcohol could kick in.

Lacey weighed her options, glancing between both men. The one near the bar she remembered being the guitarist for Solasta while the other was the keyboardist. From what she had seen and heard, both were extremely talented and would be interesting to talk to. Honestly, Lacey would rather stay away from strangers entirely. But Z, NYC, and Eli were what she could only assume they would call "fashionably late." So she would have to make due until they showed up. Deciding she would rather not push through a crowd of drunk and sweaty moving bodies, Lace decided on the guitarist that stood on the bar not too far from her. She took one large gulp of her drink and took the glass down the bar to where he stood.

"Hi," Lacey said, moving into the space along the bar alongside him. She sat her drink on the bar top, hoping the colorful light show in the club would hide her blush from feeling so awkward. He was good-looking, and it wasn't really like her to talk to new people often. But the alcohol had done its liquid courage job, at least to a certain extent, and she decided to move on with the conversation. "I'm Lacey...Um, from G.A.Y.? You're the guitarist from Solasta, right? I heard a little bit of your set after we got off stage, and I really like your sound. How long have you been playing guitar?"

It seemed like he wasn't the only one upset with having to stop the day's plans and that made his chest feel warm. Yet the scoff that came from the other was cause for alarm. With the lingering worry building it was quickly quieted with the acceptance of the offer to shower and Z smiled gently again. Truth be told with other people Z would have been done with the escapade hours ago but with Elijah for some reason he felt like he would never run out of energy. Even with the increasing intensity of their time together there is something about Elijah that keeps pulling Z back.

When Elijah turned to plant that deep, wistful kiss on Z's lips he leaned into it and held on for every second he could. Even brushing his fingers through the luscious locks of the other male in the few moments he had. It was a comfort and happiness he has started to look forward to. The serenity and connection they shared in the kisses were something that knew was unique with Elijah. Just as Z was ready to pull the other back into bed, Elijah got up and Z immediately took in the immaculate perfect body before him while biting his lip. He wasn't going to get tired of any part of that man ever and he knew it. The butt wiggle caused Z to jump out of the bed and follow the other to the shower where the two continued their intimate antics with speed and force yet savoring every movement. Z admittedly enjoyed the multitude of marks left on his body but couldn't help be concerned about getting carried away. Mostly because they were once careful about not leaving marks but that rule is long forgotten at this point. They both enjoyed the non-verbal bragging that came with them. He also didn't want to be a hypocrite though since he had marked the other up as well., being most proud of the ones he left on Elijah's inner thighs. Thinking about how the other would have to try to hide the small discomfort in front of everyone brought a devilish grin to Z's face.

Between growls and pants his ears perked up at the guitarist's perky voice and he shrugged. “Well time does fly when you're having fun.” He grinned as he stepped out of the shower and followed the other as he dried off with his towel. “It was worth it. But we shouldn't make the others wait too much longer.” Elijah was picking up something as Z went over to the dresser and grabbed his phone off the charger and turned to Elijah as he was messing with his hair and finally seeing the Christmas underwear. His eyes widened as he joked and chuckled. “Festive for sure. You'll be my present that morning, right?” Z gestured toward the underwear before putting a finger to his chin as he thought about what to say until the latter part of the question came out. He pouted. “Unfair. I had such a great idea for a moment.” He sat on the edge of the bed in his towel, leaning back as he looked at the closet.

Looking at the multitude of options, various images filled Z's mind. “Give me a second. I'd like to see you in...Never mind. I'll just pick.” He wanted to ask Elijah to try things on but they were late and didn't have the time. It took a few minutes of pondering but he finally made his decision. “The black boots with heels, those sexy tight black pants that hug you in the right places, you know what I mean. And...well my vote goes for the purple and black crop top you keep avoiding to wear for me. I'll be beside you anyway in case you feel embarrassed.” For whatever reason Elijah kept saying it wasn't the time to wear the top but Z was determined to see him in it. With a small sigh he reached for the drawer with his pants in it and pulled out his jeans then used his foot to bring the boxers on the floor to him. He did the pants dance to pull his boxers and jeans on and waited for the other to get dressed. “Which shirt do you want me to wear? Maybe one that can hide this?” He pointed to the hickey on his neck with a grin. Once Elijah got dressed and picked out his shirt, Z would throw it on and fix his hair in the mirror with a quick head shake and run through then pick his things up and stick them into his pockets before opening the door to head out.

Elijah's capabilities in heels were impressive and the whole way to the ballroom Z tried to snap a picture of the two of them walking in the hallway. “It's our first cruise gig! We need memories!” Plus, like always, they looked pretty dang good and he wanted to commemorate it. Eli would probably know that at least.

Upon finally getting to the ballroom and making it through the front door, they were immediately greeted by the sea of VIP fans clapping at their arrival. Of course the boys had to be nice and they'd handle the fans differently but Z didn't want to delay anymore. “Alright. Alright. Guys we're here to party too. We'll see you on the dance floor!” He grabbed Elijah and pulled him to the bar. Apparently there were plenty of familiar faces around but that wouldn't stop them from having a good time. Z lifted his finger to the bartender to call him over. “Rum and coke for me, premium, and a water please.” The water being for Elijah since he didn't drink.

"I will make sure to have a bow around it..." Elijah grinned. It was not like he had any other place to spend the holidays. Well at 'home' of course. But the place where his family lived had stopped being his home a long time again. He wasn't even sure when he spoke to his dad the last time, and he didn't feel like changing that in any way. He was sure the male was following the antics of his loser, whimpy child that was slowly growing to more fame and money that his other brothers. The oldest of them had already died by a mortar or something. He had not been welcome on the funeral... "You mean those leather ones?" he smirked softly as he pulled them out of the closet. He held them in front of his legs and showed them like that. The sparkling of Z's eyes telling him those were the ones indeed. Guess he'd have to take of his festive boxers again... Though that would be a little surprise for Z later on...

"Z... seriously?" Elijah said with a soft pout when that croptop was brought up. Though he had said he'd wore anything, so he would comply and pulled the thing out of the closet, not yet letting Z see it further. He carried it over towards the bathroom as he looked over his shoulder when Z asked him to pick out a shirt that would cover up the already purple hickey in his neck. Perhaps he had been a bit overly enthusiastic. He smirked as he went over towards the drawer next to the bed. "I don't know about a shirt, but you could always were this," he said. He handed Z a choker that was more like a dog's collar with the rings and everything attached to it. "Or one of our GAY-merch shirts? It's up to you," he said with a shrug. He kissed his cheek quickly as he lowered his voice a bit. "I think showing it to the world would be really hot too. And if would fit with my top..." He tugged playfully on his ear again, before he disappeared back into the bathroom, before they would lose any more time.

So not much later his heels were clicking as they walked through the hallways in search for the ballroom they had to be. Ballroom C. They could have been a bit more original with the names of the rooms, but he guessed this worked as well. He laughed as Z tried to snap a picture of them while walking. He grabbed his hand and gave him a kiss on the cheek while lifting one of his legs into the air. Such a cliché girlfriend pose. It was all just fun... Nothing serious. Allong the way they were of course stopped for questions, autographs and pictures. Something neither of them minded, which was probably the reason they always seemed to pull most attention. NYC was still too young to the bed and most of their fans knew Lacey didn't like being in the spotlight. So both seperately they pulled a lot of attention and now together... sometimes that brought out even more craze. He laughed at Z who was slowly telling them all they had their night off and to give them some space. "This is not the last day yet, so everyone will have their chance for some time with us. I promise," Elijah said, "but tonight... we can use some us-time." Though being famous, that didn't mean people would not try. But they were warned now that there would be no reaction.

Elijah looked a bit around the room, while Z had already walked off to the bar. He had to quicken his step a bit to keep up with him, though even then the heels provided no problem. Tomorrow there would probably be a lot of mentions of him and how girls were jealous of him. And not only for being able to walk and dance flawlessly on those heels. "Ice Tea Green instead of water!" he called after the bartender while leaning a bit more forward over the bar. Which made him notice their singer a bit down the bar, going up to... one of the Solastas members. On her own. He smiled softly, encouraging even though the singer was with her back towards him. Should he say something? No... she didn't look like she needed saving yet. "You are amazing!" he said when the bartender returned with the Rum and Coke and his Ice Tea Green. He grabbed both glasses, handing the Rum and Coke to Z. "Let's dance, daddy," he spoke playfully with a wink. He was gonna own up to that shirt. Bonus points if it made Z either flustered, horny or both. He turned around and noticed NYC go up to that Southern charm. "Oh my, NYC is making a move on the Southerner," he said with a headnod towards their drummer. His own motif to actually make a move on that keyboardist completely forgotten as he had been too busy with his own. Perhaps tomorrow they should take some distance again. This was getting a bit too much, right? "Let's ask them to join us!" He wasn't really waiting for an answer as he was already on his way to Noel.

The brunette snaked his arm around Noels waist as he gently kissed his cheek. They were not too unfamiliar with close body contact either. Though it would never be the same as with Z. "Having fun?" he grinned at the male. He didn't linger too long though, as he didn't want to give the wrong impression or fuck up his chances with the man. NYC deserved that, so he let go off him again as he held his hand out towards the keyboardist. "Elijah, though you probably heard a lot about me already," he introduced himself. And with that he didn't mean the things they wrote in tabloids and magazines. "None of it is true though, except for the pinguin story. Perhaps," he chuckled. With that he was refering to a story that once had started about him having stolen a pinguin from the zoo, which was not true. He was officially the proud owner of said pinguin and had been allowed to take him for a Christmas photoshoot! But well, the stolen story was way more fun and they had made that their Christmas special. Jeez, he really was in a festive mood today. "Anyway, you wanna join us on the dancefloor?" he asked, knowing that Z was a big boy who could introduce himself.

Max had never really been the center of attention type. Even back in high school, whenever his friends would drag him out to a field party or a backyard bonfire, he would sit at the campfire roasting marshmallows, or off to the side, leaning against a tree and watching the stars. Since joining the band and becoming a name people knew and a face people recognized, he’d had to learn how to be a little more social than usual. He’d had to get a little more comfortable with being in the spotlight, and he didn’t feel nearly as out of place standing here tonight as he had at parties before, but he still sometimes missed the peace his small town, country life had provided him.

As he stood there, a couple of the fans who’d paid for the VIP passes that got them into these parties, where the bands would be available to meet and talk to personally, came up to him. He greeted them with his usual bright Southern smile, and signed autographs when they asked him to. One girl who came up to him all by herself had asked him to take a picture with her. When she told him that he was one of her idols because he held on to his pre-fame life, he’d heartily agreed, and posed with his arm around her shoulder. He’d sent her off with a smile, then glanced around the room—just in time to notice one of the members from GAY inching his way over. Max acted like he hadn’t noticed, waiting until the guy was standing next to him before he looked at him.

While the guy was introducing himself, Max took a moment to take a closer look than the brief glimpses he’d had the first day of the cruise. He, no doubt just like his friends, was even hotter up close. He was about the same height as Max was, maybe like half an inch shorter if anything, and thought slightly boyish, his features were what Max could only describe as striking, in a good way. What struck Max most about him, however, was his eyes. He had these incredibly blue eyes that made Max a little self-conscious about his pale green irises.

“It’s nice to meet you, Noel,” Max said genuinely, returning the drummer’s boyish smile with his trademark Southern grin. “My name’s Max. I’m the keyboardist from Solasta.” Glancing away from Noel, Max noticed Sammie enter the room. He was about to wave when she looked his way, but before he could, her eyes flicked to Noel, widened, and then she hurried away to the bar. Max’s eyes followed her to the bar, and when he noticed the singer from GAY sitting on a stool beside Ash, he smiled. Good. He knew Ash wasn’t a huge fan of the parties, just like he wasn’t, so it would be good for him to have someone to talk to.

He had just turned his gaze back to Noel when a group of the fans rushed over to the door into the ballroom to greet the last two members of GAY. Max’s heart jumped in his throat at the sight of them. The shorter one, who’d sung alongside the female lead during their show a week ago, was dressed in an outfit that Max wouldn’t be caught dead in, and he was rocking it. The fact that he could walk in heels was impressive, and to have the self-confidence to dress like that and own it like he was reminded Max how completely out of his element he still was in his new life. The keyboardist from their band was right beside him, and while dressed much more simply, was still owning the fact that he was completely gorgeous.

When the two shooed the fans away and headed to the bar, Max looked back at NYC with a smile, trying to think of something to say that wouldn’t make him sound completely ridiculous. He didn’t want to make a fool of himself by making awkward small talk, but he couldn’t think of anything else to ask about. Thankfully, he didn’t have to worry about for much longer, as only a few moments later, the other two male members of Noel’s band joined them off to the side of the room, completely taking Max’s attention away from his thoughts. Max’s eyes followed his movements as the shorter male wound his arm around Noel’s waste and casually kissed his cheek. He’d noticed by watching the four of them together that they were a very physically affectionate friend group, which was something Max wasn’t used to and was not sure how to react to.

Max’s discomfort faded when the man released Noel’s waist and held a hand out to him. He looked down into the much shorter male’s brown eyes with a smile, giving his hand a firm, lingering shake. So his name was Elijah; the name fit him, Max decided. Releasing his hand, Max looked up at the second guy with the same warm smile, tucking one hand back into his jeans pocket. When Elijah mentioned that the things said about him in tabloids weren’t true, Max laughed. He liked these guys. They were friendly, and they were down-to-earth compared to most people he’d met since joining Solasta.

“It’s nice to finally meet you guys,” Max said. “I really enjoyed your show the first night. Your set was awesome; you guys had the crowd going crazy.” Pausing, Max tucked his other hand back into his jeans pocket, then continued. “My name’s Max Reno. I’m the keyboardist from Solasta. I’m pretty new to the band, so I don’t you guys have heard much about me.” When Elijah asked if he wanted to join them on the dance floor, Max paused. He wasn’t actually the most confident in his dancing skills, but he was on a cruise ship in the middle of the ocean as a VIP passenger. He had to live a little, and be a little bold, for once.

Grinning, Max said, “I would love to.”

Ash had been sitting quietly at the bar just watching the crowd, watching other converse with one another and it was sight he never thought he would’ve seen, a room filled with such highly recognized people and he was one of them. It was like a dream for him and he still couldn’t believe it was happening but, in his life, he had never imagined being part of a well-known band. He had never thought he would meet other famous musicians. He had been lost in his thoughts when he heard a smaller voice say hi to him, he looked over and the singer from G.A.Y. was right next to him. He gave the girl a small grin and set his drink down then turned his attention towards her. His mother had always taught him to give the proper attention to everyone.

He could sense she was nervous and didn’t pressure her to say anything faster than her own speed, “Nice to meet you, Lacey. It’s a lovely name. I’m Ash.” He was shocked to hear a compliment from a rival band, but it caused him to feel a little shy for himself though he wouldn’t let himself be shy around her. He just needed to stay relaxed, and he took a deep breath, “Thank you, you did an amazing job as well on stage. You have a fantastic voice and great stage presence. I’ve been playing guitar for quite a while now. I think I’ve lost count of the years.” He couldn’t help but let out a small chuckle. He really had forgotten how long he’d been playing the guitar, but it had become part of who he was. He took another sip of his drink, “What made you want to become a lead singer? It’s amazing work and I’m amazed by those who do it. I could never do what you do.” Lacey was a beautiful girl but he didn’t want her to think he was dick so he was doing his best to keep his compliments subtle until he could better understand if she wanted to flirt or just get to know him. Either option he was happy with, he loved getting to talk with others who had talent and loved music.

Almost immediately, Lacey felt as though she had interrupted something. He had seemed lost in though glancing out across the room. Maybe he was waiting for the rest of his band and she had interrupted? Maybe Solasta as a whole thought of the members of GAY as the enemy and he wouldn't want to talk to her? Maybe he was waiting on a date and it would be super awkward if he was found talking to her when she showed up? She certainly didn't want to ruin any quiet moments, friendships, or relationships with her presence.

Lacey shifted her weight nervously, thankful she had decided to where the crimson red combat boots instead of heels that night. She was about to stutter her way through an apology for interrupting his night when the man turned towards her, both physically and in attention. That wasn't something people did if they didn't want to talk to someone, right?

Ash was polite, appearing to be the calm, cool, and collected type that Lacey wished deep down she could be. Instead, she was usually an anxious, nervous mess hidden under a carefully crafted if somewhat ineffective emotionless facade. When the guitarist began to compliment her, Lacey couldn't help but look away, suddenly more uncomfortable than she had been before. Sure, Lacey was the lead singer of her band. But that didn't mean she was the face or the leader of it. Elijah seemed to have that role, and Lace was perfectly fine with that. The spotlight was a place she avoided, and compliments were something she never got used to.

"Uh, thanks," she stuttered, taking a large drink from the Long Island Iced Tea. "I guess I started singing to cope with life. It was healthier than the other things I tried," she said softly, careful not to give too much about her past away. Taking another sip of liquid courage, Lacey offered Ash a small smile and answered, "Well I could say the same for you. I play a bit of guitar, but nothing like what I heard you do. How did you meet the rest of Solasta?"

It didn't take long before Sammie was a few shots in, and yet she was still alone, save for the fans who'd come up to take a picture, or get her autograph, or just say hi. It was nice actually, being able to interact with her fans and not get mauled. Security on the ship and in the ballroom was tight, and they were obviously not willing to take any shit. The first person who acted out of line beyond drunken shenanigans was getting thrown out. Or at least, that's the vibe Sam got. She liked it.

After her fourth shot of Jack, she turned to study the room again. She was surprised, actually, to find both other members of her band interacting with members from GAY. Ash seemed to actually be flirting with the pretty singer, and Sammie watched them for a moment, a grin toying at her lips. He deserved to find someone good, and truthfully, she tried to remind herself that she didn't know anything about the singer to judge her other than she had a killer voice.

Turning her head, she spotted Max, talking to not one but three members of GAY. Well there were both bands in their entirety. They seemed to be headed for the dance floor, though, so talking to them was out of the question. Frowning slightly, she studied her ex best friend for a few seconds. He looked fantastic, and he deserved this, too.

Ordering a mixed drink from the bartender this time, she waited for it and then headed past the dance floor, out to the balcony. It was quieter out here, and it gave her some time to think. She sipped at her drink, leaning against the bars on the balcony, staring down at the water below. It was a little chilly out with the ocean breeze, but she didn't mind it much.

Ash enjoyed the company of Lacey she was quiet; she didn’t make him feel uncomfortable in fact she was a pleasant person to be around. She was a bit shy, but he was too, but he didn’t feel like he had to force a conversation out of her. He could tell she wasn’t used to getting compliments and he wondered if that had been something she had never received until she became part of G.A.Y or if she had always been that way. She was different than the other girls he had spoken with before. Most of them would talk nonstop about themselves and flirt relentlessly, Lacey hadn’t done any of that and he was grateful. He wanted to have conversations and not always be flirted with or at least not in an aggressive manner. It got exhausting for him when most girls never cared about him or his interests, they all just liked that he was with a big-name band. Lacey was already in one, so she didn’t care about the fact that he was in a band, maybe that he was a rival band. He was concerned for the girl when she said she had tried coping other ways. He didn’t let it show on his face and took another drink.

He shrugged at her compliment, “I’ve been playing guitar since I was little, so I’ve gained experience just playing for fun and in talent shows as a kid. As for Solasta I actually met Sammie in one of my classes at college. I was only going for a couple years for a simple degree but her and I hit it off and then the other two Sammie found. They joined and the rest is history for all of us. It’s been fun. How did you meet your bandmates? They seem like a fun time to be around.” He gave her a smile before taking another sip of his drink.

Zander "Z" Rosewood

Location: Elijah's Room -> Ballroom Bar -> Ballroom Dance Floor
Mood: Happy -> Fighting Natural Urges -> Party Mode
Interactions: Elijah DarkiusHeavenstein DarkiusHeavenstein Max Tori Bradley Tori Bradley
Outfit: Club Attire with undershirt

Zander was hoping for a simple shirt that would cover up the deep purple hickey on his neck but Elijah provided no feedback other than a choker. Z wasn't opposed to it since he had worn similar things before but he wasn't sure if it would really cover up the hickey or draw more attention to his neck. His shoulders shrunk as he took the choker from Elijah as his brain was mentally scanning through the limited wardrobe trying to figure out what to wear with it. An excited shiver accompanied by an embarrassed grin appeared on his face from the comfort of being given the choice to forego the choker and use the hickey as bragging rights. It was tempting but he didn't know how to say no. The tug of his ear caused his lower body to tremble as the guitarist walked away.

Z sighed as he got up and hung the choker on his shoulder so he could quickly search through his clothes. He mumbled to himself as he went through the options. “No...no...not now... definitely another night...come on...” His eyes swept through everything until he landed on an outfit he had packed for a special night and he smiled victoriously. “Finally. Nice.” With a quick movement he changed again into the club outfit with a tank top underneath to give it a pop of color and the choker. Would he really be a part of GAY otherwise? The deep royal purple hickey was peeking out of the choker and Z decided to take Elijah's lustful recommendation and would flaunt the hickey to the world, taking it off and folding the collar of his shirt to let it see the light of day, or in this case the night club.

The club was amazing and once Z and Elijah had made it through the initial frenzy and got to order their drinks Z tried to take a moment to look around but the sea of people was moving so quickly he only caught a glimpse of some familiar faces from the night of the show. Elijah caught his attention by giving him his drink and freely calling him daddy right when he was going to take a sip. Z choked on his sip for a moment and tried immediately tried to hide his blush by taking the sip of his drink and rubbing his neck with his other hand. Regrettably he will not be able to hide his natural reactions if he becomes less sober. He has to try to be strong but he knows he'll end up losing that test of his will. Z had to turn his attention to NYC and the attractive southern male they had seen earlier in the week when Elijah brought them up and hastily made his way toward the two. Z quickly swallowed the sip of his drink and chased after Elijah. “Wait up!”

By the time Z got there Elijah had already made his way around NYC and the handsome stranger. Hopefully the intimacy between the bandmates' didn't ruin NYC's chances at getting lucky tonight. Z simply rubbed NYC's arm and gave him a quick side cuddle before reaching his arm around Elijah and leaning on him slightly. “Looks like they are.” Z followed up. Before Elijah asked for them all to dance, Z took the opportunity to introduce himself to mister southern charm with a wave of his hand with his glass in it. “I'm Zander Rosewood. Z for short. Daddy to lucky individuals.” He winked then feigned a humble head nod and shrug as he chuckled. “It's a pleasure Max. You really rocked hardcore at the show the other night too! It seems like I have some competition for best finger skills.” Maybe we can put that to the test. He finished mentally. It was too soon for him to say that out loud, no matter how badly he wanted to. The time to dance had come once Max accepted the invitation. “No time to waste then!” Z spun around Elijah and reached down to grab his hand to lead him to the dance floor. Elijah would undoubtedly be able to grab hold of Max to make sure they wouldn't get separated. NYC has always been a professional at navigating any club setting so Z wasn't concerned about him catching up.

Once they made it to the dance floor Zander held his glass up high as he moved his feet and hips to the rhythm of the upbeat music. It was finally the beginning of party time and he would need another drink. With a large gulp he finished his first drink and ordered another from a passing server. “You guys want anything? More tea? A round of shots?” His eyes flickered their devilish glow as he raised his eyebrow at the boys with his suggestion. It would help loosen them all up and Z wasn't exactly known for his self control. He was ready to have a wonderful time with a group of incredibly hot guys.

Elijah had noticed the way the Southern Beauty seemed to be slight uncomfortable by how close he was with Noel. He didn't mind taking some distance, since he was aware that the drummer wasn't too much of a fan of it either. Not out in the open and like this at least. Behind closed doors... well things could go a bit further than a kiss on the cheek. It was a firm handshake that this male gave him, while introducing himself with that beautiful southern drawl to his tone. "I don't really listen much to Solasta," he said. Only if they were on the radio and he could not change stations or something like that. "But you sounded great last week," he said. He had to admit he had enjoyed their show and he would have enjoyed it a lot more if she had not been singing and on that stage, but alas, that was not his call to make.

"Z!" Elijah scolded him gently when he spoke of that little bedroom nickname. Though it was probably obvious from the top he was wearing, that he was one of the lucky individuals. One of them? Or the only one? Not that it matter. Z was allowed to sleep with whoever he wanted and make them call him however they wanted. They were not at all exclusive. Neither of them would be able to be loyal for long. Or at least... It would just become bored and it would be awkward. He didn't want to bring that to the band. Things were perfect the way they were and things worked out fine, so why change it? He shook his head as he noticed that sparkle in those blue eyes, a naughty sparkle.

The guitaris laughed as Z spun around him and tugged him along. He looked over his shoulder to make sure that the other males came along as well, since he had once again noticed that slight hesitation. Well, who could blame the guy? He was still new to this world and Sammie had probably told a story or two about him. Or not. He had noticed her slipping out of the room, perhaps she had not talked about him at all. Just like he had not told his band about her either, not even now that he was so directly confronted with the backstabbing-.... His train of thought was luckily broken when Z called for drinks and shots. He quickly finished his ice tea. "You guys can do shots if you like," he said, "I will have another one of these." He moved the glass a bit, before putting it away on the plate of a passing server. Normally he could use the excuse of being the designated driver for his non-alcohol wishes, but tonight that would not go up. Not that any one really cared.

Elijah concentated back on the 'stranger' in their midst. "Come on, show us some of those southern moves," he chuckled as encouragment. He didn't believe himself to be a good dancer, but he had no trouble keeping up to the beat of the music. He was however far better at slow dancing, or close dancing. Something that he was definitely gonna do with Z later on. Yet right now he wanted to focus his attention a bit more on Max. For it would be unfair to ask him along to the dancefloor and then just ignore him. "You probably hear this a lot, your accent is very hot," he grinned and added a sly wink to it. He glanced a bit up to Z, perhaps they could make a Max sandwich? After they had taken their shots, of course.
