A few ground rules before we get started:
- This is an advanced RP, so 3+ paragraphs per post, please! English does not have to be your first language, but please use correct grammar and spellings if you can. If I feel that not enough overall effort was put into the character sheet, I reserve the right to reject it, but I will first make suggestions.
- Please keep in mind that this RP takes place in 1927 St. Louis, so please try to keep the setting an accurate reflection of the time period!
- Please post on the RP thread at least once every two weeks. Don't make me have to hunt you down for a reply. Three infractions of this rule will result in dismissal from the RP, though penalties will not apply to other RPers who are held up waiting for the offender’s reply.
- Realistic faceclaims only for all characters! No anime or drawings, please.
- Please note that this is a gritty RP about bad guys doing bad stuff for no good reason. As such violence, substance use, language, and (limited) sexuality will absolutely occur in abundance. So please, y'all, brace yourselves.
- I know the CS is long, so feel free to stick your WIPs here until you can get around to completing them! However, reservations will be upheld for only 72 hours, by which time the entire form should be complete.
- I trust that you know your limits better than I do, so feel free to make as many characters as you'd like! However, please note that the two-week posting minimum applies to each of them.
- Only one Leader/Subordinate per RPer!
- Please make your Devils a minimum of 18 years old! No kiddies out here spilling blood for the blood god.

Appearance: Lemuel, underneath his mask, is a stocky man of average height, and looks altogether ordinary, with little to no distinguishing features. His hair is a dark golden brown, slightly scruffy, and grows ever-so-slightly past his neck. His short beard is the same color, but neater than his hair, at least. His dark brown eyes look tired, despite being round, and they are close-set. His round beige face has a small mole on his left cheek, and there always seems to be dirt under his nails, no matter what he does.
Wardrobe: Lemuel wears a brown flat cap, a button-down shirt, and a cardigan sweater over it. His pants are baggy, and seem too short, but only because he cut it so that his pants went to his knees. Notably, this was the first sin he committed.
Scent: He smells like sweat and cigarette smoke

Personality: Lemuel seems like the type of person to be pushed around and bullied because of his awkward appearance. In fact, many have made the mistake due to his everyman appearance. However, Lemuel is a very pragmatic sort of individual, not afraid to cross lines to achieve his goal. However, if there is a line that Lemuel will not cross, be assured that he will not cross it. He has a quick mind, and it often works faster than his mouth, meaning that he sucks at making split-second decisions. On the other hand, though, he's never stuck in a mindset because he thinks so much, either. Lemuel, while putting on a polite manner, is known for getting hard to know and keeping his business to himself. He is the type of person to get to know you so that you give him your personal information. In spite of this, he has a slight fun-loving side to him, one awakened by the cult. He is a tinkerer and enjoys using his hands and keeping them busy. He enjoys being given something to do, or he'll get lost in his own thoughts, or just screw around with something. Surprisingly, in spite of being a logical person, Lemuel enjoys uncertain outcomes as they allow them to think, and they feel novel every single time.

Family: The Cult, his parents (Elizabeth and Josiah) and his sister(Mary)

Backstory: Lemuel thinks for a moment, but he remembers a lot of things:
1) He was the fourth member of a nuclear family: the parents, the sister, and the brother(him). Oh sure, people might've thought that he was born into great circumstances, with respectable parents, but did it really matter? In fact, he laughs at how ironic his name continues to be. A person who is devoted to a god is devoted to a community, and he isn't devoted to his little community anymore. He went to school, sure, but would read ahead, understand the stuff, and then skip. The teachers were always confounded when he got good grades, in spite of almost never being there.
2)He gained the respect of the troublemakers, the ones whom everyone else avoided like the plague. It wasn't him just going up and asking them, as that would've been stupid. He studied the gang to determine who was the ring leader and then studied the ringleader. Most gangs abandoned him after a few months, but one gang grew attached to the nerd. He could often be seen smoking with them, but not drinking. They committed the crime, but his job was to help with the logistics of the crimes they pulled, mostly.
3)He knew when he and his gang got caught, by the police, including one on the cult's payroll. They were 19 years old then and were put on trial. Most of the gang members stuck to the same story, but Lamuel had no regrets doing what he did, in spite of posing as an upstanding member of society. Maybe the cop recognized this trait that made him prime cult material.
4)The year after, Lemuel was now a full member of the cult, and he left his old life behind. Not that he didn't mind, as he was content for once. He'd found a place where he didn't have to be afraid of society. He didn't want to leave, and wanted to remain a secondary because he grew into that role.

I will change it, and yeah, she has no ideas. In fact, she'd freak out, as her family is of the old traditions, old money kind of thing. She's nicer than her parents, as they think he's kind of ugly(so that's not saying much).
