In Fairmina, everyone's fate is dictated from birth, mapped by long-ago stories. One is meant to inherit their fairy tale parent's role, with no option for self-determination. However, a new ordinate has been declared, allowing people to have an option. Well, somewhat of an option. By attending Semper Preparatory School, a student has the opportunity to choose their own role. If the daughter of the Evil Queen would rather be the eventual Snow White of Fairmina, she has every opportunity to accomplish this goal by attending Semper. However, there is a catch. The only way one person can change their fate to another's is by assassinating them. Therefore, it's no surprise that half of Semper Prep's classes center around the various methods of killing.
At the end of the year, there's a culling. It's almost a Purge, of some sorts. A passing grade means when the final period ends, one has successfully killed their desired role inheritor, which they declared when they entered the school.
- Gender-bending is 100% supported
- When one person kills off the person in their desired role, someone has to inherit their old one. This is why alliances and groups are formed amongst the students.
- A person can relinquish their role, opting to pass it down to someone else. This is commonly used to forge alliances.
Ever-After High: Ever After High is a boarding school located in the Fairy Tale World. It is attended by the teenage children of fairy tale characters. The main characters are Raven Queen, who does not want to be evil like her mother the Evil Queen, and Apple White, the daughter of Snow White who wishes to live "happily ever after". Raven prefers to be free to create her own destiny, while Apple, in order to protect her and others own destiny, believes that Raven should become the next Evil Queen. The students are generally divided between two groups. The "Royals" are the students who side with Apple in embracing their destinies and following in their parents' footsteps. The "Rebels" are the students who side with Raven in wanting to create their own destinies. Many of the stories are about the students' regular interactions as teens, but there is an underlying story arc where, according to the school's headmaster, if the students do not follow their individual destinies, their stories will cease to exist and they will disappear[1] forever.
Deadly Class: Set in a dark, heightened world against the backdrop of late '80s counterculture, Deadly Class follows a homeless, disillusioned teen recruited into King's Dominion, a storied elite private school where the world's top crime families send their next generations. Maintaining his moral code while surviving a ruthless curriculum, vicious social cliques and his own adolescent uncertainties soon proves to be vital.[2]

02. Discord IS a must! There will be social media interactions, lots of planning, etc. It's just easier to use it over RPN.
03. Roles will be given out on a first-come-first-serve basis. I've offered some ideas in the third tab. However, any and all fairy tales / myths are accepted!
04. This is a mildly supernatural roleplay. People can have powers, though I ask you to consider if your character makes sense to have powers. I would argue someone like Snow White's child would have the ability to speak to animals, though perhaps nothing else. The child of the Evil Queen, however, would totally have magical powers of some sort.
05. On that note! Don't forget- all characters are the teen children of the current storybook characters.

Premise
