I wanted to start off by saying Welcome to our newcomers! I apologize for not keeping up with the TLDR, but with the roleplay being open and accepting again, I'll do my due diligence on staying on top of it moving forward.

Current Setting
We find our characters enjoying the spoils of the long awaited Blood Moon Ball. It's exquisite décor and extravagant entertainment have culled the aristocracy of all species. Adorning themselves in illustrious gowns whilst shielding their identities with that of unique masks in theme of the masquerade. The interactions of all seemingly cheerful and genuine, but if one were to listen closely - there's alliances forming or tensions building, and even lighthearted formalities shared between acquaintances.

Deo Volente
🞄 Lieutenant Thomas Barrett: Having lead a infiltration into Club Lazarus, it quickly turned into a disastrous squabble when he came face to face with two renowned, and powerful vampires - Sabine deLorme' and Dante Wolfbane. Engaging in a ruthless battle with Dante on the rooftop, decimating portions of the club. He was dealt a crippling wound, as Dante mercilessly tearing Thomas' arm off and disposing of him over the rooftop's ledge. Fighting the fine line of life and death, he was found and mended by an unlikely rescuer. Albeit a torturous procedure, his life was spared the cold embrace of death by the careful hands of Thaumus. After a long rest, Thomas headed out into the night in search of The Regency. Upon arrival, he's greeted with familiarity, a fellow witch, Cordelia. They happily reignite their friendship and make way to the bar, conversing over some drinks whilst engaging with others.
🞄 Richter Kenway: Introducing himself into the mix at the Blood Moon Ball, he perched himself at the bar, surveying and studying those arriving. Despite the copious amounts of alcoholic beverages, he chooses to remain sober and enjoys water as his preferred refreshment. Banter is ensued between him, Jacques, Dani and Edward. The discussion is lead to appraising one another's weaponry.
🞄 Captain Octavia Moretti: Choosing to remain nestled betwixt the cozy confines of her female companions, safely tucked in the high tower of the Hawthorn Hotel. Her pleasures interrupted with news of a potential new and powerful threat entering the city of Saint Haddock. Having been informed of this predator, she immediately alerts those of her unit through the form of an encrypted app on their personal devices.
Werewolves
🞄 Riaan Joseph: Returned home after a bountiful hunt, to his small cabin tucked in the woods. Carefully unloading his prized kills only to discovered the mysterious envelope withholding the invitation to the Blood Moon Ball. Unbeknownst to him, their pack leader had been murdered in cold blood just hours before. Gathering his attire, he picked up a fellow pack member, Dani and made way towards the The Regency. There, he took immediate interest in the group of mingling nightwalkers, proposing a verbal truce among the supernaturals.
🞄 Dani Leiber: Fancied herself a few drinks and a game of liar's dice in the secluded Lucky Dave's Dive bar. Discussing the recent homicide with a comrade, Edward. Knowing well enough the pack was in danger of possibly being accused of the said homicide. But the concerns were drowned at the bottom of a beer can as she hitched a ride with Riaan to the ball. Intruding into the matters of those loitering the bar, she assessed their conversation and made an crass entry point for herself into the engagement. Ever so resilient to the cheap shots thrown at her by the Deo Volente.
🞄 Edward Wake: Attended the meeting held by the pack leader within Lucky Dave's, Edward agreed that hiding was useless and understood the consequences of being cowardice. Taking interest in Dani, he entertained her with inquiries of the situation at hand. Despite submitting to attending the ball, he shadowed Dani, while spewing his scornful opinions to their company. Though, he excused himself and found an escort to guide him to the restrooms, strange happenings could be audibly heard from within if one were to be near and listen tentatively.
Vampires
🞄 Sabine deLorme': With the peace mind that her sister was safe and recovering from the brutal attacks of the Deo Volente, Sabine was able to properly prep for the ball. With her new compatriot and business partner, Dante, she devised a solution to subdue the werewolves from turning into their primitive forms. Spiking the drinks of the beasts with Wolfbane, only enough to stop their transformations. Upon entering the event, she made herself known with a speech, though she preached of unity - those knowing her true nature were aware of her façade. She's swiftly met by Dante and introduced to his kin. Shortly after the group is approached by Riaan, though hesitant in his own introduction, he's quick to propose an alliance among the nightwalkers. They accept the truce and proceed to make way down the stairs to join the rest of the attendees.
🞄 Charlotte 'Lottie' deLorme': Despite the betrayal she endured from Jacques and having been heavily wounded, Lottie's injuries are mended with the help of Magnus. She is brought safely back to her apartment within Lazarus to rest. Thankfully, it is a speedy recovery. She arrives at the ball with her sister, along with some added security implemented by Sabine as precautionary measures. Once settled in, she's recognized Jacques across the room and is filled with sick fascination. But that attention is drawn away by the two sons of Dante. Taking a keen interest in Virgil. Though, she excuses herself to meet with Magnus, offering her gratitude from his heroic endeavors the night before. But to her dismay, a foul presence from the sisters' past arrives and approaches her, exuding malice.
🞄 Dante, Charon & Virgil Wolfbane: After defeating Thomas, Dante quickly rushes to aid Sabine and her sister. When he is assured they are safe, he retreats to his loft and is greeted by his sons, where he commands that they three attend the ball to make their presence known. They make headway to the deLorme' sisters as soon as they arrive. Dante stands in union with his business partner, Sabine, while Riaan proposes his ideas. While the brothers introduce themselves to the youngest deLorme', Charon remaining cold yet civil as Virgil woos the girl. They've all come to an agreement and enter further into the ball to greet others.
🞄 Thaumus Friend: Taking in a helpless, Thomas, who appeared to be on death's door. Thaumus proves to the Lieutenant that he is unlike his fellow nightwalkers by showing him mercy and aiding in his recovery. He offers insight to the warlock with notes of his own knowledge about the other vampires. With that, he too ventured to the ball, finding Thomas in attendance and joining the group settled at the bar.
🞄 Cassius Amadeus Marinelli: Arrived to Saint Haddock with ill intent, he immediately makes way to Lucky Dave's where he mercilessly terrorizes the pack leader, Elu. Ultimately, ending her life. As he snakes though the city, he distributes a drug that allegedly has strong effects on the supernaturals, causing them to enter a feral like state. As he gets wind of the Blood Moon Ball, he show great interest in finding his previous lover, Sabine. Though, no good is to come of their meeting. Once he arrives, he seeks her out but chooses to torment the youngest of the deLorme' sisters first.
The Coven
🞄 Silvermist Cearos: Though apprehensive about attending the ball, Silvermist finds her voice and greets Cordelia. There, she found herself giving the fellow witch a proper introduction while mentioning her shop of curiosities.
🞄 Cordelia Hawthorne: Once again finding herself having to be the babysitter of their coven leader, Magnus. When she receives a suspicious phone call from him, she rushes to Lazarus to aide Magnus. Arriving to the aftermath of what had happened, she collects her comrade and retreats with him to her apartment for much needed rest. Together they dress accordingly in formal attire and head to the ball. When arriving, they've split ways and Cordelia is surprised by the attendance of a familiar face, Thomas. They delightfully make way to the bar and catch up with one another. There, she strikes up conversation with a young witch, Silvermist.
Characters On Hiatus
🞄 Jacques-Louis Du Chateau-Pere: Following his Lieutenant blindly into the battle of Club Lazarus, he is met with the youngest of the deLorme' sisters. Her trickery of shapeshifting, disguising herself as Thomas, lead him to a secluded hallway away from the outside chaos. But Jacques had a trick of his own, once the young vamp had made an attempt in taking a bite of the Deo Volente - she was met with a scolding mouthful of holy water that had been injected in his veins some hours before the attack. The eldest sister, Sabine, came charging in to rescue her Lottie, Jacques displayed his power with great force. Taking Lottie hostage as a means to escape the lion's den, to only leave her for dead some meters away from the club and fleeing into the night. Though, he emerged once more in attendance at the Blood Moon Ball. There, he approached the bar and acquainted himself with a fellow Deo Volente, Richter. Followed by the arrival of Dani, a werewolf.
🞄 Magnus MacVain: Being the leader of the Coven, he sought out the vampires to propose a unity of factions with the vampires residing in Lazarus. Whilst doing so, the Deo Volente has began their first attack. Magnus does his best to keep tensions from running high but to no avail. He finds Lottie outside, helpless and suffering from the wounds she received by a Deo Volente. Offering his own blood to assist in her healing, Cordelia finds him and takes him home to retire for the evening. They head to the ball together, there, he is met with Lottie once more who eagerly greets him with excitement, among the rest of the throng she had been loitering with.
