Other Random question of the day

Justice League: Unlimited.

Aren't they garentueed at least two new seasons already?
I don't know. I dont keep up on these things. All I DO know is that someone in the production or the creator or somethng died, and they havent made anything for years. So I thought the series was effectively concelled

The OA. Definitely needed another season. Too many questions and not enough answers.

Alice in Borderland. It ended on such a cliffhanger, new season where :(

Ugh, I would have loved to see another season of Infinity Train - or the movie they were planning.

I definitely believe in that. My 8th grade homeroom teacher was a hero to me. Just by being interested in my stories I created, it was like a lifeline because at the time, I was in a very dark place. I am fine now.

Not sure if I asked this one before, but...

Random question of the day:

What are your views on company run YouTube channels such as WatchMojo?
idc, as long as its entertaining. That being said, I specifically find Watchmojo to be particularly useless because the movies they countdown or recommend I've already seen many times over. OR I have previewed them, and dont have an interest in watching them.

if they have a good reason for being doubtful, and/or if they work to get more comfedent, than yeah. but there needs to be a reason why.

I think it's a neutral trope that, like all tropes, can be done well or horribly.

Generally it's done well if the character...
Has valid reason the be fearful, whether that be from the power itself or from their own background.
Has a long, believable transition period between distrusting and trusting their powers.

It's usually flubbed up when the latter is too short and unbelievable. e.g. "You had the power/control/confidence in you all along!"

Of course, you can bend these rules as well. Maybe the transition period is very short, but they had to trust their powers in order to save their loved ones in a high-stakes scenario. Maybe they FAILED to save their loved ones because they were too scared to act, when their powers would have fixed the problem. Maybe they finally start to trust their powers... and it kills them, turning the whole ordeal into a twisted tragedy, having a profound influence on all the other characters.

Like any trope, it's neutral until you do something with it.

Random question of the day:

What are your views on fictional characters who are reluctant and doubtful of their own abilities?
I mean, it's a realistic mindset. I know quite a few people irl who are quite talented and are very critical and doubtful of themselves. (I also know a few who are very overconfident, as well)

You can defeat anyone from an undead alien from space to a million centuries old god. With the power of friendship.

Random question of the day:

Have you ever moved houses before? If so, what are your experiences with moving?
moving is a pain in the ass. It is not only time consuming and costly, but it never fails that you somehow lose stuff in the process. Stuff you didnt mean to lose
