Character Sheets & Guidelines
Reyna.jpg
Guidelines (read these.)

Please respect all RpN rules and be respectful of the other players and their characters. There will be no godmoding or powerplaying here. You are in charge of your own character and no others unless given express permission. This includes the bosses and npcs I make. Minions you may autohit. I will make the differences clear in my posts. You must also wait for me to approve your character before you begin posting. I reserve the right to refuse characters that do not follow the regulations or if I believe they will not be a good fit for the rp. If there are any issues or concerns please speak with me in a private message.

Your characters will be limited in their powers at the beginning of the game, though they will become stronger as the story plays out, gaining new spells, magical items, tech, skills or weapons. Your character may not have minions. The rules of the challenge are very clear that there will be a maximum of five champions on each team. Your character may have one animal pet OR one mount if it is pivotal for their ability or skill. The size of the mount is limited to just larger than a horse, and it may fly. The challenges will be varied across space and time: one might be set in a primaeval forest, another in the ruins of a future city, so try and make your character versatile and adaptable, at least in mentality. Again, the limit of power for the beginning is that they cannot destroy more than a house without exhausting their power or weapon, so, if it’s a spell, that’ll be the biggest spell they can cast, if it’s something like a grenade launcher, they will have one shot. Just be reasonable with the first-level powers.

The characters can be drawn from anywhere, anytime and any dimension so literally anything goes as long as they adhere to the power limitations. At first they will not now anything about where they have been taken, why they’re there or who brought them. That will be revealed at the start of the thread. It's not uncommon for ppl to want antagonistic characters, but because the champions were chosen to work in a team to achieve certain goals it's not realistic that they would be unwilling to work with the others or sabotage their team for the hell of it. Please keep this in mind when designing your character. Team players are always more fun.

Please fill lout the character sheet below, you may add more but you cannot submit less. You may code it however you want but if I can't read it I won't accept it. Post the characters in this thread and wait for my approval.

Name: Agatha McCarthy

Alias: The Saint

Age: 30

Race: Human

Description or picture:
1576720078919.png1576720093330.png1576720099620.png1576720104481.png1576720110013.png

Personality: Agatha is almost always in business-mode, talking money and her targets. To her, killing is like eating and breathing. She's been working as a mercenary for so long that she doesn't even bat an eye when pulling the trigger, and it's starting to bore her how easy the recent jobs have been. Thanks to that, more innocent casualties have appeared in her recent jobs for her own sadistic pleasure. Contrary to her suggestive attire, Agatha isn't interested in romance, but is willing to bed anyone if her job requires it. She's not all that big on religion; the nun clothes are just a quirk. She'd be willing to partner with others, but according to her, "those who fall behind are left behind."

Skills and abilities:
Stockpiled -
Agatha has piles of weaponry, her main one being a custom-made M16. She has one RPG available.
Expert Mercenary - Agatha has been a mercenary for many years, growing to be one of the best in the world. She's an expert in guns, knives, combat of long and short-range, and killing in general.
Suppressed Emotions - It is said that "those who are heartless once cared too much." She will not hesitate in the slightest when it comes to killing, and may even allow the target to linger longer as a sick game.

Goals/desires:
A challenge
- Being one of the top mercenaries means that coming across someone of equal skill is rare. She has plenty of money and supplies, and it's no fun when the targets don't even put up a fight.

How do you get on their good side?: Once you prove your usefulness and become reliable. Agatha doesn't want people to slow her down, so she will tolerate you if you stay out of her way, make rational decisions, and show professionalism. To get her to like you, you have to beat her in a mock battle.

How do you make them angry?: Agatha hates when people become a liability. As long as you don't break down, fail to keep up, or go all traitor, she can tolerate you at the very least. Also, no flirting with her.

Xanatos, Elder Magistrate of the Eben-Council

Race:
Tirath

Personality: Xanatos is typically withdrawn and reserved, but polite and kind to others as a general rule. From long decades of working with his fellow Magistrates, he has developed a keen sense of a persons’ character and enjoys working with others over working on his own. While self-sufficient, teamwork and sharing the burdens of life, in his mind, is the best way to proceed forward in any situation.

Slow to anger, he is prone to lethargy of a sort whenever he must raise his hand in combat. He prefers to seek out a path that requires little to no physical violence but is capable when he needs to be.

Goals: When presented with this opportunity, Xanatos did not hesitate to put his all into these ‘games’. If his team were to claim victory, they would have their wildest dreams granted. His one wish would be fulfilled. For as long as he could remember, he had wanted one thing above all others: To know the secrets of reality itself.

Powers/Abilities: The Magistrates are well versed in a chosen school of the mystic arts, selected at the beginning of their induction into the Eben-Council. Xanatos is a master of Psychokinesis, a school dedicated to the mental and magical manipulation of physical objects and matter. With his training and experience, he is able to launch telekinetic blasts, fly, move objects, create force-fields, redirect incoming attacks and projectiles, and enhance his own striking power to a degree.
Incredibly intelligent, Xanatos is possessed of a vast amount of knowledge and is able to fluently speak, read, and write in several different languages from his home reality. Hailing from a technologically advanced race, he is able to easily understand and use new technology as long as the physics involved are not too different from those of his own home reality.

Drawbacks/Weaknesses: Though powerful and capable, Xanatos always prefers to settle things as non-violently as possible and will thus go out of his way to avoid direct conflict if at all possible.
His chosen mystic school is physically and mentally taxing, and as such, heavy usage for extended periods of time can tire out the user quickly. Objects in excess of the users’ own weight cause greater strain than smaller or lighter objects.
Beyond his intellect and mystic abilities, Xanatos is for all intents and purposes a normal mortal comparable to the average adult human in terms of strength and fighting ability.

Bio: Xanatos. That was the name given to him at his birthing ceremony, after his first moments of life began. Born as one of the Tirath, a race of intelligent, blue-skinned humanoid beings focused on the advancement of their own society and technology, Xanatos was more fortunate than many. The Tirath are highly advanced, and what humans would call a Type 2 civilization. This carries with it many advantages such as extended natural life expectancy (roughly 200 earth years) and knowledge of many facets of physics and technology others may not possess.

From a young age, Xanatos was curious and excitable. Though his race had already unlocked many secrets of the cosmos, limitless other questions and secrets remained obfuscated from even their eyes. He dedicated himself to piercing the veil and peaking behind the curtain of reality to see what made the universe and life itself work the way it does. Rising up the ranks of the Eben-Council, he obtained the rank of Magistrate earlier than most in his generation. He made many friends, allies, and several rivals in his time at the Magistrates academy, a prodigy child spurred on by an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and insight.

In his relentless fervor, Xanatos never had time for romantic inclinations or ties, instead focusing entirely on his work to the point of obsession.

Name: Michael O'Sullivan, Pyrokinetic Prodigy.

Age: 28

Race: Human.

Description or picture:
latest

Personality: A surprisingly soft hearted man, Michael prefers to talk about other people. He isnt much one for violence, preferring instead to talk his way out of situations. This is contrasted by his explosive temper, but he attempts to keep his emotions under control for various reasons.

Skills and abilities
Detective Skills: Michael is a fairly good detective, having the skills you would expect of someone in that line of work.

Psionic: Michael is a fairly weak Psion, capable of moving 10 pounds in line of sight, reading surface thoughts fuzzily, a sort of fuzzy post cognition. He can do most anything at the most basic ut would be...

Pyrokinesis:... Except Fire. Michael is an exceptional prodigy when it comes to pyrokinesis, capable of creating and controlling up to a large sheds worth of fire. He cant actually put Out the fire once it's going, and that is typically his biggest hindrance.

Goals/desires: Michael wants to undo a few mistakes hes made, and try to keep death to a minimum. Hes hardly one to ignore a plea for help though, and often will rush without thinking of the consequences.

How do you get on their good side?: Think

How do you make them angry?:

Edit: accidentally hit post...
