Name: Mairead McChonay, Tá an cailín gan trócaire (in Ireland), Annie, many other things

Age: 20

Gender: Cisgender female

Sexuality

Languages Spoken: Gaelic, English, French, Pirate (No, really)

Appearance:
the_silver_eye___delaney_by_lostie815-d8bk1tx.jpg

Likes: Music, fruit, hoods,

Dislikes: Other people (generally), children, salt

Weapon of Choice: A longsword, broadsword or a pistol, is she can get one

Preferred Role in a Crew (besides Captain or Deputy Captain): Well, Captain, first mate or Quatermaster. The higher in rank it is, the better.

Why Your Former Crew Marooned You: There was a mutinany, and she was overthrown, and thrown overboard. Also, she was kind of a dick.

Strengths: Leadership, swordsmenship

she's not a traditional pirate, fear,

Personality: Mairead is calm, cool, and collected. She almost never loses her temper, but when she does, watch out. She cares naught for anyone, except that of her crew, and has never fallen in love. She also plans not to, ever. She is a bit of a sociopath, and has ver little mercy for anyone.

Bio: Mairead was born in Ireland, to a poor family. At age 10, she ran away, and got on a ship, HMS Resolution, as a ships boy. As time passed, she got bored of this life, and began stealing small vessels. This brought her into the pirates world. She managed, just barely, to join a crew, on the Emerald. This didn't last for long, as there was a mutiny, and the captain was overthrown. She was almost killed in this encounter, and decided to get her own ship and crew. She stole a medium sized ship, and hired a crew. They gathered captives and sold them, and also ambushed merchants ships, and sold the cargo they stole from those. She got enough money from that to get a larger ship, the Neptune's Pride, and still sails it today, raiding and capturing on the high seas.

Extra: Her ship's name was The Neptune's Pearl, and she has this tattooed on her hip:
traditional_swallow_by_odoyletattooflash.jpg

Also, I just really wanted to add this, but she hunts rats. She literally shoots the little fuckers in the eyes.

@Prankster Pi
Welcome to the crew, mate!!
((ACCEPTED!! Also I'm laughing because I just finished the first Blood Jack book and the term ship's boy is very relevant))
Bloody jack? Is it possible you meant that?
Because if so, they drop her off in Boston and she almost burns it to the ground.
Yes, it was a typo and please no spoilers SMSNSNDNSNDN
I'M SORRY
IT'S GONE

Lol it's okay I finished book one xD just no spoilers for the rest HEHEEH xD

Name: Henri Bernard

Age: 24

Languages Spoken: French and English. Perhaps more, but these are the ones he talks in normally. French is his first language.

Gender Identity: Male

Sexuality: "Straight as a flamberge's edge."

This is a flamberge.

flamberge_zps877e1b96.jpg

Conclusion: Henri is not straight. At all. He won't be telling you though, unless you're a pretty guy and he's pretty drunk.

And even that's entirely unlikely, for hot chocolate is to him as rum is to any other pirate.

Appearance:

kisumi_pirate_or_something_by_banakiri-d802tf9.png

Personality: A lover, not a fighter. Mostly. Henri has a quiet confidence and wise warmness about him that tends to draw people in. It's for this reason that people come to him for advice, but he doesn't feel he has much to offer besides a joke or a song. Despite his playfulness and peaceful manner, Henri seems to always be wearing a mask. He tends to lie when the truth is something he would rather not say, so he makes drastic stories for distraction. He himself is very easily distracted and far from aggressive, which can be dangerous when being a pirate. He can also tend to be a bit moody, but will usually bounce back to his kind, bright self to be entertaining the crew soon again.

Likes: Hot chocolate, making friends, performing, starry nights at sea, the way the setting sun sets a golden path on the waves, pretty men, visiting special pirate taverns when the crew hits the shore, sand dollars, music, flirting competitions, thunder, and peaceful seas

Dislikes: Seagulls, squabbling, rum, when people pry, being belittled, taste of cherries, cold days, weevils, cats, things considered unlucky, a certain traitorous no-good terrible awful wart of a man that broke his heart, being interrupted from naps or woken up in general, and violence

Weapon of Choice: A long flamberge and a dagger

Strengths: Leading, singing, reading people, multitasking, lying, flirting, pickpocketing, advice-giving, literate, and mood-lifting

Weaknesses: easily distracted, does not trust easily, distant, falls in love easily, inexperienced fighter, quite weak, dangerously selfless, and prone to tripping over nearly every splinter.

Preferred Role in a Crew (besides Captain or Deputy Captain): Diplomat or Storyteller

Why Your Former Crew Marooned You:

Falling in love with the Captain's heir is apparently a very, very bad idea. Even worse is telling him. Henri did both.

However, he will make the reason sound like he tried to start a mutiny in order to avoid talking about it. "I took a shot, and I missed." Ouch.

Bio:

Henri grew up as a street urchin in a coastal region of France. One particular friend stayed by his side, and like many poor boys searching for adventure and a new life, they stowed away on a ship. A pirate ship. The captain, remarkably, was a kind man who took the boys in as cabin boys and educated them. As they grew, it was clear----

*Pi has been silenced by Henri, who, in his true character, would like his past to remain a secret for now*

Name: Adrian Jr. Wintz (prefers to be called AJ)

Age: 18

Languages Spoken: Latin and English, some German and Scottish

Gender Identity: Male

Sexuality: Just like Henri, flamboyant~.

Appearance: (at the beginning, his clothes are that but tattered and dirtied from the floor and sea; hoping other pirates take pity and make him wear stereotypical pirate clothes)

20151023115722506.jpg

Personality:
Very reserve and a follower. AJ apologizes a lot for their lack of experience on a ship. He tries to compensate by working hard but his sea sickness can cause more harm than good. He idolizes the navigator and cannoneer sorely on their cool factor and what they contribute to the ship. Although he is a cabin boy, he always does things with a smile and is easily tricked.

Likes: Nice clothes, perfect hygiene, smiling and helping out

Dislikes: His sea sickness, uncooperative nature and getting in the way

Weapon of Choice: Bow and arrow

Strengths: He is rather determined to fit into the rag tag crew and will do anything

Weaknesses: Glamorized by the ship's crew. He can barely carry any weight so carrying cargo is a hard task and of course, when out at sea, he can get a little green.

Preferred Role in a Crew (besides Captain or Deputy Captain): Navigator or translator but actually is cabin boy.

Why Your Former Crew Marooned You: He was never part of a crew actually. He is a noble's son who was on his way back from a trip to the Isles. Along the way, a pirate ship attacked the ship and ransacked everything. They abducted AJ, thinking he would make a hefty ransom but they never got to send the note because the boy managed to escape in the dead of night with a board. A few hours later and AJ ended up in the island with the rest of them, only his hands are shackled.

Bio: Born in a noble family and the oldest, AJ had to grow faster than the rest of them. He had to learn nobility, etiquette and politics; that was his duty but he longed for more. An adventure of a life time. To explore the lands at the far east and chart them accurately. His father would not have any of his tom foolery and he sent AJ on political business. What he did not expect was his son to be kidnapped and then lost at sea. Being part of this crew seemed to be fate and AJ made best to start anew.

@Prankster Pi Am I approved!? :3

@Prankster Pi Am I approved!? :3
Welcome to the crew, mate!

((Approved! Oh I am so stupid, I thought you were talking about Paddy's approval o^o I got no notification for this))

Name: Piotr "Pi" O'Beirne

Age: 18 (though only a month away from 19, not that he knows the day anymore)

Languages Spoken: English (more with Irish lilt), Irish Gaelic, and a wee bit of Polish

Gender Identity: Male

Sexuality: Books and boys~ "
The lasses aren't bad either, but I'll bet my bread it's the lads that be makin' me heart more aflutter~"

Appearance:

676671437e2b1a6b0f7d79e650d7ea5a.jpg

Personality: Childish and gentle, Pi is a young man who loves adventure and always has a trick up his sleeve, be it cheering someone up or lock-picking. He's a hard worker, even if it takes him a while to get going in the first place, and he loves telling a good joke or story. His persistent good humor often combats a black shadow of self-doubt and lack of confidence, something he allows himself to get caught up in. He is prone to clumsiness, cheekiness, distraction, and stuffing his face, but he will always offer his assistance while tripping his over own feet to help you. Kind as he is, he is still willing to pull a prank or two on you, especially if you pick on his friends. After all, only Pi is allowed to tease his friends in good nature.

Likes: Books, the salty sea air, food, being asked to help, the soft sway of the hammock, stars, chocolate, daydreaming, making mischief, running from site of said mischief, playing his tin whistle, showing off, spending time with friends, climbing the rigging to look at the sky, jumping out at his friends, thunder, and the feeling of family

Dislikes: The sway of the ship during a storm, being manhandled, being pushed around, really hot days, really cold days, being scared of deep water, spooky shanties, ghost stories, ghosts, symbols of bad luck, weevils, early risings, eating the same thing over and over again, being bored, feeling lonely, his clumsiness, SPLINTERS, the dark, fights, and actually having to fight

Weapon of Choice: Big Innocent Smile, maybe a mop. Or a handy vegetable, whatever's laying around. RIP Pi.

Strengths: Knots (very good at knots), can do a jig better than you, lifting the mood, parrying, being a peace-maker, being sneaky, inhaling immense portions of food, musically apt, and voice imitations

Weaknesses: Not aggressive in fights, unsure of self, easily frightened, cannot swim well, fears deep water (and whatever resides beneath it), talks so fast that he often has to repeat himself to be understood, probably shouldn't handle sharp things, and wears himself out

Preferred Role in a Crew (besides Captain or Deputy Captain): Cabin Boy

Why Your Former Crew Marooned You: They didn't. They were shipwrecked. Pi was the lone survivor.

Bio:

Pi the Orphan of the Isle

Ran errands for its folk,

At least for a while.

'Cause soon, it was no joke,

Poor Pi was spirit'd away in a boat

While deliverin' a thing for a forgetful bloke.

The sailors on which he'd kindly dote

Promised his return, but not anoth'r word was spoke.

And soon Pi slowly took his fate

As he climbed a mast, tall as an oak,

Not even knowin' he was now a pirate.

But what had the guts, oh, to provoke

That Villain, Davy Jones?

Amid splinters and smoke,

Pi float'd away, while the rest of 'em turned to bones.

(Summary: Pi was an orphan in Ireland, and he worked as an errand boy in the town he lived in. One day, he was delivering something to a ship, but they forgot he was still finishing said errand when the ship pulled away from the coast. The sailors, actually pirates, promised to return the boy, who worked diligently to helped around on the ship. But they never said another word about returning him home. Either way, Pi grew used to this life, unbeknownst a pirate, and gradually accepted his fate...only to be shipwrecked! He floated unconsciously among some debris that took him to the island, a lone survivor.)
