You have 3 weeks to get a date for Monster Prom! Explore your wacky monster high school, go through absurd and funny situations, raise your points and seduce one of your classmates before anyone else does. Will you have a date or will you be left alone forever?
➽─❥ SETTING
Spooky high, an all monster school situated in Monstropolis, a city of mostly monsters. Humans are aware of monsters and some even interact with monsters themselves but for the most part monsters are feared and avoided by humans. Although the school is name spooky high it is unlike any other highschool. for the most part ages range from 100, to 100,000. The school serves as mainly a place to corral and keep the monsters contained. many have been there for years.
➽─❥ HOW IT WORKS
if you have 4 or 5 characters two of them becomes "player characters" these are characters that will be trying to get a prom date and woo the romancable characters and all your other characters become romancable. so for example lets say citrine (my dragon boy) is my player character and for example they're trying to get kelpie girl as their date. pride will in the rp, slip in a question and highlight it in red
the question could be something like "do you enjoy swimming" and at the bottom of their rp post pride will list the question: DO YOU ENJOY SWIMMING? choices: yes/no and no. they dont type it, pride will pre decide which is the right choice if i then choose no and thats the wrong choice, i lose a point. the goal is to get the most points. we'll do a choice once every five rp posts. multiple people can go after the same character, and at the end if someone else was trying to romance kelpie girl too but citrine has 8 points and the other has 5 points citrine gets the date.

➽─❥ SPORTS
Like most highschools and colleges, sports at Spooky High are everything. Winning gains you the right to rub it in everyone's face and a free pass for midterms to all athletic students that score a win for the school. So far spooky high has lost almost every tournament for the last five years to their two biggest rivals; scream high and S.L.A.Y.E.R. Competitiveness is at an all time high as not just the tournament prize is at stake, winning could help them secure their prom date.
SPORTS AVAILABLE TO JOIN:
Monsterball - basketball but all powers are allowed. The object of monsterball is to throw the ball into a hoop to score points. The game is played out on a rectangular court and depending on which section of court you successfully throw a ball into the basket will depend on how many points are scored. The ball can be moved around the court by dribbling or passing the ball. At the end of the game the team with the most points is declared the winner. There are three scoring numbers for monsterball players. Any basket scored from outside the three point arc will result in three points being scored. Baskets scored within the three point arc will result in two points being scored. Successful free throws will result in 1 point being scored per free throw. The number of free throws will depend on where the foul was committed. unlike normal basketball tackling and combat is allowed when blocking and guarding an opponent.
Hunter vs Prey - a mix of hide and seek and tag but with stabbing and fighting. Nothing is off limits to escape, hide, or tag. Hunters work in teams of 2. up to 12 members in a game. takes place at the woods outside the school, its a large area with numerous hiding spots and abandoned buildings. two hunters are selected randomly at the beginning, and then must count to 180. Meanwhile the prey must find a hiding spot. All prey members have a strip of cloth that is attached to their waistband. Hunters must snatch all the colored flags for it to count as a win. There is a 15 minute timer, once the time is up the remaining prey each get a point and for every 4 players the hunters catch they get one point. There are 5 rounds and at the end the individual with the most points on the scoreboard wins.
capture the flag — exactly what it sounds like but 100% more dangerous and violent. held in the same location as hunter vs prey but the area boundaries are increased. two teams of 6 are made, and each team is given a flag. On each side of the forest, both teams hide their flag somewhere visible, but easily defensible. To win for your team, you need to capture the opponent's flag and carry it across the river that divides the middle of the forest, and acts like a border. there is a Capture the Flag jail and captured opponents can be placed in the jail and aren't allowed to leave unless freed by another person from their team. The entire forest is considered "fair game" and all abilities/powers and weaponry are allowed. The flags must be prominently displayed and can have no more than two guards. Prisoners may be disarmed, but may not be bound or gagged. Killing is NOT allowed. (yes i stole the rules from percy jackson, dont @ me oop)
catch and release — water polo but you can grapple an opponent in an attempt to stop them from grabbing the ball. Powers are allowed, death is not. light drowning however, is a-ok. Players advance the ball upfield by swimming with the ball in front of them or by passing to teammates. Players are not allowed to touch the bottom of the pool and players tread water or swim for the entire match. They can go underwater as needed as well and full contact is ok but players can only attempt to grapple one opposing member at a time. Teams can only retain the ball for up to 30 seconds without shooting at goal.
spirit team — not everyone is a spirit but everyone on the team has spirit!! (Basically just cheerleaders) They create and perform short routines that combine dance, gymnastics, and stunt elements to cheer on their teams. unlike the other sports, powers aren't really used as much unless it's to save a flyer or another member if they drop.
deathball — dodgeball but scarier, requires six players, with five starting inside the court and one out. A team loses when there are none left in the court. Players who are eliminated move outside the court, from which they can still catch, pass and throw the ball. The ceiling and walls are considered extensions of the court. Clothing counts as part of a player's body. If the injuries of a player are declared too serious to continue by the referee, he is forced to quit the game and cannot be replaced. The rules allow being offensive no matter where a player is in the field. For example, "passing" the ball to an opponent with enough force to knock him out is legal. Each team is allowed to call "Back" once, allowing one of the players out of the court to return. It can be used at the beginning, too, to play with all six players inside the court. However, if the ball falls out of the court, where there is no player, it goes to the opponent's team. If the last player is hit and "Back" is called, the team loses nonetheless. (also yes i struck again, i took this from hunter x hunter dont @ me)

S.L.A.Y.E.R.S
Sidane’s Learning Aacademy for Yearlong Extraordinarily Ruthless Students
A school about 30 mins from spooky high that is home to all humans, oddly this school is set within Monstropolis. S.L.A.Y.E.R.S teaches students to control and master their fear of monsters, through psychical sport. Training is rigorous and students at S.L.A.Y.E.R.S are superior to normal humans in unique ways. Some are smarter, some are psychically stronger, and others may be faster with abnormal reflexes. They are a competitive school and this year they have resolved to complete the season without a single loss in any categories. Like spooky high, they offer the same sports:
Monsterball - same as spooky rules except, since they dont have monster powers for them it just means they are able to go full strength and use the utmost of their natural ability.
Hunter vs Prey - same as spooky just with them being able to bring more weapons to even the playing field and they are allowed support items/gadgets.
Capture the Flag — same as spooky however spooky high has a school nurse, a Fenghuang (Chinese Phoenix) to act as emergency medic in case anything goes wrong. they fly above the woods and keep an eye out and if needed can heal any injury.
Catch and Release — once again same as spooky however there is a time limit to how long people may be dunked underwater as most of the humans could take serious life altering damage from slight drowning. spirit team — cheerleaders, thats it
