That was a bit of an odd question to ask, and perhaps unfortunately for her, not one he could answer. That was normally a pretty straight-forward answer, as he's seen from other ponies, but he didn't know the answer—he's never thought of how to answer. That particular question was never one he actually expected to be asked of him. The idea of other ponies truly caring about him never really went far in his own mind.
Feeling a connection... Expellix froze up slightly, going stock still on her back, eyes flicking back and forth without much pattern. It was as if he wasn't seeing the world anymore, like he was looking into a completely different one. It certainly seemed like a totally new world to him quite suddenly. He... didn't know how to respond. There were few moments in his life where he was left completely bereft of words.
He didn't really catch the rest of what she said. "I..." He started quietly, but then he was suddenly bucked off of her back. Expellix let out a loud, surprised yelp, going tumbling over and landing on his head, upside-down in the chair.
The bunny scrambled to his paws. "Warn a rabbit before you go tossing him overboard!" He yelled, but just laughed it off, brushing his fur back down.
