Koi scrunched up his face as kurama responded and messed with his hair. Koi grumbled at his question. He was mindful, but no one around here didn't seem to think so. As ginette began to speak, koi's eyes widened and he grinned. Help her with her mission?! Perfect! Not only might he be taken seriously, but he'll probably make a friend out of this!

"Sure!" He replied to ginette's question after kurama had spoken. "Don't worry! We magikarps are the most sociable around! So, with me around, you'll get this mission done in no time!" He assured in his own special way. Koi had a ton of friends back in johto, like his mom and dad...and...w-well, he couldn't remember the names right now! The list was too long! Long story short, though, koi was a master a making friends! There was that nice mawile! ...But she kinda left him alone...Oh! Taria was a friend! ...W-well, she did seem kinda bored and fell asleep mid-conversation...which led to koi awkwardly walking away...OK, not all friends are perfect!

Seeing ginette now taking to what looked like a raichu, causing koi to grin and wave, though he was confused to why she was so nervous. Did he smell weird? He sniffed his arm, yet shrugged as he couldn't find anything wrong.

The tower was not too hard for Haname to find. After spending sometime idly chatting with her two superiors, she felt much better about her situation regarding the CBC. She entered the building with a new perspective of her CBC situation. Even if she still felt a bit unconfident in her position, she was not alone, as Kurama had said.

As she stepped in the building she grew giddy with excitement. This was the same building that Xerneas lived in! The great and powerful fairy queen whom the mawile would be able to give her life to serve. Haname looked around; This place was a bit less celestial looking than Haname originally expected. There were some nice plants every here and there. They were all well-kept and the building itself was kept neatly. Haname searched for the legendary fairy aura. She found it a bit odd that she couldn't have felt it when she first entered the city, or even the premises of the building. Perhaps the goddess was out on a mission? If she was a powerful goddess that must be the case, but Haname felt the need to feel for it just in case. As she walked toward the dining hall, she closed her eyes, using her aura seeking powers to see instead. As she looked around, she saw slight traces of this fairy aura everywhere, but it was very faint.

Haname opened her eyes again. So Xerneas was somewhere in this building, but her presense wasn't as strongly emmitted as she had learned at the shrine. She stepped into the cafeteria, to find that many of the others were already here. It seemed as though two tables already had people at them, one with a larger group including familiar faces like Koi, Kurama, Ginnette and a not so familiar raichu, whom Haname recognized as a new recruit. The raichu was etremely nervous, and such that even her aura was shaky and streaks of different colors swirled around inside.

Haname looked at the other table, to find Kali, and a strange looking Deino. His aura seemed very unusual, but similar to Kali's in the sense that he emitted slightly dangerous feelings, but his dangerousness was different than hers. Haname, was unsure whether to sit with Kurama or Kali, and didn't want to offend either one of them, so she just sat at one of the few remaining set empty tables, happily thinking to herself of what might be in store for them once they started going through actual training.

Arai Chu: Dining Hall

Arai smiled awkwardly at Ginette as she introduced herself, Koi, and Kurama. Ginette seemed nice. She half expected them to be mad at her or something for interrupting them, but it was good they didn't. It was also good all of them didn't decide to talk to her at once, she probably would of froze on the spot if they did. She wasn't used to a lot of attention, especially from strangers. The fact that she was here talking to the group now was a feat in and of itself, she knew she had to work with these people if she was following through with joining and that meant talking to them.

"Um..I'm Arai. Nice to meet you guys.." She replied. She arched a brow as Koi sniffed under his arms. Why even..? Well...okay then. Arai wasn't going to question it, just go with it and leave it be. "S-so...are all of you new recruits too?" She asked. "Aside from Jirachi, of course.." She added. She wasn't sure if they were or not. She'd feel more comfortable if they were, but it would also be pretty cool to talk to longer standing members of the CBC and get to know what all they do better. But that was a long shot she supposed. She should of just stuck around Tsunami.

"Me and ginette are!" Koi said quickly, raising his hand and sweating a bit when arai looked at him weirdly. Seriously, did he smell weird or not?! Was he unapproachable?! Koi, naturally, had bad experiences with thunder types. For some reason, they didn't like him, and koi always ended up shocked and twitching on the ground. But this was going to be different! He wasn't going to let a new friend slip by him!

"S-So...what exactly happens at these things?" Koi asked, attempting to make a conversation. There was a small possibilty that he MIGHT'VE not been invited to any sort of party before. Would they play games? Eat food? He could sure go for some apple pie, right now. Or better yet...funnel cake! Chuck smiled widely, going sparkly-eyed just thinking of the powdered goodness as he waited for a response.

"Well, it certainly is helpful that you're sociable. I never had the best knack for making friends." Growing up, Ginette had rarely interacted with anyone who was not also a Kirlia. Well, besides her occasional moonlighting as a Vigilante. But that wasn't polite conversation for now- no one wanted to hear about her self indulgent childish exploits. They were here for more serious business.

"Well, tell me about yourselves, then- both you and Arai. That way we'll get all this done in no time at all!" She said cheerily, taking a seat. No one had exactly said she could, but she could take this social liberty today. "Where are you both from? I, myself, am from a small village in Hoenn, know as Verandanturf town." She explained. "It's a rather nice town, but it is awfully small. Not much to be done there, in all honesty." She felt that in one day in Lumiose, she had done more than she had in a lifetime in Hoenn.

As she spoke, she gave a slight sideways glance to Kurama. What had the old Ninetails meant when he spoke of the dangers of a Mega-Stone? Jirachi had mentioned some drawbacks if she was unable to wield it properly, but something about Kurama's tone implied something heavier. Frankly, the idea scared her a little. But she couldn't afford to falter here.

"I can't say I quite knows what happens here, honestly." She told Koi. "I would think they'll serve dinner, perhaps dessert. Maybe, if we are lucky, Xerneas herself will join us. I would think they will also explain out duties as members of this society in more detail." She mused. "Unless our senior colleague has a better idea of tonight's itinerary?" She said, facing Kurama this time.

Dian the Deino

“…Cotton candy?….” Those two words were probably the only ones that made his attention perk up, eyes glancing towards the woman when she mentioned the sweet. Yeah yeah, yadda yadda—Who cares about some magikarp kid! “Though...Festival? I didn’t hear about any festival” Dian blinked, tilting his head slightly. The devil inside his mind drooled with the mention of it, showing his sharp teeth to the woman in a wide grin; You know how many sweets and snacks they sell at festivals!? Holy shit…!

“You ain’t making it up, right?” I mean, he sometimes had trouble believing what people said to him. It was due to some event that happened a long, long time ago. And yes, even if it was about a silly festival. And if she was being serious—Who the heck was he going to go with? It’s not like he was the most sociable pea in the pot….

Dian’s eyes left her figure, and decided to stare at the people around the tables. His eyes were hidden by a curtain of black hair, made with the intension of staring at people without them knowing. Plus, his long bangs looked cool like that. And frankly, it was fun having people guess his eye color.
“None of them look interesting” He commented, letting out a huff as he slouched back in his chair. And by that he meant, none of them looked fun enough to stalk—Plain and boring looking…

“Where is the food by the way?

Koi grinned. Talk about himself? That was easy! "Well," Koi began. "I'm from Johto! I live in CherryGrove City!" Koi exclaimed, smiling proudly. He, his mom, and his dad lived there, as well as some of his relatives. It was pretty boring there, what with going to school and sparring with the same kids every day, but koi wouldn't have it any other way. "It's probably the best city in the whole region! Not TOO big, but not TOO small. And there's always that nice sea breeze too!" Koi puffed out his chest. "Plus, it's one of the many places where us Magikarp lives!" That was another cool thing about magikarps! They practically lived everywhere! Koi even sometimes visited other family members in other towns!

After Ginette spoke about what might happen, koi grinned. "I could eat!" Koi exclaimed, stomach growling in agreement, causing him to blush and chuckle nervously. "And it'd be cool to see that Xerneas lady everyone's been talking about!" Seriously, what was special about gods or goddesses anyway? Just because they had better moves didn't make them so special. Though, if Xerneas was the leader of the CBC, maybe she really WAS something to talk about. Maybe, if he played his cards right, he could spar with her! Koi's grin got wider. That'll show everyone how strong he was! All he had to do was butter her up a little, slip in the question, hit her with a splash attack, and maybe then people would take him seriously! Koi was in his own little world now, silently giggling to himself and rubbing his hands together, already scheming in that fishy little head of his.

Kurama

Kurama glanced to Arai as she asked whether or not he was a new recruit before giving a low chuckle. "No, I've been here for a long time." He decided it would be best to just ignore Koi's antics for the time being. This boy was definitely going to be a handful, no doubt about that. At least the other new recruits seemed to be working on introducing and learning about one another. If they wanted to know about him, they would have to ask first.

He gave a low hum in thought as Ginette turned to him and asked about the events for the evening. "Ah, well dinner should be starting before long. Enough variety for pretty much any taste since there are so many different nomemon among us. Jirachi will likely address everyone before the meal actually starts." The Ninetales gave an annoyed sigh, his ear twitching slightly as Koi referred to Xerneas as 'that Xerneas lady.' "But yes, Lady Xerneas will be arriving at some point during the evening to speak with everyone."

She always did show up. Even if it meant the death of her, she'd come to meet the new members.

  • Through the entrance of the building the figure of the odd uniformed Wailord would be squeezing into the room. Moving his hands up and twisting his helmet around some to just straighten it up before pulling himself up and took a look around. Bustling with everyone dotted talking about the various little things that came to their minds. A nice little scene honestly seeing everyone getting to know each other. So he walked inwards, just giving a bit of a wave to anyone looking at him, but otherwise not saying too much as he brought his gaze around, spying a group of two. Dian it looks like, and the Seviper.

He decided to just wander over as he brought his form over to the table. "Mind if I sit here Dian? . . . Kali?" he asked, simply just acting through his words and pulled a chair out and promptly moved his form over to sit down onto the chair. Not exactly a comfortable seat, but then again, there isn't that many people that decide to wear a diving suit all day and tend to be larger than the majority of the populas. Tis the downside of it, nonetheless he simply just resided there, looking around some at the other two. "Tis a busy day with everyone mmn?" he said, letting his arms hang down from his form. "So what are you two talking about?" He asked, twiddling his fingers some as he was attempting some form of a small talk with these two. Even if he didn't particularly enjoy talking to one, well, standing in a corner would just look weird if it just ended up like that. As well that everyone else was already in their own little pairs, at least from who he noticed.

Pietra enjoyed her time wandering the festival with skittles and Ginette but it wasn't exactly her cup of tea. Less violence than she would like, though she'd never admit it. She waved goodbye to Skittle, knowing she'd be back for food later. She took her leave of Ginette as well and returned to her rooms for a brief rest. It was a big day and she was feeling a bit nervous about it. That poor Magikarp looked like he was going to be eaten alive! Possibly by her if she had to train his sorry butt! Seriously. And the rest of the recruits ranged from too undisciplined to entirely too serious. Pietra took a long breath. it was fine. Everything would be fine. By the ledgendaries she needed a good rampage. Food would have to do. She left her room and sighed. Food would have to do.

She arrived in the eatery and grabbed a heaping plate of food. She passed Kurama and gave him a sharp look as it seemed like he was being unnecessarily mean to the new recruits. the expression vanished as she passed Kali who was with her Deino "Friend". She saw no one she really wanted to talk to (Except Skittles but her best friend seemed other wise engaged and she'd hate to ruin her fun). So she sat a table away and relaxed as she dug into her food as politely as possible while shoving as much food as possible into her face.

Celebi: Outside of Ecuteak city

gijinka_celebi_x_reader__i_would_do_it_again_by_shadowfollowed-d962jr3.png

At what point in time was he currently it? It hardly mattered to the time-traveling god; While he would never control a thing such as the ebb and flow of time (Which he was thankful for, as that seemed like too much work for his tastes), he would never actually be confined to the eternal prison that people called 'Today'. He could go back to 'Yesterday' as much as his heart desired. He had the freedom that everyone else only dreamed of.

That being said, he did still need to know the current date. While Celebi didn't care one way or another where he had traveled to, some days were important. The technology laying around his home told him that it was definitely after the invention of the Holocaster, as he happened to see one that he may or may not have stolen laying on the table. Yeah, that didn't help him very much in the slightest. All it really told him for sure was that he probably shouldn't go talking to Jirachi and Xerneas was probably a No-go.

"Ahhh, yup, I really should have been more specific in my labeling," Celebi observed once he found a calender, the date circled with a red circle as it always was, with the word 'Dad' written in red ink. Well, at the very least he knew that apparently Arceus was doing something, though he wouldn't be sure exactly what that was until it happened. Maybe, after it happened, he could fix his poor labeling. If the the father of the Gods and Goddesses was gathering them all somewhere, though, Celebi would probably fall asleep, which wouldn't surprise any of the other Legendaries.

Would he spend any time fretting about what was going to happen later, though? No, not in the slightest. That would be a complete waste of his not-so-precious time. Celebi didn't need to fret; He could just go back and redo whatever he had failed to do the first time. There were very few things that concerned him in his life.

Kali laughed aloud as Dian asked her about the festival. "Aww, sugar- didn't you know? They do it every year- when new recruits come. I'm not sure if the festival came first or the CBC, to be honest. Either way, it's pretty real, and there's cotton candy and caramel apples and everything. I'll take you tomorrow, kay?" She soothed him, her hand waving through the air in a motion that indicated that the whole ordeal was no big deal to her.

"Not a one? The little Mawile is a doll, and something about that Gardevoir makes me want to go ruffle her skirts- that child has probably never had a day of fun in her life. And the Magikarp- oh goodness, I just want to lock him and Kurama in a room and video tape it, ya know?" She laughed again, before Tsunami arrived to sit with them.

"Tsunami! Hello, darling- or course you can sit with us. Just when I begin to think you utterly hate me, you bless me with your presence." Kali knew for a fact that Tsunami hated her- that was why she liked him so much. "Oh, we're just gossiping about the new kids- you know how we old people are." She leaned in towards him, and said in a stage whisper. "We're taking bets to see who dies first." She giggled. She loved to pretend she was worse than she was- half of her fun here came from her image of cruelty.

"Food? Oh, right... hmmmm.. " She looked around after Dian's question. "I dunno- ask Jirachi, If anyone knows, it's her. If you can get to her through that nasty looking crowd." The group around their boss seemed to grow larger and larger by the moment- Kali didn't want anywhere near that hoard.

Shuck

It had been an...interesting day, Shuck hadn't expected Aindama to ditch him at a flower shop but she'd barely acknowledged his presence and left him rather put out. After making sure that she'd at least knew how to get to the tower he had left and wandered around until it was time to meet up.

Surveying the room Shuck noted with amusement the Kurama almost looked ready to blow his top at the newcomer's antics again.

Hang on is that kid a Magikarp? Definitely too young and interesting for that foxy guy.

"Evening to all newcomers and vets!"
He anounced himself boldly. "To all of you lovely people who've just joined us I am Shuck, if you're ever feeling bored and need a hand I'm always available, well almost always."

Strolling across the room he gave Jirachi a jaunty salute and blew a kiss to Kali before stopping in front of the Magikarp kid and ruffling his hair.

"How's it going mite? I bet Kurama here has been a right barrel of laughs ever since you two met." He snickered half to himself. "If you want you can stick with me and I'll show everything you need to get by in this town."

The mawile turned her head and in a moment she was bombarded with the fastly moving words of a hyperactive shorty. She attempted to answer a question once, but it wouldn't take to long for the girl to say something else. Her horn showed Haname's amusement in the girl, a big spikey grin prominent on the steel jaws attached to the back of her head.

"Nice to meet you, Miss Skittles! My name is Haname! I am well, and everyone that I've met so far seems rather pleasant. As for food I'm certain they'll have a wide arrangement of sorts, since there seems to be a wide assortment of Nomeman. This place is... I guess you could say exciting, in a way. I can't wait to meet Xerneas. I've dreamed of meeting her since as far as I can remember." She said, taking a moment to try and remember whether or not she had responded to everything Skittles had said.

She too was hopeful of what kinds of foods were to be served at dinner. Jirachi seemed to be a bit of a spontaneous person, as everything about her seemed loud, so Haname wouldn't be surpised to see a bunch of foods that matched that kind of bursting energy. She wasn't sure which direction that vibrant attitude would drive her, but the mawile was certain that if Jirachi decided the menu, it would either be too sweet or too spicy. Haname preferred foods with a more moderate taste. She did enjoy spicy foods, and like almost all fairy types she did have a bit of a sweet tooth.

She recognized Skittles as a shuckle, but she couldn't help but notice her bright pink aura, a color that she was told usually was only found in strong fairy types like Diancie or Xerneas, who rarely showed themselves in the world, but were said to have a love for everything in it even if they had never seen it. Pink was a color of optimism, but the brighter it was generally meant that person was more optimistic.

When the mawile had first heard that Jirachi was the only one who followed Xerneas when she had formed the CBC, she remembered being surprised that Diancie hadn't. She never knew that it was even possible for a fairy type to oppose Xerneas, even if Arceus was the one who was ruler of all the legendaries. And Jirachi, of all of the legendaries, had followed her. The two of them had nothing in common in the past. Of course, Haname hadn't read very much on legendaries other than Xerneas, but she did know a little about each of them, for meditating and training in the art of aura-reading could only entertain her for so long, and while she did so every day, she enjoyed reading, specifically about the legendaries in the past.

Jirachi had no significant similarities with Xerneas. She was a minor god, from space, with control over space and no ties to the world at all. Why did she involve herself in a war in a way that only would cause inconvenience for her, especially since she had no possible way to relate to the Nomeman enough to want to throw away her spot with Arceus for it?

"What do you like about this place best?" She asked, interested in the young girl and what she was like to have such a brightly colored aura."I'm sure it's probably a lot of fun. Do you spend more time in the city? Or in the headquarters?"

Banette: Literally inside of the table by Skittles and Haname

There will be an image here once Lettuce gets off his lazy ass and resizes her picture

What was Banette doing, floating on her back underneath the tables? Frankly, at this point she wasn't entirely sure, though she was sure that there had been a reason at first, like a dropped item or something- But there she was, hovering a couple inches above the floor, hands crossed over her chest as if she was a dead body, unsure whether or not she was moving, as her hair went straight through the floor. It was peaceful, if a tad strange of a sight.

If the Nomeman stayed under the table for any longer, though, she thought she may fall asleep, which would lead to a repeat of the last time she fell asleep somewhere she didn't belong. Though she thought it might be nice to actually get some sleep after not having slept for about three days, it would be inconveniencing to have one of the other Nomeman find her, and have that as an awakening.

With a sigh, she shifted into a vaguely sitting-esque pisition, which put her head above the table, though not anything else. It was then that she realized that she had decided to sit up by two other people. She recognized one as Skittles, a female Shuckle who spent an awful long time around Pietra, but the other one... Not so much. This Mawile must have been a new recruit.

"Oh, hello," She said, looking at the two other girls, her head cocked to the side, which caused some of her snowy locks to fall over her ruby coloured eyes, "Are you new here, Doll?"

Tsunami hearing the words of the snake, would promptly just lean his arm onto the table, and pressed his knuckles against his helm as he just stared at her with a bit of a glare in his eyes, at least what could be told through his helmet. Mumbling out some, "Mmm-hmm. . ."

Promptly lifting up his hand to wave a bit. "I'm sure they'll do fine. We'll keep a eye on them if something does go bad, right?" he said leaning in a bit at her. Before pulling himself back onto his chair as he brought his vision towards the other group. "You'd be better off holding off for a bit. Unless you wanna table surf your way over there which probably is a option. We'll i'm sure it will be alright as it is, hopefully filling at least though." Giving a bit of a shrug before turning his attention over to the two. "You talk to any of the new ones yet? Iv'e only managed to talk to the small Raichu, kinda shy towards people, I think she's in the group, the Mawile over there next to skittles, but only for a second. And the Arcanine over there by herself, she's a really, really shy one that one." He said pointing off towards the general direction before turning back round. "But that's all iv'e really met, didn't really stick around to talk to them much, went out treasure hunting again. got like, I dunno seven dollars in change. Ill count it out later."

Tsunami began to lean back into his seat, just tapping one of his hands against the table. "Mmmn, I need to see what stuff I can find around to eat while this whole festival thing continues on. Probably should try something other than just going, oh, huh, I suppose seaweed again today. Keep on forgetting to try something around. Get too wrapped up with my own hobbies I guess." Tsunami pondered some as his mind was more or less wandering around things that swept around inside his head.

    opldUQj.jpg

Tsunami perking up some, would just start thinking about something that came up into his mind. "Sorry if I'm sounding like a old man suddenly, but you remember when we first joined around here? Gosh, man all spry and fresh, lotta people excited and stuff, now its just sorta kinda eh, and its a bit cute seeing the couple around who are all nervous about this day on and so fourth. She called to them and he vaporeon and sylveon both came when called and giggled as they brought their elder sister a pretty black headband with ribbons on the sides for her to wear in her long icy blue hair. Serenity was flattered and happy that her little sisters thought of her so kindly and let them put it on her and it completed her look. "Thank you both." she said and hugged her little sisters and continued to walk through the large city.

Eventually they reached a time when they remembered they had to go to the dinning hall to meet with the other CBC members. Serenity, Angel and Selene all started to hurry to the dinning hall to take their places and meet with everyone. The three girls couldn't believe they let the time get away from them. "You were supposed to watch the time Serenity!" Angel said with a bit of blame in her voice. Serenity just let the girl say what she wanted as she didn't see that the younger girl was wrong in her accusations. Instead she just took a deep breath and led the three of them to the dinning hall where everyone else had already arrived it seemed. All three girls were embarrassed that they were so late. "Um....s-sorry about being so late....w-we lost track of time enjoying the festival..." Selene said but Serenity just put a comforting hand on the young girl's shoulder.

"We've never been to a festival before and I wanted them to enjoy their first one without worrying about anything else." Serenity explained defending her little sisters first and foremost. They were her entire reason for being and if she lost them it would be like losing her legs and she'd rather be dead than be without them. She didn't want her younger sister's to be in trouble because of her mistake and lack of adult judgment. She had to be honest with herself and admit that she also was enjoying the festival and had hoped to perhaps own her own café where she could sing and dance to her heart's content.

There were quite a few people here and he three girls tried to be quiet and make their way to sit together as they always had. Selene sat on the right of Serenity and Angel sat on her left. All tree girls were quite hungry for something substantial to eat and was quite curious as to what was going on and why they were chosen to be inducted into the CBC.

((Such a short post :( forgive me!!! ))

A door off to the side could be heard opening as a pair of Nomemon stepped out and observed the group. A Plusie and Minun, both wearing bright smiles on their faces as they saw the large gathering. It had been awhile since they'd seen so many new recruits at once. This made all the extra work they'd put into tonight's dinner that much more worth it!

Not that . . . it wasn't worth it to begin with by any means.

"Dinner's ready!" They both called out to the gathered members of the CBC. "Come and get it while it's still fresh! Newest members first, of course." It had always been a rule of sorts among the CBC. The youngest, those of lowest rank would eat first with the oldest getting their food last. According to Xerneas it was something that had been around from long before the Nomemon were even part of this world.

When the members would step into th e other room to get their food, they'd find a large spread before them. Dishes of all sorts had been prepared in order to suit the tastes and needs of nearly any kind of Nomemon out there. Only the most picky out there wouldn't find something they would like tonight.

    Interacting with: Tsunami (

Kali ignored Tsunami for a moment to fake a swoon before sticking her tongue out at Shuck. He was, of course, taking his time to get all buddy buddy with the new kids. She turned back to Tsunami, giving him a look that said "Sorry, I wasn't listening." She knew it would be one of her many micro-aggressions during this conversation.

She snorted out a laugh as he suggest that she would watch out for the fresh meat.
"Oh, Absolutely! You know me- just the most nurturing and mature woman in the CBC- Mamma Kali is gonna take great care of all these kids. I'll kill them with kindness!" She guffawed, rolling her eyes before turning away with an exaggerated roll of her head.

"But the giant's right, Dian- I think you ought to just wait- otherwise you might end up tricking the newbies into thinking you're sociable. And wouldn't that just be tragic." She spun her knife around her wrist, watching the chain slowly wrap itself around her forearm. "Though, I'd love to see how well you and that tiny Raichu get along- or maybe that shy Arcanine."

Oh, wait- Tsunami was still talking- did that man realize how annoying he could be?
Not likely, she thought with a small sigh, looking back to him over her shoulder. "Oh- young and spry? Was that how we were then?" That didn't quite match her memory- she had come to the CBC filled with anger and determination- she was going to prove to everyone that she could still fight. She had, after all these years, but she knew better than anyone that she still had a grain of that old bitterness.

In a slightly less happy tone, she gave a cold laugh.
"I think your nostalgia is making you blind, grandpa."

At that moment, a announcement rang through the hall for dinner. Perfect, she could use a bit of food.
"Dian, darling- my back is hurting me terribly right now" She said in her most honeyed voice- her near-constant pain wasn't that bad at the moment, but she didn't feel like waiting in line. "Would you mind getting me a plate- whenever we senior members are allowed to eat, of course."

Koi, in the middle of his scheming, was interupted by someone messing with his hair...again. Eye twitching, he looked up at the houndoom guy. Barrel of laughs? Did Kurama even know about jokes? After the guy offered to show him around, Koi scoffed and waved his hands dissmisevly, chuckling soon after.

"Nah." Koi said simply. He tapped his head. "We Magikarps are the most adaptable nomemon around! Trust me, pretty soon, I'll know this city like the back of my hand." Koi boasted proudly, crossing his arms. "Seriously, I may look a kid, but I am 100% adu-"

It was then he heard the announcement of dinner, causing him to quickly jump from his seat, push the guy out the way, and practically sprint to the other room. "They better have apple juice!" He yelled, running into the room. He skidded to a stop and gasped, falling to his knees. It was...It was...He couldn't find the words! Tears literally streamed down his cheek, the heavenly sight of all this food becoming too much for the boy. "It's. So. BEAUTIFUL!" Koi sobbed, sniffling and wiping away the tears. He breathed in and out. "Okay, Koi. Calm down." He looked at the spread. "Just grab a little food and be on your way."

It was then Koi had gotten a simple salad...that was at the bottom of a large stack of food that towered over his head a bit, causing him to hold his plate with two hands and balance it. His eyes were focused on the single funnel cake on the top as he walked back to his table, deciding that would be the first thing he ate.

Celebi: Visiting Moltres because he's bored

gijinka_celebi_x_reader__i_would_do_it_again_by_shadowfollowed-d962jr3.png

Nap, or go out and do something? Celebi was awfully fond of naps; Once, he had repeatedly traveled back in time to constantly sleep on a guy he disliked couch, so as to prevent the Nomeman from ever sitting on his own couch. Yeah, maybe it was a bit petty, but it didn't hurt the God in the slightest. After all, who would believe him if he told them 'Celebi won't stop sleeping on my couch.' Nobody, that was who, unless they came into his house. Celebi had no regrets about his actions.

He still required other people to know what was going on, though. He didn't just happen to know everything that was going on on a certain day in history (which surprisingly few people seemed to believe about him- apparently, he was supposed to remember everything). Plus, he was in the mood to visit somebody at this moment in his long life. But who did he want to visit? He normally stuck around the other Legendary Nomeman, so that made picking a tad bit easier.

If there was anything to consider ironic about Celebi, it was the fact that he took quite a bit of interest in one of the Bird Deities, namely the Fire one- the exact opposite element of the psychic/grass, the one he was weak to, of course. Not that it particularly mattered, when it came down to it; The nomeman would be going to Moltres's shrine for a visit, not to get in a brawl with him. He'd probably lose that fight, if he did try.

Ecruteak and Hearthome were pretty far from each other, which meant that Celebi would be traveling for quite some time, even with the fact that he had wings. If he was one of the Eon duo, it would have taken considerably less time, but he wasn't, nor did he want to be- He couldn't imagine what life would be like if he were confined to only going forward in time, never back. He didn't want to waste most of the day with his travels so... He would fly there, then time-travel back while he was right in front of Moltres's door. It was a flawless plan, that would save him the work of actually knocking on a door, as Moltres would most likely see the bright green lights in fancy patterns that preceded Celebi actually appearing.

Marking the time it currently was, he took to the sky, time traveling back to the exact moment he had left his own home to visit the Bird when his bare feet touched the ground in front of Moltres's shrine. Flawless plan, now he could still enjoy this entire day.

Moltres

While he could see everything that was going on in his shrine, like most of the gods Moltres preferred to stay in their divine realm unless he was needed for one reason or another. He often appeared during the yearly Festival of Hearth, much to the town's delight. It didn't take much for the god to notice Celebi's light show. The shrine keepers watched in confusion before the brilliant flames announcing the arrival of their patron god erupted behind them.

The master of the shrine, an old and greying Blaziken, quickly told his apprentices to leave. This wasn't an informal occasion like the Festival. The young Braixen and Infernape weren't ready to be in the god's presence just yet. Apprentices gone, the old master eased himself into sitting seiza, head lowered and eyes closed. As the flames dissipated, Moltres' crimson hues studied the now ancient shrine, he was glad to see it spotless as always.

"It's been awhile since your last visit, Celebi." The deity's voice easily filled the hall. "What brings you to my doorstep?"

Celebi: Visiting Moltres

Oh, the confusion on the shrine keepers' faces when he appeared was as hilarious as always. This wasn't the first time he had surprised the Nomeman that kept Moltres's shrine, nor would it be the last. They had been just as confused in the future when he appeared at the shrine, just to time travel then and there.

"Has it? Well, I'm sorry I took so long, Moltres" In comparison to the God in front of him, Celebi's voice was soft, though clear as a bell. He'd never know just how long it had been since he visited somebody. His expession turned to a soft smile, "When was the last time I appeared, from your perception?"

A chuckle came from the green-haired man at Moltres's question, "Nothing important, as you may have already guessed. I'll admit, even from my perception of time, it's been quite some time since we talked, so I just wanted to catch up with you," His gaze shifted away for a second, "What a strange thought, for me, of all of us, to need to catch up with somebody."

His blue eyes fell on the Blaziken shrine master for a second, "Oh, I remember you when you were just a young Torchic as an apprentice here. You've grown so well."

Celebi was sinerely trying to compliment him, but it could have fallen short if the Blaziken thought too hard about the fact that Celebi was... A Celebi. It probably hadn't been long since he had seen the old Shrine Master as a Torchic. His attention went back to Moltres, "So, has anything interesting happened with you recently? If anything has, maybe I'll go and join you," was that a joke at the end, or would he seriously go back and join him? Only Arceus knew. Actually, scratch that, Arceus probably couldn't even tell what was going through his mind.

Moltres

Moltres tilted his head slightly at the question, it was unusual to hear from one like Celebi. "Mmm, perhaps three years now. It's hard to tell for someone like you. I wonder if Dialga can even keep track of your time travel anymore." He chuckled softly, knowing that she was likely pulling her hair out over the other god's antics.

At Celebi's compliment, the old Blaziken looked up at him with his deep blue eyes. "Ah . . . my thanks, Lord Celebi." A small clatter could be heard coming from a back room. The pair of apprentices were sent to prepare tea for visiting Nomemon, though it seemed things weren't going as planned. The master dipped into a low bow, "If my lords will excuse me . . ." He slowly stood, taking a few steps back before turning and leaving.

Crimson eyes watched Blaziken leave before Moltres quietly sighed. "Those two have so much energy, unfortunately they seem to cause more trouble than actually help." Of course the two meant well, there was no denying that. Even the current master had been similar back in his youth. Outside, the ringing of a bell could be heard. Likely one of the Nomemon living in Hearthome had just finished a prayer, or perhaps it was a traveler paying their respects? It was hard to say given they were in a separate building.

Moltres looked back to Celebi as he asked if he'd been up to anything as of late. "Unfortunately not," he folded his arms in front of his chest, "Arceus wants us remaining where he can find us for the next few weeks. It seems he's finally decided to move on with things." The god glanced aside to check for any of the shrine keepers before continuing. "This world will be reborn in fire soon enough."
