When Arceus ascended upon the world in fury, it sent the Nomeman in distress for a long period of time. Many were upset, feeling that their gods had turned against them. Others felt confused, baffled by Arceus's sudden warning. Some were relieved that the foretold destruction would not happen in their time. Others were scared for their children, wondering what would happen to their future descendents.

Within the next decade two other legendaries showed themselves before the world, explaining to the Nomeman that the reason of the destruction prophesized would be due to a war with the legendaries. These two legendaries, Xerneas and Jirachi, told the Nomeman that they would grant ancient abilities to any Nomeman who agreed to fight against the legendaries for them. Those who joined them became known as the Chikyu Boei Chimu, or the CBC. There headquarters were set in Lumiose City, and till this day they train to face off against the gods.

Now there is only a century left before this foretold destruction. Will the Legendaries cause a second world destruction? Or will our brave heroes figure out how to defeat their gods?

Xerneas is not at the moment an actual character right now, so she'll/he'll be an NPC for the time being, until some one signs up to play as him/her.

One more note. Those above the age of 50 at the start of the roleplay will have already been members for a while at the start of the roleplay. Anyone below the age of 50 will be one of the newest recruits.

Jirachi opened her sleepy eyes and floated off of her tiny bed. She floated down the stairs, sleep still lying heavily on her eyes. Today all the new recruits were supposed to be entering Lumiose City, CBC's headquarters. Yesterday she was working really hard to make sure they'd be impressed with the city right when they walked in. She had the help of the few older CBC members, but there weren't very many yet. Lumiose City was a big city. The majority of the city was made up of the CBC and its facilities, aside from a few locals in the city who the CBC was greatful to for allowing them to base themselves there.

It was more than a century that Xerneas and Jirachi had came to the mortal world and started living among the Nomeman. They had met many friends in there time there, as members of the CBC have come and gone. Jirachi had made sure to bring out all of the beautiful parts of the town, hanging colorful flags across the buildings. Every year, during this week, they would always get some where around 5-10 new recruits, and Jirachi would try her best to decorate the town to impress them.

Eventually the locals began to get involved, setting up booths in the middle of the city around the Lumiose Tower, selling masks and setting up traditional games, including a Sukui game and a Wa-nage game. It became known as the Safe World Festival, but it was only a festival that was known in Lumiose City, as well as by some of the retired members of CBC, who would occasionally visit for the festival.

Jirachi, who was someone always excited for festivals of any sort, always enjoyed helping set the town up. Once, she used her Wish powers to turn the Lumiose tower into a giant ferris wheel. However, afterwards she was scolded by Xerneas and told to clean up the mess she created all on her own.

Now that week started once more, so Jirachi, while extremely tired and wanting to go back to sleep, was ready to greet the newcomers.

She floated across the town, above the buildings and towards the Lumiose Station building, where many of them were supposed to arrive.

A young Mawile paced in her room, anxiously awaiting the item that was to arrive shortly at her house. The room was a simple, traditional styled room, with bamboo flooring and sliding doors, with one window adjacent to the door. The room was, for the most part, vacant, aside from a single, anxious Mawile. Most of her things were already being shipped to her new place of residency in Lumiose City.

She had received a message on her Holocaster not too long ago, from the CBC, congratulating her on her acceptance into the organization. It included the date she would receive her item, and the day after she got it would be the day of her arrival in Laverre city.

"Haname! A package arrived for you!" A voice cried from down the hallway.

Haname opened the door to her empty roomed and paced down the hall into the front area, obtaining the package from an old Mienshao. She looked at Haname with a smile as the Mawile took the package and bowed in respect before going back into her room

Haname opened the package to find a jewelry box within. Opening the velvet box with care, she peered inside to see a shimmering stone. She set the box down on the windowsill, and took the stone out to hold within her hands, examining it closely. She then put the stone back in the box, and went through the rest of the day preparing for her time with the CBC.

The next day, Haname woke early in the morning and left her home with kind good byes from all of her friends and family in Laverre city. She left without any regrets, and those at the shrine were proud of her for deciding to join.

Lumiose city wasn't to far of a walk, being one city over. Haname passed through the Laverre Nature Trail in order to get there. As soon as she stepped into the city, she noticed that the city was brimming with life. It seemed as if there was a festival of sorts going on. She walked towards the Lumiose Station, and stood there while waiting for Jirachi and the rest of the CBC Newcomers.

Kurama

Kurama let out a slow breath, his crimson hues focusing on the blue flame that flickered in front of him. The few small flames that rose from the gem sitting before him danced in the air. Hours of silent meditation was how the aging Ninetales spent his mornings with today being no different. Though . . . there was something different about today, wasn't there? A strange energy rising in the air, sparks of excitement buzzing through the gathering crowds. The Nomemon let out a low hum in thought. It's that time of year once again, isn't it?

The new hopeful initiates to the CBC would no doubt be arriving in Lumiose before long. Ah, but how long will they actually last? Once the festivities die down and the true work begins many don't seem to last the first week in their ranks. It was the same every year with how so many would come marching in, weaving these grandiose tales about their abilities. But where's all that skill when the time came to put it to use? Never in the pups that barked the loudest, that much was certain.

"Tch," one of his ears flicked in annoyance as the fire before him died out. I suppose Jirachi's expecting me to be a the station with the rest of them . . . He'd been in the CBC for a long time now, of course it was rather expected of the senior members to greet the newcomers to their organization. All but the few off on assignment would be there after all. What kind of impression would it leave if one of the oldest members barring the goddess herself didn't show? Shaking his head, Kurama pulled on his haori before heading out.

It was going to be an interesting few days, that much was certain.

She gathered most of everything the three of them would need for the travel to their new home in Lumious City. She never thought, in her wildest dreams, that they would move up in life to a new place. That they would all three be needed. She had almost resigned to her fate of being basically the mother to her two younger sisters. She now dared to hope for more. She dared to dream again. Of her future as a performer. She could sing, dance anything, just to perform on a stage in front of people. To be a person all her own without having to have someone relying on her. She packed their holograms invitation into their bags, one for each along with their own jewelry boxes that contained their items and they would each take one personal item. She knew Angel would take her surfboard and Selene would take her portable sewing machine. Serenity, on the other hand, she would take the one thing the other two didn't care much about since they had her, a locket with both their mother and their father. Once all the packing was done she started up on breakfast so that they could head out. She started up a simple breakfast pancakes with strawberry compote on top with a tall glass of orange juice to drink. Once the table had been set for three she made her way upstairs where her two little sisters slept in the same bed she shared with them, curled up to stay warm. She gently reached down and shook their shoulders with her cold hands.

"Come on you two, we don't have time for you to be laying about in bed all day." she said with a kind smile, "Come on, we have to get going so we can get to our new home today, remember?"

The young Vaporeon and Sylveon girls yawned and whimpered as they were taken from their realms of dreams by ice cold hands and a soft motherly voice. The youngest of the three, the sylveon, opened her big bright blue eyes first and stretched before she sat up in the bed. After her, the vaporeon sat up and rubbed her eyes of the sleep that remained. Serenity smiled as they both got up. The three of them went down and ate breakfast together after that Serenity helped both Angel and Selene brush their long hair and Selene helped all three of them with their wardrobe to present themselves on their first day in the city.

Eventually, all three sisters made it to the platform to take them to the gates of the city. Each girl with their bag in one hand and their personal item in the other. They, all three, took a deep breath before entering the city to be greeted by a glittering, bustling and life-filled town and it astounded them, especially since they were from the country near the water and it was a bit of a culture shock to say the least.

Ain wasn't scared, why would she be scared. She was moving way to fast to be scared. She was running, she liked running. It helped her focus and it had been a long run. Denying the train she had decided to trek to kalos on her won, having everything but the bare necessities shipped ahead of her. Now she was running to Lumiose city, which was looming over the horizon. Breaking for a scant minute to get some water. Taking short drafts from her water bottle while hopping from one leg to another she began to get nervous. What if she couldn't talk to anyone? What if they thought she was weird? Oh that would be just awful. Trying to not let the nervousness get the best of her she began to run again breezing through the city gates where she slowed to a walk as the city surrounded her. It was just so, busy! There were so many Nomemon around in it was all just so big and scary! "Oh dear," She said quietly, "Ohdearohdearohdear." She continued as she was pushed to the edge of the street edging around the corners and hugging walls. Holding onto her lucky seed bag for courage she managed to navigate her way to the station, which she entered, nervously looking around for any sign of what she was supposed to do next

UMBREONmo

Lumiose City once again buzzed with life, everyone prepping for the Safe World Festival in their own small way. In a way, it was one of Raka's favorite festivals with all the celebration and little of the crowd. Welcoming new members of the CBC wasn't exactly something he did, but it was one of his responsibilities. Fortunately, all he had to do was briefly show his face and the goddess would be appeased. More or less. He'd much rather be going on one of his lone walks than mingling with the newbies.

His feet barely made a sound on the cobblestone streets, unintentionally remaining in the shadows as instinct lead his steps. Certain corners of the city remained quiet, especially within the numerous small alleyways that ran between buildings. Lumiose was a city of lights, but brighter lights only meant harsher shadows. It was in these crevices where the shadow Noméman felt most at home. Raka would have preferred to stay here, watching the festivities from afar, but Jirachi would be far from pleased with him. He wasn't one to intentionally upset a goddess.

Using the fire exit of the building beside him, he climbed up to the roofs. Many nights he'd ventured up this path, but the Umbreon wasn't used to seeing it in the day. He did a clockwise circle of the perimeter, pleased as he found himself on top of the help center directly in front of the station. He climbed down a couple of floors and then jumped the rest of the way down, not even a glimmer of hesitation in his eyes.

Slow, sarcastic clapping greeted him as he landed, and his gaze met the cool orange gaze of a Houndoom. The station attendant had born witness to one of his failed attempts at the stunt two years prior, and since then Raka and him had shared a passing friendship. Raka bowed to him, earning himself a small chuckle from the usually stoic figure, then gave him a cheeky salute as he bid goodbye.

Just as he turned around, however, he almost bumped into three Nomémans who'd probably been audience to his antics. Rather than feel embarrassed, Raka grinned and said hello.
"Welcome to Lumiose. Are you all here to join the CBC?" Most of the locals were already used to his theatrics and none of their faces were familiar. Or, well, they kind of were, considering all of them were Eevee in origin. At least none were from his family; he wouldn't know what his mother would do if she caught wind he'd joined the CBC. He knew that it wouldn't end well for him, at least.

The day was shaping up to be pretty peaceful and brilliant. The city was more than any of the girls could have imagined. The youngest of the three, Selene, stared wide-eyed at everything the city had to offer. She had never seen such a place so bright and populated. "Sis, this place is amazing! It's so big and there are so many people! Their clothes! Oh my gosh, the clothes! So many colors! So many patterns! So many new styles! I can't wait to start living here!" the young Sylvean cheered and exclaimed with excitement and enthusiasm. Angel was a bit more collected than her younger sibling but she was still quite excited. "There are so many people. Which way is the beach? I can't wait to hit those waves. A city like this has got to have some killer waves!" the water elemented nomemon squeaked but didn't leave her elder sister's side. The surfboard under her arm and her bag over her adjacent shoulder. This was their first time in such a big city and such a bright place was almost more than they could handle.

Serenity, however, was quite calm and smiled at her younger sisters' excited expressions and how they cheered out that they were finally there and could spread their wings, figuratively speaking, of course. The eldest tucked some of her ice blue hair behind her ear and let the girls express their excitement but eventually had to reign them in. "Okay, okay, calm down you two. We want to make a good first impression, don't we?" She asked them and they both looked back to her and smiled and nodded their heads with glee. "I'm just as excited as you two are, but we have to make sure that we don't cause unnecessary trouble for anyone and do our best to make sure that we earn our place here."

Both girls nodded their heads in agreement and each of the three put a free hand in front of them and on top of one another in a team lock so that they were on the same page and pushing for the same goal. It was during this quiet little rally of sisters that they saw a dark shadow drop from a high floor of a building not very far off and when it landed right near them they could see that it was a boy. A male Umbreon who had dropped down from a few floors up of the building. All three of them smiled and clapped cheerfully as they were quite impressed with such a dangerous feet. Selene was most energetic and loud with her clapping and enthusiasm and Angel right behind her but Serenity kept her composure and smiled with a small laugh and an honest clap of entertainment and impression.

"That was amazing! Do it again!" Selene cheered and Angel just laughed at her sister's outburst. Serenity placed a hand on each of her younger siblings' heads to calm them down and reign them in again and they did almost instantly after glancing back up at the eldest of the three. The young Glaceon had such control over her younger siblings that it was quite surprising to have three Eevee evolution sisters being so calm and collected in such a way. Serenity smiled at the Umbreon male and replied to his question as she pulled out the hologram they were sent, "Yes, we are. To say the least, we were quite surprised to find this in our mailbox way out where we live." she said with a smile and a gentile voice.

Selene wanted to go and explore but Serenity had taught her well to keep close and never to run off on her own, so the young girl gripped Serenity's skirt lightly and looked around quite childishly. Angel slightly bounced on her toes as she wanted to get going and run off. She hated standing still and this slow pace was killing her. Se lightly tugged on Serenity's sleeve to get her attention. When the elder sister's attention and whispered a bit quietly, "Can we get going, please? I want to get into the water a.s.a.p. I'm dying here." she whined and Serenity just sighed and told her quite upset that her sister had not learned patents. "Angel, manners. We are being spoken to. Do not be rude. Remember, patience." Once her younger sister had been put into line she turned her attention back to the boy, "I'm sorry about that. I'm Serenity, and these are my two younger sisters, Angel, the middle child, and Selene, the youngest." She gestured each of them in turn as their name was spoken and smiled and waited for a response.

Arai Chu

Arai was a mixture of both excited and extremely nervous. She'd been accepted into the CBC! But, why her out of everyone else? Sure she'd applied and all that nice stuff, but she didn't actually expect to get accepted. She wasn't that strong, at all. Nor that brave, or useful. She was honestly shifting moreso from happy nervousness to nervous confusion. They'd obviously found something special about her, but she wasn't sure what. She wasn't exactly going to go against their decisions either, she didn't want to disrespect them especially after no one had forced her to apply. She just hoped they were right. She sighed as she reached the edge of the city, a nervous yet determined look on her face. "

You can do this Arai..you were chosen for a reason." She mumbled to herself, not really believing it for a second.

With that she carefully ran through the streets to the CBC HQ building, not bothering to take time to take in the beautiful sight that was the city in favor of not being late. It didn't take her to long to reach the building, obviously slowing down as she neared it. She hung to the back, simply observing everyone talk from afar. If she was spoken to she'd approach and talk to them, otherwise she'd remain silent for now as she calmed herself down.

Pietra

The crowd parted around Pietra as she strode through the Lumiose city streets. She didn't seem to notice the how much she intimidated the crowd around her as they seemed to shy away from the tall, heavily armed Noméman for some reason. Her head swiveled right and left as she looked for her best friend. Skittles had gotten distracted and wondered off, probably looking at something shiny. She wasn't exactly surprised, it was Skittles. But tracking her friend down was a bit of a chore. After almost a full loop of the city she arrived at the station again and sighed. Then she raised her hand to her mouth took a deep breath and called out, "Skiiittles! Where are you!? I have candy!"

MewMew: Mew Island

MewMew was in a pretty bad mood this morning. Not only were people fully believing the rumors that she was evil as heck and was plotting to end the world, but more importantly her muffins were stolen. She wasn't sure who did it, but she did know they were missing. Not a single muffin left in her house, at all. Not a one. Which meant she'd either have to make her own or go to the store; none of which she wanted to do. She DID know she'd be kicking the butt of whoever decided it was a good idea to steal her muffins. She'd more than likely remain mad until she got a muffin. Any kind of muffin, really. She just wasn't her in the morning without a muffin and coffee. Coffee was optional, though preferred. Thus she pretty much started tearing her house apart, just incase she misplaced them. Giving up a few minutes later she sighed, hovering lazily above her table. "
Stupid muffin thieves, stealing my muffins. They're gunna get it when I get 'em." She mumbled tiredly to herself.

Giving up and deciding she'd make the effort, she floated to the ground and walked out of her house towards the small village on Mew Island(I'd assume there was one? d:). Her goal? Muffins. Sub-goal? Finding the muffin thief.

CHANDELUREmo

A pale figure looked out the window, golden eyes studying the festivities below. Three years since she'd joined the famed company, but she still could not understand the reasoning behind the extravagant fanfare of welcoming new members. Very few people were worth celebrating, herself one of them, but even she did not appreciate this level of noise. Her hometown wasn't too big on festivals, with only two or three throughout the year but none of them were the scale of this simple action.

And to think, World Safe Day was one of the smaller ones. She couldn't even begin to imagine the scale of the famous ones. Lure always volunteered to go on a mission whenever one of them came around. Unfortunately, World Safe Day was one of those that she simply couldn't manage to dodge, too many of their own members wanting to avoid the rather boring task of mentoring the new members. At least Lure never worried about that; within a day any member who asked for her was crying for a new veteran to teach them.

Unfortunately, it was customary for available personnel to show themselves at least once. With a sigh, she took her parasol and made her way downstairs, exiting her apartment building with the backdoor leading to the alleys. The thought of getting to the station via the hidden paths was tempting, but she was quick to reject it. As much as she would have preferred its darkness, she hadn't done enough exploring of Lumiose to confidently navigate its side streets. The only person she knew who could teach her was
that Umbreon and heaven forbid that she ever ask that idiot for help.

She followed the familiar alley to Estival Avenue, and paused as she saw a familiar figure approaching as they walked the path. The Chandelure raised a gloved hand in greeting, then opened her parasol as she fell in pace beside the Ninetales.

"Good morning to you, Kurama." Old grouch that he was, Lure at least knew to respect her elders. She wasn't sure of his opinion of her, but quite frankly, she didn't care if he didn't like her. If he decided to reject her in public she wasn't afraid to use her parasol to give him a good whack on the head and a lesson on basic manners.

The parasol twirled overhead as she continued to make idle talk with the Noméman.
"New members again... I never quite understood the fanfare behind it." The crowd around them milled about, a select few pausing their task to give them a quick greeting. "Most don't even recall who the members are."

Ginette le Gardevoir

gardevoir_gijinka_by_hiioji-d8a92pi.jpg
Location: Station

Mood: Apprehensive/Excited

Interacting with: Eevee Trio (@SerenityAngel) Raka (@monopoisoner)
Now, normally, on a day like today, Ginette would be anywhere but a city- she was much more comfortable among the rolling flowers in her hometown of Verdanturf Town, and the hustle and bustle of places like this always made her anxious. But today, she had a job to do in Lumiose City, and by darn, she was going to do it.

It had been a long train ride, which had come after a long boat ride, which had come after a very, very, long walk. Still, she had never been to Kalos, and something about it just seemed to suit her. So far, at least. Her family was originally Kalosian, but she had never left Hoenn before today. It was going to be interesting working in the region of her descent. Maybe she'd even meet some extended family while she was here.

But enough of that silly dreaming, the train was ready to debark, and she had places to be.

Holding the small brown suitcase she carried with her everywhere (it contained all her earthly possession), she stepped off the train, looking around for what might possibly be the group that she was supposed to meet. They had to be around here somewhere. Surely they hadn't left already? She had just ridden in all the way from the Hoenn region, surely they hadn't forgotten her.

She spotted a group of a few Noneman gathered nearby in the station- maybe they were her entourage? Or maybe they were a meeting of an old family of Eeevee's? But still- it wouldn't hurt to check.

She let out a small breath. Just be pleasant, she told herself.

She approached the group.
"Um, excuse me, I don't mean to bother you, but I'm looking for the Chikyu Boei Chimu? I was supposed to be meeting them here, but I'm not sure where they are- have you seen them?"

She turned to the 3 other Eevee Evolutions and nodded quickly at them- they were a lovely group, for certain. They had a certain grace about them that she couldn't help but admire.

  • A girl wearing red with a odd formation of dots and rings strewn about her outfit was wandering around a small isolated shop, a hobby store of sorts with a few hand made souvenirs and the like she gazed over, just looking at them curiously and asking what one was, or what another was and so fourth. The girl nodding with what responses she had before bumbling along the store looking at the variety of items, a lot of pictures littered about too, Skittles wondered if she'd be able to see those soon sometime. Suddenly she perked up, hearing the voice of a familiar individual, offering candy! Skittles was a utter fan of sweets, and with that simple mentioning of the sugar covered treats she felt a mild twinge of hunger to get some herself.

"Candy?!" she called out, running out from the store tumbling over a small ledge, catching herself and running over towards the source of the sound. Running over towards Peitra, promptly trying to stop herself but had wound up doing so by crashing against the taller girl, not that it would really affect either. With shining eyes she looked up towards her, exclaiming out "Pie pie! you have candy? Ooooh! what kind?" She did indeed seem eager to have a bit of a taste of the sweet treats right now, the perfect bait to drag out Skittles from whatever shiny thing she might have seen.

"Let's see. I went there...then I went there...then I went there...so than that means I'm at the the station! Yes!" Koi eagerly looked up from his map and looked around, yet frowned. This looked more like a street than a station. Looking at his map, he groaned. "What?! B-But I took the alleyway! How did I end up in es...es..." Stopping he slowly spelled out the word before his eyes widened. "How did I end up in estrial avenue avenue?!" He looked around, already confused by the crowds of people and signs. This was WAY diffrent from Johto! "O-Ok, keep it together, koi." He muttered, wiping away the tears in his eyes, sad he messed up again. "I'll just have to ask for directions! Yeah!" Glaring at the map, he crumbled it up and threw it in a trash can. "A strong guy like me doesn't really need a map anyways."

Looking around, he slowly began to make his way down the avenue, analyzing everything with sparkly eyes. This place was amazing! It was bigger than his whole village back at home! And here he was, in the middle (He thinks?) of it all! Not really paying attention to where he was going, he had soon bumped into someone, causing him to stumble back and fall on his butt. "Sorry!" He looked up at the ninetales he had bumped into, staring at him in awe. He never saw a ninetales before! "Oh!" Quicky getting back up, he dusted himself off and stared up at him and his friend. "Hey, do you guys know where the station is? That's where the CBC meeting is!" He said matter-of-factly. He then puffed out his chest. "This is finally my chance to be a member! I have to get there before all the spots fill up!" He blinked and then exhaled. "So, can you help a fellow strong nomeman out?"

Kurama

Kurama glanced to the handful of stands that had already been set up along the streets. He returned the occasional polite nod or good morning as he passed some shops. The bakery smelling as wonderful as always. Why did bread have to smell so good when it was baking? "Hm?" His ears rotated towards Lure as she greeted him, eyes following soon after. "Good morning to you as well, Miss Lure." The Ninetales offered her a soft smile as she approached; a genuine smile.

Sure, he may have a (deserving) reputation as an old grouch, but he was always particularly caring to the few that had earned his respect. Lure just happened to be among those numbers. He listened quietly to the musings of the Chandelure walking alongside him before nodding in agreement. "It actually wasn't as big of an event when I first joined, though I think it reached the size it is now maybe a year before you did . . . I'm not sure." He gave a slight shrug before saying good morning to a group of Vulpix passing by. In a few days he'd actually be leading a Rebirth Ceremony for one of them. Part of an old tradition from their home on Cinnabar Island.

"Though I will admit for most of the new recruits, the ceremony offers some encouragement. Being welcomed by many of the town you'll now be living in does offer its solace." His crimson hues shifted over towards Lure, "After all, for most of them this is their first time ever setting foot outside of their Region. For some, it's the first time they've even left their hometown." That had actually been the case for Kurama when he'd set out for Lumiose. Though growing up on a small, rather isolated island tended to have that effect . . .

The old fox stumbled forward a couple steps after someone ran right into his back. The idiot even stepped on one of his tails! Unconsciously, a quiet growl escaped his throat as he turned to look at whoever had run into him. Kurama glowered down at the Magicarp as the kid scrambled to his feet.

Wait . . . ?

Did this kid really just say he was one of the new CBC recruits?

Was Lady Jirachi sleep approving application again . . . ? Suppressing an annoyed groan, he gave a slight nod. Though a frown was still apparent on his face. "Yes, we do know where the station is. You're speaking to two senior members of the Chikyu Boei Chimu." It wasn't really expected for the kid to notice, not like they had uniforms or anything like that. "Before either of us even point you in the direction of the station," Kurama held out a clawed hand, "Care to show me your holocaster?" The old fox was half tempted just to point the kid in the wrong direction regardless. Foxes were notorious for their tricks after all.

  • Pietra

    tyranitar.png

Pietra lowered her arm and waited. Her honed senses focused in on the sounds of the festival, her long years of combat experience, training and knowing exactly what a candy-desiring Skittles sounded like. That exact tumble. "Three..." She muttered, "Two...one..." And at the count of zero Skittles smashed into her. The smaller girl smashed into Pietra's chest making the taller girl sigh. As much as she liked Skittles the girl was, bracing. "I have a huge bag for you at home to, but we need to go greet the recruits right now." She put the first candy in Skittles' hand and nudged her ahead, towards the station.

The two walked to the station slowly as Pietra nudged Skittles back into focus every once in a while, grabbing her collar as necessary. They arrived outside the station after a short walk and Pietra saw two other members of CBC Kurama and Lure, as well as a magikarp?

"Kurama. Lure." She greeted, "And its Koi right?" She recognized him from the new members list. "Are all the new recruits here?"

"Right! Holocaster!'

Koi dug in his pocket before he slowly began to frown. "Y-Yeah! ...H-Holocaster!" Koi slowly took his hand out of his pocket and looked around nervously. "B-Because I-I TOTALLY have that!" HE DIDN'T HAVE IT! Where was it?! Where was it?! He could've sworn it was in his pocket when he...left...oh no. He left it AT HOME! Koi felt the tears begin to come, causing him to try and calm himself. He couldn't cry now! Not in front of these guys, who were ALSO seniors of the CBC. "U-Uh...U-Uh..."

As if all things holy had sensed this dire time, two nomemen suddenly came up and began to talk to them. When one of them adressed him, he stiffened and laughed. "Yeah! That's me!" Koi laughed nervously. This was horrible! What if they tell the CBC?! What if they don't accept him?! This was his dream! He couldn't just go out like this!

UMBREONmo

The reaction of the Sylveon made him chuckle, bringing forth memories of his family. His sister once behaved the exact same way, until she grew up and gave him barb for barb. Raka slightly bent down so it would be easier for the two younger girls to meet his eye level. "As it so happens, I'm in the CBC, and there's a water training facility at HQ perfect for you." He straightened up after, meeting the clear gaze of the eldest. It was clear her siblings were getting antsy and while he could sympathize with the younger ones', he'd need to follow protocol. "Raka. I'd bring you to the HQ right now, but we're waiting for Jirachi." The Umbreon wasn't expecting Xerneas to show, but weirder things have happened.

Within the span of a few moments, another Noméman approached his small entourage and Raka was left wondering if he had a CBC Help Desk sign plastered over his head. He wouldn't put it past their esteemed goddess. He glanced up once towards the sky just to check before paying attention to the newcomer.
"You're at the right place, these three are with you."

With a mental sigh, he introduced himself once again, this time to the Gardevoir who'd just arrived.
"Raka's my name. Other members should be arriving -" The familiar sound of heavy boots and clanking metal carried through the muted murmurs of the crowd, who'd quieted down to observe the giant walking amongst them. He raised his hand to wave; and was completely ignored as the Wailord headed straight inside. "Speaking of there's one - and he walks right by me. Typical. I'm not female nor a shiny in his preferred sense of the word." In reality, he knew that Tsunami was likely focused on getting to the station. He had a tendency to forget a lot of things whenever he was treasure hunting. Oh well.

Arai Chu

Arai stayed silent while a few of the new recruits like herself spoke, simply observing and seeing who she might get along with and who seemed stand-offish. So far all of the people there seemed relatively nice and non-threatening, that was a plus. A few of them seemed just as nervous as she was, if not more-so. She was still very happy to be here though, as unexpected as it was for her to be accepted. She just hoped she could actually live up to their expectations and hoped they didn't expect her to be some kind of super soldier. Soon enough some massive Nomemon came up to them, questioning who they were. Or rather if they were recruits. Arai simply stared up at him, frozen in a mix of fear and awe. He was so huge! Compared to her size he was a freaking mountain. Nevertheless she slowly nodded, "Y-Yeah. Hi." She replied. Mostly so he wouldn't squish her if she didn't answer or something.

Serenity made sure to smile as kindly and gently as she could to make a good first impression. She didn't want their fellow residence to think of them as rude or childish. That would weigh quite heavily on her mind as she was her younger sisters' guardian and represented all three of them. To have someone thinking bad of them would break her heart and weigh more on her mind from worry about how her sisters would fair. Her ice colored eyes were quite mature and she seemed like the brains and beauty of the group but that was mostly due to her age and position in the family as the soul bread winner.

When the Umbreon gave his name Serenity smiled and replied politely, "It's nice to meet you, Raka." she replied and she smiled as he seemed to understand her younger sisters and even managed to get Angel a little more excited to be here. To the mention of a water training facility Angel felt like she could just explode with excitement and this caused Serenity to giggle, "Oh dear, now I'll never get her out of the water."

"Can we go? Can we go now? I wanna go! Let's go, please! I wanna go! Let's go! Please, please, please, please!? Can we go?" Angel asked over and over again, tugging on Serenity's sleeves and jumping a little onto her toes to show her excitement. Serenity looked at Raka a bit tiredly, "You just had to get her riled up, didn't you? Just had to make my job harder, huh?" she said with a playful smile and looked back to Angel, "Yes we can go, but we have to wait and be patient. Remember, best foot forward and that includes control, so just hold off on the energy explosion till we get to the water, okay?" Angel sighed and pouted that they weren't going directly to the facility and waited like a good girl.

When the lady Gardevoir approached them all three girls smiled brightly in greeting. Selene's eyes began to sparkle as she set eyes upon the lovely lady in such elegant clothes, "Oh wow! What a beautiful dress! It's amazing! The light green colors! The red trim accents! The white soft fabric! The careful stitching! It's such an exquisite dress! Can I ask who made it for you? Please? You simply must tell me! I want to make one of my own!" She cheered and squealed over such fashion. She was definitely a designer at heartand she could not control herself when she sees something she likes and wants to create. It was a bad habit that Serenity just couldn't manage to break, no mater how hard she tried.

"Selene! That's very rude to raise your voice like that and to ask so many question right off the bat, and especially without introducing yourself first. I raised you better than that, didn't I?" Serenity asked sternly and slightly angry with her youngest sister for being so forward without any context to a stranger. She then bowed to the Gardevoir and begged for forgiveness for her sister's outburst, "I am so, very sorry, miss. Please forgive my little sister. She is still very young and has not yet learned restraint, though she knows manners. I'm Serenity, the little one that jumped you was my youngest sister, Selene. The antsy one over here that looks like she wants to run off, is Angel. It's a pleasure to meet you. Again, I apologize for my sister's behavior, she just can't really restrain herself when it comes to fashion."

When the massive wailord walked by them she was a bit surprised and smiled and giggled at Raka's comment about the passer-by. "Well, I must say, you do have quite a collection of personalities here. It's going to take some getting used to. That is for certain." She giggled and was continually amused by the goings on so far. She looked at the streets and it looked like some kind of festival was going on so she had to ask. "Um, did we come at a bad time? Is there a festival going on? We could come back." she didn't want them to be seen as rude for intruding during a festival or cultural happening that they were not invited to, let alone meant to see.

Jirachi continued to float leisurely towards the Lumiose Station, her arms outstretched as she did so, feeling the wind with her fingers. She took her time getting there until she saw a certain umbreon already there. Pleasantly surprised to see him already opening up to three Nomeman, Jirachi was just that much more ecstatic for the welcoming of the new pokemon, so she sped up a bit.

She stopped right above the crowd of new members, positioned in a way that she was merely a silhouette at the moment.

"Wish!" She opened her arms, turning her palms out towards the rookies. A shower of sparkling stars poured out from her empty palms, shattering into a shimmering dust and dissolving like snow above their heads. She then landed on the ground, with a lightness to her steps, showing her grace and poise with a strange pride.

"Greetings, young ones!" She greeted enthusiastically, "Welcome to the CBC! I'm sure you all have many many questions right now, but first, I'm gonna have to give you all your very first mission as members of the CBC. I guess it's a bit early to start dealing out missions, but I'm sure you'll find this one is easy and fun! The mission is: I want you all to get to know eachother, as well as the other members of the CBC. We don't really have any fancy uniforms or anything, so it might be hard to find them all. That means you'll also probably end up meeting some of the locals around here, but that would still benefit you, for the locals around here are made up of the most CBC-supportive people Xerneas and I have come to know so far."

"Right now Lumiose City is in Festival mode," Jirachi told them, "The festival is called, 'Safe World Festival,' and it lasts an entire week. The festival is all about you guys, but you'll learn more about all that official stuff later tonight, cause Xerneas and I are gonna tell everyone later tonight at the tower in the center of the city. Xerneas will not be speaking very much, because at the moment she is not... Feeling too well. However, don't worry about that, and have fun for now! Do not miss the speech I'm gonna give tonight though, cause then you might have a hard time finding your rooms!"

"I would like to speak to all of you who received a mega stone though,"
Jirachi added, "Everyone else is for now dismissed, but I was told that this is too important to wait till tomorrow to discuss, and I'm supposed to talk to you all separately from the rest. For those of you who don't know exactly what I'm talking about, which I'm sure is the majority of you, you should've received a jewelry box. Inside that jewelry box is a stone, each with a different name, because that's just how it works."

Ginette le Gardevoir

gardevoir_gijinka_by_hiioji-d8a92pi.jpg
Location: Station

Mood: Apprehensive/Excited

Interacting with: Eevee Trio (@SerenityAngel) Raka (@monopoisoner) Jirachi (@Shortcake)
Ginette had always had a knack for picking up others emotions, and something told her Raka was not exactly enthusiastic to have been saddled with all of them. "Oh, thank you- I'm so easily turned around in places like. I could have sworn for half a moment that the four of you were family. I'm Ginette, and I'm from Hoenn." Her attention was pulled away from the brooding Umbreon by one of the three girls screaming- The Slyveon.

"Oh this old thing?" She looked down at her dress, and for a moment, her pleasant smile faltered. "My mother made it for me, when I last evolved." She forced the grin back on her face.

When the eldest of the 3 apologized, Ginette merely waved it off.
"It's no trouble at all- I wear this dress all the time for good reason. It's my favourite. It's nice to meet the 3 of you, as well. Will you be my new coworkers? I'll be delighted to get to know you better." The three of them seemed like an energetic bunch, and she didn't envy Raka, who seemed to be stuck with them- something told her she had more patience for such characters than he might.

The air around them filled with sparkles, and Ginette turned to see Jirachi, the same Nonemon she recognized from the message she had recieved on the Holo-caster. Seemed all the hyper activity in the square was actually for their arrival. How charming. She ought to take some time to explore- maybe take those sisters with her.

"I would like to speak to all of you who received a mega stone though,"
Jirachi said, and this time, Ginette's face visibly fell. She was busy already? But there was so much to do, so much positivity in the air, she couldn't just miss it- No, I do have to, she told herself. She was here for a reason.

She turned to Raka, Serenity, Angel, and Selene.
"I'm afraid duty calls." She adjusted the Soothe Bow on her bodice, to which she had already attached the Gardevoirite she had received the day before. "If we see each other at the festival, we shall have to chat more." With a small curtsy, she turned, and walked as close to Jirachi as she could manage.

"Ah, Madame Jirachi?" She gave a small wave, unsure of how to address her new employer.
