EmberYouth
almost always confused
» I'm 27, and have been roleplaying on and off for almost 7 years now. I'd taken a long hiatus of ~2 years, but now I'm back and ready to RP.
» I can write at least two decent sized paragraphs per post. In case of writer's block, one paragraph.
» I have been in a lot of MxF roleplays in the past, so currently I'm craving MxM and FxF. Although it will be fine if you have any non-gender-conforming characters!
» I don't mind dark themes and don't really have any triggers, but will let you know if something does trigger me unexpectedly.
» Familiar with playing both genders, but willing to double if you want. (Although my preference will still be same-sex relationships)
» I play only OCs, I don't like messing with canon characters. This also means that I'm open to only OC x OC roleplays.
» I almost always use anime faceclaims, but I'm fine just describing my characters' looks as well.
» Love including romance in all plots, but whether it should be the main focus of the roleplay depends on the plot. I have no problem with zero romance, either, there's nothing wrong with platonic relationships.
» I am comfortable RPing in a thread or PM, but I'm afraid not on Discord, email or Docs.
» Your posts don't have to be super huge or even mirror my length, I just need something good to work with; possibly a couple paragraphs per response? Quality > quantity. No one liners.
» I don't really have a specific minimum age requirement for my partner, it depends on how comfortable you are with my age.
» No going against the rules of RPN, and no godmodding or perfect characters. We as humans have flaws, so why can't our characters?
» I don't expect super quick responses, but at least once in a couple days would be nice; even once a week is fine. Please let me know if you're going to be busy, or even if you want to drop the RP for whatever reason.
» Since I'm pretty bad at plotting and world-building, it'd be nice if you could help me plot. Let's both work together to make this last long!
» Good command over the English language. No perfection required, but please be familiar with basic grammar rules.
» Willingness to have OOC banter with me. I'm actually pretty talkative online, and despite my somewhat stoic manner of writing, am quite chill once I get to know a person more.
» Having a CS isn't a must, I don't mind if I found out more about your character(s) through the RP itself.
» What kind of faceclaim you use is up to you! Anime, realistic, dollmaker, I don't mind any.
I'm going to say this right off the bat, I enjoy quite a lot of movies/shows/books, but very few of them are the ones I'd actually want to RP. I prefer doubling for all of these, no specific genders expected.
» Project Sekai - Four Japanese characters (since, well, it's a Japanese game based in Japan) who will end up having the same goal in life, and the Vocaloids will help them get together. This one might not be too much of a long-term RP, but honestly it depends.
» ReLIFE - I haven't watched the anime, but I've read the manga/webtoon twice. It would be better if you know the lore of this series, so that it will be easier for both of us.
»RWBY - it doesn't have to have romance, and doubling will help us have one full team. I don't have a specific plot in mind, but I will be basing it in Haven Academy, Mistral. I don't want the usually overused 'being flung by Oz into the air and fighting monsters in the Emerald Forest' initiation ritual. I want something new. Please.
» Vampire Academy - a book series very dear to my heart, and I've always wanted to RP it someday. Sadly I have yet to find anyone else who is interested in it.
» Friends to enemies/frenemies to lovers (You heard that right, not enemies to friends, the other way round. Helps spice things up!)
» Childhood friends to lovers (as cliché as this is, I crave it a lot sometimes).
» Fake dating (my guilty pleasure trope).
» Single parent x parent's child's teacher (I want some kind of angst in this, I don't know, just. Drama. Lots of drama, and maybe even some misunderstandings).
» Youtubers AU - where two Youtubers with completely different content are asked by some fans to collab, and they realise it actually turned out pretty well. (I'm not too sure, I did say I'm bad at plotting...)
» Mystery or adventure of some kind (once again, I'll need help with the plot for this).
» Something specifically LGBTQ+, like dealing with one's feelings, sexuality, coming out (basically Love, Victor in a nutshell).
Feel free to PM me if anything interests you, or if you have a good plot you'd want to try out with me!
