Blair Lillian-Darrow
Blair didn't crack a smile, still gripping the counter and ducking her head, deflated.
"Yea." She said simply, taking the test and tossing it into the trash. "What the hell is wrong with us? We're raising our children in the wild, where our oldest son has to fight every day to protect himself and us. Don't think I haven't seen his scars, because I have!" She demanded.
Angel Darrow
Angel squeezed his brother for a moment, eyes following their parents. "I'm going to check on them. You guys... Stay here." He ordered, jogging after his father. He walked in just before his mother tossed the test, and heard her words before she saw him. His jaw was clenched, eyes flaming.
"Are you fucking kidding me?" He growled in a low voice. "You two are too stupid to wrap your shit up?!" He bellowed, not caring that they were his parents. His father looked thrilled, his mother looked almost as pissed as Angel. "You two are a fucking train wreck." He snarled, walking out and slamming the bathroom door behind him.
Life was hard enough. He already had to save Leo's ass every other day, his mother had lost her fighting ability after years of disuse. Angel was the guardian, he was all they had. He didn't want to protect a fucking baby. He walked past Claire and Leo without a word, fury radiating off of him. He already had the knife in his hand, hoping Leo wouldn't see it.
