Kqidons and Bowe simply land on a threeway hallway. Nothing too spectacular. 'Hm... which way do we go?' Kqidons thought to herself, looking at the hallways.
Bowe looked around, and her first instinct was to try and sniff out any peculiar smells that she could chase up. It looked a little weird, and probably sounded it as well, but it worked before - to heck if it won't work now.

Talia made a face, and mouthed an ‘ew’. She looked to Rewby, and smiled a bit. “These things are creepy. Wanna light ‘em up?” She asked.

Lux nodded in agreement. His trained and careful eyes were scanning the whole place, taking in the sight of this alien hive. The hatching grounds were one of the places he wanted to see, second only to the Queen.
As they quietly venture out in the hatching grounds, giving Lux a chance to briefly study the Formic eggs, they heard walking. On instinct, Susan grabbed Lux by his arm and pushes him to a nearby hiding spot, where they saw a Formic drone coming by to check on the eggs.

Nothing so far, aside from the putrid scent... actually, it isn't some normal nasty scent. It kinda smells like... flesh?

Rewby turned to Talia, curious. "You have a flamethrower or something?"

Bowe, upon smelling it, was a bit confused. "Ewww... Bowe smells flesh... It stinks..." She commented honestly, regretting her decision practically immediately. Still, where could it lead to...?

Talia laughed for a moment, before showing Rewby her hand. On it were three little round metal pieces. “Just little explosives.”

Lux was closely studying the eggs when Susan pulled him aside. He was about to protest, but then saw why she did.

Spinning her head to Bowe, Kqidons looked at the direction Bowe is staring. “Where?” She asked.
Talia laughed for a moment, before showing Rewby her hand. On it were three little round metal pieces. “Just little explosives.”
Rewby carefully took one of the explosive discs and examined them. “Do these models actually cause fires?” She asked.
Lux was closely studying the eggs when Susan pulled him aside. He was about to protest, but then saw why she did.
The drone, not noticing the duo due to their camouflaging stench, was carefully eyeing at the little and bigger eggs until it divert its focus on an egg stuck onto the wall; it was hatching. The egg pulsates as the infantile drone tries to escape from its soft shell, where it eventually succeeds and fall onto the floor. It looked like a little black larva with legs. The drone the proceeds to carefully grab the larva and makes it way to an exit, seemingly so it can transport the infant Formic into a nursery.

Talia flinched slightly when Rewby took one of them, and almost reached to take it back. Yes. This is a highly dangerous compound. Be careful with it.” She said.

Rewby's eye widens at her response. "Triacetone triperoxide? Oh, these must be the real deal explosives, huh?" She said as she took a small step back.

Lux studied the process carefully. He didn't miss a detail, and when the coast was clear, moved from their hiding spot to the eggs. He found each example of the process. Early-stage, middle stage, and ready to hatch. He lightly touched and scanned them all for data to use later, and for recorded history's sake. When he was satisfied, he looked at Susan, nodded, and waited for her to tell him which way to go to blow up the exits for the drones.

Talia nodded, and tossed one up in the air before catching it, which was very dangerous. “Probably shouldn’t do stuff like that though.”

Spinning her head to Bowe, Kqidons looked at the direction Bowe is staring. “Where?” She asked.
Bowe took a deep breath and (much to her reluctance) tried to identify where this was coming from; just took another quick smell of the surroundings.

//ja, ja. I'm getting there.

Susan walked out alongside Lux and, while waiting for him to finish studying the Formic eggs and their life cycle, pulls out a couple of small disc-shaped land mines and bombs and begins eyeing around the area for suitable places to put them. Once he is done, Susan shows him the explosives.
Talia nodded, and tossed one up in the air before catching it, which was very dangerous. “Probably shouldn’t do stuff like that though.”
Rewby gasped and cowered when Talia tossed the highly-reactive explosive onto the air. When it miraculously didn’t go off, she glares at her.
Bowe took a deep breath and (much to her reluctance) tried to identify where this was coming from; just took another quick smell of the surroundings.
After a quick second, she identified the location of the smell. Onto the left hallway of the hive. The first step to finding the location of the fleshy scent.

Lux saw the explosives, and took a few from her, going to the center of the eggs, placing two in there, then going to the main structural pillars that held up the ceiling. He used his knife, and carved out some indents so he could put the explosives in the pillars so it would shatter and cause a total collapse.

Talia smiled at Rewby’s reaction, and looked at them closer. “So? Light the place up?” She asked, a small glint if mischief in her eyes.

Bowe nodded. "It's down here, the left!" Bowe said, nodding and going ahead, hoping Kqidons would rationally follow.

Rewby nodded with a slightly concerned look on her face. "Alright. Just be careful." Rewby warned.

Susan was working alongside Lux to plant the explosives onto the various parts of the hatchery, though she is covering them back up with chunks of the surrounding hive to hide them. When she saw Lux doing the same, she approached him and tapped on his shoulder to get his attention, holding a random chunk of the hive.
Bowe nodded. "It's down here, the left!" Bowe said, nodding and going ahead, hoping Kqidons would rationally follow.
"Hey, WAIT!" Kqidons screamed as she rushes in to follow along with Bowe.

Talia nodded, and started placing the little bombs in different spaces fairly far away from each other. She then backed up, and grabbed two knives to start a spark. “Would you like to do the honors?” She asked Rewby, being dramatically and offering the knives to her. “Once Fire even gets close to those things, pop goes the explosives.” She said with a grin.

"Sure," Rewby said, unsure. She took Talia's knives and seemed a little hesitant to start the spark. She wasn't worried about her wellbeing; her crystal body can and will survive the violent explosive. She's worried about Talia, her friend. She isn't as strong as herself and Rewby was worried about the possibility of Talia getting severely burned from the resulting explosion. However, when she heard the walking of a couple of Formic drones, she clashed the knives on instinct, creating a spark.

After Lux put got all the bombs in, he felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned to see what it was she needed.

The bombs went off at the first hint of a fire, and Talia did a tuck and roll, bringing out her shield. She laughed a bit as the bombs went off, and grinned to Rewby.
