Futuristic Fate of the Stars of Life (EPISODE 4: Formic Apocalypse)

After Lux put got all the bombs in, he felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned to see what it was she needed.

She covers one of the explosives with the slop from the hive, trying to tell Lux, in a nonverbal way, to hide the explosives. Her reasoning why is unknown to Lux, at the moment.

Bowe slowed down, but kept heading towards the source she could smell.

Eventually, through a bit of running, they find themselves in a food storage hall. There’s Martian bodies and exposed flesh EVERYWHERE; while most of them are stored in little chambers around the walls, a lot of them are also left hanging on the floors, as Formic workers carefully grab the Martian corpses and place them into empty chambers. Though she flinched at the sight a little, Kqidons had seen worse.

The bombs went off at the first hint of a fire, and Talia did a tuck and roll, bringing out her shield. She laughed a bit as the bombs went off, and grinned to Rewby.

The force from the resulting explosion sent Rewby flying in the air until she descends and roll to the ground. She was, by no means, harmed, though, as she begins to stand back up with little fatigue.

Lux watches her cover the explosive, then looks back at his own explosives. He looked back, then understood that she wants him to hide them. He scooped some goop up off of the wall, and quickly covered the bombs in the disgusting compound.

Talia laughed a bit, and walked over to Rewby to help her up. “You good there?” She asked with a grin.

As Susan assisted Lux in hiding the rest of the explosives, she heard the sounds of approaching Formics. Turning to Lux, she snapped her fingers to signal Lux to hurry up. Unfortunately, this also caught the attention of the Formic drones and began to move quicker.

Talia laughed a bit, and walked over to Rewby to help her up. “You good there?” She asked with a grin.

Laughing a little herself, Rewby accepted Talia’s help up. “Yeah, I’m good.” Rewby assured the Lunarim bounty hunter. “How’d you managed to survive the explosion?”

Talia shrugged, and knocked on her shield. “It protected me. As long as it’s not expanded, it doesn’t take up much of my energy. Plus, I backed up.” She said.

Bowe saw and tried her best to hold in her disgust. "Eww..." She said after a while, a look of extreme disgust lighting her face up a bit too well. "This is 'not' the time for this." She commented, shaking her head and trying to see where to go from here, a little bit clueless.

As Susan assisted Lux in hiding the rest of the explosives, she heard the sounds of approaching Formics. Turning to Lux, she snapped her fingers to signal Lux to hurry up. Unfortunately, this also caught the attention of the Formic drones and began to move quicker.

Lux perked up at the snap of Susan, and looked over at her as he hid the last bomb. He then heard the sounds of approaching Formic Drones, and nodded. He dashed right to her side, then pointed at a path further down that had a hole in the ceiling they could hide in.

Rewby nods in acknowledgment before turning her head to the ruins of the hatchery. It is absolutely ABLAZE, with loud cackling and drones screeching in pain. Kinda surprising that the fire is still there. The hive must be flammable.

Bowe saw and tried her best to hold in her disgust. "Eww..." She said after a while, a look of extreme disgust lighting her face up a bit too well. "This is 'not' the time for this." She commented, shaking her head and trying to see where to go from here, a little bit clueless.

”What’re you talking about?” Kqidons asked, smiling underneath her mask as she picks the little rascal by her hood. “We’re here to cause as much destruction and death to this place as possible! Besides, didn’t you say that you somehow killed off all life on an entire planet?” She asked, trying to remind her of her dangerous nature.

Lux perked up at the snap of Susan, and looked over at her as he hid the last bomb. He then heard the sounds of approaching Formic Drones, and nodded. He dashed right to her side, then pointed at a path further down that had a hole in the ceiling they could hide in.

Susan nods and catches up to the masked assassin to the little chamber he is hiding in. They witness the approaching Formic drones just simply checking on the eggs while also investigating on where that snapping noise was made. Pulling up the bomb trigger, Susan waits until it is the perfect time to detonate the explosives.

”What’re you talking about?” Kqidons asked, smiling underneath her mask as she picks the little rascal by her hood. “We’re here to cause as much destruction and death to this place as possible! Besides, didn’t you say that you somehow killed off all life on an entire planet?” She asked, trying to remind her of her dangerous nature.

Bowe giggled a little as she was lifted up, and upon being reminded of her past, she quickly shifted to a frown. "Bowe can confirm, she did. But that is something Bowe doesn't want to think about. It was without much reason apart from Bowe's selfishness." She said simply, managing a sigh and readying her blade. Call it guilt for doing the same thing again; except this is on a far larger scale. "As much as Bowe doesn't want to do this again, Bowe at least wants to ensure a world that she can live in - with others - and as much as she wants." Bowe managed to shake herself out of her frown, and instead she lit up with determination and that hungry/violent expression of hers that practically screamed 'let me at them'.

Though she noticed Lux’s nod, she didn’t set off the explosives; it’s not the time yet. After a little bit, when the Formics huddled together to communicate, she presses on the red button on the detonator and BOOM! The hatchery blows up sky high, obliterating the drones and setting it on fire.

Lux watches their reactions for any sort of emotional attachment to the dead eggs. He made sure to memorize everything, from their flaming bodies, to how they reacted.

Talia laughed, and threw a hand into the air. “If we add a flammable liquid or some gases around random areas, then light it at one point, we can do tons of damage in fewer than five seconds!”

Kqidons looked at little Bowe puzzledly. She misinterpreted what she said; she’s genuinely impressed. Most individuals don’t have the girth to kill off an entire army of individuals, but Bowe? She murdered an entire planet! A unimaginable feat. Nonetheless, before she can tell her this, she turned that frown upside down and stares down at the Formic drones. Grinning, she unsheathe her blades and strikes a pose.

Bowe looks to her doing so and laughs a little, gripping her blade and preparing for battle, staring at the drones like 'who's first?'.

Unfortunately, it was difficult to see with all of the fire washing about. Not wanting the fire to spread towards them, Susan grabs Lux by his arm and attempts to drag him away from the danger zone. Luckily, before he was forced to leave, he gain a chance to witness something that may indicate the relationship of an adult Formic and it’s young: one Formic, who is engulfed in flames and is ready to die, flies towards a nearby tunnel that’s about to give away and throws an egg it was carrying as far into the tunnel as it can before the Formic finally gives and falls into the flame pit that was the hatchery.

Realizing this, Rewby raises her head, giving Talia a ‘you’re a genius‘ grin. “Ahhhh! And that way, we can spread fiery chaos to every step we go until we reach the Formic Queen’s quarters!” She announced, putting her full attention to listening to Talia rather than the HUGE FREAKING FIRE THAT THEY SET UP!

Bowe looks to her doing so and laughs a little, gripping her blade and preparing for battle, staring at the drones like 'who's first?'.

At first, they were confused, especially when they smelled like their kind, leaving them vulnerable for a brief minute. Quickly, though, they quickly began to fight back. Though they all try to group attack the duo, they are throwing the Formic drones with everything they got.

Lux watches incredibly carefully as he was dragged, and found the Formic Drone and egg-toss could very well show genuine relationships. On the other hand, it could be to preserve its young for the sake of more drones. It would require time he didn’t have and thought he couldn’t give right now.

Talia jumped up and down in excitement, and looked to Rewby. “What do you have thats flammable?” She asked in a serious tone.

Kqidons was also enjoying the slaughter initially until it also gets overwhelming. She panicked a little when she notices that Bowe's gone. "HEY, KID! WHERE ARE YOU?!" She screamed as she tries to clear off the Formics. Eventually, she pushes them aside, climbs onto the walls of the cavern using her arm blades, and throws a couple of bombs, ready to detonate.

Bowe peeked around the corner and saw Kqidons ascend, waving to her. "Bowe is here! Hiii!" She said, laughing it off.

Though Bowe does not see it, Kqidons' eyes widen when she saw the little girl standing onto the ground. Thinking quickly, seconds before the bombs detonate, Kqidons speeds back to the ground and grabs the kid by her little hood. Though the Vagrok didn't come out unscathed, as she was cut a couple of times and nearly bitten from the Formics, she jumps to a nearby shelter and then... BOOM! The bombs exploded, severely injuring the drones and setting the place on fire.

Bowe saw the fire, seeming in awe - and completely unaware of the danger she unknowingly put Kqidons into. Whoops.

Kqidons stared at the kid, a little upset. "Please don't get out of my sight again," Kqidons asked in a soft, but assertive, tone as she placed her hand on Bowe's back neck, though not in a way that could physically harm her.

Bowe nodded, her smile shifting to slight guilt. "O-OK!" She said in a somewhat frightened tone, managing a nervous laugh to go with it.
