Fantasy Demon Hunting: Welcome to the Rejects (CLOSED)

"Dammit, I was hoping to get her number. Oh well. So, where exactly are we going?" Axel asks whilst picking up her machette and knives.

He laughed heartily as he holstered his own weapons.
"Az on a date. That's a good'un." He went for the main door.
"Hold on a tick, I thought you said you were into men." He smirked at her. "I'll have to let Az know she can switch other gals teams then, eh?" He joked, smacking her shoulder with a hand.

Axel smirked. "I'm into both. I thought we established this at the restaurant. Now, where are we going?"

"Safehouse, out of town." Shuck answered stepping out and checking his watch. "The driver should already be here. Hmm, probably just traffic." Another smack to the shoulder. "I'll meet you there." He put on his sunglasses and started a casual stroll down a dark street.

Minutes later, a car similar to before pulled up to the curb.

Axel climbed into the car. As soon as the car starts she gets a phone call.

"Hello........wait, slow down........WHAT DO YOU MEAN THEY KNOW WHERE I AM...........shit............okay.........bye!"

She turns to the driver, "listen to me, drive as fast as you fucking can."

The drivers window lowered and a cheerful young man with large front teeth smiled at her.
"We're already at the stop, miss." He spoke in an Irish accent.

The door opened, and the car was no longer in front of a delapitated warehouse. A grand skyscraper that reached far into a dusk colored sky beheld her sight. By some magic, the car had ended up here within seconds and without moving.
Dozens of men in suits stood by a path to the front door, each one wearing a mask of black metal.

"The boss wants to see ya, miss." The driver kept grinning. "Giving you the royal welcome, best not to keep him waiting."

A black-masked man knelt down as he held open the door.
"Miss Axel." He spoke in a voice like gravel.

"Wow, I wonder why they're doing this? Oh well. Thank you and take me to the master that so wishes to speak to me. Also get me a cape whilst you're at it please."

A tiny man wearing a similar mask appeared within seconds with a collared cape of soft fabric.

The large man offered a hand of assistance.

Axel smiles and says thank you as he helps put it on her. "Now, take me to who summons me."

"Yes, Miss Axel." The butler-like man nodded, escorting her into the building like a guard would a visiting diplomat.
The surrounding area was walled in like a courtyard, but tops of buildings in a Victorian style could be seen beyond the wall.
The doors opened automatically, and the interior was like a mix of a hotel lobby and a medieval castle of polished black marble.
Further, the escort took her to the farthest wall where an elevator awaited.

"The top floor, last door on the end." The servant explained as he set the elevator's destination. "He shall be with you shortly."

Axel slowly makes her way to the end of the corridor, then knocks on the door 3 times before walking in.

The door opened on its own, and a cheerful bell rang out.
The office was large enough function as an entire apartment.
The desk sat before a grand window view, even if the curtains were drawn, and all around the walls were portraits, paintings, and artifacts across time.
One that stood out was a glass case lit with electrical light. Inside it was a violin of solid gold.

"My my, you are impatient." A soft voice said behind her, as though appearing out of thin air.
Moving in front of her with an offered handshake, was a man with pale skin and a white tuxedo.
His black hair was in a ponytail and had two locks of white hanging down his forehead.
He grinned charmingly with his two canines being golden fangs.
"Welcome to Penta Inc. Please, please have a seat." He gently pulled her to a chair before his desk. "Been a while since I've had one of the Fairfolk in here." He hopped in his own chair and spun around gleefully.
"So . . . Jacksonville. Nice place, huh?" He kept that smile.

"Nah, not really. I can't go back there anyway. Lets just say that people are looking for me. Also, you're hot. Can I have your number? Also also, I'm half human half elf so I'm not fully fairfolk."

(Normally that'd be fine but I add these little details to motivate you to ponder about what her responses will be. Think about where she could be right now and who this guy is. I dropped a HUGE hint with the gold violin)
(Nice to know my characters are hot though. XD)

"So, can I touch the violin? The golden one specifically?"

His body tensed and his eyes flickered like there was a fire behind them.
"Pardon?" He asked, his right eye twitching.
"Oh! The fiddle." He laughed uneasily. "No thank you. I just got it back." He looked at the mounted instrument. "And I'm keeping it."
His fingernails scratched over the desk like claws.
"So how's the millenium treating you? From what I gather you're already decking the halls with guts." He chuckled and ate a lemon drop from the candy dish on his desk.

Axel smiles, "yeah i am," she brushes her fingers through her hair and another part of the intestine falls out, "shit. Do you have a napkin? I missed a bit from my hair."

He snapped his fingers, and in a puff of black smoke, Axel's hair was perfectly cleaned, conditioned, and smelled of strawberries.
"I've seen your work you know. I think you could do great here." He propped his polished shoes on the desktop. "I even offer a good protection plan for those baaaad people looking for you." He winked. "But of course . . ." He brushed a rogue strand of hair. "I'll need compensation."
