Haruka had been intending to come down with some force, arms raised in an ax handle intent on slamming down on the head of the giant when she suddenly freezes at the last second at the sight of the flag. This was really not what she was expecting, some struggling, trying to tear up the ground or flail around with the hands that weren't caught, pulling out some weird stunt like forgoing the clothing that was stuck down and then starting again, but the sudden surrender did feel a little anti-climatic overall.

She had been frowning somewhat at the flag until she suddenly noticed the card and read it slowly, the rest of her body going still and a wide-eyed look taking over her face "Nani?", she did wish she could have said something a little more at the situation, rereading the card unless her eyes were playing tricks on her. It was only after Chikages words about the time limit that she finally seemed to snap out of the stupor "Uh..I...erm...yeah let's get moving" starting to go across to her companion and pulling out a small knife from her pocket to start to cut several of the black stands holding Hachis jacket onto the floor while she tries to come up with a coherent answer to the earlier proposition.

"This....offer is rad, But....well kinda sudden, I mean this thing doesn't even have your name on or anything...and donations?" she sighs running a hand through her hair "Look I mean we need to get this exam thing over with first, but hey maybe we can start with Friends you know? Im Haruka by the way...." he seemed genuine now at least with that feeling behind his gestures so would kind of wouldn't feel right to just shoot the guy down, as weird as it is and the fact it was some science institute type situation "Im guessing your not much of a talker...so you wouldn't happen to have any other cards in there would you?"

Prince was just about to start loading another round of circuit BB's into his gun when the noises of the battle in front of him just stopped. Like, dead silence with a side of murmurs and whispers. Looking up from the barrel of his gun, he saw his teammates crowded around the giant, a distance close enough to make him uncomfortable. He listened in on the talks they seemed to have, small snippets of their voice traveling into the microphone of their phones.

"...an admirer."
Chisuke's voice came through, a mixture of human voice and techno-static as his mic was too far away to register anything else.
A what? What the hell is going on?

Prince warily strode over to the rest of the group, slowly coming within melee range of the hulking giant. He didn't know what the others were thinking, being within punch range of a towering giant with arms as a quirk doesn't exactly spell 'Safe Zone'. Fortunately, all doubts and fears of Prince's were dispelled as the gold badged student flew a little white flag.

Prince couldn't help but chuckle, a tiny white flag on such a huge beast was comical and golden in Prince's twisted humor.
"PFFFFT That's adorable! What's going on here?"
He glanced over the other's shoulders and noticed a small business card in Akira's hand, taking care to quickly read the text on it.

"OH MY GOD, A MARRIAGE PROPOSAL." Prince slapped a hand over his mouth, hoping he wouldn't anger the hulk of a student with his laughter.
But even with the hand covering his mouth, he couldn't help but let a few snickers loose before elbowing Chisuke and Akira.

Hatsu Kashizaki

Aldeeran Academy

If a smile could take over one's face, Hatsu's would be full teeth right now. Now, she didn't exactly understand why her smile glistened the way it did when facing these types of situations, but paid no heed to that muffled voice in her head giving her the idea of it being the early symptoms of an excruciatingly slow-developing mania. Perhaps it was just a very bad imitation of all might's infamous smile, the message behind it being completely different of course; maybe instead of it being a symbol of peace and reassurance, it was more of a clear warning for any villain: she was there, and they should start running. So, does that answer the question? Is that why she was smiling? Is it a symbol of looming dread she imposes upon any villain? Of course not. Hatsu was just having a blast; she just couldn't keep the smile at bay.

She initially thought of her badge stealing shenanigans as just a lousy excuse for an intimidation that would mildly annoy the villain, but as she locked eyes with her, she understood just how attached the girl was with the badge. Hatsu couldn't really feel that stagnant desire to win coming from the dough girl, but she was still going to give her hell if she wanted her precious red badge back.

After all, her family name wasn't for nothing. The Kashizaki's didn't get as far as they got just by going soft on fights, even if the challenger was weaker than them, they inherited that desire to go out with a bang from generations and generations of reckless bastards that loathed defeat. And even the weakest of the bunch, Hatsu, was no exception.

She began laughing to try and drown out the pain and proceeded to pound on her own chest, her ribs cracking at the sheer force of the constant impacts, the whole world coming to a definite halt in her eyes once she finished. She carefully coordinated every movement until adopting a formless holding stance, her eyes narrowing as the tunnel vision blurred out the unnecessary scenery around her until the only thing that remained was just the red badge. Hatsu's mind went completely blank at that point, subconsciously focused on only one thing, winning. But all of her focus and resolution quickly faded away when she heard the wind whistling around the dough girl, the sound the punch made when landing on its target reminded Hatsu just who she'd placed all of her trust on.

"Come on! You think you got me?! Laughable!"

"Of course she has you! You dumb son of a...!!!"
As if it were a bad habit she adopted on the small window of time spent with her team, Hatsu rolled her tongue on the last sentence to refrain herself from committing verbal assault, sounding more like a dog growling.

She let out a sigh of surrender as every other member of her team started ganging up on the poor red badge. Bug girl was doing some weird maneuvers to convert herself into bugs. Aoi was just being Aoi. Kumi was the only one showing some common sense, although she'd been having an intense staring competition with some flying dough this whole time; And Harry was nowhere to be seen, perhaps saving hostages, perhaps lining up possible contestants for his harem. All-in-all, everything went horribly wrong, as per usual. Whilst the chaotic nature of the crew's lack of communication and ineptitude in strategy management was being put on display, the red badge proved why she once had a reddish piece of metal clinging from her clothes, as she quickly dismissed her attackers with her dough before throwing herself at Hatsu with remarkable speed.

Hatsu could not believe her eyes, the girl was flying at her with the speed of a loose bullet, and she had already wasted too much energy preparing her body for that final move just for it to go to waste; her stance had loosened itself up a while ago. Now it all boiled down to one factor, the distance between the two. Hatsu could easily react to her opponents movements due to her enhanced sight but now that her body had naturally reached its limit, she simply could not counter nor dodge this with her usual inhumane speed. And even if she forced her muscles to move with her quirk, it would end up being too high taxing in the end, and no-one knew if the battle would drag on. Being where she was, Hatsu finally understood what they meant by "Being a hero takes work."; having lesser energy consuming options that would only end up being too lethal to even consider Hatsu's actions as 'heroic', she was completely cornered. But that only made the whole thing even more exciting, the spoils of victory would be much more valuable after all.

She used her split-second timing combined with some muscle enhancement in her right leg to dig her heel on the soil and dance around the 'villain', making it seem as though the attack had completely phased right through her. Of course all she did was methodically spin around the girl to dodge her, but in the red badge's view it would've looked as if she'd turned into smoke and vanished. After that she didn't really bother doing anything too elaborate, since her consciousness was already dangling on a thin thread, and just did what anyone would do; threw a kick at the villain's side. Of course with the strength gathered in Hatsu's leg, the force must've felt as if it reverberated throughout her vertebrae all the way to the root of her core. Not her problem if she slightly bent her spine by accident.

Hatsu wasted no time and used the remaining muscle in her leg to sprint over to the closest friendly face around, leaving a trail of blood on her wake of course; not only did she have a couple of cracked ribs but her right tibia was on the verge of meeting its maker. "Aoi~" She called out to the girl engulfed in dough with a cutesy tone, but with an aura of hostility surrounding her. "How do you feel about losing a limb or two?" She didn't even wait for Aoi to answer and instead swayed her right leg upwards in front of the dough, perfectly cutting it vertically and making an opening for Aoi to escape.

"Go get 'em, tiger." She finally stumbled onto the ground and bid her body from moving while breathing heavily.

Betty jumps up and down "yes, we did it!" she says excitedly, then she turns to her team mates. "hi, I'm Betty, I guess we didn't really meet cause we where all so excited to fight."

Chisuke had been so focussed in the fact that Haruka had gotten a marriage proposal that he had indeed forgotten that they had to get the villain to a specific area in order to make the points count. At least he forgot until Chikage brought it up. He just gave a nod to both her comment and the confirmation that Haruka gave. The school seemed pretty big, but as long as they left now they should still be able to get this guy to the capture some with some time to spare.

Chisukes attention then turned back to Haruka and the stranger. If she was trying to make friends with the stranger, maybe Chisuke could too. Sure he hadn't really been set on making new friends when he got here, but Haruka and Chikage seemed like good people; maybe this guy would be too. "I'm Chisuke, sorry about hitting your ankle so much. I know it must of hurt," he apologised. Chisuke then noted Haruka asking if he had cards. Life would certainly be simple if the guy did, but a different solution was needed if he didn't. "If you don't have cards maybe you could....emphasis different parts of shocking? Like if you want to start as Harukas friends you could say yes by putting emphasis on Shock, SHOCKing. Or if you don't think we could he friends you could say no by putting emphasis on ing, shockING."

A rustling sound came from within Hachi's suit, which stretched awkwardly as various arms rummaged through before victoriously pulling out a large phone. Hachi fiddled with the phone and a voice rang out. "Hi hi! Hachi here! Nice to meet you! I'll go to the point zone! Hi hi!" it seemed Hachi had a text to speech app. Hachi began in big lumbering steps to leave the arena back towards the starting area.

It was apparent the dough wielder was hurt pretty bad by Hatsu's kick, as she was sprawled on the ground clutching her stomach in pain, vomit dribbling down her face. "B-badge!..." she exclaimed as she reached out towards Hatsu. More dough started bubbling out from the girl's body as it seemed she was resorting to the final trick in her playbook. It appeared she had created some sort of monstrous dripping dough armor, the size of which hid the exact location of her body from attacks.

Aoi Kokegoke

Alderaan Academy

Aoi felt the lukewarm, moist substance climbing up her leg. Her whole body shivered at the contact with the dough. Only a few screams and curses later, it climbed up enough to engulf her whole, leaving only the face sticking out. Moving became hard at first, and impossible later, but that was the least of her concerns, as their enemy’s quirk went further, first covering Aoi’s eyes, then nose, and finally, the mouth. All sounds became muffled, and the thick layer of dough covered all the light. However, that still was not a big concern. The biggest one: air. It’s a human instinct to take a deep breath once those situations happen, however, that instinct can very well doom you. As Aoi inhaled her last portion of air, some dough entered her mouth, and she started coughing. It quickly depleted her oxygen reserves and she slowly suffocated. Not like this. Not again.

She heard doctors talking. Her parents were in the hospital too, holding her by her hands. Aoi couldn’t move, like a weigh has been placed on her every muscle. Even doing as much as squeezing her father’s hand had proven to be a Herculean task. But each time she exerted herself, she would tire, and then, another wave of cold sweat would come. Not only did it feel awful, but after a while, small green sprouts grew from every inch of her body. She coughed.
“I know you’re panicking, but you need to calm yourself down.” A familiar voice came from her right. “The doctors are doing their best, but they need your help.” She tried opening her mouth to respond, but the plant immediately entered it, travelling down the throat, making her suffocate.
“We’re losing her!” One of the doctors screamed. Then there was nothing. Silence.

"How do you feel about losing a limb or two?"

The voice woke her up. And then there was light. Almost blinding, with a silhouette of her teammate right in front of her. The force of her kick split up the dough, but it took Aoi a while to react, and spit up the goo in her throat.
“I never… asked you…” She muttered in between coughs, but stopped as Hatsu tumbled to the ground. “Tiger?”

Mukade still tried distracting the enemy, to little avail. Harry was nowhere to be found and Kumi’s quirk still worked from the looks of it. Aoi jumped out of the dough, right at the enemy, who buried herself in more of the cursed material. One of her shoes, however, stayed in her prior prison, and something clicked inside the girl’s head.
“Badge, badge, badge! You never shut up about it!” She screamed and plunged right into the dough. “You should worry about me! Cuz you pissed me off!” Right as the dough caught her arms, she activated her quirk. The moss shot out and covered her arms like a glove. When her arms became completely submerged in the dough, Aoi violently pulled them out and stretched the dough away from its source. It wasn’t much, but she saw the top of the enemy’s head.
“Got you!” She cancelled her quirk, pulling her arms out of the moss and leaving the withered plant in the enemy’s grasp. With her hands now free, Aoi went for the spot right under the head. Reaching it wasn’t easy, but her hand finally grasped what seemed to be the neck. “Let’s see how well YOU deal with suffocation.” Aoi took a deep breath. The dough engulfed her as well, but she wouldn’t let go. She kept squeezing the enemy’s neck as tight as she could.

Harry ducked out of the way as the glob of dough collided near them. The villain certainly seemed quite unhinged, perhaps Harry could comfort her at a later date after the exam was over? But right now he needed to focus on his current group of lovely gals. Ito was doing what she said she would and distracting the girl with a swarm of bugs. His Aoi had gotten caught in the dough but before Harry could move forward to try and free her Hatsu, who he was now very thankful was part of their little group, demonstrated her extraordinary abilities.
In a flash, she moved between harassing the dough-girl and freeing Aoi with a swift high kick.

The now freed Aoi charged forward with assistance from Hatsu to take out the dough girl. Harry decided to act on the words of Kumi and went ahead to the victims trapped in dough. With a swift slice from his hook, he began to cut them free, pulling them out of the dough and then using the now empty spaces in the dough to venture through the sticky substance and continue freeing them.
"Never fear gentlemen and ladies; Harry's Angels are here to help," he boldly declared as he pulled a girl free.

"I should have things on this end, Ito, Kumi see if Aoi needs help," He called over his shoulder.

Hachi turned themself in at the villain zone. Kazue dropped off the victims at the victim zone and the villains at the villain zone. Kōbo Nōka slowly lost consciousness in Aoi's hands, giving her and her group just enough time to get check-in their villain and victims. The clock struck the hour. Confetti filled the air.

The principle's voice boomed from the speaker system once more. "Time is up! You've all performed wonderfully! If you follow the flashing lights, they will lead you to the cafeteria where food and refreshments are prepared. If anyone has injuries, there are also medical tents stationed around campus and at said cafeteria. We will now evaluate your performances and let you know the status of your admission in the coming weeks! Thank you!"

Why couldn't they just still be fighting? That's nice and simple compared to this bizarre situation, maybe best to move past it as quickly as possible and just get to the more simple hanging out and making friends. They did eventually arrive at the villain holding area before the test could finish at least, making small talk with Hachi as they moved along, well talk using the loosely given the use of of the phone but it did make her foresee a good degree of texting in the future given how quickly Hachi could move those fingers and hands. There was also the question of actual speech that her partner had raised about separating parts of the word shocking, it did have 8 unique letters which was almost a third of the alphabet so maybe there was quite a few words you could get from that, but if this guy had been here a while they must have tried that at some point right?.

Looking around the holding area they stand waiting for a moment trying to figure out the next course of action or if this really was the test practically over with time to spare "Heya caught ourselves a villain, here's hoping its points by the pound. Would have maybe tried handcuffing but doubt we would have had enough" giving a chuckle as she tries to replace the strangeness with humor instead. She then goes to turn to the rest of her team with a soft smile "Also thanks for everything, really, Im sure this is going to get us in so i cant wait to start here with you all..." turning her gaze up to the giant "Same goes for you big guy" patting the man's leg given its not she could reach anything higher without stretching up or jumping. Her shoulder was still feeling a little sore from that blow but she really wasn't feeling up to going into the medical tents, she never was the best with doctors and there injections or drugs especially with her prior history in the hospital. Instead, though she was much more drawn to the more appealing option of the food, after all, everyone knows a good meal can solve everything...almost.

"Anyway, Im not one to turn away from a free meal so anyone one else up for following the flashing light road?" gesturing across to the aforementioned lights the teacher had mentioned.

When they got to the villain area in time, Chisuke felt a deep feeling of relief wash over his body. He'd done it. He'd helped to capture this villain, a villain with a gold star, and bring them back to the capture zone. Even if he hadn't done much, that alone should give him enough point to get into the Academy. He turned to Haruka after her comment and blushed ever so lightly, "I really didn't do much," he admitted softly, "just took a few punches. If anything, you're the reason I'm going to get in. Thank you," he smiled.

Chisuke then nodded at her second comment, "I could probably eat to," he agreed as he patted Princes shoulder, "and I'm guessing you could to," When they arrived at the eating area, Chisuke found himself subconsciously looking around for that cute boy. And when he saw him, he blushed. He remembered the flower that Chikage had given her, knowing deep down he was meant to give it to that guy, and looked up at the stranger again. "You guys find a table, I....have to go do the scariest thing I've ever done in my life"

Chisuke then began walking towards the stranger. Inside he was freaking out, terrified about what this guy would think of him, certified by the idea of him hating Chisuke. But Chisuke was one of those people who had to know things, and right now he had to know if this guy was worth having a crush on. Soon enough Chisuke stood in front of the handsome stranger, the one called Harry; though Chisuke didn't know this. "H...h..hey," he stuttered as he pulled out the flower and pretended it, "I...I...wan...wanted to give you this...to...to...say I..h..hope you get..i...in"

Prince practically screamed when he heard there was free food. Chisuke knew how much the techno-freak loved food as he patted Prince's shoulder, before walking in pursuit of the others. Prince was the first one in the cafeteria, bolting immediately towards the food stalls to see what was available. He looked back at his team and waved them to hurry over, faltering just a bit when Chisuke broke off the group with a rose sheepishly held in hand. "Oh my god is he going to do what I think he's going to do?" Prince traced Chisuke's path, the endpoint quite easily connecting to the guy Chisuke threw eyes at. "Oh my GOD I need to capture this!" Prince hastily activated his quirk, registering three cameras that were in the area. He pointed all three towards the two, excited for either an utter failure or a huge success. "Zoom in... and record."

Prince completely forgot about the food in light of new entertainment, remembering that he hasn't disconnected their phones yet. Okay, let's enhance Chisuke's mic. He held the metal bars of the cafeteria setup, hoping that the electric shocks he'll get from doing so won't be too much of a pain. As a few major shocks slammed into his body, he could hear the breathing, ruffling of clothes, and even heartbeat of Chisuke as he neared the guy. "I...I...wan...wanted to give you this...to...to...say I..h..hope you get..i...in"

Harry smiled in relief as his team brought in their haul of victims and the now unconscious dough girl. He was curious about how she fell unconscious, as he hadn’t been paying attention to what the ladies had been doing; he mentally cursed himself for not capturing their moment of glory in his mind. Harry offered his shoulder to Hatsu, who seemed very winded, he guessed that her incredible feats must have been quite taxing to her body.

“You girls sure are as amazing as I thought you’d be. You’re a shoo-in to make it. Alderaan will be all the more picturesque with you roses amongst the leaves,” Harry exclaimed, to no one in particular as they waited for the principal's address. As the principal brought up the medical tent Harry gave a concerned look to Hatsu.

“Maybe you should get checked over at the medical tent, we can save you some food” he offered. As the group made their way into the cafeteria, Harry had to remind himself not to fill up on lunch; he had been promised a feast for dinner, he had absentmindedly removed his hook and put on his jacket again; his stump now hidden by the sleeve in his pocket where it usually was.

He was distracted, however, as a whitehaired guy came over to him offering a very subdued “Hey if it hadn’t been an obvious greeting Harry would have asked him to repeat it. He was surprised further as the man held out a small flower to him, with his wish for Harry to pass the exam. Harry looked from the man’s eyes to the flower and back again before recovering from his surprise with a bright beam. Reaching up and clasping the man’s hands with his one, he exclaimed,

“Ahh, this is perfect! Thank you!”

Taking the flower from the man's fingers Harry hurried away, still beaming, out of the cafeteria. A short while later he returned to cafeteria, now clutching a small bouquet of scrounged flowers packed around the one he’d received. Making his way through the cafeteria to his team he held out the bouquet to the girls.
“It was a pleasure working with you all today. I’m having a party at my house tonight, to celebrate our work, how would you ladies like to accompany me?” he asked.

Chikage's shoulders slumped with a sort of relief that this Hachi guy seemed to be friendlier than she pictured in her mind. She gave him a brief smile, something she rarely does, as a feeling of comfort washed over her when she heard the principal announce that the exam had been over and that there would be food in the cafeteria, which she wasn't too fond of, but she needed to get some water in her system as swiftly as possible or else she was seriously going to lay dead on the ground like a wilted flower. The girl gathered up whatever strength she had and followed the three people she had fought with and rushed over to wherever she could get water from, hastily notifying them that she'd better get going to get any liquid she could get hold of, "I'll be back in a short moment. I need to get some water or else I will most definitely pass out from lack of water. See you later!" With that, she rushed off, surprisingly cheery, the reason behind this confusing even Chikage. Maybe it was the fact that she was finally able to use her quirk without hurting herself too much, as well as the people around her, and that made her joyous.

When she arrived back with a few bottles of water to the pair of Haruka and Prince, she had noticed that Chisuke had gone to the guy he was looking at earlier. The dark-haired girl wanted to cheer him on but figured she was better off quiet to not make him more nervous than he already was about encountering the fella. Until Chisuke did so, though, she remembered the flower that Haruka mentioned earlier and grew a few of them on her arm that was hidden by her school jacket. She quite literally had a trick up her sleeve. She stepped over to stand by Haruka's side, took the peonies out from the sleeve of her jacket, and handed them over to the other female, a rather rare and honestly nice smile on her face, one she saves up, "Here, you said you liked peonies better than the other flower I gave you. I'm sorry for being cold and distant before, it's hard for me to warm up to new people and in such a short time. I hope we could be friends, no matter if we get into different classes.. and same goes to the other two but yeah." Chikage's last sentence had been quickly mumbled and thrown out the window, her cheeks taking on a redder than her roses hue. She sheepishly moved away and further observed the conversation the white-haired teammate had with the boy he gave the rose to, only to notice how he went away for a second and got back with a bouquet of other flowers, the rose that Chisuke gave him included, and gave them out to his female friends. The girl was about to really mess up the guy's day but at the last second, she composed herself, walked over to her teammate, and nudged him to get back, all the while making a flower crown made of red and yellow roses, "Hey, let's get back. He's not worth it. You'll find someone better, I'm sure of it." She flashed him a quick grin and put the flower crown on his head.

Chisuke's heart was felt his heart racing as he waited for the stranger to take the flower, more nervous than he'd ever been in his life. He prepared himself for the bitter rejection that was to come. Then the stranger held Chisuke's hand and he melted. "Ahh, this is perfect! Thank you." Chisuke couldn't believe what he was hearing, but he was hearing it and it made him so happy. "N..no need to thank me," he smiled as the boy went away.

Went he returned Chisuke only evened more and smiled brightly. The stranger had brought a bouquet of flowers added to the one Chisuke had given him. Were they for him? Chisuke couldn't believe it, this but might actually be Bi after all. This was going to be the greatest moment of his life. Or it would have been....until the boy walked passed Chisuke and handed the flowers to the group of girls he'd been working with. Chisuke sighed and looked down, as if all the joy had been punched out of him.

"Hey, let's get back. He's not worth it. You'll find someone better, I'm sure of it." Chisuke turned and saw that Chikage was talking thinking him, then he felt the crown on his head. It wasn't much, but it made him smile, "thanks," he said genuinely. He then walked with her back to the table, "sorry for giving your flower away to him. I....hoped he'd keep it," he admitted softly.

Prince watched on all three cameras what had transpired. He didn't expect that. At all. He thought that Chisuke would've either been rejected or accepted, and he had his hopes way high when the other dude brought out a larger bouquet. But when the dude passed Chisuke completely and gave the bouquet to some other people, Prince physically winced in sympathetic pain. He wasn't rejected, he wasn't accepted, but he was used. An ending way more painful than rejection in Prince's thoughts. Immediately, Prince deleted whatever was recorded and returned the three cameras to their original state, while also deactivating Chisuke's mic. A disgruntled cafeteria lady shouted at Prince, apparently, he was holding up the line. He grabbed the two plates he had ordered and swung over to their table.

When he arrived at their table, he placed the plates down and immediately hugged his best friend. "I don't know what he was thinking, but you didn't deserve that," Prince pulled away, "You'll find someone better, I promise. Now sit, I'll get you your plate. Don't touch those plates, they're mine even if your heartbroken little face wanted them." He added, hoping a little Prince-esque joke would lighten the mood.

The dough slowly dissipated, and Aoi was left with plenty of air in her lungs to spare this time around. However, even after everything was over, she still held tightly the neck of the person which made her use her quirk. She had fallen unconscious and let go of her quirk already, but everybody still could see Aoi steadily grasping the neck with all her strength. How dare she? She doesn’t even know what she’s done. So she shouldn’t be punished? This won’t get me into the school. This was my one conviction and I’ve broken it. It’s not worth it. The battle of thoughts inside of her finally ceased and she let go, taking a deep breath and looking at the reddened neck of the student.
“There you go. Red. Like your badge.” She threw the girl on her back and started walking briskly to the drop off zone. “Adequate job, everybody.” She only muttered and put on the shoe she lost.
Others either walked the villains to the zone, or placed their unconscious bodies gently. Aoi was too frustrated for pleasantries and smacked the girl’s body against the floor, not even looking twice if she landed on her face, neck, or other student. Right as their teammates secured the victims, it was over.
Aoi stayed around to listen to the principal’s speech about the tents and cafeteria, as well as Harry’s invitation.
“I’d rather have my home burned.” She said and turned around, exiting the school grounds and walking home, head still full of anger, regrets, and thoughts. "Also!" She screamed to the rest from over her shoulder. "You've seen nothing!" Aoi didn't know if they knew or noticed that she used her quirk, but it was better to throw that out, just to be sure.

“Cafeteria, huh?” Hoshi scratched his chin, pretending to be deep in thought as his stomach rumbled from hunger. “Having some company won’t hurt.” He finally shrugged and walked next to Kazue and Yasu. He smiled at the siblings' bickering.
Dear Yasu,” He placed his arm on his shoulder. “Cafeteria is not simply a place to fill your stomach. It is where information travels, connections are made, rumors are spread… and rumors are good for your reputation. A hero is as good as their reputation, and it’s best to start building that as soon as possible, is it not?” He smirked. My seed of wisdom will blossom forth in this young man, and soon, he will become one of my many fans, maybe even my student. Ah, yes, having a disciple would really make me look like a big deal, would it. He held the kicked doors open, prolonging their dramatic entrance.
“Waiter! Bring us the best you’ve got! Future top of Alderaan coming through!” He shouted for everyone to hear.

Hatsu Kashizaki

Aldeeran Academy

"You think you're off duty…? Move." Hatsu's voice remained quiet and lacked its usual strength due to her recent display, but her tone was something else. The way she dragged out those simple words gave them the tad-bit of severity and power needed to paralyze anyone in the vicinity. Her face interlocked in an ever so annoyed snarl that quickly turned into a pained look of disdain as the leg she was looking at began shivering violently, waves of pain coming along with those tremors. And as if she'd ordered her own muscles to bind the bones in her leg back together, the swollen limb followed along Hatsu's biding, quickly returning to its normal motions. Still feeling those uncontrollable quivers, but moving normally.

She was sweating profusely and carried this feral glare locked onto the soil, as if the weight of the world had been placed on the back of her neck; but she forced herself to stand up. A very unstable stance, but functional to some extent. "THE EXAM WILL END IN 10 MINUTES!" Principal King's announcement kept repeating over and over in her head. She had been so focused in doing flashy moves that she didn't even realize there was a time limit. And she'd trusted Aoi in distracting her foe until she regained enough energy to spring back into action, a plan that seemed extremely fallible given the predicament she was in. So why not steal the show again? Even if it meant risking rupturing blood vessels and possible heart failure, that was only a lowly price for becoming a hero.

"Step aside, Aoi! I've got th... Hah?" Her determined look contorted into one of disbelief and confusion. "You... You actually pulled it off?" A hint of doubt in her weak words, as if she could not believe her eyes.

"I-I mean, of course! I never doubted you for a second, Aoi!" Unable to keep eye contact with Aoi her legs finally gave out and she fell to her knees, making a dull thud as she did. She didn't really have the strength to get Aoi out of the dough but she'd figured that the red badge's quirk would inevitably deactivate now that she was unconscious.

Hatsu's body slumped backwards once again as she resumed her intense breathing "Good job team." Raising a victorious fist to the air whilst still motionless on the ground; not really in the mood for celebration or anything. All she really needed was that convenient cliche where the hero falls unconscious and wakes up in a hospital room, but sadly that would not be the case here.

Not letting the remnants of her energy go to waste, she limped at a surprisingly steady pace towards the 'villain zone'. The road there was rather uneventful and disappointing to say the least, aside from the concerned looks she got from every other student as she started biting holes in a torn piece of her cape and the sight of the golden badge behemoth that walked along side another team. As Aoi "turned in" their villain like a child having a tantrum, Hatsu placed the badge in a spot where the dough-girl would notice it whenever she regained consciousness; right in her forehead. She wrapped it around a piece of red cape and left it there. All things considered, everything had gotten too personal between the two. So she meticulously left a hidden note on the torn piece of cloth by biting holes in it on the way there. If you were capable of reading weird eldritch hieroglyphs then the message would read "Sorry". Sadly, the terribly written apology would most likely go unnoticed. But still, it was the least she could do.

Maybe she was expecting gigantic robots and a simulated city that slowly became a hellish war-zone as the exam carried on, but she could not deny that she had one hell of a time here.

It was nonetheless satisfying and heartwarming to know that the people around her had given her the chance to have a change in scenery, going from her repetitive routine that always drove her mad to this feeling of accomplishment that simply wouldn't go away. Sure, her team had been complicated to deal with from the start but she'd be forever in their debt; and she would not forget their names. Aio, Barry, Bug and Miku.
"Wait, that's not right..." She thought to herself, realizing that some of the wires in her brain had been rearranged the wrong way.
Something was definitely out of place but it would probably fix itself if she rested well enough.

Or so she thought, but that difficulty when in-taking air came back stronger than before; this time it brought along an ominous tingling sensation. "Tempting, but I'm good. I just need to catch my breath, really." She curtly turned down Harry's advice. Not only did she despise medicine in all its bitter-flavored glory but she was also a firm believer that if she managed to plow through the pain with an iron will, then any wound would heal eventually. In reality she just couldn't be bothered. There was no time for self-care, she needed to make some friends.

Once she felt the pain begin to subside she followed the glimmering lights that marked the path to the cafeteria, her eyes squinting at the sight. The confetti she could handle, but this was just downright excessive. Whatever happened to being professional?

As she reached the cafeteria, a welcoming sensation settled in; the most honest smile she'd ever done so far blooming on her face. Ever since her family shunned her for lack of talent, life had been throwing curved balls at her, from every direction and without a warning. But today. Today was different. "Winning feels nice sometimes..."

Making her way towards her merry group, Hatsu noticed how Aoi had already left them behind "You Tsundere bitch. I was trying to make some friends, y'know?" She spoke her thoughts out loud with a peculiar playful tone, her smile still giving off the same warmth as when she entered the cafeteria. Hatsu's mood had already gotten too bright, and no typical Aoi stunt would make her happiness go away. She was genuinely disappointed that she wouldn't be able to at least get to know Aoi's friendlier side today, but no-one knows what the future holds.

Inching closer to her team she toned down that expression she deemed as idiotic and sat down, concentrating more on her food than rather questioning why Harry was holding a bouquet of flowers.

Before she'd noticed, half of her plate was already gone and no conversation had been struck. The ongoing silence seemed to have ringed a bell in her mind, a high-pitched bell that made her reminiscence those lonely middle school days. So, drawing some courage from the red cape on her waist, she spoke up. "Anyhow, don't you guys think we should start holding up strategy meetings for the group? Err... Harry's Angels, was it? Do we have a trademark on that?" Knowing she had little to no experience in her conversational skills, aside from those weekends she'd waste going to different conventions wearing cat ears and calling herself The Nyasura out of pure boredom, Hatsu decided to just let loose and start talking about whatever came to mind. "I mean, the way I see it: Aoi's the useless leader that always gets the finishing blow for no reason. Harry should be the strategist? Don't know, haven't really seen him in action. Kumi's the one with the most supportive quirk, so I guess she should lag behind and do... supportive stuff? Bug girl's kind of a hybrid between attack and support but from what I've seen, her quirk leaves her with too much openings so she should be focusing more on scouting. And I'm just the typical glass cannon." As Hatsu kept speaking confidently she couldn't help but wonder why the hell she saying all of this. Had she been playing too much turn based RPGs recently?

She had already gone too far with this, so why not keep going? "Name's Hatsu by the way, pleased to make your acquaintance." Satisfied by the fact that she managed to finally introduce herself, she leaned into the table, that bright smile slowly turning into her normal smug and crazed one. Talking felt refreshing for some reason.

Chisuke found himself freezing up just a bit as Prince embraced him in a hug, though he relaxed after only a moment; though he might have stayed frozen had he not been very good friends with Prince. Chisuke listened to his friend and couldn't help but chuckle at his attempts at humour. As dumb as they could often be they were some of the only things that could really get Chisuke to laugh. "Don't worry I know better than to get between you and your food," he commented.

When Prince left and returned with his plate, Chisuke began to eat. Now, despite his quiet demeanor, Chisuke did enjoy quiet discussion during meals, as long as they didn't get too crazy and long winded. "You know I heard rumors that this school has a strange hierarchy system," he began quietly as he ate, "three houses that you are places based on skill? Or perhaps it's experience? Either way, where do you guys think you'll be placed? If it's true?" he asked curiously. Of course he had his theories already. Chikage and Haruka had great skill and could easily be top tier. Prince had a good heart and knew his quirk well bit hasn't done much in the exam, so he might be in the middle. Chisuke had done even less, so he expected to be put right at the bottom.

Waving farewell to Hachi, for now, she does not forget to quickly scribble down her number onto the card before making her way to the cafeteria, her teammates seemingly either not as eager or having other concerns for the moment before they could join her. She had been stopped however before she could get too far away by the sudden call from Chikage with the new flower and a smile, accepting the item before going to slot it into her hair next to the ribbon as she listens to them speak.

"To be honest I just put the entire cold thing down to nerves so I really don't see anything to really feel sorry about you know? So friends sound good, no better way to get to know someone then to get into a fight with them...plus hard not to see you around if were living in this place, grounds arent that big...but for now? food!" gesturing to follow along as they finally reach the Cafeteria.

These past few weeks Chisuke had been on edge, a collection of nerves and worries. He probably would have had several panic attacks had it not been for the group of friends he'd met during the exam, all of whom had kept in contact with. Even with their support though, he was still nervous. They had all had their times to shine during the exam and shown if their skills. All Chisuke had done was punch a bit and take some hits. Part of him still feared he wouldn't get in.

So when that acceptance letter finally came Chisuke showed rare bit of emotion; he actually cried with joy. He was finally going to have the chance to prove himself.

A day or too passed and Chisuke made his way to the opening ceremony, carrying a large suit case with him. He had planned on moving into the accommodations here since he lived so far away. Chisukes patents had initially worried, but knew it was the right idea. Walking around the crowed he began looking for Prince and the others.

Prince didn't know what to think when the acceptance letter came to his place. In fact, he didn't think at all. All he could remember from that day was that he got very very vERY hyper and partied all night long. He had tapped into Chisuke's and the two other's email addresses when they parted ways back at the school in case the acceptance letter was sent digitally, but alas his efforts were in vain as they were sent via the traditional paper letter. It didn't matter, because either way Prince got accepted!

The technofreak packed his bags with the alarmingly little amount of stuff he had as most of what he owned was digital and technological crap that could be sized down into a portable fashion. When he left his house for the school to attend the opening ceremony, he started to plan another dumb prank on the others. Activating his quirk for the cameras again, he avoided Chisuke and the others as best he could until the three were all together.

One by one the students arrived once more at the academy campus, although this time the nutcracker guard allowed everyone in. The campus looked much the same, except without so many balloons and confetti, and a stage had been erected and chairs provided. Principle King was standing on the stage and gave a little wave as the first students arrived. It seemed this time he wasn't making an entrance. 30 or so minutes passed as he waited for the rows of seats to fill.

"I'm so happy! We have an excellent batch of new students this year! I watched the footage 37 times!" He said exuberantly, waving his arms in the air to punctuate his enthusiasm. "Now, before I begin giving your medals there is something that must be explained. I designed this school around a certain principle." Here his grin took on a devilish property.

"The principle of natural selection." He said with a devilish grin.

His smile returned to it's more standard playful expression. "It doesn't matter what you have to do, just become a hero! This school is designed to put on the pressure to turn coal into diamonds and allow you to find and maximise your strengths! To do this we have the badge colour system. In the exam, you will have noticed that students had badges of different colours. The colour marks how successful the student has been in their studies, and higher badges come with perks, and different accommodation. Most students have blue, with standouts having red after the Number 1 Hero Endeavour, and the school's greatest students have gold badges after All Might..."

"
However, that isn't all. This is the Deku Green Badge. Only one has even been created and it has never been bestowed. I built this school in the hopes of finding a hero as great or greater than that legendary hero. I know this is selfish of me, but please! Do your best and earn this badge! And now... Making a special surprise entrance! Some of our most successful graduates have come to cheer you on!"

A burst of smoke erupted on the stage, but it was gone as quickly as it appeared, and standing on the stage was several famous professional heroes.

"Without further ado, we will present the badges. First up, the Blue Badges: Aoi Kokegoke, Yasu Hirano, Chisuke Yakoyami, Mukade Ito, Kisaraki Kumi..." The list kept going. Whenever a student heard their name they got up and received a blue badge from the hero of their choice.

Yasu Hirano
Location: Alderaan Academy Campus
Yasu went to collect his badge from the punk hero Nirvana, a personal idol. He tried to tell Nirvana how much he loved the fight between him and the Shatter Villain Burēku and that he'd bought his every album, but only managed to stammer out "H-hi... I'm a bi- big... F-"
"I have no idea what you are trying to say, kid. Just take your badge and sit back down buddy."
"O-okay..." he stuttered taking his badge. It was only once he'd gotten back to his seat that the adrenaline of meeting one of his heroes wore off and he realized that Kazu hadn't been listed, and it wasn't for another few moments until he realized what that meant.

Then he moved on to the Red Badges "Red Badges: Akira Haruka, Prince Newton, Kazue Hirano, Betty Katazuku, Chikage Okino, Hatsu Kashizaki, Hoshi Hayashi..." Again the list kept going.

Kazue Hirano
Kazue Hirano stepped up and collected her badge from Alchemist with her head held high. No words were exchanged between them, Kazue was feeling too proud for that. She then went back into the crowd where her brother was.
"Hey, sis. Aren't you gonna ask for a blue badge instead?"
"Huh? Why the hell would I do that?"
"Because we were going to succeed and fail together!"
"No."
"H-huh?!" Yasu was startled. Him and Kazue often fought, but this was different. "What the hell are you saying?!"
"Yasu. How fucking long do you plan to drag me down?!" This was the first time he felt genuine disdain from Kazue.
Yasu was speechless. Kazue just walked away, going to go talk to some other red badge students (Open if anyone is interested)
Yasu ran off. He ran out of the campus, ignored and ran past Maki the driver and went temporarily out of the picture.

Principal King
"And, we also get to welcome in a new gold badge. Before you form any opinions, I would like to state I purposely had nothing to do with this particular student's grading, and the examiners grading him were not made aware of his connection to myself. Introducing, my son, Aden King."

Aden.png
A plain and non-descript looking young man stood up from the crowd and approached the stage. Liberty himself presented his badge.

"You did good Aden."
Aden didn't respond, just took his badge and sat back down in the crowd. He actually looked a little embarrassed.
