- I'm 18, and I just graduated! Whoohoo! I’m working at a grocery store till fall and if my mental health isn't on the rocks, I'm usually up for 1+ replies a day (usually multiple).
-In regards to post length I tend to give 300-700+ words depending on the situation, though Im very good at mirroring.
-I only write queer romances.
-I don’t mind playing any gender, though I do slightly prefer playing nb characters.
- I have a preference for roleplaying on discord, but it isn't mandatory! My @ is Brain_Rot#3140.
- I don't double.
- I'll generally have a LOT of ideas for planning- each roleplay is a new universe and I like to flesh it out, especially since its hard to get into the nitty gritty details in the RP without derailing the main story. Plus, I like to loosely plan each plot point our characters are working towards to avoid burnout.
- Ghost friendly, though I’ll probably poke you once or twice just to make sure.
- I'm in the PST timezone, though on my days off I am quite nocturnal.
-No triggers.
- I am 18, and prefer my partners to be 18+ as well.
- Bare minimum of 1 paragraph (about 100+ words) per reply- though I greatly appreciate some flexibility to give more when needed.
- Enthusiastically help with planning or I WILL loose interest.
- Let me know your triggers and pet peeves. If we don't mix, then we don't mix, but it's better to know sooner rather than later.
- Be comfortable/well versed in writing queer relationships. I’m not looking for an ‘expert’, but if you’ve only played hetero romances up until this point we most likely won’t mix well.
Things I like in my roleplays
- Give me drama or give me death! Crying, breaking up, near death experiences- etc.
- 90% of my roleplays are romantic because I'm a sap, but if the prompt seems promising I wouldn't mind trying platonic.
- Gore and violence. Self explanatory- I get squeamish around graphic depictions of animal abuse/assault BUT everything else is on the table.
- Fantasy! Not mandatory, but I am always up for fantasy. Set in the past, present, or future. My favorite fantasy setting is DND so I'll be pulling from there as well as celtic mythology.
- Vampires or any kind of humanoid monsters. I'm gay, what do you expect?
- Sprinkles of fluff. Just highlights (Or pages and pages of our characters confessing their love to each other) and sweet moments to bring the relationships together.
-Action. I might not be the best at it but I love writing fight scenes, especially between two frienamies who are prone to witty banter.
These (obviously) aren't fully formed plots, just ideas to jump off from. They can be tweaked and/or combined too!
- Super hero X super villain.
-Humanoid alien X human (either one of them crashing landing on the others home planet perhaps?)
- Demon learning to become a better person with the help of an angelic or human friend.
- Summoner X supernatural creature.
- Magic practitioner X apprentice (maybe modern fantasy where magic is outlawed?
- Android X human (inspired by every Daft Punk song)
- A high profile criminal X bystander (preferably in a steampunk setting.)
- Basically a coffee shop AU set in a modern fantasy world.
- The classic tattoo artist X florist.
- Mermaid X pirate.
- Medieval arranged marriage (in the magical world where sexism and homophobia doesn't exist.)
- Any scenario involving a zombie apocalypse.
- Enemies to lovers (BIG emphasis on this one)
The stage is set in a dreary town full of exotic people. A dust covered, lawless community of ex-convicts, outlaws, and trouble-makers looking for a place to catch their breath. Despite the people's... unique backstories, the town is reasonably quiet. If someone wants trouble they go out of town to find and/or make it. The lousy excuse of a sheriff, along with the mayor of this squabble of land, are keen to keep things that way. There ain't a lot of money in righteous work, after all. It gained the name Haven, a place where no matter how cruel or devious one may be they can rest for a night or two before getting back out to the scorching deserts and unforgiving canyon lands of the deep west. This brings us to Muse A, one way or another they found themselves nestled in this little crop of dirt outside of the purview of the law and they are keen to stay under the radar. Whether it's directly related to their need to stay in Haven, or just an added facet to their character, Muse A is gifted with powerful sorcery that is unheard of by a majority of people in this world. This brings us to Muse B. In need of some serious cash (gambling addiction gone wrong? Owe a couple slum lords? Maybe just really tired of being poor?) they gained a map that shows a path to a special trove of treasure in those previously mentioned deadly canyon lands, except only a powerful sorcerer (of which they are not) would be able to reach it. One thing leads to another, Muse B does some shameless stalking, and here they are crashing into Muse A's well established business looking to fuck up their life with ridiculous hijinks of grandeur.
((OOC time)) This is really a half Rango- half El Dorado style, historically inspired (aka not accurate), wild west cross country trip between two people who HATE each other before gradually learning to love each other. I purposefully left Muse A and B very vague because I'm up for really any dynamic! 'preppy/jock', 'reserved/fun loving asshole', 'naive prankster/ asshole hardened by crime', 'raging idiot/ grounded, emotionally constipated jerk' - literally I could literally go on for hours. During their adventures there are other gangs/ one big boss gunning to get to the prize as well, so Muse A and B are constantly looking over there shoulder and getting into fun fights. As they progress further into the dangerous lands of (some fantasy name for the continent) they will slowly discover magical worlds unlike anything they've ever seen. I have so many other ideas too, LMK if you're interested and we can work out the details!
Key words to describe the vibe; Enemies to lovers, heavy world building, western-fantasy, raunchy + inappropriate humor, lots of tension.
Check my plots/starters tab! Really craving that chaotic western romance and there’s a plot description of it over there.
I should start this off by saying I don't like playing established characters or established plot lines- I also don't like playing out ships, I never feel like I can get into the characters well enough. With that said, I don't mind taking/using inspo from an established fandom universe and creating original plots/oc's for a new roleplay. That being said, here are the fandom's I'm familiar with!
- Soul Eater - Bioshock - TAZ (every arc) - Demon Slayer- AOT - OHHC - Sally Face - Portal 1+2 - Blue Exorcist - Mrs Kobayashi's Dragon Maid - Black Butler - My Hero Acadamia - Wonder Egg Priority - And like SO many others, my big dumb brain just can't remember them right now haha.
