Futuristic Those That are Hunted

(If Kytha took that hit then she'd be struggling to breathe for sure)

(I'm pretty sure we do that all the time haha)

(Kytha did throw a jab at you, Vulcan. I didn't read anywhere in your post that you either took it or dodged it though)

(Oh, crap! Had forgotten about it...)

Vulcan was surprised Kytha took the hit. She was better than this. Therians had faster reflexes and with her adrenaline probably pumping she would have been able to react accordingly to it. Vulcan wasn't even throwing all that powerful punches, simply because she was at least twice as younger and smaller than him. But what could she be up to? He wouldn't let her do whatever she was planning on doing. He saw the jab coming from her shoulders and hips spinning with the punch and quickly lowered his chin, hiding behind his arms and blocking the punch with his left palm, his right arm ready to counterattack. Even if she was to hit his head her fists would most likely hit his forehead and it would hurt her more than him. The skull was one of the strongest bones in the human body, protecting the most important organ.

(Sorry for the stupid response back then. Thanks, Lioness. *blushing with embarrassment*)

(Always here to be your personal grammar nazi and to be fully aware of when things are overlooked in role-plays. :P Even though I sometimes overlook things as well....)

And I thank you for that again because I still have a lot to learn. In English and in roleplaying. GOD BLESS YOU, SPELL CHECK! Else I would have some really stupid grammar mistakes which would be annoying as hell.

Kythas eyes widened when she saw the thrust he was going to put into that punch and almost instantly moved. She felt the graze of air on her head as his punch just missed. Hoping that he lost balance from punching Kytha looked at him. 'What are you trying?' She wondered before swinging her leg to kick him hard in the side hopefully in the rib area which could wind him. 'Dont take this hit Vulcan or I'll know your suspecting something and have to go full out early...' Her thoughts raced through her head and she began remembering how it used to be. She quickly shook her head snapping out of the trance to see what happened

(Kytha dodged your punch and is now trying to kick you, specifically in the side or hopefully the ribcage. She's also trying to figure out what you're planning on doing)

(Okay. Perhaps I have counterattacked after the block. Give me a sec.)

(I wouldn't go for a hook after a block. That'd be stupid. And besides, only one action per post. If I block I can't attack in one post as well. So what now?)

(Why not bring your arms down to your side to take most of the blow, and then perhaps catch Kytha's ankle and pull her towards you to make her off-balanced. If this was successful, then you'd have a clear shot at a powerful punch to her face or head)

(I mean, you could lay out the steps first, like blocking the blow and then grabbing Kytha's ankle. Let her react and then see where to go from there. That'd honestly be the most typical response of action I could see in this situation)

Vulcan saw the kick coming. Why are you using kicks, Kytha? Why, girl? Of all the things you could throw at me you throw a lazy ass slow kick. What are you planning? He quickly brought his hands down, grabbed her ankle with one hand and brought her leg sharply up, trying to throw her to the ground. His other hand was still in guard, ready to throw a punch or block any incoming.

(Explanation why a kick wouldn't be strategically and physically correct: To throw a powerful kick your upper body must lean backwards, giving you range and keeping your head away from incoming punches. You can't throw a powerful kick after a jab because your body twists to the side. You have to untwist and lean back and kick. Way too much unnecessary movement. Lesson's over.)

(More discussion than action :/ )

(Oh, well. Just sit back and enjoy. There isn't much for you to do. Go hug Alpha.)

Ky felt him trying to flip her but pushed her leg against the force of him keeping her fading balance. Before anything new could happen, she realized they were in close quarters. She stood there for a minute before looking right in the eyes and sending an uppercut to his chin almost full force but incase he dodged she used a little less force.

Vulcan pushed his body against her leg and was about to throw her to the ground not only with his arm but with his whole torso, but then in the process couldn't react fast enough to the uppercut that went flying towards his chin. He only barely managed to deflect it with his other arm that was still i guard but it still hit him. He let it happen and tried moving his head up along with the punch, lowering the damage done by it by slowing its momentum down. Nevertheless, it caused him to let go of her leg and move a step backwards, spitting some blood to the side before going back into stance. Finally someone was giving him a good brawl. Nice thinking, Ky. Never underestimate your enemy - he often had to remind himself of that rule in fights. While she may be smaller than him she was quite more agile and quick.

(If only they were fighting near my Flash/Arrow character, Tucker. He'd be having so much fun with smartass and sarcastic comments. xD )

Kytha saw him move back and smirked before getting herself back into a stance again reminding herself to stay on her toes. She stayed calm watching his every move before taking a couple steps closer jerking her hands in fake punches.

Yeah, you just come closer, girl. Vulcan knew she was trying to fool him with those fake punches of hers so he didn't move aside from his constant easy bouncing, making it easier for him to evade attacks or throw such quickly. He had a feeling though that she didn't quite know how much she was exposing her face by throwing those fake punches. He quickly outstretched his left arm in front of her face, palm open just inches from her nose, trying to fool her and limit her vision while at the same time his leading right hand went into a powerful attack, his upper body almost leaning backwards into the punch. He was once more targeting the head, mostly the space between her temple and her eye. If it was to hit it would have the same effect as that hook she evaded once. Now however she wouldn't quite see it coming.
