Futuristic Those That are Hunted

Of course she would team up with someone like that. When the girl with arts of her animals forms still showing started talking he looked her over. Brandon could tell that she look weakened. He assumed it was from this fight that the fire man mentions. Hearing Larassa's name Brandon's eyes widen. "Get the helicopter ready." He said in Hebrew. The man just looked at him. He and the rest of the team were tired. They hadn't had real food in days. After all traveling by helicopter took a lot long than by plane. "But sir, we haven't eaten normal food in days. What use will we be low on energy?" The man said in broken english. The man wasn't particularity good at speaking the language but understood it well. Unfortunately his teammate was right. He ran a hand through his hair and sighed. "Thank you for telling me that. I would leave now but my team here thinks otherwise. Do you mind if we stay the night and leave in the morning?" He hoped that Rosalyn would be in the same spot. She had told Brandon what had happened the night her sister was taken. He knew that Larassa was the one who did it too and if she was one of her captors Rosalyn wouldn't miss this change to try and kill her for what she did to her family.

Tucker shrugged at Kytha and then said with a slight grin, "I suppose so." Gingerly picking up the cat so as to keep any weight and pressure off of its paw, Tucker then turned to face Kytha while he said, "I guess it's time to head out for now? If we can find some kinda supply of padlocks then we could lock all of the cages to the animals that'll survive without a doubt. That way, we can open and close their cages without needing any watches and such." Glancing down at Kytha's pet dog, Tucker grinned, as the dog looked a bit ridiculous in the moment. Having already heard Matthew cry out about being all done, Tucker knew they would need to find a method to lock up all of the animals before any of them tried to get out and started picking fights with one another. Once they could ensure the animals' safety, then they could get to work on feeding them and getting them water. Beyond that, they'd have to figure out how to get them all taken care of medically. Were there any vets around here still? Or had the agency never had vets to begin with?

After a while, Vulcan stopped listening to the argument between Toron, Xander and now, on top of all, Piper as well. He was only glaring at the group of strangers with narrowed eyes, his ears focused on their conversation and eliminating all other noises around him. When Xander moved to the group and requested for them to speak English with some supporting growl from his wolf, Vulcan just stayed where he was. The fact that they had no watches meant nothing - it only meant that they had another way of communicating with the HQ. But Vulcan wasn't just focused on their conversation. He had narrowed his eyes not only to hide how wide his pupils were, almost covering all of the eye whites, he was also focused on the leader and soldiers behind him to such an extent that his view was magnified, letting him spot every little movement even in the falling darkness. And from what he could see, they were either really good liars or they were indeed speaking the truth. Words could be misleading but one's body language never lied. Then who was this woman who both these guys and Amelie wanted? And for what reason? And then it hit him. A prisoner capable of mind control so powerful she could erase memories. If there was indeed one like her, he would have known of her existence. Guards and agents were always informed of more dangerous or extraordinary prisoners. They had been informed of Tucker on the plane but a prisoner with mind control was never mentioned. Vulcan blinked a couple of times to turn his vision down a bit, then walked over to the leader, stopping right next to Xander. "Do you by any chance speak German?" he asked in a bit of a broken German, trying to remember what he had learnt about this language a couple of years back. It had been quite a while since he had spoken it. For some reason Ivan insisted on him knowing at least one other language aside from English and Bulgarian and now he could see why. It could almost be used as a secret language, especially when surrounded by people that either didn't care what they were talking about or didn't speak it in the first place. Vulcan had assumed that those strangers spoke it at least a little bit to be able to communicate more easily with locals, in order to get information about the whereabouts of their missing person. If not, then he would have to try it in English.

When Matthew was done unlocking all of the cages, he walked back to Tucker and Kytha. He didn't have any idea where they could find such locks since they didn't really use them. Right now, they couldn't do much. The doors may be closed but they were still unlocked so they needed only a push to open and let the animal out. Some were already running or crawling around. Chaos hadn't broken out just yet but it was only a matter of time before cats started chasing mice, dogs cats etc. Some of the animals had managed to get into the storage room, the door of which was wide open and the rustling of packages with kibbles of all kinds being torn open could be heard. They had food for now and Matthew was only hoping those creatures knew not to overeat. Hearing the sounds, most of the animals were headed there but some were also heading for the exit. "Maybe we should keep them contained here as a starter." Matthew said and quickly walked over to the exit that was a couple of feet from where they were standing, closing it in some cat's nose but keeping the door only slightly open so that they wouldn't lock themselves in.

Brandon could feel someone watching him intently but couldn't figure out who since basically everyone was watching his team at the moment. Then the tall dark haired man started talking in what Brandon assumed was Germany. He glanced at his teammates as if asking which one spoke German. The man who was speaking broken English before stepped up. He cautiously looked around at everyone before speaking. "I do." He said in German.

When the seemingly shy agent or whoever he was spoke up, Vulcan's gaze shifted from the apparent leader of the group to him. "Did this woman have the gift of mind control?" he asked directly, not too keen on keeping this conversation going for too long. He didn't want to arouse unnecessary attention, especially from Toron, who would immediately start investigating why in the world he was talking in a different language to some strangers.

The man spoke Hebrew to Brandon telling him what the man asked. Brandon hesitated for a moment before nodding. "She had mind abilities, yes." Brandon wasn't going to tell them the specifics of what she could do but they, at least the man and the girl with dragon wings, seemed to know information about his beloved Rosalyn.

Vulcan furrowed his brows when the man transferred his question to their leader. It was to be expected really as this simple soldier couldn't answer instead of his team leader. He was only the translator. Vulcan couldn't recognise the language they spoke in next but he assumed it was coming from some southern country. He could only assume the nod was meant as a Yes, looking over his body language as he did so, considering that for some southern cultures like the one he came from as well, a nod was in fact often considered a No. "Then I may have some useful information." he continued immediately after seeing the nod. "But there's a... problem. It is on a locked computer. Unless some of you know how to open it, the device is useless." he spoke rather quietly and slowly so that the man could translate what he was telling them. In reality, Vulcan had no idea what could be on that computer. It definitely wouldn't include any information on the whereabouts of this woman but they could still do him this great favor of sparing him the trouble of trying to unlock it himself.

A frown formed on the man's face. They didn't come with someone who could hack computers. They were a retrieval squad after all, made up of people who could get in and out fast and fight when needed. "I'm sorry but we do not." Brandon looked between the two. The man then translated to Brandon, who in turn, gave an apologetic look.

Vulcan let out a quiet sigh. He was once again alone in this. And those guys were too. Not that he cared much about this woman, who she was or why she was so important. It didn't concern him one bit so he really care less what happened to her. "Then you should get going soon. Ms Glass won't be staying here for long." he muttered in German for the last time, then turned around to go and return to his and Xander's room. He had a busy night of hacking before him. He didn't really doubt Amelie was already flying towards the US in some private Government jet. He was trying to get into that device because of Xander. Vulcan may have lost the woman he loved but there might be still hope for Xander.

Seeing the man leave, Brandon watched him. Something was off about him but he couldn't put his finger on it. When the man was gone from his sight, Brandon looked at Toron. "I promise we will be out of your hair in the morning. All we need is just something to eat and some rest. We will be very grateful." Brandon waited for the boy's response.
