Calvalon is the largest of four realms that exist in Aeon of Heroes, providing three varying continents with diverse cultures and history. It serves as a plane for mortals to reside and build their civilization and clash against the other, as all creatures born on its soil are mortals by nature, unlike the occupiers of the skies above, who mock death and prosper for eternity. Compared to the other realms that the universe has to offer, Calvalon is suffused with the cycle of death and suffering across the continents, caused by the combination of the gods and their people.Paymonia’s vast lands occupy three great kingdoms that rule over the jurisdiction of the world with their staggering influence over the continent. These three nations of authority are the Exultius Sovereignty, Aeslengard Theocracy, and the Ukrethian Empire, each ruled by a system of autocracy below a celestial force except for Exultius, which is ruled by their yet-alive Progenitor-Sovereign, unrivaled amongst mortal kind.

Among the continents of Calvalon, Paymonia is factually the largest, with the highest population, brimming with life both feral and civil. As such, when put to scale against the other continents regarding its wild danger levels, Paymonia would scale on an 8, with the preceding continent rated at a 5. The ratings are high not because of the natural beasts that lurk in the forests, but rather because of the Paymonian exclusive Vile Beasts that terrorize villages and countries without discrimination, devouring the flesh of the innocent for their unending hunger.Before the materialization of Calvalon through the combined celestial energies of the Arterion Gods, a realm known as Exelica existed eons ago, becoming the place of residence for the gods and their angelic subordinates. Exelica is different compared to every other realm in the world of Calvalon, as it is not a physical realm that exists as a part of the world, but rather a separate dimension where time works differently.

After the destruction of Exelica in the hands of the Godslayer and his knights, the realm is now nothing more than a wasteland with constant murky clouds and dark waters that surround the doomed world.

Traveling to the realm is impossible without protection from the Fragment of Divinity.Sitra Achra, commonly known as the Underworld, is the realm of purgatory and purification where deceased souls travel to receive a chance at reincarnation. The cleansed souls eligible for reincarnation are sent back to the world above for a fresh start, with the exception that their memories will be left in Sitra Achra, along with the impurities that they have amassed during their time before death. The impure energy that is stored in Sitra Achra soon evolves into incarnadine creatures, lusting for mass and a purpose, killing and devouring the other beasts in the realm to become larger and stronger.

Unlike its counterpart, Exelica, the realm of purgatory is strictly one-way, with no way possible route of escape. However, an uncleaned soul may pass and escape the infernos if they are capable of taming a Greater Vile Beast.Unlike Exelica, the world of Calvalon and Sitra Achra is connected in the same plane of existence. While Calvalon is the world that thrives over the surface and the skies, Sitra Achra is the land of the damned located between the earth’s mantle.

What connects Sitra Achra and Calvalon is the Abyssal Dungeon, located in the Eastlands near Exultius. The vast dungeons served as a homeworld for the ancient Azelthyrians before they departed from the caves for the construction of the City of Avalon.

The Abyssal Dungeon, after it was abandoned by the Azelthyrians, became a breeding site for monsters of the darkness. In the current era, venturing into the Abyssal Dungeon will award the parties with swarms of varying monsters and hostile environments that will seek to turn the adventurers into fresh meat.

There are nine floors total, with only seven of them ever explored. The lowest floor lies the gate of the Abyssal Dungeon, where one could freely travel to Sitra Achra, with the price that they may never return.

The oldest race in Calvalon, the human race serves as the first beings to have walked the earth. There are no real inherent benefits to them other than their swift reproductive capabilities and swarming numbers no matter the era and conflict.

Pros.
♦ Humans (and by extension, Nephilims) are the only race where a Chaos Root can be genetically inherited.
♦ Human discrimination is almost nonexistent throughout Paymonia, with the exception of minor countries in the Northlands.
♦ They are the only race that can perform miracles through the Fragments of Divinity.

Cons.
♢ They live an average lifespan of 100 years. Humans who live longer are considered rare.
♢ Raw fragile defense. This can be mitigated with the activation of a Chaos Root.

The Nephilim race is the second to the last race introduced to Calvalon and are discriminated against by the entire world outside of their homeland, Aeslengard. They have a brutal history of enslaving and conquering other countries during the Third Divine Conflict before their supremacy ended with the rise of the Godslayer. Nephilims were once prominent in every country during that time, until they were hunted down by vengeful foreigners after the end of the Fourth Divine Conflict.

Nephilims that live away from Aeslengard are considered fools, waiting for their death sentence at the hands of the ‘unclean’. There is nothing rarer than seeing a Nephilim outside of their home nation.

While humans and Nephilims are identical to one another in terms of appearance, their distinction begins in traditional wear. Humans sport attires befitting for their taste and class, while Nephilims are culturally locked into a single choice of attire: Armor and a custom mask. In Aeslengard, all Nephilims are required to hide their face with a mask, as showing one’s facial structure is considered an act of folly and arrogance. The civilians begin their cultural training at the age of 5, making it difficult for the standard Nephilim to take off their mask outside of Aeslengard.

Pros.
♦ All Nephilims are guaranteed a Chaos Root with the exception of the unfortunate few who are born with inherent defects.
♦ Nephilim blood is partially holy and is often used in elixir brewing. Thus, Nephilims can regenerate wounds in just several minutes.
♦ They cannot regenerate wounded limbs but can handle blood loss better than any other race.
♦ Mental debuffs do not affect them (blindness, dizziness, confusion, etc.).
♦ They are naturally valorous. The emotion of fear seldom affects a Nephilim.

Cons.
♢ Outside of Aeslengard, they are often slaughtered upon recognition or tortured for their history. They are denied service wherever they go.
♢ Their blood attracts Vile Beasts like no other because it contains residuals of the divine. A single droplet can get the attention of a Vile Beast in a 500-meter radius.
♢ Same lifespan as the average human and just as physically fragile.
♢ For some odd reasons, Blightfathers will always attack a Nephilim first before anyone else in the vicinity.

Thousands of years ago, when humanity was under the rule of the god Tythos, a group of people formed a secret society opposing his rule, and declared themselves exiled and found solace in the endless dungeons of the abyss, where they lived their lives hunting the wandering critters in the darkness. Through hardship and countless challenges, these humans found the fourth floor of the Abyssal Dungeon, where life prospered and nature imitated the surface, and built their home in the buried enclave, away from the eyes of their enraged god.

For millennia to come, humans bred and built their culture within these caves, and kept a strong bloodline of Chaos Root users. With peace and clarity, they learned to live with the Vile Beasts that occasionally raided their homes, coming straight from the gates of Sitra Achra on the eighth floor. Thus, through thousands of years of learning their only enemy, the Azelthyrians were born, their bodily features resembling that of the demonic beasts that they managed to tame.

Azelthyrians are humans by nature and blood but are demons in their crafty arts and wisdom. Unlike the humans on the surface, they were at peace with their minds and remained virtuous, only ever leaving their homes when they craved adventure, only to be severely disappointed that the world outside was unforgiving and filled with unfair prejudice.

The age of peace among the Azelthyrians ended when a member was tracked by an Aeslengardian guard, spelling the end of their prosperity when the lawless humans invaded and enslaved those who were captured during the Second Divine Conflict.

[Note: Nephilims were not born during the Second Divine Conflict. The residents of Aeslengard were normal humans.]

Those who avoided capture sided with the Aerouants, and later built the City of Avalon, which would lay out the groundwork for the birth of Exultius after it was utterly destroyed at the hands of the Nephilims in the Third Divine Conflict.

Pros.
♦ Azelthyrians are excellent Chaos Root users. Their bodies are far more capable of handling their potential compared to that of the other races.
♦ They have natural poison and venom immunity.
♦ Vile Beasts do not target them unless they show hostility. This benefit does not apply to Greater and Lesser Vile Beasts.
♦ Azelthyrians are valued and beloved by most for their renowned hospitality.
♦ Their skin is tough, and cannot be pierced through easily. Their horns are as tough as steel.
♦ They live an average lifespan of 500 years.

Cons.
♢ Any object or liquid imbued with holy is considered lethal to an Azelthyrian. A touch of holy water will burn through their skin and leave a scar that cannot be reversed.
♢ Naturally, because of their weakness against the divine and the holy, they cannot wield Astral Armaments without losing their hands. A single slash will result in excruciating pain.
♢ Elixir crafted with anything holy will instantly paralyze an Azelthyrian for a set period of time, depending on the volume of holy water used. It is technically the only type of poison that works against them.
♢ The raw blood of a Nephilim can and will cause significant harm to them on impact.

Bestiards are a remarkable race of humanoid beastfolk that live almost exclusively in Exultius and the minor countries in the Eastlands. While their origin is unclear as there are several types of Bestiards, the general agreement of their background is that they derived from Azelthyrians thousands of years ago, when opposing parties of the democratic sphere split from their tribe to live elsewhere within the Abyssal Dungeon.

As stated above, the absolute ancestry of Bestiards as a whole remains to be a mystery with no real progress. From the constant wars to the Nephilims destroying Bestiard monuments during the Third Divine Conflict, most of their sacred texts and technology were lost in flames, never again seen after the wars had ended.

Their history of receiving oppression aside, Bestiards, before their migration into the world stage through Exultius during the Fourth Divine Conflict, were a race of beings who cared for themselves more than others and were often shunned by foreigners to live in secluded areas. Bestiards are hermits by nature, preferring to live alone or in small groups. They are excellent survivalists in the wild and support their comrades through their keen intellect.

Of the many races of Paymonia, Bestiards have no enemies besides the Nephilims of the old times. However, as times changed, the elders of the Bestiard tribes agreed upon forgiveness.

Not to say that there aren’t those who disagree with their decision. Especially when the Nephilims never apologized for their actions, and some continue to hunt their kind for sport to this day.

Halfling Bestiards between a human, depending on the animalistic traits of their parents, can look like humans with anthropomorphic traits such as fur ears and tails. They receive no genetic downside from being a halfling.

Pros.
♦ Bestiards are natural predators with unrivaled senses. They are capable of tracking their prey for hours without rest.
♦ Naturally, their stamina levels far exceed that of the other races, including the Aerouants.
♦ Dragons will ignore Bestiards upon interaction. They will only attack them when proven to be hostile.

Pros (Exultius Natives).
♦ Bestiards make excellent warriors. They are capable of wielding greatswords with relative ease and often receive training to make them into the ideal super soldier.

Pros (Natives of the forest).
♦ The majority of elixirs and herbal medicines sold in stores are made by Bestiards. They are amazing brewers of potions and have outstanding knowledge when it comes to antidotes and medicine.

Cons.
♢ Bestiards have a natural scent similar to wild animals. Unfortunately, this specific trait attracts Vile Beasts like no other. They will always be one of the first to be attacked by wild Vile Beasts.
♢ It is said that the Shamans of Evil (Tier 7) came from the dying will of the elders during the Third Great War. While it is nothing but a rumor that instills superstition, Shamans of Evil are sadistic by nature, but more so against Bestiards. Instead of trying to kill them, Shamans of Evil will torture the Bestiards by mentally breaking them.

Since ancient times during the rule of Tythos, behemoth reptiles fiercely ruled over the northern mountains through violence and territorial instinct, creating problems for many in that region. Due to their sheer threat and fear that they would one day challenge the gods, one of the first several decrees laid down by Tythos was for the hunting of wyverns and dragons to be practiced by the humans, with high rewards for those who catch the largest of the beasts.

And so, the hunting began, people uniting with one another to create parties, beginning the early ages of exploration and adventurism that spread throughout Paymonia like wildfire later on in the era. With weapons and tactics utilized by the people, the brave adventurers died in the hundreds, while bodies of dragons fell in the dozens, and were used as an offering to Tythos, and in return, they were rewarded with wealth and territory.

When hundreds of dragons lost their life from hunting, an Arterion God observed the action from above, displeased by the humans for the mistreatment of their prey. Such magnificent creatures, she believed the dragons were and saved them from their doom. Bestowing mercy upon them, Vanhela, the Arterion God of the Beginning, snuck the creatures into Heaven and had them nurtured and tamed, and kept them as her lovable pets for hundreds of years to come.

But one stood out among the several that were saved by Vanhela. Their name forgotten by time, a dragon begged for a chance to explore the world beneath, and with the restriction of limited time, the merciful Arterion God allowed for their absence from the empyreal throne.

With the ability to change their shape and form for the sake of their safety, the dragon, who would later be known as Aerouant the Sage, explored the world below not only through Paymonia, but ventured into the wild of the other continents, bringing with him a group of followers that would later pass down their teachings.

The descendants of Aerouant and his followers, both dragons, and humans would later be known as Aerouants, and spread around the world, offering their teachings to many that wished for peace in the mind.

However, the darkness of the world spawned malice and tragedies beyond belief. Not only did they suffer from the hands of the natural enemy, the Nephilims, but they were betrayed by the gods they served and even the Godslayer who initially fought for their freedom, and their race would go near extinct, but still survived thanks to the cruelty of fate.

After the destruction of the City of Avalon, the Aerouants seek refuge and hope, doing their best to keep themselves disciplined and amiable.

Pros.
♦ Aerouants do not require sleep if their stamina is stable. They slumber only when they are fatigued from combat or other physical activities.

♦ They can transform between their dragon form and human form. When they are in their dragon state, they gain extreme durability and flight, while they are in human form, they have increased firepower. They can transform infinitely without physical consequences. Aerouants cannot use their Chaos Root when they are in their dragon form.

♦ Aerouants have visible scales on some parts of their bodies that protect them from danger. While their skin is only slightly more durable than that of humans, their scales are as tough as bones.

Cons.
♢ Transforming into a dragon will reset the Chaos Root marks.

♢ Healing magic and elixirs do not have strong effects on wounds. Once they take damage, it is difficult to repair the cells using traditional means.

♢ An Aerouant’s greatest weak point is its horns. If one of them were to be broken, they will experience severe mental pain and that part of their face will feel numb. This will also result in dysfunctional transformations. Horns cannot be healed, but treated.

Draculi (plural of Draculus), formerly known as Nightwalkers by the residents of Paymonia, are a species of cursed vampiric humanoids with the lowest population in the world. They are incapable of reproduction through traditional means and have low pain receptors because of their unique nerve system that can be considered positive and negative.

To speak of the origin of Draculi, one must first understand where Nightwalkers came from to deserve such a title. During the Second Great War when Tythos returned from Sitra Achra to wreak havoc onto the world in the name of vengeance, a plague struck the lands that affected mortals and gods alike, killing the majority of people who caught its disease. Of the many that perished, some survived, but with the cost that their bodies would steadily change over time, turning them into a race of mutated people.

At this time, the term “Nightwalker” was coined by the villagers who witnessed them lurking in the forests. With a grotesque physique and their craving for human meat, many were captured and executed on the spot, for the villagers feared that they would have used tricks to convince them of their innocence.

However, the history of the Nightwalkers would change when a particular Nightwalker was captured by the knights of a noble, who demanded them to be burnt at the stake for the public to enjoy, after hundreds of years of harassment they had received from their race. And so, the Nightwalker, who would later be known as Lilith, would be chained on a stake and burned alive in front of the cheering crowd, listening to the horrifying screech of the monster echoing throughout the noble’s domain.

Unbeknownst to the people, however, the fire lasted longer than it should have, as it seemed to have a slower effect on the Nightwalker than they had hoped. The screams of the Nightwalker gradually became quiet as the flames engulfed them, later revealing a humanoid figure once the flames perished, leaving a beautiful young girl with features unseen throughout the human race.

The noble in charge of the execution, bewitched by her beauty and exotic facial features and hair that seemed alluring to no end, would denounce the execution via fire and sentenced her to death through the guillotine, which would later be proven as a false statement when in reality, the noble married the confused girl whose memories of her past remained forgotten.

She was given the name ‘Lilith Draculus’ as she lived her new life with wealth and power, until the downfall of the Draculus name when she witnessed a Nightwalker raid the wagon in which she and her husband were in, killing everyone except for her, leaving her to cry for help as she watched the Nightwalker feast on the corpse of her beloved.

However, when the Nightwalker noticed that she was attempting to escape, a voice escaped its bloody lips, capable of language that no human, except for Lilith, who was formerly a Nightwalker, could ever understand. When it spoke, she understood its speech and remained stunned on the ground. They conversed for longer than they should have until the cavalry arrived, rescuing the noble lady, but not before they struck a holy spear into the chest of the Nightwalker, the monster crying for help as they died in agony.

What came after was the discovery of Nightwalker tribes in the Southlands, hiding in the forest away from civilization, feasting on adventurers and unguarded merchants. With the assistance of the Ukrethian Empire, the people armed themselves and traveled to the Southlands for revenge, only to be stopped by their beloved noble lady, Lilith.

Lilith, in a fit of rage and disgust, gathered the Nightwalkers and ambushed the civilians when they were unprepared, and slaughtered the rest of the population by raiding the villages.

With the townsfolk slaughtered and no one to take the lands, Lilith found and gathered the rest of the Nightwalkers and subjected them to the same treatment she received to become humanoid, burning them at the stake to remove their exterior, spawning in a new race of Draculus.

They lived in harmony and law, receiving threats from Ukrethia for their slaughter of the townsfolk prior. But as the Third Divine Conflict arose and the empire was occupied with the war efforts, the Draculus race prospered and amassed wealth beyond what they initially intended, and created many weapons that would be sold to Aeslengard, sparing them of their wrath in exchange for their advanced steel swords.

The ageless vampiric beings, who started from a single village, would later become a community of villages spread across the Southlands, only to later be betrayed by their only allies, the Nephilims, during the end of the Third Divine Conflict after their methods of blacksmithing were stolen and mimicked.

Lilith and her people were enslaved until they would be massacred in the thousands during the Godslayer’s rise, in fear that their intellect would be used against them.

It is unknown whether or not Lilith has survived, but those who did after the killing scattered throughout the world, with now only a few hundred living in the wild.

Pros.
♦ Their low pain receptors allow them to tank most damages without suffering much consequences. Because their organs are not vital for their survival, the only physical weakness of a Draculus is their brain.

♦ Fortified by the unique attributes in their blood, their bones are as tough as iron. This makes killing them extremely difficult.

♦ Strangely enough, the element of fire does not deal any harm to their bodies. Instead, it heals their wounds. It is theorized that because the virus during the plague was a mutation of the Vile Beast’s, and because Vile Beasts cannot be killed by flames and instead heals their wounds, the same was applied to the Draculus race, who are technically made of survivors of the plague.

♦ All Draculus are unparalleled beauties, both male and female. They possess an alluring charm that no other race has.

♦ They are immune to holy and demonic powers.

Cons.
♢ Obsidian is their greatest enemy. While it cannot cut through their bones, any obsidian weapon that makes contact with the blood of a Draculus will deal significant damage.

♢ Along with low pain receptors, Draculus cannot feel the effects of venom. This means that any venomous bites going unnoticed will have huge consequences.

♢ The Nightwalkers consumed flesh for their survival, but Draculus does not have to rely on such acts of brutality. Blood is usually enough to calm their hunger. However, because Draculi are not protected by any countries around the world, they must find their own way to provide themselves with blood.

In Paymonia, monsters (species not related to, or derived from, humans) are ranked in terms of strength and rarity through tier levels. The tier level starts from 1, the lowest level, and stops at Tier 18. Tiers 1-6 are commonly found, while Tiers 7-18 are very rare to come across by accident, as one must actively search for these monsters to appear. The tier level of an individual should equate to that of a monster, and is used to gauge one's strength.

Tier levels emerged as a consequence of the Chaos Root System, which has consisted of tiers of its own. After thousands of years of experiencing the raw power of various sorts of monsters, the tier level system became very accurate and would correspond well to the individual's level of strength following the year 3900.

Tier 1: The average armed citizen with enough combat experience can take care of them with relative ease. Only in hordes can they become rather tedious to handle.

Tier 2-4: Trained soldiers can neutralize them relatively well. Decorated knights will pulverize them.

Tier 5-6: Reaching tier 5, it becomes difficult to defeat a monster by oneself. Depending on one's skills and whether or not they have a Chaos Root, it may still be possible. A group of seasoned knights may be able to take care of them without a Chaos Root, but a Chaos Root user within the group would make the process much more efficient. There is a very low chance of having casualties when in a party.

Tier 7: The experience gap widens notably from here on out. Anyone in Tier 7 trying to handle a Tier 8 monster will be shredded apart. Tier 7 to Tier 10 monsters are very rare. Although they have a large population in Paymonia, they seldom show themselves to the public.

They are unlike monsters from Tiers 1-6, who are fanatically bloodthirsty to the point where they do not care if they are killed, as their desire to kill is much larger than their fear--if they have any--of death. Tier 7 monsters are still capable of doing terrible things, such as capturing, mutilating, and killing others, but they have a semblance of humane awareness to them. Tier 7 monsters have not developed a speaking language, although for some reason they seem to understand it.

Monsters in tier 7 are extremely popular for most adventures because defeating one signifies the beginning of a journey towards acquiring greater strength and is considered the litmus test of a 'true awakening'.

Tier 8-11: This is where things start to get confusing. Very few monsters within these tiers exist, but they are dangerous nonetheless. However, although extremely powerful, one may possibly still take care of it if they are able to take care of Tier 7 monsters and have copious amounts of experience, training, leadership, camaraderie, and well-crafted weapons. Monsters of Tiers 9-11 will require a team of people, with the exception of notable figures such as the Godslayer, Aluminata, and Vritra, as well as people gifted from the Heavens.

Tier 12-18: Tier 11 is the highest tier for 'casual monsters', or non-vile beasts. Any tier above 11 is considered either a Lesser Vile Beast or a Greater Vile Beast. Tiers 12-18 will require many allies in order to defeat it, although technically they need not be slain as they are not an imminent threat to human-like races. The Greater Vile Beasts are rather content with their lifestyles, eating other organisms to gain mass and grow stronger, and are less hostile than the casual monsters. However, they will attack if they feel threatened or are provoked.

Special Lore Note: There used to be 40 tiers in the Tier Level system to differentiate the strength of every monster. However, this became an issue as the difference gaps between tiers were too small that it enabled a grand sense of ego across many adventurers, who believed that if they could defeat a monster of their own tier level, they would be able to defeat a monster of many tiers above them. To prevent this, the people from the Monolith of Lunastasia (information under the Chaos Root tab) reduced the number of tiers to create a more obvious gap between tiers.“Tythos anathematized his subjects from the beginning of his rule. A fanatic of authority over the mortal realm, when he was smitten by his divine father, the Arterion God Sindragar, the Vile God of Vengeance was born from the depths of Sitra Achra, as he tamed the five most powerful Vile Beasts under his control. They would later be known as Greater Vile Beasts, as they destroyed hundreds of thousands of acres of land, ransacking the people of their lives, only to later be freed when Tythos himself was slain by the same god who honored him with eternal imprisonment. Without masters, these Vile Beasts roam the continent without a clear objective, residing in their territory for warmth under the blistering cold.”

Paymonia has two species of monsters that lurk under the darkness of the forest: The Vile Beasts, and the natural monsters. Of these two, the former is considered a higher threat for their unending wave of terror and competition among its numbers, their tiers fluctuating constantly, making the tier system difficult to measure.

As the general rule of thumb, all Vile Beasts are hostile, unsympathetic, gluttonous, starved, and hold an intense desire to grow mass. Compared to that of the natural monsters that can be looted for profitable items and other useful accessories, Vile Beasts offer nothing but experience aura for Chaos Roots, the amount dependent on their size and strength. However, not all powerful Vile Beasts are large creatures of the abyss that are capable of throwing boulders. Some Vile Beasts come in strange forms, such as cursed red-eyed knights and undead civilians, in which these are often labeled as “Vile Anomalies”.

Above these two categories of Vile Beasts reside a layer that cannot be compared to its predecessors. Known as Lesser and Greater Vile Beasts, the monsters that have evolved from their standard forms will obtain immense power from their years of devouring, gaining a body that is capable of demolishing an entire fortress on its own. The Greater Vile Beasts are considered a catastrophic-level threat in Paymonia with the Lesser ones labeled as a disaster-level threat, a tier just below catastrophic. However, their difference in strength is certainly noticeable. It is heavily advised that no one engages a Lesser or a Greater Vile Beast without a battalion of imperial knights, several contingency plans, Astral Armaments, and an honest prayer to the now deceased line of gods.

Trivias:
♦ Vile Beasts under tier 7 can be tamed by an Azelthyrian. The same tamed beasts can evolve into more powerful beasts without a problem.
♦ All Vile Beasts hail from Sitra Achra, and thus the ones on the surface are usually always tiers 4 or higher. There are exceptions, but it is rare that a low tier Vile Beasts is found roaming outside the Abyssal Dungeon.
♦ Azelthyrians are the only race where they will not be attacked by a Vile Beast upon contact.The origin of natural monsters in Paymonia is left unclear. Their emergence began after the Second Divine Conflict, and scholars around the continent believe that the natural monsters are a spawn of the dead souls from that war, but as it currently stands, there exists no proof that supports that claim.

Other than the Vile Beasts that hail from the gates of Sitra Achra, natural monsters are born from the amalgamation of tainted spirits, nature’s energy, and the biomass of dead animals and insects. Again, the origin and creation of natural monsters are more speculative than fact, and because Paymonia’s research on their background is limited, it is difficult to correctly pinpoint each natural monster’s weakness.

Natural monsters are very faithful to their tier and rarely ever fluctuate.

Tier 1:
♦ Fiends: Evil spirits that take the form of animals, fiends are the weakest line of monsters in the codex. Their fragile defense, slow movement, and inability to properly attack make them easy pickings for most that can brave through their hideous appearance. They seldom gather to create hordes.

— Spawn Locations: Everywhere.

♦ Goblins/Trolls: In legends they are often separated, but in reality, they co-exist with one another for the sake of their survival. Goblins and trolls are two of the same race, with the former acting as the bodyguard of the latter, as trolls are limited in numbers in tribes while the goblins exist in hundreds. They are both physically weak, slow, and have low stamina. However, unlike the goblins who rely on their numbers advantage, the trolls seem to have no ability to fight, and instead run away when they are confronted in a battle.

Though unconfirmed, it is widely believed that trolls are capable of breeding goblins, and so killing them is important to prevent another goblin infestation. Goblins and trolls move in packs and are rarely seen alone.

Tier 2:
♦ Undeads: The undeads are a race of several monsters that can take the form of humans and other animals. Because they are revived malignant spirits, they are incapable of spreading their disease. Most are laughably weak, slow, and lack common sense. They reside in tier 2 only because they exist in hundreds, and are difficult to kill without bashing their heads or burning them.

Tier 7:
♦ Shamans of Evil: …

— Drops: Nothing. However, their middle fingers should be extracted for high level antidotes. Their middle fingers alone can be sold for 55 pieces of gold.

— Spawn Locations: Everywhere, impossible to determine.

WIP...WIP...WIP...WIP...WIP...

The Godslayer slayed many foes, of many were gods who challenged the unstoppable force rampaging through the clouds of Exelica. Amidst these challengers, some wielded an ego the size of a behemoth, with their dying will cursing their fate in their last seconds. Their ego and will fused and turned into the Fragment of Divinity —a ruby-colored shard with condensed energy chaotically swirling inside of the gemstone, waiting to become a tool of mass destruction or harmony.

Of the many that were slain, near the end of the Godslayer’s conquest, he collected roughly 400 shards and turned 64 of them into weapons that he would fiercely wield to threaten the other nations. And of the remaining 336, he materialized tools of battle befitting for his knights that had accompanied him throughout the war and awarded them with the sacred tools.

Currently, there are 172 confirmed Fragment of Divinities with the rest either missing or stolen. Because the Godslayer and the remaining gods are the only ones who can transform the shards into tools, many Fragments of Divinities are kept as heirlooms.

The same cannot be said for the Astral Armaments, however. During the Godslayer’s 2-year slumber after the execution of his son, of the 64 that were kept inside Godslayer’s vault underneath his throne, 25 of them were stolen by the knights of betrayal and spies of opposing nations, and one by Solara Evernight before she departed from the empire.

Exultius is by far the most welcoming and tolerant nation to those who are of any humanoid race. This includes humans, Azelthyrians, Bestiards, Draculus, and occasionally some Aerouant folk. However, what they do not tolerate is the mention of, or allusion to, religion of any kind–even the mention of ‘God’ would warrant exile as the lowest form of punishment–and the presence of non-humanoid races–e.g., pure dragons, due to the amount of power and influence they hold, as well as their history of assisting the gods. The humans and Azelthyrians were once known to despise each other, but as the divine beings came along, they put aside their differences and joined forces to defeat their greater common enemy. Azelthyrians now only reside in Exultius, while approximately 80% of the nation's population consists of humans.

Out of the three nations, Exultius is the largest of all, but not large enough to be bigger than Ukrethia and Aeslengard combined. It is also considered to be the strongest and most feared nation since the war with the Godslayer, which resulted in the massive growth of the nation's military prowess. For these reasons, Exultius owns a majority of Paymonia. In terms of government, the nation follows an autocratic system, although it is governed by a monarchy. While the nation values autonomy, the Godslayer continues to have control over Exultius, with his prime minister as his subordinate.The prime minister is, by technicality, another Godslayer, although focused entirely on politics. Recently, for the sake of abiding by the princess' morals, the nation's socio-political and economical powers have declined, although it still remains stable.

Hidden in the skies, Exultius is a breathtakingly beautiful high-heaven fortress. If one were to peer from above its highest level, they would be able to see the entire world, or so the adults tell their children. The view is immaculate and the capital city of the country is a sight to behold.

Aeslengard is a nation that contradicts most of what Exultius stands for. Ruled by a theocracy that believes in human and celestial supremacy, they despise all who are not a Nephilim or human, even the dragon race who they are allied with, because they believed the dragons had betrayed them. 99.9% of the population is strictly Nephilim, while the other 0.01% consists of minorities who likely have no choice but to live there. The Nephilims of Aeslengard have an unrelenting loyalty to their religion, as it was the Gods who created humanity and nothing else. Their education revolves around religion, their masters are their gods, and currently, the civilians are sheltering the surviving gods from the Fourth Divine Conflict within the Yggdrasil Tree. The Yggdrasil Tree is located in a heavily guarded place, as the tree is capable of producing holy water, such that when one bathes in it, they are cleansed from illness and injury.

The magical capability of Aeslengard far surpasses that of Exultius and Ukrethia as the nation contains the most magic users with Chaos Roots. In fact, all known residents of Aeslengard are Chaos Roots wielders, as those who have not acquired a Chaos Root are considered non-believers and are thus publicly executed or privately used as experimental subjects in an attempt to revive the gods. Those believed to be witches or spies are also executed publicly. Even the children of two Chaos Root users are not exempt from this, as when they reach the age of 8, they would discover whether they would acquire a Chaos Root of their own. If the child lacked a Chaos Root, they would be turned either into a footsoldier or another test subject. War prisoners are typically used as test subjects as well. The rate of non-Chaos Root user mortality by experimentation is several thousand per month.

Aeslengard’s infamy does not begin in the current age, however, as before the rise of the Godslayer and his conquest for mortal supremacy, the Nephilim race reigned supreme over the continent of Paymonia, enslaving and committing genocide against the non-Nephilims and humans. They are solely responsible for the near extinction of the Aerouant and Azelthyrian race, the complete destruction of the City of Avalon and its ‎Library of Dragnaros, the beginning of the Fourth Divine Conflict, and the death of millions.

Ukrethia, like Aeslengard, is a nation that has a firm belief in a particular god. However, this nation is the only one whose god, Herrscher, remains alive in present-day Ukrethia. It is, for the most part, as powerful as Exultius and Aeslengard if not slightly weaker, and relatively unknown to both. Ukrethia generally houses the Aerouant race and is not as friendly to those who are not human or dragon. In Ukrethia, almost every dragon has the ability to shapeshift, and amongst them, only a few are extremely powerful. The history of Ukrethia is unfavorable due to the actions of the Herrscher and is therefore considered the least plausible location to live in. Its landmass also remains the smallest of the three nations and has unremarkable architecture.

The year zero marks the earliest period of recorded history in Calvalon, starting with the event formally recognized as The First Divine Conflict. During this time, life had already existed on the planet–humans were the first sentient race of its kind and later races evolved from them–tribes were formed, and countries began to develop, with Aeslengard and Ukrethia being the only two official countries of the many that were established thus far. Alongside these developments, five Arterion Gods by the names of Ausar, Infinitarius, Nevrys, Sindragar, and Vanhela were tasked to watch over Calvalon. The First Divine Conflict began when Tythos, the first son of Sindragar, secretly committed fratricide to maintain his reign over the Aeslengard Theocracy, after his father commanded him to pass on the throne to his younger brother. Tythos then framed the crime on Ausar, who had a long-standing feud with Sindragar, and instead of denying it, he took this as an opportunity to wipe out the father and son, thus starting a war initiated by Sindragar. Eventually, Ausar revealed that he did not kill the younger son, and Tythos had admitted himself as the murderer. Enraged, Sindragar exiled Tythos to Sitra Achra, where he spent the majority of his time repenting for his sins and taming the Greater Vile Beasts that resided there. Meanwhile, the citizens of Aeslengard, who loved Tythos dearly, became immensely upset, and again Ausar would be used as a scapegoat for Tythos’ overdue reign. When this happened, the war no longer involved only the Arterion Gods, but the people as well.

The war was consistently in flux, shifting from periods of skirmishes and battles to inaction, for 2,000 years. Within these two millennia, the Chaos Root system was born, thanks to the technologically adept mind of Nevrys. Nevrys was the Arterion God responsible for bringing most concepts to life–the exception being human souls as that was Vanhela’s role–and as the gods were not equipped to handle the power of Chaos Roots, they introduced it to the humans to provide them power equivalent to that of a demigod. As the humans learned to use the Chaos Root system, the gods limited the power that they would receive upon reaching their maximum potential. At this time, the population of Aeslengard and Ukrethia had reached seven million people at best, but the war had only lasted so long because neither country would cooperate with the other.

Because Sindragar and Ausar decided that the nations were still in need of development and would not allow for the war to continue much longer, Sindragar proposed a peace treaty between Aeslengard and Ukrethia, despite his initial reluctance, successfully ending the First Divine Conflict. Peace ensued for a thousand years until Tythos returned from exile, much earlier than anticipated, bringing along with him the Vile Beasts after he learned to control the energy of Sitra Achra. With the vile beasts, Tythos invaded the world, forcing the people of Aeslengard and Ukrethia to cooperate with each other for the first time to defeat them. After Tythos was slain, his heart dropped onto the floor and materialized into what was known as a ‘Fragment of Divinity’, which was considered extremely valuable for the fact that it could be used to ascend a mortal to godhood through trial, according to the lead Arterion God, Infinitarius.

While the Aeslengardians, under strict faith in their god, Sindragar, believed that no human should have the capability to become a god, Ausar encouraged his people to seize the Fragment of Divinity for themselves, with the incentive of becoming his right-hand man when they reached Heaven. This caused the competition between Ukrethians amongst themselves to become extremely high, and has resulted in the loss of many lives within the span of 500 years. After the end of the war, the Aeslengardians retrieved the Fragment of Divinity and kept it securely hidden within a vault, which no one would take advantage of at the time. 200 years later, the Third Divine Conflict would occur with the birth of the Nephilim race.

Within the 200 years following the end of the Second Divine Conflict, against the unanimous decision of the Arterion Gods, Sindragar decided to bless the Aeslengard humans upon birth with the holy water from the Yggdrasil tree. While Ausar had the same idea as Sindragar, Sindragar beat him to it. This action led to the birth of the Nephilim race, who would automatically be guaranteed to have a Chaos Root upon birth unless they were born with a rare birth condition where they could not. Since the chance of obtaining a Chaos Root was rather a niche before the birth of the Nephilims, the Nephilims grew to be the strongest race of all. As such, the Nephilims, in their infancy, began to develop supremacist ideals and with their power, they decided to wage war once more. During the war, the people of Aeslengard were pitted against the rest of the continents of the world, which were under the protection of Ukrethia prior to the birth of the Nephilims. However, after the race emerged, Ukrethia had no choice but to prioritize the safety of its own nation, and the Nephilims ended up conquering a majority of Paymonia. During this time, Ukrethia did its best to protect the City of Avalon–an independent nation who was on neutral terms with practically all countries except for Aeslengard–until they had exhausted whatever additional resources they could provide, leaving the city to fall on its lonesome. In its place, however, would be the ideals that the Godslayer would take on during his quest to defeat the gods, inspired by that of the City of Avalon, which was build as a response to the end of the Second Divine Conflict. The Third Divine Conflict, decided to be the final conflict of all Divine Conflicts between Sindragar and Ausar, ended with the Ukrethians losing the war. Unbeknownst to them, however, the Godslayer would rise in power and begin the Fourth Divine Conflict in an attempt to defeat them all.

The Third Divine Conflict is known to be the most brutal of all Divine Conflicts, as the emergence of the Nephilim race and its rise to power with the Chaos Roots is what led to the largest genocide of mortalkind. Within two decades, the Nephilims had massacred almost the entire population of every race that was not human or Nephilim, creating the largest number of casualties recorded in history. This period also enabled overt racism and Nephilim supremacist ideals, which are still present in the current era albeit less intense, as the Third Divine Conflict is undoubtedly the main event that caused the population count of most races to be extremely low. Because Azelthyrians were hunted constantly by the Aeslengardians, they reside in Exultius to remain safe from the Nephilims. The Draculi on the other hand, who were the Nephilim’s next targets following the end of the war, were tortured excruciatingly. Out of all races, Aerouants, a subspecies that mixed the blood of Azelthyrians and dragons, were the ones who struggled most with survival, as they were, and continue to be, hunted simultaneously by the Nephilims and the Godslayer. Their population as of now is less than 1,000 overall, compared to the hundreds of thousands that existed in the past.

Although not as intense as the Third Divine Conflict, the Fourth Divine Conflict is known to be one of the most important periods of history, as it directly influences the current era. The Third Divine Conflict was decided between the Arterion Gods to be the final Divine Conflict, but unbeknownst to them, a man known as "Evernight" would disrupt the peace of 130 years using the army he had created with his influence and his cunning wit in the utilization of the Chaos Root his superior had passed down to him. As much as Evernight loved mortalkind, he did not share the same sentiment with the celestial entities in Heaven. After successfully defeating Aeslengard and freeing Ukrethia from its authority, he continued to venture further into his quest of justice and went to Heaven to abolish the inhumane reign of the tyrannical gods through a divine ethnic cleansing.

The war took place for roughly fifty years in Heaven, where he spent a majority of the time fighting against the gods. Using his grandiose intelligence, Evernight was able to kill one of the gods that had control over Aeslengard. In response to this, Sindragar sent gods to take care of Evernight, who emerged victorious and ended up slaughtering 3,000 gods and two of the five Arterion Gods. Out of the five, only Ausar and Vanhela, who had surrendered to him, remained, along with five irrelevant gods and Infinitarius, who was nowhere to be seen throughout the conflict. The gods that were killed each became Fragments of Divinity, which were used by Evernight--who would be coined as the Godslayer--to create eighty-one potent weapons called the Astral Armaments. These weapons became his prized possessions, although they would be stolen from his vault by the Imperial Knights during his two year slumber. After he had slain the gods, Evernight decided to return to Paymonia and from there, established a new country that he would call Exultius: a continent that would be null of discrimination as long as one were humanoid. This being said, Nephilims are still likely the least to be liked amongst the others in Exultius due to their history as oppressors.

A historic location built by the cooperation of Azelthyrians and Aerouants after the Second Divine Conflict, it was the first racially diverse nation that allowed races of all mortals to gather and live in harmony. It was also the first to illegalize slavery, autocracy, and feudalism, and to establish democracy and freedom for its people. The protector of its city was the mighty Frostwing and her son, Daedalus, who built the metropolis with his blessed vision.

However, Avalon was utterly destroyed and ransacked by the Nephilims of Aeslengard during the Third Divine Conflict. They were one of the first few to be conquered and enslaved by Aeslengard before the absolute slaughter of their people near the end of the same conflict.

Avalon exists as a symbol of unification and mortal supremacy for Exultius. However, the retaking of the city was made difficult after one of the Greater Vile Beasts made the place its home

Abbreviated as Mu-Ka City, or MKC.

Mutou-Kagyou City is one of the most frequented of all, as people from all continents come to and from MKC to purchase or sell their wares. The city is entirely focused on the business of trade, and is the only place where slavery is legal for the sake of increasing work efficacy. It is also the only place where top-notch businesses’ headquarters are located, as the city does not propose taxes and is very friendly to the field of business. Matou-Kagyou City used to be a zone independent of politics, as it allowed for factions of all kinds to purchase their products, whether weapons, clothes, or household utilities, without being criticized for it, and it allowed for merchants to maximize their profits during wartime. However, ever since the Godslayer took them under his wing, the city has been under Exultius by right, although it is still considered neutral by many and changes little to nothing about the type of people who visit the place.

A Chaos Root is an extension of one’s soul that enables the wielder to cast magic and other variations of powers that may be useful in combat. Without one, a person would not be capable of casting magic or matching their performance against those who possess a Chaos Root. As such, magic without the activation of a Chaos Root is impossible for all in the current era.

Unlike most fantasy settings, the concept of magic and elemental manipulation does not exist in the realm of Paymonia, with the exception of dark and white magic that was known exclusively to the Azelthyrians before their secrets were discovered and demolished by the Nephilims during the Second Divine Conflict. Magic in the setting of Aeon of Heroes is formally called “Purification Art”. Before the Fourth Divine Conflict and the destruction of Exelica, magic was called “Divinity Art”. Regardless of what one’s preference is, Art is an umbrella term for Magic.

Mana is an existing form of arcane energy that is manifested within all things living, a life essence that keeps the body active and functional. Chaos Root abilities do not directly rely on mana. Instead, they [Chaos Roots] utilize the power of the Void (Infinity Chasm) and the Aether (Sitra Achra), which uses mana to convert it into a viable source of energy.

The amount of mana used to convert power into energy is dependent on the user’s experience and the number of marks they have. One cannot truly run out of Void or Aether energy, as its reserves are limitless.

Commonly just called “Marks”. Before activating a Chaos Root, an individual must first confirm that they have active marks on the back of their hands. These marks, which take the form of dark emblems of varying colors on the surface of the skin, indicate how many times they may activate their Chaos Root per session.

For example, an individual with 3 marks can activate their Chaos Root 3 times consecutively without suffering the consequences of forced activation. However, without the marks, or when all marks are used up, the Chaos Root cannot be utilized under normal circumstances and will remain idle until additional marks appear.

The regenerative properties of marks and the maximum amount of marks that one can keep stored are entirely dependent on the individual and their level of talent. For example, many standard Chaos Root users are capable of storing 3 marks in total before it is capped. However, experienced fighters and those in the upper echelons are capable of storing up to 10.

The standard regenerative rate for marks is usually 24 hours per mark. This means that, when used consecutively, one mark will reappear on the skin per day. After three days, the marks will cap and will no longer regenerate until the wielder levels their Chaos Root or uses a mark.

Though difficult and unideal for most, activation of the Chaos Root without marks is technically feasible by substituting one’s marks with a worthy sacrifice. Because the Chaos Root demands a form of equal sacrifice for its overwhelming power, when a mark is not available, the user will require a catalyst.

What constitutes a worthy sacrifice for a Chaos Root depends on the level of value of the physical material. The value is calculated based on its rarity and how replaceable it is.

The most common sacrificial item used to replace the marks is the fingers.

Activation of a Chaos Root without a sacrifice or available marks will send an outburst of shock throughout one’s body. This is known as “Mana Surge”. Once this occurs, it’ll paralyze the individual for a couple of seconds and damage their veins, siphoning their stamina in the process. This action will not activate the Chaos Root and only has downsides. There are no exceptions to this rule, including the most powerful of its users: the Godslayer.

Note: The grade of the catalyst will be dictated by the GM. If your characters have specific items that can replace the marks, please state it in their inventory list. Know that any items that can be mass produced cannot be used as sacrificial catalysts.

Depending on their class, Chaos Root users will harness the power of either the Void (from the Infinity Chasm) or the Aether (from Sitra Achra), which grants them different abilities and enhanced traits upon activating one’s mark(s). A user with a Chaos Root on the first level will have their power increased fivefold (e.g., strength, agility, speed, etc.), compared to a non-Chaos Root user, mainly because activating a mark is difficult on its own, and becomes exponentially stronger with each consecutive level. The initial duration of a mark is fifteen minutes. However, as the Chaos Root’s level increases, so does the duration of the mark, with a ratio of thirty seconds per level. The maximum duration is capped to one hour.

Chaos roots can be inherited in two ways: through birth, or through transferring one’s Chaos Root to someone else. Only two races in Paymonia, the humans and the Nephilims, are capable of being born with a Chaos Root. Humans have a 35-45% chance of being born with one, while Nephilims have a 99% chance–the one percent are those with birth defects.The third option to inheriting a Chaos Root is to inject into the bloodstream a vial of element-infused mana*, which will provide the qualifications necessary for a Chaos Root to manifest in the body.

When one passes down their Chaos Root to someone else, the stats do not transfer over to its new host, especially because the mortal cannot withstand its power without being gradually exposed to it. Because the Chaos Root dies with its host, it is important to transfer it to someone else before death. The Chaos Root can be transferred between hosts of any kind, as it does not discriminate who it is given to. Only a select few can contain multiple Chaos Roots, such as the Godslayer himself.

Mana does not naturally have pure elements in it, which is why other races are not typically born with Chaos Roots. These elements are what allow for a Chaos Root to develop in an embryo, and Nephilims have discovered a way to make vials of this by gathering and killing a horde of people, condensing their mana, and filtering it through divine blood–including that of their own race–where the divine blood’s pure elements would begin to infuse with the mana.This process is laborious and will produce small amounts of purity-infused mana, which will take 1-2 days for the elements to be transferred to the bloodstream. Solara has taken some of these vials from Aeslengard and has given them to her warriors so they may be able to use a Chaos Root more effectively.

The leveling system of the Chaos Root is a tedious momentum that begins fast but progressively becomes slower the further you go. All Chaos Root users follow the same set of rules.

— Chaos Root levels become capped in intervals of 60 until it undergoes Ascension, which can occur a total of five times. These are also known as “breakthroughs”. When one ascends, they may continue leveling up to level 120. This process can continue until the user reaches level 300.

— Gaining enough experience for level 60 is a simple progress that comes with time. However, after the first ascension, the progress becomes significantly more complex due to the amount of experience needed with each increasing level. Experience can be gathered by killing anything, even other mortals, and scales on difficulty (e.g., a small amount of EXP for killing a goblin vs. large amount of EXP from killing a Shaman of Evil or a Night Witch).

— Many items are required for ascension, but a catalyst is the primary item. Catalysts include:
——— One (1) Fragment of Divinity. No other items are needed with this, but it is considered a waste because there are a limited amount of these in the world.
——— Distinctly valuable items obtained from Tier 7-10 monsters.
——— Cimerulite Merazurine crystal. This gem acts like a magnet, pulling in and storing everything around it. As it stores more items, especially those more valuable, its rarity will increase. To level it up, one will have to sacrifice something of great value.
——— A Chaos Root obtained through physical removal from its host. Not recommended and very difficult to successfully procure for the ascension procedure due to the small time window of remaining life. A Chaos Root is considered a magical organ, so removing it from one’s body would cause vital damage to the host.

Classes are predestined upon the core’s materialization, locking the wielder into one of the two in the roster: Hyreus and Archon. Both have significantly different combat styles that will determine the wielder’s future in the world of Paymonia.

♦ Vanguard: The Vanguard class is a mixture of a warrior and tank. Their role is determined by the wielder’s decision. It offers the wielder a great boost in strength, mobility, and endurance.

♦ Protector: In a battle, the role of the protector is to defend an area and offer inspiration spells. They are the only supportive role in the Hyreus class and are considered vital in a battle, due to their immense supportive capabilities that could potentially save the lives of dozens.

Although the exponential increase in power is noticeable, the Slayer class specializes in eliminating tough monsters with devastating attacks, though they lack the ability to break defense.

Flintlock pistols and automatically recharging bows are the most popular among the Archer class.

♦ Healer: Healers do not only fix wounds, but are also capable of combat themselves by replicating the damages done to their ally and reflecting it upon their enemies. While their primary role is to restore health and mana, some offensive abilities (for defensive purposes) exist in their arsenal, making them lethal.

— (Pro): Healer is the ONLY class that can store 5 marks. However, they can only use 3, and transfer the rest to others if they require it. Transferable marks restore every 72 hours.

— (Pro): Can heal most injuries and restore broken bones.

— (Con): Cannot restore fatal injuries in vital organs, although they can buy time until death knocks.

♦ Elementalist: Elementalists can summon earthly elements and manipulate them. From fire to lightning, Elementalists are the golden standard for those who wish to support their party in both damage, buffs, support, and defense. However, while they can replicate and materialize elements from thin air, it takes a considerable amount of energy.

The Monolith of Lunastasia, or simply known as ‘The Monolith’, is an indestructible celestial stone that automatically records the most powerful Chaos Root users across the continent of Paymonia. It is powered by the mythical energies from the Yggdrasil, making it a holy relic protected by Aeslengard.

Other than it being a glorified leaderboard, the Monolith serves as a board of members that control the rules of the Chaos Root. Before the Fourth Divine Conflict and the near extinction of the gods, the ten seats originally belonged to the Arterion God Nevrys’ subordinates, tasked to keep the rules of the Chaos Root fair. However, after the death of Nevrys and his servant gods, the Monolith was modified by the Godslayer’s left hand sorceress, Lady Lunastasia, giving it the new name.

The people of Aeslengard call the Monolith by its old name, “The Divine Pylon”.
