You could, but it would suffer a -3 penalty for targeting more than one person.
Hmm. Bummer. But! I'm nothing if not a risk taker. And I'm able to fight still.

Would I need only one roll, or one roll for each? (Or would Ryan not need to be rolled for given hes a PC?)

Given that I likely didnt pass the resolve for Ganzin. If Ryan doesnt stood him and Ganzin attacks...

Given that Zed is at the ready, would he be able to defend against an attack on the dragon blooded? It throw himself in the path of the attack to take what damage was meant for her if need be?

Will roll again if you wish me to do so for Ryan.

If you're going to make separate rolls, you can ignore the -3 penalty.

You can roll Join Battle, if you want to try and stop Ganzin.

If you don't mind, I'm going to hold off on posting for a bit. I want to give Rykon Rykon a chance to respond to all this.

If a fight does break out. I dont think Zed will be that much of a challenge to Ryan. Zed is hardly geared to do such.

Though if Zed doesnt resist, he would have to make a 4 die limit roll.

On the plus side! Unless something really drastic happens, Zed isn't the type to lash out in anger. So if Ganzin did kill the girl, Zed wouldnt have any reason to fight.

Rykon Rykon
Also for clarification! Zed wasnt going to attack Ganzin. Simply just block and defend Arumi.

I wouldn't expect a lethal throwdown as a player, but the characters haven't traveled together for that long yet.

Also, how is Zedradon at Resolve 4? I thought it was Wits+Integrity/2 round up. Wouldn't that be 3 for him?

They havent. I took that in consideration into Zed not holding anything against them. Aside from maybe a long talk later.

And your right. I think I had wits 4 when I made the calculation but adjusted it after and forgot to recalculate.

OK, I've read up on IC thread. Let me think on how to approach this situation.

Did Quill leave the group behind?

Did Quill leave the group behind?

Red Shadow Claws Red Shadow Claws disappeared from the site, and it wasn't specified what happened to Quill. I was thinking that it could turn out that he stayed with the group all this time, but from here on out he'd fade into the background, providing repair work, Shogunate knowledge and the occasional muscle for the Circle. I'd basically be playing him as an NPC.

jaydude jaydude I've been discussion our triumphant return with Epiphany Epiphany and our suggestion is that a day or two before the checkpoint, Ysandre and Catseye went off on a sidequest to the local elemental courts in order to obtain information on the god of the river we're currently sailing down and which runs past Nalia. Said god would be a very useful ally, and not actually passing through the checkpoint might be very useful to Ysandre who's got a bounty on her pretty and very recognisable head. How does that sound?

That sounds perfectly fine to me.

If the other players are fine with it, I can DM your side quest. Otherwise I might have to skip to when you rejoin the others, having befriended or made contact with the River God.

We were thinking of having only gotten enough information to meet the god later, and then skipping ahead. We don't want to hold up the group more than necessary, and making an ally of a relevant god is not something we should just handwave.

Okay. That works for me.

Also, I'm going to give Zedradon 2 Solar xp for his use of medical knowledge following the fort's capture.

jaydude jaydude would you like us to wait until the potential fighting and rolls have stopped for the fort scene until we spend xp?

Also on a side note. This reminded me of Zed. and had thusly amused me.
