Other Any Christians?

DisneyGirl

it was fun, peace out.
So I was wondering if there were any other Christians on RPN? I've met a few but I'd looove to meet more people who share my faith. Maybe we can even start a little group chat or something for those who want to connect with the Christian community on RPN? Feel free to post!

Good morning. I guess it's a little complicated, but I'm kinda tentatively moving in this direction, I think. I wouldn't mind being part of a Discord or something to discuss and such. If that's okay.

Many years ^33^ I believe no matter how long it's been, there's always something new to be learned, something deeper to experience. It's a journey that you make with God always teaching and bringing you to a new level of understanding.

Amen! We're all in the same boat and have so much to learn from each other, as well.

Kaerri Kaerri and capMARVELOUS capMARVELOUS Awesome! How long have you been Christian? It'll be seven years for me this August :D
Let's see... I was seven when I first converted, so that's twelve years of my life spent in the faith. And only now is it starting to get harder to talk about it.
But hey, I can do all things through Christ.

Now are you saying specifically Christian or just Christianity in general? Cuz I’m Roman Catholic ^^”

Well I used to I guess. I was slowly starting to question my faith up until I was confirmed and then I stopped going to church, mainly cause I found it time consuming and I never did that much worshipping out of church. But with all the doubts sewed into me by my dad and colleagues, I never turned my back on the lord and sometimes I look to him in my hour of need. Prayer is usually what I turn to when I’m out of hope

So, I might be kind of.... unconventional... But I'm a devout christian. Was raised that way (in the deep south, no less) and despite I guess outward appearances and stuff I'm into, I'm still a devout christ follower! Dope to see so many more.

I'm Christian raised Methodist now free Methodist . i do bible studies and like learning .

In today's society it feels like Christians are in the minority; we always have watch what we say ,while other side can say as they please. Not causing drama just stating opinion.

Hey I'm Christian too! Nice to meet some more Christians on here.

I am, but I have to admit that I’m not as into the faith as I’d like to be. I’ve been christian my whole life, but I have a lot of beliefs that can conflict with the Bible. So idk, I’m a weird christian I guess.

When I was young, I went through a crisis of faith. I decided to confess about it during the confession to the priest and what I was told changed my perspective forever.
"It is not a sin to doubt, it is a sin not to seek the answers" (direct translation)

Christianity isn't just about the Bible, ultimately. If your conflicts really conflict with the bible, seek out the answers, I say. Maybe they actually don't conflict at all. Maybe there was something you missed. Or maybe, even, you were right.

Well, make of what I said what you will. But I thought it might be good to share this experience.

Thank you so much. That’s really good advice, and I will try to remember it. <3 I haven’t heard it put that way before.

I'm considering converting to a different Christian denomination. Baptists aren't allowed to dance, but I love dancing. Maybe I'll become a Presbyterian.

Huh, really? Why are you not allowed to dance, if you don't mind my asking?

It's just one of those old dogmas that Baptists held onto throughout history. My church makes a lot of jokes about it, and actively ignores it. So I still dance.

Might I suggest pentecostalism? My church worships with hip-hop and rap and (might I add) Breakdancing.
