Thanks! I'm excited to watch everyone's characters navigate through the ever dangerous and chaotic City of Curtains. I'm trying my best to bring the sights, sounds, pitfalls, and social complexities of Ust Natha to life. And not just for you guys, for me too!
I fall in love with characters, but I also fall in love with great settings. For me, Gotham is a big part of Batman's appeal. Same for Middle Earth and all its characters.

Excellent character! Ka'rte, though presently shunned by Lolth, is the group's closest connection to the all important drow priesthood. For her skills you can add knowledge of Lolth rites & rituals, knowledge of Icharyd, and House politics, seeing as she was a noble.

you might want to give Ka'rte backstory a read (or reread). It's changed, and she's loosely tied with your character. 
One more thing VenusMother: for Ka'rte's personality, drow (and Lolth) rarely value honor and trust. Their Spider Queen promotes dominance, advancement, deception, suspicion, and commitment to their own drow society. The Society and Culture section of the lore thread goes deeper into this.
That said, Ka'rte is approved! I'm excited to see how she'll fit in with the group.

And with that, our group is full! We managed to squeeze in one non-drow into our Underdark roleplay, which is the perfect amount imo.
Remember folks, Ravel is human, but he's also a spellcaster—and those don't grow on trees. Which means while your racist drow characters won't consider him an equal, they'll likely consider him valuable, which is good enough.
