Hey spy are we still accepting apps for peeps who applied before? Nooguy had some real-world stuff that kept him from posting his app.

Yeah Nooguy reached out to me, so they are gonna be our last person for the next little while.

and I think it's a great idea for you guys to work out relationships.

If anyone is curious, males and females have separate cells and the like, but all of the recreation and work areas are coed so there's plenty of opportunities to interact.

relationships don't necessarily have to be positive. If you and somebody else would like your characters to have had some kind of run in that sets up a rivalry or some mutual dislike that would be an interesting element to include as well.

And of course, you don't have to have any pre established relationships at all if it doesn't feel like a good fit.

That does bring up a question though?

I don't know if it's been addressed before, but besides standing out enough to be recruited into the initiative, do our characters necessarily stand out in the facility itself? Like are our characters famous/infamous or are they just faces among a crowd when it comes to other inmates?

Good question! really though its up to you guys. The people who get most of the attention tend to be affiliated with various cliques or factions so by default the answer is probably not. But if you went out of your way to attract attention you probably could.

• Is it against the rules to take food out (If so my character is going to be breaking the rules and it's only the first post.)

Extracurricular

• What activities are there in the facility?
• What items are allowed in the facility?
  • Conversely, what is considered contraband?

TBH, I wanna make my character the leader of some faction/clique. Probably one focused on the arts as that's the easiest way to make Kliff like you.

By merit of my cs being approved there is a gym of some kind! Raymond is always to be caught there, or where ever books may be found! Also he's not at all mistrustful!

Well to be fair, if you're the type to just trust other criminals right off the bat you're probably just a patsy.

The cafeteria serves real food, it's nothing fancy by any stretch but its okay.
You can't take cafeteria food out of the cafeteria, but there's like a prison store where if you've behaving yourself you'll have some credit to buy snacks and the like that you can eat in your cell or outside.

There's actually a decent amount of extracurriculars, but you need to be attending classes to be able to join most of them, for characters that have already graduated there are various practical workshops they can attend or they can apply for a job.

There's definitely an art class and a music class, maybe like a band to join. There's a gardening club, a penpal group you can join probably some kind of book/ literature club. There's a computer room and a club to go with that.

On the subject of contraband and the like, I probably don't have a complete list of everything. It may be a case of telling me what exactly you are interested in. But broadly speaking, anything that's already illegal is obviously out, as well as alcohol tobacco and the like. Electronic devices like phones can't be held but you have access to phones and computers. Anything that's obviously a weapon or could be used as one without modification is banned, any club equipement that might be dangerous is counted befor and after prisoners have access to it.

yeah there's definitely a gym and a library, those would actually be open to most everyone as opposed to some of the other facilities that are a bit more restricted.

More posts from other people? Or more from me? Because I was hoping to get everybody introduced before I moved us forwards, this first post is more of an introduction and an overview of how your character has been doing in prison so far. It shouldn't necessarily require too much to go on. If you need any questions answered feel free to PM me or just ask in the thread.
