He sighed in relief, though he wasn't sure if they were armed. Or worse, whether they were actually sane. People can change quickly in these enviroments, and he wouldn't put it past them to gut him and loot his corpse as soon as they met him. It's what he'd do if he was fighting for his life.
But, not to the living. He hated killing live people, those who hadn't gone insane or weren't a monster.

Isaac checked the street again, and started working on his locator. Opening up the wrist-bound display, he updated it to monitor D.Va's location. If things went south, he could use his thrusters to soften the fall and make his way to them. He opened up his comms and responded quickly
"Okay, I have an idea. I can make my way to you if, and ONLY if you can't get to me. If you REALLY, and I mean REALLY can't get to me, then I'll make my way to you. I've got your location now, but I'm not exactly sure how far away it is."

There was truth to that. The locator worked by showing a line through a path to the destination, and was easily blocked by walls and debris, and only had so long of a length.
"You got that?......D.Va?"

He really didn't want to say THAT, but until he could find her real name, it would do.

"I'm bombing the shit out of you?" Vortex asked from a Firefly providing recon overhead. Then he noticed the look of horror on the giant's face when it saw the ships around getting blown to smithereens. That gave Vortex an idea. "Oh, those are tombs for the captains? I'm sorry, I did not know that." He ordered a squadron of Hornets to switch their targets, bombing the surrounding ships instead. "Whoops. Oh, I'm so sorry. I did not mean to do that." Missiles rained down on more ships, blasting them apart. "Oh, no. Sorry. That was real clumsy of me."

He continued to do this, pulling away some of his tanks to take out the ships instead. The destruction of the ships seem to infuriate the giant, driving it into a fit of blind rage. Vortex hoped that by doing this, he would be able to distract the giant and stall for more time. Enough time for his trump card to get through: a single Manhattan mobile nuke slowly crawling forward behind the tide of metal.

Qrow cracked his knuckles. Turning to follow Magnus "this'll give me room to move" he said to no one in particular as he exited the bar. Stopping once he reached the center of the street. Several civilians began clearing the area. One of them tripping on his way out. A result of The Huntsmans semblance no doubt... who reached behind himself as he extended his weapon to it's full length, resting the greatswords flat edge on his shoulder. Standing boldly without even a hint of fear in the man's bold posture. "You realize if things go bad we can't come back here right?" He commented, turning his attention to the Rodians. "So why don't you do us both a favor and give up now... please..." he never enjoyed reckless violence. But lines has been drawn, and Qrow would rather be on the "good" side with the ones who would win.

Clementine greets the satirical irony of Magnus’ statement with a deadpan gaze as his turned back, and turns her attention to the murderer’s note.

Her lips purse, and she furrows her brow. She reads the letter as quickly as she can, then rereads it in case her limited abilities in the field have made her misunderstand. Two readings later, she descides it hasn’t.

She knows that sometimes, people take pity on small, helpless girls like they imagine her to be. They have illusions of being martyrs, and can rest easily knowing that their ‘good deed’ for the day is complete. She also knows, though - from hazy ‘stranger danger’ classes hidden deep in the pits of her memory and, of course, more recent, firsthand incidents - that others like to take advantage of her helpless appearance. Easy prey.

She glances to the door they exited from, the creatures on their tails, then back to the hastily scrawled not. A concience, not wanting a little girl caught in the crossfire? She just witnessed him murder men in cold blood.

And the rest of it - food and water, armed escorts, a ride to planet 2 - is too good to be true. He can’t honestly expect her to believe him. Things like that...they just don’t happen. Not anymore.

She considers dismissing it, throwing far away from herself. Instead, before she even notices herself doing it, she is folding it into quarters. She smooths the corners carefully, with shaking fingers, under the bright gold light of the Mos Eisley. Then she slips it into her pocket. Just in case, she tells herself, for later reading. She dismisses that she already has it memorised.

Kot Vulal
Kot's Basilisk landed with a rather loud landing near the Mos Eisley Cantina. He absolutely disgusted it, but he had no other option of getting info, Most people around were far from useful to get information. Few tried to even mug him, which ended with their deaths. "Nayla olar." he said to his mount before he entered the cantina. However from what he heard, it could be the best place to found out were his brothers were, his vode. The Mandalorian enters the cantina with the sound of armored boots on the floor. Catching the attention of several of the patrons for a second before they returned to their own business. It was likely they knew what he was, at least that's what he thought. The Mandalorians had made quite a name for them. For both being one of the best warriors in the Galaxy as well as their war with the Republic. He notices several people who seemed like sticking out of the crowd like a sore thumb. Yet, he would most likely either.

One man seemed to be clothed in a rather very unusual manner and didn't seem to wear armor, yet he could be wrong. He notices several dead people on the floor, it seems like he missed a fight. And it seems like most patrons didn't care about the fight. Whatever happened, the man who shot was most likely very accurate with their gun. He also notices a rather young girl, something told him she wouldn't be a big problem. Yet he kept his guard up. The Republic could be here. So he would need to be able to fight when needed.

He walked towards the man with his weapon drawn, looking at him from head to toe. He seemed to wear light to no armor and only using a pistol. Yet, he should see first what that mere pistol could do. From his posture and stance, he could see a small glimpse an experienced combatant. This person could be a warrior. Or someone from a military, someone he might be able to relate to. He looks at the group of thugs. "If you aruetii know what's good for you, you will run." he said, his hand on his Mandalorian Ripper. "Or you will know how we fight Mandalorian way." he added, his accent sounded like poorly pronounced Basic/English. His posture shows he was ready for a fight, even looking forward for one.

Oliver threw down a flashbang dart to stun the symbiotes then dove off the building, swiftly taking another grappling arrow from his quiver and nocking it all in one fluid motion. He fired the arrow at the ledge he leapt off of and held on as he swung down. He released the line once he was able to land on his feet near what looked like another group of survivors.

"We need to get moving now. More of those things are on that roof and will likely be on top of us in a few minutes," Oliver commanded with his voice modifier on.

Tommy had been walking around the desert for a while now, defeating the various creatures that lie within with his ranger abilities. He walked around in a white t-shirt with a grey sweatshirt over his head to protect from the sun as he entered the hive of scum and villainy. He had walked towards a larger building which he could hear music coming from. Upon entering, there were several sights that he had to process. One, a small girl with a backpack. Second, a lightly dressed man with a pistol. Third, a larger man in colored armor. Definitely not a ranger that he recognized. And in the back a man with a cape. Several bodies lay sprawled on the floor as well. He had then heard the armored man spew what sounded like a threat, and the man with the cape held a large broadsword over his shoulder. That was all he needed. Tommy tossed his sweatshirt aside and grabbed his morpher, holding it behind his back.

"I don't know about anyone else, but I don't take lightly to threats. I suggest you leave before you start something you can't finish," Tommy boasted, ready to morph at a moment's notice.

Kira cried out in pain, holding his leg with both hands. "My leg, I've broken it!" Kira wouldn't be able to escape from the symbiotes with his leg out of commission. The symbiote that had stealthily been bonding with him could have easily healed his leg, but not with so many people around. If I healed him with all of these people watching, they'd get suspicious and it would lead to them discovering me. I can't allow that to happen before I've completely bonded with this man, this Yoshikage Kira.

The Mad Queen The Mad Queen

The giant charged into battle behind the lightning monsters, letting out a mighty roar as he sliced through Hornets after Hornet on this way through Vortex's mechanical army.
"If you will not stop, then you will die, as well as countless billions. This entire planet will die." He said in a grim tone "If you value your existence at all, you will stop this!"

The giant to fell to his knees as he saw another bombing run take out a ship, lowering his sword. However, the lightning monsters remained in place, generating miniature EMP pulses to take out squads of the mechanical army.

It was too late

"It matters not." The giant said, defeated "You've just killed us all..."

The ground beneath Vortex's army and that of the giant's defenders began to shake violently. The giant looked down and clenched his fists "Why didn't you just listen to my warnings!?" He screamed at Vortex "You greed has just condemned an entire world, I hope you're pleased with yourself." He spat bitterly, gritting his teeth

The shaking became more and more violent and cracks began to appear in the ground, dragging the remains of ships under as well as some of Vortex's ground forces. More and more ship parts began to fall into the cracks in the Earth as the giant stood to his feet.

He realised that although he couldn't save the world, he could buy it some time. Picking up his sword, he raised it upwards and it was struck by green lightning. The giant screamed as he plunged the sword downwards, sticking it into one of the cracks in the ground. From the strike, a large bubble of energy was formed that started to grow. It didn't take too long for the bubble to reach Vortex, pushing him back while it consumed his army and resources. He still had a view on the giant as he was struck by multiple lightning bolts, screaming as he tried to push through the pain.

He did not let go of the sword as it began to turn to stone, climbing upwards and slowly consuming the giant's arm. He glared down at it and then looked upwards at the drone still observing him as the signal cut out.

Vortex was left stranded outside of the cemetery, with an unknown force tearing what remained of his army to pieces on the inside of a bubble of pure energy.

Brook heard the cry of pain from the man lying on the trash can, and heaved him up. His body swerved wildly, but he managed to balance himself against a nearby wall. "Worry not! Evidently, she was communicating with some kind of missing person, who was still within the city.

As D.Va was talking to the person on the other side of that Den Den Mushi, a sudden loud noise nearly blinded Brook (even though he had no eyes). A small man in a hoodie and armed with a bow dropped in next to Brook, and gave some orders that he could't quite make out among the ringing noise in his ears.
"Ah, sir! You should really be careful with those things! That nearly broke my ears!! Even though I have no ears..... yohohohoho!"

D.Va finally finished talking to the man on the other side of the line, and turned back towards the group. She asked the archer man if he had some rope, and then made a joke towards the purple-suit man, asking if he would climb it. Brook made a shocked face, and said, "Lady! Vortex's processors froze when the giant suddenly said that if he didn't stop, the entire planet would die. That would mean countless billions dead. He did not want that. While he generally loved explosions, he absolutely didn't want so many people to die because of him. "What?!" He cried out through a Firefly. "Why? What the hell is in this place?" Vortex asked, desperate for some answers. He attempted to call off the last wave of bombers, but it was too late. The electrical pulses in the area had disrupted his signals, and as a result, the bombers charged right through and blasted a ship to bits.

Welp, he fucked up. He fucked up badly.

The giant fell to his knees. "It matters not." The giant said, defeated "You've just killed us all..."

The ground began to shake. "Why didn't you just listen to my warnings!?" The giant screamed at Vortex "You greed has just condemned an entire world, I hope you're pleased with yourself." He spat bitterly. Back at base, Vortex was still frozen. "Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck."

Then the ground opened up and swallowed a massive portion of his army. The giant, meanwhile, slowly got to his feet, and with a look of grim determination on his face, raised his massive sword into the sky. It was then struck by a massive bolt of green lightning. The giant screamed, then plunged the sword into the ground.

Instantly, a bubble of blue energy that sent every single gauge and sensor in Vortex's systems through the roof appeared. It began to grow, expanding outwards as the giant was struck by more and more bolts. The bubble consumed Vortex's buildings and units, causing each of them to disintegrate into ash.

The last thing Vortex's optics received was the giant glaring at a critically-damaged Firefly before-

-his systems shut down. He shut down. He restarted. He couldn't feel his army. Panicking again, he looked around, only to come face to face with a massive blue wall of energy. Inside, he could still hear explosions, but his sensors couldn't penetrate the wall of pure energy.

The giant... he sacrificed himself to prevent the world from ending, prevent the world from ending because of Vortex's own stubbornness. The Commander didn't mean for that to happen. He was trying to survive, get a bearing of where he was. He thought he could be like all those other Commanders before him. He thought he would be able to make a difference. Instead, he practically began the apocalypse.

Fuck.

Why did he always have to screw everything up?

Vortex took one final look at the energy bubble, swallowed his self-pity and guilt, loaded himself onto a surviving Pelican, and travelled the other direction, accompanied by a single Kestrel, two Hornets, one Firefly, and a handful of air fabricators.

The remains of Vortex's military touched down on solid ground beyond the ocean, on a desolate and barren wasteland. The minute Vortex's Commander body touched the ground, he collapsed to his knees. "Fuck. Can't do this." He sobbed, voice unsteady. "Can't do anything without fucking up. I try to cook, I set the kitchen on fire. I try building some furniture, I break the shelf. I try to be artistic, I spill paint everywhere. I try to survive, I cause the apocalypse. Fuck me." He rocked back and forth.

He stayed like this for several more minutes, before he slowly rose again, a look of grim determination on his face... well, if he had one. "No, no. You've been pitying yourself for too long, James." He told himself, trying to ignore the sound of his voice breaking. "You can do this. I can do this."

He stood up to his full height, deleted any remaining thoughts of self-doubt and loathing, and built a metal extractor.

"It's time to start over."

Jotaro continued to pummel any creature that leapt at him with Star Platinum, but the others looked like they were having a bit of trouble. He decided he should relieve some tension from the situation. He sharply inhaled with his eyes shut, then opened them and yelled out.

"STAR PLATINUM: THE WORLD!" With that, the flow of time stopped moving for all but Jotaro. Nothing moved, no sounds even. Knowing he only had five seconds of movement, he had to move fast. He quickly started up a jog closer to his companions, Star Platinum beating down anything in the way that was either stuck in the air or frozen on the ground. His Stand's fists beat down anything that wasn't humanoid. Once the five seconds were up, time resumed its normal flow and all the blows he struck in stopped time began to register. Oliver brought out one of his grappling arrows and began undoing it so that the cord could be used as a rope to tie a splint. In that moment, he took a look around to see what exactly comprised this group. It was a rather odd group, composed of a younger girl with a mech, a walking skeleton, and a smaller child with a larger companion. What had the world come to? What caused something like this to even happen? He knew something wasn't right, that this wasn't how things were supposed to be, but he couldn't place his finger on a point of nexus that would cause the world to end up like this. He awoke to see an amber sky. Smoke filled his nostrils as he heard a familiar noise: fighting. As he sat up, he found himself upon a city street, though it was not like any city he had seen before. Abominations surrounded him, and instinct took over as the thin man clambered to his foot (and peg) to grab his sword upon the ground where it lay. Gehrman whirled around, seeing that they were everywhere. He loaded his blunderbuss and readied his sword, while looking for an exit. Though he was a Hunter of Yharnam, he wasn't a fool.

"Vile beasts!"

He said, waving his free hand. His helmet folded down to reveal a bloodied and battered face, greying hair, and blue eyes.
"You the guys I called?"

He wasn't sure if he should jump down to meet them, but once he saw them, he knew he could probably survive.
"Stand back!"

His helmet folded back onto his head as he took a few steps back, got a running start and jumped. As he fell flaps opened from his back and behind his ankles, firing his RIG's built-in thrusters. They were meant for Zero-G, but even in normal gravity they slowed him enough that he could land on the street and sprint over to the group, panting.
"Okay.....let's not do that again..."

An infected citizen came flying out of a building behind the group, smashing into the ground as paper fluttered in the air. The reason it had been sent flying in the first place? A high-velocity metal drawer to the face, which landed next to it with a loud clang. As he walked outside, he stepped in front of the Mandalorian. He continued to hold his morpher behind him, but he thought he may as well morph into the White Ranger to level the playing field. This creep had already threatened the people inside, and there were certainly other people that needed to be taught a lesson as well. Talking wasn't going to get anywhere with this guy, so the time to fight was now.

Kot looked through his T-shaped visor as the man walked closer to him. A frown appearing on his head, watching as the man's equipment 'transformed' into what seems like white armor. From what he saw, it would most likely be light armor, except for his helmet. Only covering his torso and parts of his arms. Needless to say, he didn't seem that impressed. What he found even less impressive was that the boy didn't wear his armor all the time. Armor was for Kot like a second skin. He took his own stance, seemingly heavily focusing on offense but not lacking defense. This boy better be giving him a worthy fight, though he doubted it. "If you think you can do it, show this Mando that you can."
He started the fight, feigning an uppercut at his chin before trying to ram into him with his right shoulder.

However, he was hit with the shoulder and staggered back. He shook his head and rushed in. He leaped up in the air and bicycle kicked the Mandalorian with great strength.

"Fierfek." he muttered. He seemed surprised a lot by the boy's strenght. He looked at his armor for a second, there was dent in it. That took him completely off-guard. The boy kicked a dent into his armor. "A dent into my Beskar'garm by a kick... impressive. You manage to dent the toughest metal in the Galaxy..." he muttered as he went into the defenses. His movement was a lot more cautious than when he went into the fight. Seeing what the man could do, who knows what else he could do. For now, he assesed his oponent. He was taken surprise by the feign, but it probably won't work again. He needed a new tactic and he needed it fast. Or this fight would be as one sided as a droid against a Wookiee.

Wasteland
By the time the sun began to fall towards the horizon, Vortex had managed to rebuild most of his infrastructure, albeit at a slightly slower rate due to not having as much metal as before. This time, however, he made sure his base was more defended. Hundreds of laser turrets lined the sides of his base, with artillery and Catapults deep inside, advanced radars in each of his outposts. Several orbital launchers had been set up, and ARKYD satellites and Hermes space probes were orbiting the planet, scanning every geometrical feature.

While he was still constructing, he had received an alert from a Firehawk. It had discovered ruins in the area and scattered bastions of civilisation in this desolate wasteland. Vortex decided that it would be top priority to get into contact with other people. It was ideal to make some friends, in a tactical and strategic sort of way. The Commander first set off designing a new form of frontline robotic infantry to replace his Doxes.

Doxes weren’t exactly very big bots. At seven and a half feet, they still towered over most humans he'd seen. Yes, not short, but not too tall either. They were fairly good at harassment, and their two laser cannons were fairly effective against others of their type, even if they were peashooters in comparison to the bigger and meaner bots.

The only problem was that they were massive targets and quite honestly were pretty shit. They were completely terrible on their own, and their greatest strength was their numbers, being cheap and easy to produce.

Vortex started from scratch, using a model of human anatomy as a reference. He started with a vaguely-human chassis made from Progenitor alloys. Then he gave their limbs ball joints and servo motors. Hydraulics in its structure allowed it to be faster and stronger than a human. A set of advanced optics was added to its head, with its processing unit being located in its chest. With that done, he finished by adding a layer of armour plating.

He decided to name them Grunts, since they were designed to be his frontline infantry and have a relatively decent survivability. These guys were smaller than the Doxes, standing at a reasonable six foot two, and were more sophisticated and more optimised for urban warfare, yet were still cheap enough to be churned out in massive numbers. Their armour was weaker than a Dox’s but still durable enough to shrug off most small arms fire without much harm. They were roughly three times stronger than a human, and their advanced hydraulics allowed them to sprint much faster than even world-class sprinters like Usain Bolt. The bot was painted Vortex's blue and blue colour scheme.

Next, he began to design the standard-issue infantry weapon. He began with a basic model of an assault rifle, and began to work from there. Powered by a series of powerful electromagnetic coils wrapped around the barrel powered by a long-lasting and hyper-efficient battery that only needed to be swapped out every few years after continuous fire, hyperdense ferromagnetic armour-piercing .50 caliber projectiles would be accelerated down the barrel at speeds exceeding mach five. A built-in mini fabricator in each of Vortex's infantry units produced additional magazines filled with thirty-two rounds, such that each unit had pretty much infinite ammo. Each mag also required a minuscule amount of metal, too, so all was good. It would be named the Mass Accelerated Combat Rifle, or MACR (pronounced ‘macer’, yay for acronyms) for short.

His new line of basic infantry ready, he modified his bot factories to produce squads instead of the single-unit restriction baseline ones had and set them to work.

He'd already designed a pair of infantry carriers, since they were really just copies of the Terrex 2 and Armadillo APCs modified with Progenitor tech. Their weapon systems were also similar, armed with machine guns and grenade launchers. Vortex loaded a squad into each vehicle and sent the convoy to the largest settlement in the area, accompanied by several fabrication vehicles.

Adam
Metro-Gotham
Having similar hearing capabilities to Jolie, Adam heard the music as well in the distance even if it wasn't exactly at the spot Jolie was hearing it from. Being cautious, and having experienced stuff like this before, Adam un slung his rifle again, and aimed it forward being prepared to shoot if anything popped out or anything of that nature. He never heard the song before but knew of it because he was imbued with stuff about the culture of humans before him.

"Nope, I hear it too, unless we are going mad together..." Adam tactically moved behind Jolie watching in front of her, but her being less cautious and not having the instincts needed of someone like Adam drew her revolver only now, with a wall of boxes infront of them and now expecting a trap she listened in on it, but with nothing she opened up the box.

Eventually he was met with something someone would consider crazy looking, or something of that nature, it was a mannequin, a live talking mannequin, giving it some thought, and analyzing it, it definitely was one that came to life somehow, circumstances were weird...

Then the mannequin talked about a criminal crocodile down here, and all Adam could do was sigh, this whole damn situation was cooky... And now granola, by god this was irritating.

Jolie was obviously the more friendly one, so she offered the speaking role here, in a situation where this bullshit was getting old quickly.

But now Jolie was poking fun at the irony of this, but Adam was simply trying to ride the wave to avoid getting more annoyed, it was grating at his nerves right now so he didn't bite.

"All I see in this damn sewer is crazy bullshit, and a situation that is getting old fast." He stated quite bluntly and coldly showing his obvious disdain for the situation and annoyance.

But now Jolie in her attempt to be friendly with this mannequin thrusted Adam into the role of loving Granola and wanting to have some literally now pushing him into the situation, even if it was playfully and to look friendly. He very simply and subtly flipped her off while now hiding his annoyance under a friendly guise honestly now looking and sounding like a different person someone more friendly and warm.

"Oh yeah, I would actually love some Granola if you would be so kind to give it to me." Adam honestly was really questioning why he was going along with it, especially with a situation that was chipping away at his sanity. So in the mean time, to just to try to calm down and relax Adam lifted his helmet up, and pulled out one of his bottles of alcohol and began drinking, feeling a bit more better and to dull his annoyance he then offered it around asking. "Anyone want a sip or no?"

Qrow watched Magnus take row one of the Rodians. "Nice form" he commented. Then his eyes landed on the Rodian taking aim at Magnus. "Behind you!" He called out, leveling his blade at the would be killer as it folded down, making twin barrels more prominent, with a bang the Rodian was filled with buckshot and klled instantly. Qrow sighed "idiot..." he looked around. "I think we should leave" he told Magnus, looking around at the small crowd that began to form.
