The only thing I want to say/add is that if you are opening a scene different from the ones provided, please run it by the group first. I just want to make sure we have a chance to discuss and add input before it opens.

That sounds like the sort of dramatic gesture Vold would totally go for. He is a shameless showman in his antics.

Something I should mention, having checked the info about stunts - they're being very permissive about it in 3e. Page 187 says and I quote "Players should be able to use
a one-point stunt on almost every action."

So as long as we're using a colorful description, we can add at least the level 1 stunts to all our rolls or static values. If not deemed better by the ST.

Exactly. Given the format, everything will basically always be a one-point stunt. I also foresee a lot of two-point stunts.

It looks like the only option we have is to use a off site dice roller until such time as the staff adds in one on here again.

Blackadder I just read it three times. I'm pretty sure that you guys can make decisive attacks on battle groups. They just can do them back. Battle groups can only use withering attacks. Maybe I"m reading it wrong?

Sorry, quick clarifications:

What is Cyrus's Resolve (specifically how much less than Hadria's Appearance of 4)?
Then would the roll be Manipulation+Presence? (1 point stunt?)
Any correct guesses for a related Intimacy? (If so, how many dice/what strength?)

Or maybe this counts as a Bargain, since she's saying he'll get twice what he's owed? And, just to be clear, she's said he "will receive twice what you've earned for your little change of heart," which she's hoping he interprets as two wagons or twice his previously established pay, but certainly to her (and many other cultures) thieves and would-be thieves receive a cut-off hand. She plans on cutting off both of his, to keep to her oath. (I should have said this in the initial post, as he could try and read her intentions back. Sorry for that oversight.)

Normally, she'd do some read intentions on people to understand them, before running a scheme with them, but for now I'll just say the distraction of the dead everywhere precluded her being as careful as normal.

So, itemized:

1. What Attribute+Ability should I be using (if not Mani+Pres)?
2. How many extra dice (stunt-, Appearance-, or Intimacy-based)?

Its a learning curve for all of us. I posted my Join Battle roll, and IIRC, did 5 health levels of damage with the explosive arrow to everything in the blast, resetting my initiative back to 3 for me to build up with Withering attacks.
