Ackara shuddered, eyes wide. "U-Uh, Marr?" She asked nervously, looking down at him. "Marr?! Please don't die Marr!" They must have all been very panicked, because she couldn't tell he wasn't dead. "H-Harken, what do I do?! Sh-Should I push?!" She asked frantically.

As the blood dripped onto the palm of her hand, Sylvia half-expected it to hurt, or feel warm...yet there was nothing. She felt the drops but after that...nothing! Her eyes move from Red's to the remnants of the blood stains on her hand. Then a surge of energy, she felt alive and unstoppable. The bones in her body mended and hardened, her muscles grew stronger, and her lungs could fill with more air. She wasn't super-human, far from it...but she certainly felt like it.

Red would speak to her, expressing an interest in the huntress and even offering to stay at her side. Though it'd be awkward to have the demon assume various forms other than human – though it's not like the others knew what she was. Sylvia would give Red a small nod, letting her know that she did not mind having Red around...though it'd certainly be interesting trying to explain Red to Honus.

The ruins would soon calm, the whirlwind of ash and debris subsiding and the energy flowing back to its master. No aches, no pain, nothing...she was renewed! A quick diagnostic of her mobility and strength and she was ready to get back to hunting. "Let's get back..." Sylvia would say with a smile, she was grateful for this deal no matter what the price these favors Red would ask it would no doubt be worth it. One thought crossed the Shroud's mind, what exactly would these favors be...and COULD she resist the demon's request or would she simply be a tool for Red to use?

"Oh, FUCK!" Kendra yelped panickedly, leaping backwards as the human's scythe began to glow a bright red. "Holy shit, I've got a badass on my side!" She laughed, her fear shifting into pride and confidence. She didn't understand just how powerful Tykus was yet, of course, but she was beginning to realize he wasn't a typical mortal. She somewhat confused as to why he was protecting her, however - Zera was right. He seemed to be a member of the Red Hoods, and those assholes hated creatures like Kendra. It didn't make sense for him to protect her.

Maybe he just thinks Zera's monsters are a bigger threat than me and wants to take them out first, and once they're all dead, he'll just kill me.... She thought with a frown. Buuuuut he's helping me now, and I really need some backup to take these guys down, so... I'll just fly away if he tries to attack me, I guess. It's not like he can fly, haha... Wait, can he? Shit, I hope not. She scratched at her neck with her foreleg, deep in thought, before snapping back into reality as the demon lady speak. Kendra narrowed her eyes and let out a low growl at her words, shaking her head.

"No way am I surrendering now, bitch," The weredrak hissed at Zera, slinking forwards threateningly. "Especially not to the likes of you. So go on - send your pathetic pets after me. I can take em." Her eyes glowed with excitement and confidence as her terror slipped away. Adrenaline pumped through her veins as she glanced towards the human and flashed him a grin. "Hey, mystery man! Let's teach these sons of bitches a lesson, eh?" She cackled before leaping into the air, hovering above the field and blasting a ray of fire at Zera's monsters, making sure not to hit Tykus.

Seeing the fire above me, I dashed right through the fire, in hopes of catching one of them by surprise at it tries to defend itself from the fire. The flame's heat felt almost unbearable, to the point where I yelled out in both pain, and anger. Only strengthening my power, I kept charging forward and found my self leaping into the air, heading straight towards the pack of demons. Swinging my blade, I unleashed all I could into this blow "Mark them for death, and deliver a fatal blow my faithful champion!" The scythe practically screaming as scythe neared the demon and increasing in both size and edge. Memories came flooding back, and i soon began feeling tears rolling down my eyes. I will be strong enough to protect her, strong enough to bring her back!

Red nodded and burst into a flock of ravens for a fraction of a moment before reverting to her previous form: an innocent white cat. She hoped Honus would be too elated that Syl was alright now to wonder how, in a span of under an hour, she'd gone from critical condition to not only up and about but empowered. Absentmindedly with some direction at Syl, Red muttered, "I hope you thought ahead to how you'll reason to that hunter how you're suddenly back in pristine condition... Until then, yes, we should head back... my cast is almost fading."

Running a paw over her ears, those luminous blue eyes met Sylvia's. The cat smiled back to the extent its features would allow. "For his sake, you should never reveal me to him. It would bode ill for his fragile human body..." It wasn't a threat, more a warning. Red wanted as few people to know about her as possible and she had a feeling the Hood wouldn't take her existence lightly. After all, weren't they warriors sworn to exterminate all dark things from the world? A little quieter as she turned away, the demoness made a passing comment about hunger. Her favor could always turn into asking for Sylvia's soul if matters came to that... it wouldn't kill the Hood, actually it wouldn't do much of anything but prevent other demons from making deals with her. Their link would be stronger than the simple blood mark. Red could have a follower for the first time in decades...

That excited the feline, her tail flicking quicker as she thought of it. And it could bode well for the Hood as well. Red always took good care of her contracts. A closer bond could mean more help from Red when Syl needed it. It would be a risk, but she asked nonetheless,
Would you want more power at some point..?

Zera smirked as the dragon blew fire down at ther and her pets. "Fine then." She said with a smirk as she held her right hand out and immediately a wall of nothing but shadow and darkness suddenly appeared stopping the fire and the man in its tracks as she chuckled and looked to the demons who all roared and moved out. Adair and Haruda shot up into the air then shot at the dragon with loud screeches as they both struck with lightning speed aiming to bring the beast to the ground while Diagi also chardged out and leapt up aiming to grab the dragons feet while the others followed. Zera though stayed to deal with the human. Smirking as a tendril of darkness shot out of nowhere at the human then a massive block from underneath the human before two more tendrils from the top. "I'll make a deal human. If you leave, if you put your blade down.... I will let her live." She said to him in a small seductive hiss

Kendra's eyes widened in surprise as the shadowy wall interrupted her attack, the flames flickering uselessly as they struck it, slowly dwindling into nothing but smoking ash. She started to hiss a swear under her breath, but was stopped mid-word as two of the monsters smacked into her, sending the dragon tumbling to the ground. She managed to tilt her body enough that she slammed into a tree, allowing her to dig her claws into it and leap off of it with a furious roar, flapping her wings and forcing herself back into the air.

The weredrak looked around weakly, panting, spotting Diagi and just barely managing to dodge the attack, although her forelegs still got scraped up pretty badly by the beast's claws. She roared once again before unleashing another wave of fire, this time aiming for the trees surrounding the monsters rather than the beasts themselves. The towering oaks and pines began to blaze and burn, swaying awkwardly before tumbling to the ground, spreading the flames from shrub to shrub and from tree to tree.

Kendra grinned maliciously as the flames began to encircle the beasts, the surrounding trees threatening to fall on top of them at any minute. She figured they could probably escape, but they might be stalled long enough to give her enough time to launch a second attack.

The dragon dove downwards, fangs bared, claws outstretched, her tail lashing. She dug her claws into the back of Diagi, clinging to it, breathing fire onto its neck and jabbing it with the tip of her tail. She held on for dear life, well aware of the fact that it would do anything and everything to get her off, but she was determined not to let go - she dragged her claws along its sides, smoke pouring from her nostrils as she breathed another column of fire at the back of its head, snarling angrily.

*Fade to black because no one wants to see the rest*

By the time about an hour later, Ackara held two little bundles in her arms. One was a little boy with wispy blond hair, the other a tiny little girl with Ackara's own brown hair. They both seemed rather healthy, just a bit under weight. "Oh..." Ackara whispered, eyes wide as she rocked them back and forth. "They're perfect... Thank you Harken..." The little boy's eyes slowly fluttered open, their bright blue color showing. He seemed fascinated by his mother's furry ears and he reached up when Ackara bent her head down to let him see them. His grip was pretty strong and Ackara winced as he pulled a bit. "O-Okay sweetie... No more with Mommy's ears okay?" She smiled at both of them before looking at Harken. "I-Is Marius alright?"

As Red spoke to her, Sylvia would slowly make her way back to the hut with the white cat at her side. Her eyes were elsewhere, as if taking what the demon said in careful consideration...and then the question of Sylvia's desire for power. This made the huntress stop in her tracks, she hadn't been one to rely on others for help or strength and this deal was just to get her back on her feet. "I..." she began, thinking hard about the question. Sylvia never felt this good in quite a while...and if Red could do more for her in the long-run it'd be a victory for all hunters – even if it was against everything they stood for. The Red Shroud wasn't one to shy away from the hard decisions...unless it involved her family – though her damn brother always had an effect on her..she just couldn't end him whenever she was granted the opportunity! "I don't know...You would require more from me, yes?" she asked, her steps continuing towards Harken's house.

Thalia Elderkin
Howls echo through the nighttime forest, a pack had just claimed several kills – her pack. They gorge themselves on the much-needed nourishment of the large buck they took down. Thalia had made sure to let the young ones eat first, they needed to keep their strength more than she did. She was the last to eat, not because it was the hierarchy but because she cares about the health of those in the pack. She wasn't a hunter, a mother, or a leader – she was a nobody.

After the meal, the woman would shift back, wiping away remnants of the nutritious meal from her mouth as she grabbed the bag nearby that contained her clothes. Before dressing herself however, her head would turn towards the sound of wind and the feeling of a strange energy. "Alden...I'll meet you back at the usual spot." she spoke to a rather large wolf before shifting back to her wolf form and sliding the bag of clothes around her body. Thalia would need a spot to place them for later...but for right now her attention was turned to the power-surge somewhere deep in the forest.

After several minutes of traveling the odd power would fade and she was left near a hut that smelled of wolfkin who weren't a part of her pack. Her golden eyes gleamed in moonlight as she looked upon the hut. Her ears would twitch as she heard the heavy emotion-filled gasps of a human. Thalia searched for the man, worried that he may be hurt or worse. Unlike the kin of her pack, Thalia never had issues with humans – just the ones that sought to harm and kill the wolfkin.

The silent predator would duck low in the brush and approach the end of the forest's safety, finding a male collapsed at the back of the house. She felt bad for him, there was obviously something wrong...but nowadays with the Hoods and the 'bad' werewolves relations between wolves and humans have been severely strained. No man would think that she was a normal dog.

The beasts weren't fazed by the fire and all quickly reacted when she grabbed diagi who only roared in rage and immediately grabbed onto one of her wings and ripped her down. Boruka was quickly to attack as well by leaping onto the dragon with shear force. Boruka was a lot heavier than he looked so when he landed it caused quite a rumble as he immediately bit down onto the dragons neck while Diagi manadged to get into a position to attack back and locked his jaws on her tail and wouldn't let go

"HEY, UGLY! OVER HERE!" Thalia screamed, drawing her bow and nocking an arrow, "HEY! I'M OVER HERE!" she screamed again, shooting and nocking an arrow, shooting, and nocking, again and again.

The man heaved his feelings onto the forest floor silently, barely able to breathe as everything hit him at once. This day had been too long, had gone on for too long. He wanted to wake up from this nightmare, and go back to the Hoods. Now he had a son, and a conscience about killing these creatures. The man curled his hands into fists and hit the ground rather hardly, not wanting to deal with this life anymore. It was too much for him. He couldn't.

But something seemed off, the fact that he felt something was watching him, he couldn't get it out of his head. Also, how long had it been since he started his isolation? How much had occurred? It must be near morning by this point. as the sky seemed a bit lighter. Morning was surely on its way. But something gave him the sense that something was near. But all he could do is keep himself from crying out in pain.

Marius groaned as he rolled over onto his side on the floor. The back of his head throbbing painfully where it made contact with the floor. "Oh Gods....I hurt all over now. Harken...h-how is she doing? Do you still need the towels? Or some water?" His joints cracked and popped as he sat up. "Are the pups or pup alright?....where's my fath---er.....Honus?" He had so many questions swimming around his head and he had only just woken up after his unplanned nap.

Kendra roared in pain as one of the monsters grabbed ahold of her wings and ripped her off of Diagi, flinging her onto ground as a second leaped atop her, pinning the dragoness down. She hissed as a searing pain spread throughout her tail, and was unsurprised to find that Diagi had clamped his jaws down on it.

She pulled her hind legs back and kicked with all the force in her body, knocking Boruka off of her, into the air, and straight into a tree. The dragon snorted in amusement as the beast smacked into the pine, but she was quick to straighten herself up as her attention returned to Diagi. She lashed her tail about wildly, struggling to free it from the creature's grasp, but realized almost immediately there was no way he was letting go.

Kendra narrowed her eyes, unsure of what to do, when an old memory suddenly returned to her - her mother crouched beside her, hissing "Aim for the eyes!" into her ear as she stood, dagger drawn, glaring at the dying dragon straight ahead of her...

Immediately she slashed at Diagi's face, her claws glinting brilliantly in the moonlight as she struck, aiming straight for his eyes - just as Mother had said. If her attack landed, the beast would be blinded, most likely for life. It was entirely possible for the wound to be shallow enough for his vision to eventually recover, however.

Either way, it was enough to get him to release her tail, and that was Kendra's signal to take the fuck off. She took to the sky immediately, blasting fire at the ground beneath her before fleeing in a random direction. She fully intended to return and continue the fight - Kendra just needed a break. She figured the monsters would probably follow her, anyway, but there was no way they could get her while she was this high up. Hopefully the human would be okay... Speaking of which, she was pretty sure she'd spotted a second human armed with a bow being attacked... Kendra went and ahead and decided the poor fool was probably dead. Mortals never lasted long in combat against beasts...

Kendra eventually spotted a small cottage (Harken's house) ahead of her and came in for a landing beside it, the ground shaking as her feet struck it with a loud thud. Ah, shit, that was loud, Kendra thought with a frown. Hopefully no one was home - anyone inside would surely have heard her...

She lowered her head to the window, staring inside with a massive yellow eye and flinching away in alarm as she spotted three people standing inside the humble structure. She swore under her breath, stepping backwards and noticing a wolf crouched beside the door. Immediately, the concern of the trio inside the cottage faded as Kendra's hunger returned, drool oozing from her jaws as she stared at the dog. Wolves weren't particularly appetizing, but just one might be enough to satiate her growling stomach for some time...

She shook her head wildly, shoving her thoughts aside. As much as she wanted to eat the damn thing, Kendra was well-aware of the fact that the dog was most likely a werewolf, and werewolves usually live in packs, and the pack would probably be pretty damn pissed off if they found out one of their kin had gotten devoured by a lumbering dragon... Maybe even pissed off enough to go after Kendra.

It was also, of course, possible that she was just a mere omega and Kendra could eat her with no consequences whatsoever... But she'd rather not take that risk.

Her eyes flitted toward a man lying in the grass, limp and seemingly dead. The fuck's up with him? She thought, raising an eyebrow and stomping noisily toward the man, curious as to whether he was a carcass she could eat or not. She nudged him warily, rolling him onto his back, staring at him closely. "Are you alive?" She growled, her voice low, but still unnervingly loud.

Red nodded simply. It was a risk asking and here she saw the loyalty Syl carried to the Hoods. Deals with demons wouldn't settle well with someone like her, but here she was. Just a taste of power is enough to get any human excited. The Hood might be back on her feet but the demoness was far from what she would consider alright. "You don't have to decide now- or even tonight- or this month or year," the feline muttered softly

Her gaze fell to her paws, one in front of the other as they kept on their way back to the witch's hut. She was invigorated and painfully weak at the same time. Their little deal was practically a beacon to anything in the area and the demon wondered if she would be able to defeat anything that came at her from these woods. The wendigo had been trouble enough. The feline paused to stretch, then stopped at the base of the hut, looking to the open window.
"Are we going back in that way?"

"Hey idiot, wake up you were knocked out" The scythe spoke up, " You want to save her right? Then get up, or maybe she will die like your sister." The scythe began speaking, but soon was stopped. I jumped into my feet, and grabbed my scythe, Looking on to the injured dragon fleeing. Turning my gaze to the demons, I found that I once again snapped like that night. "Don't touch her! STOP HURTING HER" I roared loudly before seeing a darkness engulf me
------
All around the man known as the FateReaper, a red substance began engulf him. A maniacal laughter soon broke out, "With a sweep of the scythe the the harvest is completed. With a sweep of the scythe the souls will be reaped!" The new voice began singing maniacally. In an instant, he dashed towards the demons, and in a dance of death, slicing at every thing in near him. With every slice a wave of blood as sharp as the blade itself flew in all directions. He looked almost as a dancer with his movements and spins combined with the attacks.

Sylvia would glance up at the window and then back down at the cat before nodding. "Aye. Same as the last time?", she questions Red. She was ready to be transformed again, however, it wasn't like she could really reach the window...not if she wanted to be crawling all over Harken's hut just to get back in bed. "Let's hurry...Honus could come back at any time." Sylvia was prepared for the tingle of power coursing through her body and the short and delightful in its own way. Her train of thought was interrupted by a loud thud and a quaking of the ground beneath her feet. She turns her head to find a large scaled creature – something she had only seen in stories...it was a dragon. The massive lizard would exit from her line of sight after peeking through the window in Harken’s hut and ducking promptly. Its tail would follow after it like a snake as it turned to the back of the quaint home. Sylvia's first instinct was to leave it be and rush inside to warn the others... "Gods...Look at the size of that thing...", she would murmur as she stood there completely stunned.

Thalia Elderkin
Thalia's ears would perk at the sound of a woman's voice but then her attention would be drawn to a pair of bright yellow orbs staring directly at her. The giant lizard would have quite a bit of drool pouring from its mouth, it was rather disturbing to think that it wanted to eat her. Thalia would lower her head as the fur on her body stood straight up, this helped make her look meatier and fiercer but this tactic worked better on beings of nature smaller than her of course – this winged creature had a gleam of intelligence in its eyes. Thalia would bear her fangs and emit a low growl of warning to the creature which very soon turned its attention to the man Thalia had been intrigued by.

The wolf would pick up what the dragon had said, asking the human if he was still alive. Though she probably misinterpreted the situation the wolf darts to divide the human and the dragon, a low growl coming from her as she bared her teeth. "This one is not for eating..." Why had she done this, step out to protect a human?... Normally she would have hidden away and kept an eye on them, only intervening when they most needed it. This one is not in immediate danger, she wasn't even certain if the dragon intended to devour the human.

As the male laid low, vulnerable to death and to fate as it may come, two creatures came to him, both of which, as he did not look, he felt they were surely dogs. Tears still fresh on his face, the man made no movement to get up. The one seemingly stepped in to finish him, but it asked if he were alive. If he did not respond, perhaps it would kill him. But before he could reply, the other stepped in to defend him? It all became so strange, everything was getting to that point. He was Hood, proud and never broken, but yet here he was given mercy by the creatures he sought to vanquish.

The man, completely without constitution, decided to speak. "Oh look, it seems I've drawn a fucking crowd," he said with bitter speech, slowly rising from his stooped state. He looked terrible, his eyes stained with tears over the pure heartache he had. His own son, a werewolf, a mistake. He saw the two creatures for what they were, and made no movement towards a weapon. "Do you not fear this Hood? I'm a Hood, you're beasts. Why bother even try to save my life?"

Boruka and diagi roared in vicious victory and the fleeing dragon. "Coward." Zera mumbled before she turned to see the human with a scythe and sighed shaking her head before she held her hand out and flung it up. Suddenly another wall of shadow burst into existence blocking his path before another behind him then two more on the sides. Then they all started to bend Inward to create a dome over the man. The movements were slow but still the window of light above him was quickly shrinking as zera appeared inside the dome and spoke. "Why do you fight?" She asked him

Kendra's eyes widened in surprise as the wolf she'd seen earlier suddenly leaped in front of the supposedly-dead man, snarling angrily. She chuckled at the creature's words, shaking her head and narrowing her eyes.

"As if a measly wolf could stop me!" She snorted, rolling her eyes. "I could kill you with a sweep of my tail, you pitiful little thing. And besides, I was only gonna eat the man if he was dead," She growled, flicking her gaze over to Honus. "Which he evidently isn't, seeing as he's breathing. Probably just drunk." She lifted her head and sat down, curling her tail around her feet.

Her eyes widened once more as the man suddenly spoke, much to Kendra's surprise. Her shock quickly shifted into amusement, however, as she processed his words. "Why would I fear you?" She laughed. "Why, I could swallow you whole if I wanted to! I could roast you alive! You're no threat to me. The only reason I'm not eating you is because I'd rather not upset little miss wolfie over here, although I haven't the slightest clue why she's defending a damned hood." She spat the last word with such poison and hatred it sent a chill down her own spine, surprised her words could contain such rage.

"Anyway, wolf, mind explaining why you're helping out a fucking hood? I think he human and I would both like to know."
She rumbled, her half-shut eyes gleaming lazily.

Her ears twitched abruptly as the echo of footsteps swarmed the air. "Looks like we've got company..." Kendra snarled, turning to glare at Sylvia and Red. "Do you know them, hood?" She hissed at Honus, her tail rising from the ground and lashing.

"Th-three?" Supporting himself against the nearest chair he pushed himself off of the floor. His eyes locking on to Ackara and her two babies. "There a...they're beautiful Ackara. Congratulations." He chuckled nervously. It was too real. He had a family. While not his own flesh and blood he could care for them and love them none the less. "But what do we do now? We cannot travel far with newborns. It's too risky and it wouldn't be polite to stay longer than welcomed...uh. Harken? Do you know of any abandoned homes nearby? Or at the very least on the outskirts of a town. We can blend in with humans for as long as needed."

As the male realized the dragons malicious intent, and knew that he was a Hood, he had very few options. But he couldn't bring himself to fight, he couldn't try to stretch out his life through killing, not after the news he learned. "I've seen bigger creatures killed. All it would take would be an arrow straight to the back of your vulnerable eye socket, and you'd be dead." Honus looked to his savior, a dog, and decided to speak to her. "Why bother fight over me? I might just kill you when you're not looking.... both of you. That's what Hoods do, right? We just kill because we want to?"

The dragon's next comment made him look up, and he saw a figure that looked very much like Syl. But it couldn't possibly be, as she was unable to walk and was resting comfortably upstairs.... in that shithole of a house. "And lastly, you foul scaled lizard," Honus said in a bitter reply, "as we find ourselves in a capacity to drink, you have know idea what I am going through at this moment. In that house right there is a disgusting set of creatures, two dogs, a witch, a cat, and a close relative of mine (not to say she is disgusting). One of those dogs gave birth to two foul dogs, and the other..." Honus couldn't bring himself to finish the overdrawn story.

He noticed the dragon had been somewhat injured. He saw this as an opportunity to avert discussion. "What, did you fly into a tree, lizard? I figure if that my name is Hood, yours is lizard."
