Gate

Gate tried not to slam his tail into anything else as he got back up. With a low grunt to the Empoleon, he let a small thrash of his tail out. He merely glanced at the others and walked to a corner by himself where he could swing his tail around and not cripple anyone. Glancing around at everyone, his usual glare remained plastered to his face. That is, until he rested his gaze on Pietra and Kali, and the scowl deepened.

There wasn't a real reason to be angry, but Gate was furious anyway. Must be a good reason somewhere for him to find. So, he stalked over to them and crossed his arms, standing a few feet away. He cleared his throat and raised an eyebrow. Looked like a fight might be starting, and he loved it when things got heated.

Luc

When Ginette seemed like she was uncomfortable, Luc opened his mouth to speak. He didn't know what to say, really. Possibly that he was a Mega or something, but the girl kinda threw him off-balance. There weren't many Nomemon in the CBC that had much appreciation for etiquette, really. Yet, it was very welcome, and Luc jotted down a mental note to remember this recruit in particular. Not for any reason in particular, mostly to keep an eye out for her.

The arrival of Jackie was a big shock to him, usually a formal introduction was sufficient. If even possible, he straightened up more and went rigid. Public displays of affection made him quite uncomfortable.

"It's a safe assumption to make that she's here because she's part of the organization. I suppose you're making an attempt to...mate with her, and that's not normally acceptable in a public place such as this. We're here to greet the newcomers."

@theunderwolf @The Succubi Queen

Jirachi

Yeah, this evening had gone on long enough. Jirachi loved the hyper energy of parties like this, but it was pretty obvious the night was getting a bit long. Kurama was grumpy- or, grumpier than usual, Pietra and Kali were about to get into a cat-fight, and Gate looked like he just wanted to crush something.

Plus, Shuck was making Espeon uncomfortable, and someone had to put a stop to that.

"Ok, it's too late for this- I'm going to bed, which means you all need to get out." With a clap of her tiny hands, all the remaining food disappeared. "Xerny and I are going to bed now. Nobody wake us up. For those of you newbies, you'll start training in the morning, and trust me, it will be hard work. You'll find your rooms upstairs- your holo-casters will direct you, for the most part, but if you're really lost, rooms are sorted by type, so just find someone with the same magic type as you. Goodnight, I'll see you in the afternoon!" With that, Jirachi disappeared, fading out of existence in a little twinkle of light.

Kali

Kali stifled a snort- Gate had come to join their party and moments later, Jirachi declares the night at an end? Coincidence, much?

"Oh, hello, Gate. Good to see you got enough to eat. You got a little something in your teeth, but that's not new, is it?" She cackled. "I'd stop and chat, but my required time here is up. I'll see you squares on the flip side." With a casual flip of her hair, she turned and slinked out the door, taking care not to lean to heavily into her injury. She wouldn't let her handicap ruin her dramatic exit. She noticed Jackie flirting with the tiny new girl before she left, and surpressed a smile. Jackie had never struck her as being into the shy type, and boy, was that Gardevoir shy looking.

Kali was one of the senior members who did not live at CBC HQ- she had a small single flat in the shadier part of town, just off Magenta Plaze- it wasn't exactly upscale, but no one asked annoying questions, at it was away from the more straight-laced members of the CBC.

She, of course, didn't have to attend training in the morning, but she would likely be up early, and find a way to entertain herself. Maybe she and one of the other vets could take on a low key mission of some sort.

It'd been awhile since she'd fought alongside Jackie. The two worked well together, in multiple ways, and it might be fun.

Ginette

When Luc spoke up in a sort of defense of her, it was officially too much for Ginette. She was used to suitors in some form or fashion, but she had never dealt with one as direct as Jackie, or  person who would call them on such behavior.

"It was a pleasure meeting you all, but if you would, please excuse me." Ginette said shortly, breaking away from the group and leaving them behind, abandoning her salad plate. Her face was extremely red. Extremely so. She just hoped no one else attempted to speak to her this evening.

Thankfully, that was the moment Jirachi announced the end of their little dinner meet and greet. And told them to find their rooms. Lovely. Ginette twisted her wrist to pull up her holo-caster display. She could just test every room in the building until she found the one that was hers, right?

Of course, the simplest way to find her room would be to find another Psychic type and ask where their section of the building was. But she wasn't sure she wanted to talk to anyone blushing like this. She hadn't even actually seen another psychic type all day, had she? A few Fairy types, and one or two Darks, but no one that might be able to show here where her room was.

((Alright, this marks an end to the Dinner Scene- if you need to make last post to wind down interactions, you have until @KageYuuki or I post the start of the next day))

Banette

"Cute, eh? I don't often get that," Banette's sentence ended with a little chuckle. Yeah, she might have been small, but once people got a look at her face and all of her scars, they normally had second thoughts about calling her 'cute'. Little did they know that, underneath the Ghost Mega's clothes she had even more scars, but they didn't look half as nice as what was on her face. She looked a bit like she had literally been sewn together, and the sutures were still in her skin. That was why she wore her patchy-looking hoodie all of the time: to hide this, "That's really noble of you, Doll. You probably deserve the position of Mega more than I ever will, with intent like yours."

"Be a shield?" Banette definitely had more to say than that, but then, she heard the voice Jirachi ringing through the room that she and Xerneas were going to bed, and then the food disappeared, "Oh, looks like it's time for us to get going- Do you need help finding your room?"

Dappi

"Ah, no, I deserve no such thing. I simply do my work is all, what is expected of me." he played off ehr complement, though in truth he was flattered at her words. Though it seemed it was time for bed, for those that did sleep anyways. He still had duties to fufill throughout the night, and it would be best to do some exploring around the area while the world was asleep. This would be his temporary home... best keep it clean from top to bottom. Or perhaps arrange IT for use later on, he would have to go into battle.... It has been years since he has used it.

then again he's never had to fight up until recently... Though he'd rather his goddess not learn that he was training once again, he was a priest of life itself

"That would be wonderful, I do need to get used to this place and some assistance would be nice. I think I'll spend the rest of the night keeping an eye on the place. I do not have much to do in my own room sadly... Save for perhaps set up my crafting supplies.." he tapped his chin slightly with the thoughts of money appearing into his mind. That was right, he needed to start production again! he had space to do it, why not begin tonight?

or... should he train?

hrmm....

"Come, let us see this room."

Gate

With a scoff, Gate lashed his tail into the air. He growled in frustration at the obvious reason the dinner was cancelled was him. Jirachi was always the type to not let him have any fun, it always just made him more angry. It was probably time to get back to his place, though, so he started to cool off a little. With a nod to Luc, he heaved a sigh and started off to where he lived.

Gate, being the Water-type he was, loved the water. There really wasn't any body of water in the city, though, so he had a trek to make it to a nearby lake, where he had made his house. The house really wasn't used much because Gate normally slept underwater, but he liked the idea of having a home. It kept him grounded, so to speak. Grumbling to himself, he reached the edge of the water and followed it to the small cottage, where he sunk into the murky depths and swam into the small underwater cave he made. A few bubbles rose to the surface as he smiled and curled his tail around himself.

Luc

As Ginette rose, Luc couldn't help but feel slightly responsible for the embarrassment. His ears twitched and flattened out, but returning to normal quickly. He gave a wave to Gate as he exited and nodded to the Gardevoir.

"Good night. Nice meeting you as well. Jackie."

With a glance to the Flygon, which turned into a glare, Luc rose and stood impeccable straight. He brushed some nonexistent dirt off himself and strode quickly down the halls to his room. Sitting down and breathing deeply, he began to meditate in silence.

Arceus

The rest of the meeting with Dialga and Palkia went about as expected. Dialga continued trying to pull things off track with her quips and jabs are her sister. Arceus and Palkia did what they could to remain on point. Needless to say . . . not much actual planning was accomplished. Not surprising, frustrating nonetheless.

Regardless, now came the part he didn't entirely look forward to. But it was necessary, if he wanted to set things right in this world once more it was necessary. He and Kip set foot into the distorted landscape that Giratina called home. Arceus scanned his surroundings for any sign of the god of this realm. "I know you're there, Giratina. I have a proposition of sorts for you."

@The Succubi Queen@NoviceOfRoleplay

Xerneas

Kurama

Jirachi bringing the meal to a close was rather . . . abrupt of her. Though it wasn't all that out of character for the small goddess. Kurama could tell that Xerneas was exhausted even after the short interaction. The fox may have been old, but he was swift when he needed to be. He was at her side almost silently, holding out a hand for her and offering a shoulder for her to lean on as they walked. "Thank you," Xerneas murmured as she slowly stood and leaned against him.

Kurama waited until they were in the halls and out of earshot before speaking up. "A smaller group than I expected, my lady." His voice remained low, far softer than what had been used towards Koi earlier that day.

"I'm afraid so," Xerneas let out a sigh and shook her head. "All these years without any true signs of them making their move . . . Nomemon have already begun to forget why we were formed in the first place."

"Which means he'll likely move soon with everyone forgetting." Kurama noted grimly, his ears falling at the thought.

"We may be few, but they're a strong group . . . you'll likely want to brief the new mega rank tomorrow once again. Jirachi sometimes misses points in her excitement for everyone's arrival." Xerenas chuckled softly as they reached the door to her room. "Thank you, Kurama. I'll be alright from here."

He hesitated slightly, red eyes watching her closely for a moment. Finally, he sighed and bowed. "Very well, good night, Lady Xerneas."

"Good night, Kurama."

Giratina

He had barely made it back to his home realm when he felt a strange presence appear in the Distortion. Using his vastly immense power in this realm, He teleported to the source of the anomaly. "Oh, father- you really did come! I'm so delighted." He grinned, his sharp teeth showing.

"Oh, and you brought the child. How quaint. Little one, don't you need to take a nap or something while the grown ups talk?"

He floated on the air, looking over Arceus and Kip. "Well, you might as well sit down, this will take a while."

He snapped his fingers, and clouds that covered the realm formed into a table, complete with 3 cloudy chairs. "Don't sit down too fast, they'll dissapate." He urged, pulling a map and several game pieces out of his coat. "Now then, Giratina's 3 part plan for remaking the universe. The nonemon are already lost to us- they've forgotten how to honor us- some have even forgotten that we exist. The gods are all at odd with each over, trying to decide what to do about it. Some, like that foul Andreas, want to remind them of our power through destruction. Others, like that simpering Xerneas, want to let it be, and just fade into memory- they're willing to fight those who would use their power to scare the nonemon into worship, and that just makes the angry ones angrier, and it seems we might just have a war on our hands." The map set itself up as he spoke- small pieces indicated the shrines of each legendary, and several small grey pieces sat on each of the many nonemon cities across the world.

"Step one- we let the war happen. They'll likely wipe out most of the nonemon in their wake, leaving your hand squeaky clean." He snapped his fingers, and the legendary pieces moved around the map, knocking over the grey pawns.

"Step two- you put them all back to sleep- you've done it a million times. You just remove them from the playing field while you set up." The remaining pieces flew off of the map.

"Step 3- you and I finally do what we were meant to do since we came into existance. You let me do what you made me for. We start all over. No more of this universe, no more countless innocents who will eventually stray from your path. Just you and me, and all your real children. The gods you made to rule your world will be your subjects, and you will rule as the truly loving father that you are. No stretching yourself thin with billions. Rely on me- and Palkia and Dialga, of course. Let us help you, as we were meant to You can create to your hearts content, and I will destroy all that you no longer want. It all works out for everyone, doesn't it!." He said, looking at Arceus with a smile. Even Giratina himself was not sure if this slime was sinister or sincere.

Arceus

Arceus offered Giratina a small nod as he approached, at least he was interested. Then again, he knew this was an offer Giratina couldn't refuse . . . He sat, silently watching as the game pieces moved across the board playing out the plans his son had already devised. As the display reached its end, Arceus let out a slow sigh and closed his eyes. "It seems you're already a few steps ahead of me . . . "

The god's head lowered slightly as he thought in silence for a moment. "Well then, I guess that brings me to why I'm here." Arceus looked Giratina in the eye, his expression more serious than usual. "I'm placing you in command of the other gods. I want you leading the offensive in what's to come." He nodded over to Kip, "The reason he's here is to assist. Your Griseous Orb is in a place gods cannot access, it'll take a mortal to retrieve it."

He leaned back, studying Giratina, "What do you say?"

The next morning . . .

It was well known among all senior members to the CBC. One's first real day as a member of this organization started . . . loudly. "Rise and shine kiddies, we got work to do!" Tauros' thundering voice boomed throughout the halls. A lot of the older members had elected to live in apartments throughout Lumiose City. Though for brand new members, that wasn't an option to them just yet.

Samurott grimaced slightly, "Honestly, I think Lady Xerneas can hear you all the way from here . . ."

The annoyed water type's friend only laughed, "Good! Maybe it'll be enough to get these sleeping beauties up and out of bed." Loud knocks struck the doors to the recruit's rooms. "We're burning daylight, let's go!"

The sun hadn't even risen yet . . . .

@Orikanyo@The Succubi Queen@SpicyWatterson-Kun@Lettuce@Happy Red Mage @Quillicious@EchoNightwish @theunderwolf@IG42

(There will be more recruits running around as NPCs, feel free to pick the kind of nomemon and the such.)

Dappi

While the noises outside were apparent, and Dappi was effectively being called. He was finishing up the last of his duties, like a whisper in the night  he had attended to all lady Xerneas would need in the morning ritual, even if he was called to practice. "there we are... All ready." Dappi laid out the kimono gifted yesterday, lady Xerneas knew how to put on one herself, while she was a goddess she did have a place in one of the most fashionable of gods lists. Last there was a competition Lugia was tied with her, if he read the history right... Apparently it is reported he still holds a grudge for not being the prettiest.... Though why a god would care about that is beyond Dappi.

He had also left a note for Kurama about tea for the lady Xerneas, for he knew he would be busy during her awakening.(the note was left on the inside of his room door.) He also wrote a nice thank you note for the man.

"I thank you for standing beside my goddess in her time of need, I shall do all I can to be of assistance. Do not hesitate to call upon me if anything is needed to be done. this husk was born for a purpose, and it's purpose is to serve."

-Dappi-

Now moving to the area the two men were making a ruckus, well, one of them anyways, the one with the flailing tails seemed to be making the noise. The other was a... rather striking man, almost mistakable for a female but... Goodness... If he were still alive... The man who seemed to be yelled wasn't to bad on the eyes either... Now that he thought about it there was many rather handsome men... and quite beautiful women. He wondered... was there any... saucy romance going on!? that Seviper before... She was bugging that other woman quite abit.. could it have been a... LOVER'S QUARREL!?

Oh goodness, the thought is to much to bare, it was so touching and sweet. or perhaps it was simply the seviper woman trying to sway her to her side, taking her away from another lover!? Oh goodness, oh goodness! he simply had to be watchful over those two. Perhaps the others have love triangles as well!? he must be on guard and watch over these sweet hearts, every single one.. he must make certain they find the one for them!! He is a priest of the goddess of life, he could do no less!

Perhaps he could get the banette woman to help him? She seemed to be trustworthy... and seemed the tricky type. he shall admit it takes some measure of sneakiness to go about such duties... But... if he can be do this, no doubt she can as well!

But first he must await the others, and watch for their love sick little glances~!

Oh yes, the trainers.

"I wish you a good morning, I am Dappi, priest of Xerneas and member of the CBC, it is an honor to meet you." he bowed deeply, his nigh constant gentle aura coming forth with every graceful movement.

Aaaah! Now this is more like it! It wasn't as comfy as his bed back home, but it was a close second! Nothing like a good rest to relax his strong Magikarp bones. He still couldn't believe it! He'd ACTUALLY gotten into the CBC! Sure, it wasn't exactly what he hoped it was, what with the stupid snooty seniors and the annoying Xerneas worshiping stuff and blahddy blah blah! But that was now in the past. Now, it was time for a nice, relaxing, sleepy morning...

UNTIL THAT STUPID VOICE HAD TO GO AND RUIN EVERYTHING!

Koi groggily held his pillow over his head, hoping whatever was making that noise would just quit it...but the banging and yelling only got worse. And the fact that he was too awake to go back to sleep made him angry. Growling, he sat up quickly, eyes red and angry. He looked out the window and those angry eyes widened. IT WASN'T EVEN MORNING! Eye twitching as the banging continued, he threw the covers off of him violently and jumped from his bed. Whoever was behind that door better be prepared for full-on 'Grumpy Koi' mode.

Standing wordlessly at the door, he closed his eyes and took a deep breath...before slamming open the door, giving the ox a pissed off look. He slowly contorted it into a false sickening sweet smile. "~Hellooo!" He practically sung, hands clenched into fists. "Glad to see we have visitors! By the way, did you happen to notice the time when you came here with your BEAUTIFUL noise? No? Well, I'LL GIVE YOU A HINT." He pointed at his red pajamas, pointed at his baggy eyes, and violently pointed at the window.

Espeon was one of those older members who elected to live in an apartment in Lumiose, but he still came early everyday- earlier than the time the new recruits had to wake up, in fact. On most days, he left for home early, as well, solely because of the time he woke up.

Today was no different from the rest, and the shiny male stood in the halls while Tauros yelled for people to get up, so as to see how the recruits would react. If he got the urge to gamble, he'd take bets on who would quit within the first week, and who would stay.

He didn't feel the urge to gamble this time.

He cocked a green eyebrow as the magikarp he'd pretended didn't exist yesterday came out of his room, and essentially scolded one of his elders, his aura the unhappy colour of a child throwing a temper tantrum. "Well, I suppose he is throwing a temper tantrum..."

Luc

In a state of relaxation and peace, Luc meditated quietly at the end of his bed, his hands clasped together in front of his chest. Silence was a gift from the Gods themselves, and a gift that Luc truly appreciated. It was one of those things that just made him full of inner peace. Though, with the new recruits, quiet breaks were going to be few and far between, most definitely. Most all of the newer members were big pains, but thankfully Luc was a patient person. He had proven that whilst dealing with that Magikarp boy. Truthfully, he got a pass for his ignorance and slightly obnoxious personality.

Then, the beautiful veil of silence came crashing down as the Lucario recognized the voice of the resident Tauros. At times like these, he really regretted living at the Headquarters. Regaining his composure, Luc rose from the ground. He was so startled that he had fallen, and he heaved a soft sigh. Perhaps it was time for a nice breakfast before this long day. So, Luc exited his room, yawning so that his sharp, white canines were exposed. He strode methodically through the halls, an infinitesimal smile barely twitching the corners of his mouth up as he spotted Eon. Hopefully he could hide his giddy aura while interacting with his undisclosed crush. While Luc believed crushes to be childish, he also was madly infatuated with the shiny Espeon. After a few seconds he realized a goofy grin was plastered to his face, and he was just standing in front of Eon. Gathering his wits, he nodded to him.

"H-hello, Eon. It's nice to see you this morning."

Without yawning, stretching, or showing any signs of fatigue, Gilgamesh sat up obediently from his bedding and stood. His demeanor, way of movement was so precise, he seemed as if he wasn't real. He made his living space neat and tidy, tight and well groomed before inspecting it for about three minutes. After inspection, convinced that his living quarters were in pristine condition, groomed himself and donned appropriate apparel for formal duty.

After entering the halls, he immediately searched for the Nonemon whom had executed the wake up call, seeing as he had yet to receive any orders or assignments. Traversing the halls, he came across many, some with tired eyes and unkempt for military/law enforcement duty. He did recall that most of those he had seen were a tad... Casual, appearing to be more similar to mercenaries than actual formal units.

Eventually, he came upon a group of many. Even though there was a ghost type, a Magikarp, a Samurott, among them, the Tauros was the one he felt sure had woke everyone else. He approached the group, mainly the Tauros and kneeled at him. He was, of course, his superior officer, "Sir, Pvt. Gilgamesh reporting for duty." Then standing, "With all due respect, I have yet to receive any orders, assignments, or positions. I cannot preform without any duties to perform. This may not be your duty, however, given the appearance of every Nonemon here, it is rather difficult to distinguish superior officers from others."

Ginette

The pokemon rolled over with a groan. This was incredibly early- even for a morning bird like her. She sat up, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes, and tried not to look entirely exhausted. She couldn't look defeated on her first day- she was a leader now, after all!

She stood, taking a moment to drape herself in a long green night gown, before answering the door. "If you'll permit me a few moments, I will be with you shortly. Thank you." She then closed the door in a way that indicated she did not plan on opening it again.

She dressed quickly and carefully, taking a moment to drape the new mega stone she carried around her neck. Slipping out the door, she joined the small crowd that was gathering in the hall. "Good morning, Koi- I quite like your pajamas. Did you sleep well last night?" She inquired politely, brushing a small lock of hair out of her face. She was tired as heck, and she could probably use another 3 hours of sleep, but she knew that right now, not a soul could tell she was anything less than perfectly alert.

"And a good morning to you, Private Gilgamesh- I'm not sure we still have such titles in such an institution. I'm Ginette, a pleasure to meet you." She extended her hand, hoping to break his stiff demeanor with her own relaxed aura.

The mood in this room was grumpy, mostly, but perhaps a bit of positive energy could improve it all.

DITTO

The blaring noise of Ditto's alarm socked her dreams in the gut as it forced her to wake up. She forcefully stood up from her bed, jiggling slightly because of her sudden motion. Here vision was blurry so she rubbed her eyes to clear away the sleepiness. She turned off her alarm with a stiff slap onto its button and looked out the window. "It's sunny out...I guess there's no need to bring a rain coat today." She mumbled as she shifted her legs around.

She stretched herself out and yawned. "Another day for wo-*yawn*" She yawned out as she got herself cleaned up and fixed her bed before grabbing a small loaf of bread and leaving her apartment. She brushed a lock of pink hair back into place as she jogged her way to work. "I sure hope there isn't much to do today." She whispered in a soft voice as she entered the structure. "Good morning everyone!" She greeted cheerfully towards the other members. "So, how're all of you this morning?"

Of the startled and half asleep Nomemon stumbling from their rooms, the first one that stood out was Dappi. Tauros gave him a slight nod, "I remember seeing you last night. Lady Xerneas sure seemed happy to see you." Having him around should hopefully do her some good. The flaring temper of the youngest recruit drew his attention away from the priest, "Head on over to the training field, your holocaster will show you where to go."

Tauros stalked over to Koi, the boy's attitude wasn't exactly going to get him too far. "I know exactly what time it is, recruit." He towered over the irritable Magikarp, tails flicking in annoyance. "Now," he leaned closer, voice lowering dangerously, "You have two minutes to get dressed and get your ass down to the training field. Now go!"

Finished with Koi, he turned towards the kneeling Metagross. Someone that clearly already had some training . . . this should make life a little easier. "You'll be learning about that soon, head down to the training field. Make sure to bring the item gifted by Lady Xerneas and Jirachi."

Samurott happened to be standing by Ginette's door as she peered out and offered a brief greeting before disappearing once more. She was one of the new Megas, wasn't she? Such a frail looking thing . . . she was certainly going to have her hands full.

Assuming she survived learning to control her new form.

Tauros snorted, glancing around at the gaggle of bleary eyed recruits, "Was I not clear? Get those asses down to the training field, NOW!" Nomemon scrambled by and down the hall.

Jackie Fly

Disappointed in the Gardevoir's quick exit, Jackie threw herself head first into enjoying the rest of the evening. While Jirachi had called it a night, the seniors (Those who didn't have to wake up at dawn) went out for further revelry. As usual it was a blast but as she stumbled back to the complex she struggled to remember what she had done. There were a lot of drinks. And a lot of lips. Huuuuh. Oh well she had fun. But she did need a bed tonight. But Jackie didn't ooooown a bed. Not one for being tied down, she'd been that for long enough, Jackie never got her own apartment and used her small room in the cdc as more of a storage space. She slept wherever she wanted, nd frankly didn't understand why others got so fussy about having a place to go to or whatever. But it did raise an issue of where to go.

---

Jackie woke up slowly and groaned. Ledgendaries she was sore. And where was she ? The ceiling was familier and the bed was comfortable so that ruled out some places... Curious she reached and pawed at her surroundings encountering a figure under the covers next to her. Curiously she gently poked at the other nomemon. She was soft and...pointy. Kali! Jackie sighed with happiness. Kali had suuuch a nice apartment and in a nice apartment there was always food. Sleepily, she exited the bed as quietly as possible, before giving the still sleeping (Hopefully) Seviper a peck on the cheek. Wandering over to the kitchenette, she sighed at the state of it. Kali was not the domestic type, and she didn't cook for herself much. luckily there was bread, margarine and, after a little digging, Jackie's little stock of cinnamon sugar (Something she kept at any of her frequent roosts). Humming under her breath she went about making a little more cinnamon toast then was strictly necessary.

Pietra

Pietra walked out of the cafeteria in a huff, angry at herself more then anyone over losing control like that. That seviper just had a way of getting under her skin. Now she had to go to bed but... her mother always told her never to go to bed angry. So she went to the gym and pulled out one of the sandbags. After taking a deep breath she spent the next hour punching kicking and performing every move she knew on the bag. An hour later she was tired, happy and ready to take a nap. And after wandering back into her spartan room. she did just that.

---

An hour before dawn, Pietra woke up instantly. She had trained long and hard to keep control of her sleeping patterns and it paid off. She felt rested, relaxed and started her morning. First thing, coffee one of her few vices, but it got her up before breakfast and she loved the rush. That done she started her morning exercises. Stretching, jogging and some minor weights to get her ready for the day. Training new meats, one of her favorite things. It was so satisfying to see them grow and, while she would never admit it, It was a good way to make sure she would have a lot of sparring practice for the future if she trained them right. But that would be then, this was now. And now it was the first day, so it was time to impress on them exactly how seriously they needed to take this. Knowing that, she put on her coat and grabbed her two massive stone swords. It was time to impress. And as the sun rose she heard the familier wake up call, and readied herself to greet the recruits in the middle of the training field.

Giving Tauros the warriors salute and a nod, he about faced and headed back to his living quarters with a warmth in his heart. He finally had purpose again and couldn't wait to get out to the training field to hone his skills. As he headed down the halls, he passed by a Nonemon with large stone blades. They were impressive and reminded him of service. He gave her a dignified nod, before heading into his room, grabbing the box with the band in it, and heading back out and towards the training field.

Such anticipation filled his eyes, even though his facial expression betrayed no such emotion. He felt strong and sturdy. Like he could lift  his old commander. Hell, he could lift ten of Dread. Stepping into the field with the other punctual Nonemon, still and with perfect posture.

Espeon

Espeon could tell who was approaching him by the aura surrounding him before he even saw his face. Partially, it may have been because the aura took a sharp change from a nice, calm blue to bright, excited pink when it fell in his direction. That was Luc, he would have bet his own two and six of Kurams's tails on it. When he turned to actually face the owner of the aura, his guess was confirmed; it was definitely Luc, smiling as if he had just evolved. He thought that the Mega had a crush on him, by how his aura chabged any time he saw him.... Or perhaps the Lucario just thought of him as a really close friend, he wasn't sure, "L-Luc! Good Morn-Morning. How did y-you sleep?"

With a deep breath, Luc calmed himself. His self-discipline was better than that. It went haywire when he got really excited, though, and this was no exception. After however long the two had known each other, Eon had never really mentioned anything about how Luc's demeanor changed around him. Hiding his aura from the Nomeman was a struggle, but he managed. Now and then he slipped up, of course, so he had to be careful. Bowing deeply before Eon, the Lucario connected his palms and didn't look at him. The extremely formal etiquette that his family had rigorously drilled into him never ceased to dictate his actions. Especially not with someone whom he so much respected. He straightened up with a pleasant smile on his face.

"I slept well, Eon. Thank you for your concern. Since the recruits will be occupying the training staff for the day...I was hoping you and I could train together! I understand my stature as a Mega evolving member and all, but I know that hasn't impeded our friendship before. Still, I would be delighted to be able to spar. We could even have an audience, if you'd allow it."

Espeon

"Of c-course I'll train with y-you, Luc," Espeon was always happy to spend time with his Mega-Evolving friend, even if it was in a spar. Either of the two of them could get hurt, but that wasn't something that particularly concerned the shiny Nomemon- Thye would both heal, and neither one of them ever sustained anything too bad. Plus, he got to spend more time together, and did he mention that he'd get to spend more time around Luc? The Lucario was one person that Espeon could say he genuinely enjoyed spending time around. He was calm, and polite, unlike quite a few of the others... Such as the Magikarp that Espeon didn't care to figure out the name of, throwing a tantrum because he was tired, "A-An audience?" He thought for a second on that. He wasn't particularly fond of people watching him fight, but what could it hurt? "Tha-That doesn't sound l-like a bad idea."

Koi's tired eyes looked at Ginnete and gave her a forced smile. "PLEASE. NOT. NOW." He said through gritted teeth. Koi's eyes went back to Tauros and slowly began to narrow the moment the guy decided to come close to him. Was...Was this guy trying to intimidate him? His eye twitched at this. He was seriously doing this right now...He was ACTUALLY doing this. If there was one thing he HATED, it was people who thought they were better than him. And using intimidation to try and prove that was...ANNOYING. He closed his eyes the moment the dumb bull decided to lean closer to his face. 'He has five seconds. FiVE. SECONDS.' Koi kept repeating in his head. He then opened his eyes to see that he was gone and yelling at other recruits. With a red face and a throbbing vein on his forehead...he took a deep breath in and exhaled slowly.

Keep it together, Koi. This is your first official day in the CBC! No dumb seniors, no annoying 'Coach', and certainly no bossy foxes were gonna get in his way today. Because today was Koi's day! "Go-Got it...dumb jerk."

...What? He didn't say he wouldn't say quiet insults to himself. With the pace of an adult who hadn't gotten a cup of coffee yet, he went back into the room and closed...well, slammed it shut. He then proceeded to throw on a red hoodie and a pair of grey sweatpants. After brushing his teeth and washing his face, he went out the bathroom and looked around...now, where was his holocaster? He then proceeded to look around the room for it, checking under his bed, in the dressers, and even behind the bathroom toilet. Finally, he decided to look in his suitcase. Digging through clothes he didn't bother to hang up yet, he frowned. What was...this? He grabbed the foreign object and pulled it out. It was a picture frame. On it was him and his parents, all magikarps, posing for the photo, dad giving him a noogie while mom was just laughing and Koi himself looked to be half-angry, yet half-happy. And at the left...

Show em' whatcha got, son!

You can do it honey!

-Mommy and Dad

Koi's eyes teared up before he sniffed and hastily wiped his eyes...at least they didn't think they were better or cooler than him...sometimes, it felt like they were the only people who he could really talk to...with a sigh, he put the picture frame down and put up his hood. With a crack of his neck and a yawn, he groggily walked to his door and opened it. "In to the abyss we go..." He sighed before moving to the training field.

Luc

Nodding to himself, Luc gave a big grin. His pristine white fangs were visible, slightly poking his bottom lip. He looked over the new recruits, scanning each new face. They had better behave themselves, or else. Eon's condition was known and sympathized with by his friend. If any single one of the newbies poked any fun at or embarrassed Eon, he'd personally PUMMEL THEM INTO A PULP AND SHOW THEM WHY HE'S THE FIGHTING MEGA!!! Haha, of course he wouldn't! That would just be bad etiquette on his part if he did so. Seriously, they'd regret it.

"Wonderful! Let's go, then! I can't wait to spar~! Come along, recruits, I'm borrowing you all for a little while! I hope you don't mind, Tauros~! It'll only be a little while, then we can resume training! Speaking of which, where's Gate?"

Gate

Every day before dawn, Gate began to train. He did a workout composed by a complex formula that he strictly went by every morning. Whatever he feels like doing. This particular time consisted of lifting a few logs a few hundred times, several hundred pull-ups with weights attached to his legs, and now standing on his arms, lowering himself. He grunted in effort and heaved a breath as he finished his last rep. He felt a little disappointed at his workout being finished.

"One thousand...done. Ahh, nothin' like a good exercise session to warm up your muscles! Prolly should get to the HQ, now."

Walking into the building, he slightly bumped into Ditto. Ah, her. Cheery as always, wasn't she? He mumbled a greeting to her, along with some incoherent murmurings to the others. The Feraligatr shoved his hands into his pockets and stood off to the side of the group, near Ditto.

"Ya missed the banquet last night, Ditt. How come?
